As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Keener

The last person to find this one didn't hide it to well, which was probably a good thing cause we had places to be and we were running late already. Still good though. Wink Nice one Rimmer!!

Easy find. Lucky there were no mosquitos today!

Dropped off Headless Barn Animals TB.

Thought we could do with some night cache practice for the up-coming Gold rush weekend out at Dubbo…Night caching definitely adds a whole new dimension, its not as scenic however, its a lot more spine tingling TNLeftKeyringSL ...Cheers Red Dwarf.

02-Jun-05
After knocking off early on Friday to get "stuff" done i thought it would be fun to do a night cache in our new town. This one was easy to get to and seemed easy enough to do in the dark.

We set off, found GZ, looked around for a bit before Twi$tie$ came up with the goods.

TNLeftKeyringSL

Thanks.

A nice easy find whilst battling the huge mozzies.

We did this one on dusk, stumbled around and there it was just looking at us. The cache was quite exposed se we did a little coverup work before we left.

Found this one in the area while doing Burning Bridges. Lots of Big mozzies at this one. We even saw Bambi (Dear) down on the mangroves.

18-Sep-04
Took our lunch for a picnic, watching the boats from the point. We went a bit too far down the hill at first, but found the stash on the way out. Left bubbles, took nothing.

05-Aug-04
No mozzies today. (Either that or they didn't like my blood type.)

Should have listened to my daughter when she said "Let's go THIS way Dad!" - would have missed all the brambles that I fought my way through.

Took Tiny Tator TB to leave in a spot where he will have better scenery.

31-Jul-04
On our way to the Wacky Winter Wooley Warm Wear event cache we found this and dropped off Tiny Tater travel bug.

12-Jul-04
Took an early morning walk with the SWAG dog. Found the cache very quickly. I'm surprised that more local kids haven't found this. Winter caching is the way to go - not a mozzie in sight. This cache probably needs to be restocked. It's getting a bit thin in there. So TNLN.
We went for a pleasant walk along the sand bar later because the tide was out. Cached in and Trashed out some plastic bags. Nice spot.

16-Jan-04
Took a while to find. Was looking mostly in the wrong spot. I had presumed the actual hiding place was too obvious, so didn't look very hard.

08-Jan-04
Found this on a flying visit to the "shire". interesting spot. No bloodsuckers today. Grabbed the two tb's and left one behind... no wait that was one tb, the other was "Ferris Bueller the Budgie" now the newest member of Team Gecko he joins with Jake to look after Chateu Gecko whilst we are out in the midday heat.

17-Dec-03
Too many mosquitoes biting, but we found the cache so it was worth it.

Took a while to find, was looking in the wrong place at first but got there in the end. Took fishing hooks and left CadeCard #2 and "MILLEE" TB. Thanks for the cache.

07-Dec-03
2nd for the night 0020. As this was in the area I had to do it.

Thanks, the Geodog enjoyed the walk, and met his first Possum, and I met the Mozzies.

07-Dec-03
#2 for the night

Nice walk, but thankful I could follow Wookie and his faithful Geopup back out Smile

Great little park at the end of suburbia...knew I should have taken the fishin' gear..no swaps...thanks Red Dwarf

24-Nov-03
A nice one and a good starting point for a short walk along the water!

30-Sep-03
Nice easy find in the rain for PAK, GEK and SpecialK's guest LHT. Not sure about those suspicious Sydney Water employees hanging around though. The hiding place remains uncompromised but who knows what may happen if they get overly curious.

Two Sydney Water guys have already logged a find for Starbug 1 Big Grin

15-Aug-03
Found this cache without too much difficulty. Never knew this little spot existed. Took nothing, left nothing. Nice touch the squashed mozzies. The Trio.

Our first Geocaching experience... looks like this will be a great way to spend the weekends...

Very pleasent little spot. Crackers and I soon revealed the hidden treasure and we were on our way. Thanks Red Dwarf.

Pushed away the sand flies and located this cache quickly with cabin girl.

It's amazing the locals havent stumbled on it yet.

