Heading to NE for some Sandhill Cranes viewing and, of course, some new geocaches. Couldn't pass up the chance to tag this Virtual Cache on the northeast corner of Colorado. Excellent spot for a cache! This of one of those places you'd never find, if it weren't for geocaching. Found the nearby benchmarks as well. Answers sent to cache owner. TFTC!
I have been wanting to come get another corner cache for quite some time (this is my second of the four CO corners). I had a day off of work so I decided today was the day. Thanks for the virtual!
I was determined to get this cache, and my kids were determined to sleep in Colorado tonight. After spending 2 weeks visiting family in MI they were ready to be home. So 9pm found us out here on very dark and foggy night. Couldn't read all the plaques but I have a picture and emailed that and the elevation which I could see to the co.
Driving back from Utah along I-80 bound for Minnesota. Traveling through Nebraska most of the day. Didn't have any caches planned, so we just stopped when we needed to and looked up nearby caches to stretch the legs. It helped break the day up nicely. Thanks for placing a cache to help us along the day. TFTVC
Making a road trip out to California to visit the grandkids and taking a little detour get a few caches. Day 2 heading across Nebraska for Wyoming. Now I can say "I've been to where the handle meets the pan" usiually for it where the s*** hist the fire. Thanks for getting us to slow down a minute and enjoy the fantastic view.
Found with gjsikma, Vulcan64, and AussieCacher on a long weekend trip to Colorado and New Mexico. Our main target (goal) cache was to get a 14er, but we also got quite a few other gems. This was one of them. All of us hit some really nice milestones. We had great weather, great roads, and great caches. Only three DNF's that I recollect and a varied amount of different and unique caches. TFT"Virtual"C gjsikma provided email answers for GSAC Team
US12. This was a bit of a side trip on dirt, but it is my first US state corner. Quite an impressive set of plaques here with lots of interesting information. e-mail sent. Thanks.
