It was a kid free day, so the better half and I decided to head over to Rutherglen for lunch and a wander around. It's great to see more caches popping up around the area. Thank you.A quick park and grab here picked up interesting TB.TFTC!
Out and about today poking around Rutherglen. Well, you don't see these fellows every day. I love camels , they are the best. Thanks for placing this cache here forsax me to find. All good here. Now, onto the next one for the day. TNLN TFTC
With the sun shining and the first day of spring, it was an easy decision to head out and find some of the new caches in the area. This ended up being my last cache for the day. The things you discover whilst geocaching. Cache found, log signed and returned as found
There were a couple of bigger lumps in the paddock among the sheep. SL at 9.43am Took: TB Left: TB #11,158 TFTC BootnBee
Nice easy find as I make my way back home to Wangaratta. Left a TB and took the one Harrowang left. TFTC, SL at 14:50pm.
A few new caches drew us over to Rutherglen, and some Indian food for lunch.OK, what happened to No.2? Jumped from 3 to 1.We have seen the unique animals before, but there was no trace of them today. (unless they were in sheep's clothing!)Luckily we did find the cache though. Thanks, Robmc.
Popped down to Rutherglen to collect this one after seeing it published in the last couple of days. It was a nice easy find. Took one of the 2 TB's in the cache to move on. I spotted a couple of camels in the paddock and also some cute alpaca's nearby. The sheep also seemed very inquisitive today
# 21680. Another quick visit to Rutherglen after dropping Rob's vehicle in Chiltern ready for a quick departure down the Freeway. Got joint 2TF on these two new ones with interesting names. No camels to be seen this morning so that was sad. A quick find of the good sized small so I left two of my TB's to start their journey through the caching world. Pathtag also dropped in. Thanks BootnBee
***FTF*** at 8.15am. Llamas make excellent protectors of sheep. Camels are cousins of Llamas and don't need shearing, so maybe a good match to protect this flock of woolly sheep. Camel milk would also be another excellent resource to develop in this very productive farmland around Rutherglen. The sheep were far more curious to watch what we were doing, the camels took off to the other side of the paddock, so who knows if they would protect the sheep???Thanks for a cache in such a pretty farmland setting BootnBee.