Took a smiley face stamp and left Blackbeards calling card, fish hooks for those have time and a Monsters Inc toy. Good one Red Dwarf.

Good one but lots of trees made GPS coverage slightly flakey...however we got it easily enough once we started using the compass.

A lovely part of Sydney that I'd never have known about or visited if it wasn't for the geocache.

16-Feb-03
I was pleasantly surprised by this location and the views from the west side of the lookout... Unfortunately the cache site is a different story - Mozzies and Asparagus Fern (Ouch)...
Warlok, you may want to keep an eye on this cache location as the bush care people were very busy down there today... Only a matter of time before they clean up the cache...

Pity nobody could make it in time to get the Cinema Cash. I guess I waited until to late to place them. Anyway, I have updated the cache container as it was bursting at the seams. This new cache container is much bigger. Good luck!

Took the tape (left by the worker who found the cache), left some badges.

28-Jan-03
im the worker who left the tape ,surgical glove , dog tag & condom... im currently upgrading the sps(on behalf of syd water) to prevent overflows to the river, & shall be working near starbug for the next 2 to 3 weeks. my apprentice (oli) found your cache wilst scouting for timber, had us totally confused untill we read the notebook. didnt know this was goin in the world( people sneakin around the bush hiding stuff under rocks).reminds me of when i was a kid doin foxhunts with mates of mine, tracking down radio transmitters with receivers & directional antennas.........ah ..those were the days.
hope we caused no offence by our gifts, butwe felt we should leave things of interest & use.glad to see the tape is already gone.will restock asap.
regards mark & oli team doggy

Found this one but had lots of trouble with the sattelite reception.

Well hidden. I think 1/1 is not exactly the stats for this cache though. I hardly think it's wheelchair accessible.

Good one.

27-Jan-03
Found on our second visit to the area. I really don't know why we didn't see it last time - perhaps the mossies were hiding it. We accidentally left our compass at home and with the electronic compass on the magellan not working I'm surprised we found it so easily this time. Took a small compass keyring (though I'm not sure it will be of any assistance) and left some high bouncing balls. Thanks Red Dwarf.

MOSSIES!!!
EcoNic ran for her life after pausing briefly for a photo with the cache. The mossies really like her blood type!

Glad the SPS was not overflowing!

Nice first cache guys.

18-Jan-03
Luckily for us there was no mossies around just a strange odor that really stunk. Seems to be good fishing as a couple of guys where catching some decent size fish.

Certainly a busy place to be today. We were there just after Tangles and we got eaten alive. Didn't hang around for a swim, we opted for the air conditioning of Westfields. Exchanged nothing.
Nice simple cache, thanks guys.

Hmm. Tangles must have good insect repellant. Plenty of mossies when Hecta & I visited. Hecta had almost given up when I spied the cache.

We took a sea-horse fridge magnet (yay - fridge magnets!) and left Santa and some speech bubble post-it (tm) notes.

A good cache.

Watched some boats go by.

Tricky readings on the GPS had us trampling around the womangroves for a while, but then we remembered a certain kind of weed lurking nearby. Cache was looking a little depleted so we just left some stuff.
Nice hiding Dwarf.

Found this one fairly easy though the sat coverage was a bit dodgy, lots of weeds in this area.

Swappes some chalk for some loaded dice

Good one Red Dwarf

13-Jan-03
Having seen WP1 of World Safari today I understand why Dave Odlids thinks this is an excellent cache. He is obviously a huge fan of Asparagus fern.
For future visitors, take some gloves and pull as much of the noxious weed out of the groud as you can.
A well hidden nice cache container and contents, just try and give the weeds a miss.

What's this 3 new caches in the South on one day, yeah!!!!

An excellent first cache Red Dwarf, one word of warning to anyone visiting soon, nearby to GZ is an electrical equipment enclosure which is UNLOCKED WITH THE DOORS AJAR. There are accessible exposed live electrical connections inside the enclosure. The cache is not inside the enclosure, so don't bother looking inside.
We have informed Sydney Water who have promised to remedy the situation. So keep your kiddies or fingers away from the arky sparkies.

Red Dwarf was not joking about the mossies.
