This week it was a Wonderful Wednesday Wander with another couple of Confused Puzzlers. Met up with the Starfish at the Rat's nest and, what made this Wednesday particularly Wonderful, then debuted the Rat's new geovehicle. The main aim for the day was to get our fill of the A Jigidi for ... series, but of course there were going to be some others found, just because they were there and we could. Thanks to jamesta18 for adding to our playing field with this cache.Smilie #15571.I would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this Land, and their continuing connection to it. I also wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, and to Elders past, present and emerging.*This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).*
Time for a Wednesday wander on the back roads.A trio of Confused Puzzlers Went a wandering. The trio consisted of SA Sewer Rats, Brisal5 and ttrogg. It was time to take the new Rat mobile out on her maiden run.Our plan for today was to meet at the Rat,s Nest. Then into the Rat mobile and head out into the sunshine. We went here and there following boxes.A quick find for the trio today. Tftc
Something special or unusual goes here:A very interesting family history here. A quick find too. The Generic Bit:Another Wednesday Wander this week for some Confused Puzzlers. I drove to the Rat's nest where I nest up with Ttrogg and Sewer Rats. We piled into the Rat-mobile to give a Geocaching christening. [^] Our target today was to grab a few jigidi for caches and anything else that we happened to be close to. Another fun day with no DNFs and all caches located in good repair. ***Thanks jamesta18 for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.

Found while out caching for the day with gridge98.Today we headed up to the Barossa and surrounds to find a few caches of interest. After a cold morning, it turned into a beautiful clear sunny day. Not too warm, but ideal for caching. The cache was a quick find and was in good condition.. Thanks jamesta18 for the cache.
Always love this area. Some very fond memories. I did not go up the steps today.A fun find with Team Waldron. We decided to do a loop to join the jigidi pieces and to join a few other dots as well. An early start was the order of the day.| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |Thanks to jamesta18 and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. Doctor Owl needed to do some maintenance out north so a caching trip was organised. It was a lovely day for caching and a drive in the country. We ended up in Tanunda for lunch then Truro for afternoon tea before heading home. Maintenance completed and a couple of DNF's found so all in all a good fun day.While heading to GZ on the wrong side of the fence I managed to trip over and fall, not hurt just a bit embarassed. We looked for a long time before calling the FTFer who gladly helped. Once we were on the right side of the fence and with clear instructions the cache was soon found.Thanks for the cache jamesta18.
It was a lovely day for caching and Owl joined JJ52 for a nice drive in the country. But first there was maintenance to do and a DNF to avenge. This one was nearly added to the list, especially when the Dragon suffered a fall on uneven ground. A PaF told them they were on the wrong side of the fence and a relocation soon revealed the cache 15 m from GZ. Owl's GPS suggests that S 34 29.225 E 138 55.600 might be an easier find for other cachers but the duo will happily accept a Silver placing.
So much for going to bed early tonight![?] There i was, actually getting into bed, when that specific sound emanated from my mobile phone That sound that gets the heart racing and the adrenaline pumping as the thrill of looking for a newly published cache floods the body with excitementTwo caches North East of home and not too far away[^] Plus, they are jamesta18 caches[^] and he hasn't put any out for ages So it is great that he is once again placing caches for everyone to find[^][^] I remember quite a few midnight, or very early morning, runs for jamesta18 cachesRex and I took off but it seems that that adelaideram guy is faster than us, plus he lives a bit more in that direction than we do Once I saw that adelaideram had logged the first cache on the highway, I rang him to see if he was heading to Seppeltsfield, too[?][?] He informed me that he was already there, had been there for a while and was about to leave but that he had NOT found the cache[?][?]After leaving Seppeltsfield, I grabbed the Sheo Oak Log Jigidi that I had let some other geocachers get FTF on a few days prior[^][^]As I was leaving that cache, that specific sound emanated from my mobile phone, again[?]Oh wow! A virtual cache in Gawler![^][^] Naturally, I just could not drive past that on our way home Hence, Rex and I managed 2 FTFs tonight[:X] Finally, after midnight, we managed to crawl into our respective beds and sleep[|)][|)][^]By the time I arrived here, adelaideram had left and logged his DNFRex and I started searching and searching[^] Through dusty bushes, trees, dry grasses, dead palm fronds and a bit of rubbish too[?][?] I was fairly certain that the cache would be on the car park side of the fence[^][^] as I'd not known jamesta18 to put caches in places that they shouldn't be before[^][^] I did just SMS him, though, to make extra sure that it was on the side that I was looking at[?]Once I was sure the cache wasn't where GZ was showing, I spread out further and further![^][?][^]Thankfully I only had to spread out to one side because I soon spotted something that looked like a cache and sure enough, it was! Woohoo! *FTF* TNLN. SL. TFTC jamesta18
