The cache was trying to hide from us in the foliage but we soon got our hands on it.A nice quick find on our morning walk along the trail.Only two more to find now before working out the location of the bonus.TFTC.
A plan was made with Net61 to find the caches along the HRT trail. We have ridden the trail before, but today we were doing it with 4 wheels (car) rather than 2 (bike). The sun was out, but the day was not too hot - perfect weather for this series. Jag managed to do some creative parking here, while Navigator Net made a quick find of the cache. TFTC
Yip...at least Power Pole Finds are quick and easy!Phew.....on to the next one in the trail.
I had a plan to come down from Auckland with supernannny to do the HRT trail from Te Aroha to Matamata. But she had offered to drive us everywhere in her hybrid car which is soo cheap to run and which was really nice of her. It was pouring with rain when she arrived to pick me up at 7am, did some caches along the way apart from the power trail, visited a friend in Hamilton for a much needed coffee, then home about 10pm. At one point I joked with supernannny that her little car was small enough to go along the cycleway instead of the road! So many times SN had to watch very carefully in her mirror before she indicated, because of the speed other drivers were racing up behind us. Occasionally, we couldn't stop right next to the cache as a result, but safety was far more important than taking longer to get to the cache.
A super quick find here thanks to good hint. Thanks for setting this trail up. Tftc
Had been down in Opotiki recommissioning equipment. The line started up well with minimal issues. With everything going well I could head back to Auckland. Of course had to make a few stops on the way!I also wanted to complete this leg of the HRT series which I had started on my way down to Opotiki. There were a few caches before that but on the same road so it seemed rude not to attempt these as well.Back onto the HRT trail now. Mission ALMOST complete... there is still ONE Pesky DNF from yesterday to resolve!!!TFTC
Part 2 to complete the new HRT caches, tail wind on the bike. All caches in good nick... Thanks for setting these up.
This has been a very enjoyable trail some great hide and quick find thanks for the afternoon
**#21,188**Another code written down and cache replaced as found, I have figured out that the power poles are spaced pretty much bang on 70m apart, made for an easy calculation from the previous cache as to how far to cycle before looking at the GPS again...
Got a call from Boges to have an afternoon clearing this trail of caches. No problem here. There was a vehicle parked at the nearby gate but no one was in it. Thank you for the placement.
It was the first day back at school for the kids so it was a peaceful afternoon with KGD to go for a country drive and get these treasures. The weather forecast was for heavy showers but they went around us. Thanks for putting this together
On a mish with the NZ Flossy. A great day for it A nice trail to get our heads back in the game before heading to Dunedin. Many thanks.
Day trip with McJandals collecting these new caches. Having fun catching up and discussing how we should have got our bikes Oh well next time . Thanks for putting out all these caches and giving us a good day. TFTC

With Gap (of Fap and Gap) Re-routing, re-routingThe original plan was to meet Gap further up the country. But the multiple pings in my email inbox this morning signalled something big The universe knows Im chasing a milestone, and this HRT add-on must be the answer to someones prayersAnother quick find - Thanks pomtom44. TFTC.

Having an influx of emails this morning, Kiwi Does Stuff and ourselves made our way over to complete this trail. Appreciate the caches! All were found in good condition.
