I was out today chasing 4WD attributes. Had some nice quick finds. Thank you, RoddyC for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.
Some of the hints were helpful, and some not at all. Fortunately this was not too hard to locate.
Out solo today. After looking at the other cache nearby and needing assistance with it, I came to this one. A nice walk on mown grass at GZ quickly. A quick find. Signed the log and returned to where I found it Thanks Logan Geocaching. All good with this cache and puzzle
Today was an opportunity to collect a couple of jigsaw puzzle hides.Mr. Domsky really enjoys the jigsaws, and stays up far too late having fun! That actually works well since they are not so much Mrs. Domsky s cup of tea. But after all, isnt that what a good partnership is about! We found this one quickly today, safe in its little hiding spot. Thanks RoddyCDomsky
I have been attending all of the GCLogan activities and events; enjoying the events and caching activities. Along the way I have teamed up with Bluewattle, Grannysmith and Snickersallan as we worked our way around the areas collecting the new caches, and even some older ones. We managed to attend most events, a few citos and some meal events. It was great to see the many different faces turning up to the different events. There was so much to do on the days that it is not hard for a few to fall between the cracks. So today I was out to fill a few holes and collect the caches and clean up some areas. I enjoyed the events and had a good time along the way, thank you for the work you've done.
After a morning of chores appointments and picking up my new hiking boots from Peppa, I decided to head out and give them a spin ( acknowledging there wasnt going to be much in the way of hiking involved, but non the less a good way to wear them in.Solved the last jigsaw on the plane back from Perth during the week and was soon at ground zero, where the cache was quickly located. Log extracted and signed. Back to the car and off on the next adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.Cheers
After many hours working on these delightful jigsaw puzzles and keeping note of code word for when they were published we found ourselves out on road for the first time in what seemed like ages. This one took a little while to get to right spot but it was obvious as soon as we did:)Thanks RoddyC
In Logan for the GCLogan event this week. Today, we are off to Daisy Hill for bbq lunch. Caching on our way.Solved all the jigidis before the event, found a few a few days ago. And some more today with Mr D (AKA PJ)If Dunmowin has stamped the log, then PJ was there as well. Thanks Logan Geocaching for the puzzles and the hide.
Before the event in Beenleigh, I had time to kill, so I collected some of the 1000 new caches on the wayA nice quick find and I was on my wayThanks Logan Geocaching
Day 4 for us at GCLOGAN.We completed the jigsaws even though the hunt was on a day prior to our arrival. So we were excited when they werent caches that required a canoe.Today is our day for the jigsaw hunt .Thanks Logan Geocaching for creating, placing and maintaining this cache.
I was down on the Southside chasing caches. I found 8 in a big group. Then head of to find other caches on my list. Cache found and signed. RoddyC thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for enjoyment of the caching community.
After a nice lunch break, it was time to venture out into this district with geo friends after having previously solved all jigsaws. All hides were easy enough to find, and some were extra special with good camouflage.Thank you, RoddyC, for placing this good hide for our benefit ??
Called out today to catch up, on adding our name to the log on a few that we didn't get done yesterday. Tftc
With hatzofffFun to put your name in the log.Log signed and cache replaced as found on 28 September 2024. TFTC, Logan Geocaching
A wonderful 9 days spent exploring the length and breadth of Logan in the company of great friends and family. I was so fortunate to have GreenGecko1 both drive me around and accompany me in the kayak, allowing me to fully participate in the whole experience. A fabulous selection of caches, some of which had great camouflage, some adorable guardians, some perfectly matched the cache name and some really well hidden. I really enjoyed my time paddling, bushwalking, fishing, chatting and finding new and interesting places to visit. Thanks to everyone who put so much time and effort in to creating and placing all the caches and organising everything behind the scenes. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed. Thanks for this one Logan Geocaching
Our group now consisted of Snickersallen, grannysmith1947, chamad and Bluewattle. Finding caches before they're published has some disadvantages... no D/Ts, size or hint. All we were told was one of the jigsaw series was tree fishing consequently we were scanning every suitable tree near every GZ. Found the cache when we looked in the right direction. TFTC Logan Geocaching.
After a morning paddle it was time to find some land based caches. GreenGecko1 and I buzzed around and had a great time finding and signing.

Having completed all the jigsaws before travelling north to Queensland for GCLOGAN, today was the day to try and find the caches. The CO distributed the paperwork required for us to start the hunt. I was travelling with Cosmonaut99, Albida33 and Kittykatch and this was just one of the many caches we found this afternoon. TFTC and all your work RoddyC. SL

Out today after the GCLOGAN event on the jigsaw hunt. I met up with different groups while travelling around. Most of the time I was with TBU2Uwe001 and TBU1Bikesu but we crossed paths with others along the way. TFTC
Bottlebrush was my shared *FTF* and I was hoping for a plethora of these beautiful trees - we have a few in our garden and theyre always a draw for the birds - but alas! Only a group of geocachers today. We sheltered the logbook from the renewing rain as we signed and replaced this one before dashing back to the car for raincoats again. TFTC, Logan Geocaching. =^.^=
Out and about this afternoon with Imbunda to find the finals of these puzzles. I completed the jigsaws beforehand, which took several hours over several days and enjoyed simulating my brain! Thanks for the puzzle and cache.
I solved all of the jigsaw puzzles over the past couple of weeks and today I joined Shazzar66, Elina_Maree and Kylie to find the series. Most were a quick find with logbook signed and replaced as found. Tftc
I solved these jigsaws prior to attending GCLOGAN so once they were published all that remained was to get the coordinates and make the search. They were found in a variety of hides and varying degrees of difficulty as far as me locating them but all were found in good condition unless otherwise indicated. Thank you Logan Geocaching for setting this series up. It filled in time doing the jigsaws and then finding the caches.
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 150 - Logan Day 3. GCLOGAN event day 2. the first day of Canoeing has arrived and we all met up for a breakfast event and vessel preparations. A great time before the tide turned, but right on cue it rained for the whole hour we were on the water. It made navigation and cache finding quite a challenge, but the group made the way down the river and found each cache along the way, signing them all as Scouts Breakfast. It was quite fun and not as far as I feared, but still a challenge in the wet. There was a bit f a car shuffle t get back to the start and then we broke up into car loads for the travel to the lunch event. I was with Kitty Katch and we did a few cache in Brookhaven along the way. After lunch it was on with the painfully solved Jigidi Jigsaws. I was joined by Smitten Granny and Cosmonaut87 for this part of the day and we slowly worked through the list of solved puzzles. Some were a real challenge, be we found them all. To end the day we went back to collect a car and did one Where-i-go along the way before heading home for an amazing home cooked meal at Chateau GrimRaider. More paddling tomorrow, I hope it is not as wet. Thanks for the cache Logan Geocaching49250.27 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & January Tripod Bit A#510**Albida**
We participated today in the big Jigsaw hunt! The jigsaws were of different difficulties, and were easy to solve or took longer. We had all 18 sets of coords and headed off: from North to South and back. Partly we were joined by Wollaston and Alisnan. Some were easy to find, some required TOTTs and longer searches.Tftc RoddyC
We participated today in the big Jigsaw hunt! Out with TBU1BIKESU and partly we were joined by Wollaston and Alisnan.Found the cache and signed the log. Tftc RoddyC
During lunch at the Windaroo Lakes Golf Club, we finalised the coords for the Great Jigsaw Puzzle hunt this arvo. There was a bit of internal turmoil - should we set out for what we came down here for or should we grab another beer and settle in to watch the AFL grand final Lions v Swans?? With an FTF on the line, the decision was made for us. Waypoints were entered and we headed off for the finds. Thanks for setting up this great event.A secluded park IOT take our time with this one.
GCLOGAN TripGreat to be out collecting the puzzles with this beaut bunch - lots of friendly chatter and helping each other. I am travelling with GrimRaider to GCLogan and then to western NSW on our first trip with the van. Thanks for hiding this cache Logan Geocaching
