Found at 12:55 PM GAFF1 in the company of The Morris.Went for a walk with Chad and had lovely chat along the way. At GZ we went for the T1.5 rated location, but nothing was there! Sio we then went looking at a T2.5 should be rated location and there it was - a bit tough to extract as wellThanks to Uni and MedusaFeedback: This cache should be rated as a T 2.5.

10-May-24
We have travelled from Portland Victoria to South Australia and have set up camp with Pprass at the Port Elliot showgrounds. Today we headed to Goolwa collecting some caches along the way. Thanks for contributing to a fun day out Uni and Medusa

The song says it and thats where it is. The magnet is gone so did a little winding job to try and secure cache. TftC

28-Feb-24
Today is day 4 of our SA Great Leap Forward Mega adventure. Based at Goolwa, Mr T, Gooseandegg , Stainless-Steel-Rat and Budgietas concentrated on finding caches with appropriate D/T 's to fill their Fizzy Grids and this was one of them. We signed the log Team Tassie. We found a variety of hides with varying degrees of difficulty.Enjoyed caching in this area, cache and contents were in good condition. Many thanks to all CO's for your cache placement.

27-Feb-24
On our way back from Holey Floats we stopped for this cache and it look quite a bit longer than we thought it would! SSR ecen had a kip (see pic). It was eventually found of course. Thanks Uni and MedusaThe usual trio of myself, stainless steel rat and Budgietas was joined by Tassie Trekkers for The Great Leap Forward trip. We decided to cache down south around Goolwa, Victor Harbour and extended reaches for a few days, before basing ourselves in Glenelg for the second half of the trip where we cached around the city, the hills and the Barossa Valley with a highlight being a couple of hours on Adventure Island. Many thanks to the Mega Committee, all the helpers and many local COs who kept up busy and entertained. Most logs were stamped with Team Tassie.

27-Feb-24
After completing the drive along the beach we relaxed and had a lunch at the accomodation before going out and finding a few more caches. This was one on the pre planned list and a few off the list. A couple of corker caches amount these that will get favourite points. Tftc

03-Feb-24
Spending the weekend down on the Fleurieu Peninsula to take a break from the city. Warm weather but it was enjoyable to explore new places while letting geocaching be my travel guide. I parked my car on Newell Ave and set off on my bike. What a great bike path and a great location to hide a cache. Cache found after getting down low. Thanks for the cache Uni and Medusa.# # SmileSmile #14029 SmileSmile # #

Thanks Uni and Medusa for this cache, in an interesting location. No water or rain today, so a quick find. A lovely day for a walk.

17-Feb-23
Bush bashed my way from ‘Holey Floats’. Arrived bloodied and covered in spider webs, but found it and that’s all that really matters in the end.

24-Dec-22
What an awesome cache! Thanks for hiding it Smile found while walking from Parsons Beach to Goolwa Smile Merry Christmas!

08-Dec-22
Wow this cache will be 20 years old next month!!! Always nice to see some oldies but goodies still about, ( the cache that is not the COs, well they are goodies).
We wandered in from the Goolwa end with the dog who was more interested in the bikes racing past than the cache hunt, nice walk which was quite wind protected by the natural vegetation. We arrived at GZ and decided the advice of go low was very appropriate, so down and in we went, spied quickly as it was moved due to recent rushing water we think. We emptied the cache of water but the log book was only a little damp so w were easily able to sign it. Struggled to reposition the cache where we were guessing it had a spot and off we went.
Thanks Uni and Medusa for the cache. Took nothing, left nothing, emptied water, signed log and replaced.

14-Feb-22
I parked up and made the walk along the trail from the west, after a while I arrived at GZ, with the hint it still took some time to find before really getting under and spotting it. A nicely hidden cache and great to see this oldie still here

Today after doing some family stuff together I had a few hours spare to go caching around the local area. So set off and found roughly 20 caches.

Thanks for the cache

04-Jan-22
Out and about caching around the Fleurieu Peninsula while staying in Victor Harbor on holidays. This cache was one that was found today. After a nice walk along this trail, we arrived at GZ to find the neatly hidden cache. All in good condition here today.

11-Oct-21
Today I headed to VH and surrounds for a caching day.
Visitors coming to stay unexpectedly meant some frantic housework before I could leave home (they probably didn’t even notice ) so my 8.30 departure became 10.30 but there was a curry in the slow cooker and my house was the cleanest it’s been in weeks!
My goal had been to find 45 caches sadly this ended up being only 27 finds and 4 dnfs. Had a mint day out though the coast was looking beautiful and there was so much bird life to be seen.
Had a lovely cake and coffee in Goolwa and was please with my haul.
Super cool hide thanks for keeping this oldie alive once I lay down was able to spot the cache. TFTC

29-Sep-21
Took a little while to find. Great spot. TFTC!

I think this one has been washed away following the storms.

13-Jun-21
Spent some time looking all around and under bridge, could not find it

19-Apr-21
damn. Mr F looked and looked but no luck today.

04-Apr-21
Spent a while on this one and can't believe we didn't find it. I think now, maybe it was behind there or maybe there, however as a difficulty 1 cache that's wheelchair accessible, probably not. Maybe it just wasn't our day.
Thanks anyway Team Unicycle!

Found by The Boofs while out on a walk TFTC . Also had to jump the fence, my arm couldn't reach from the top.

10-Jan-21
Today, jesswrigley and I travelled to Victor Harbor and Goolwa primarily to attend the community celebration event, but also to kayak a few of the island caches. Conditions were forecast to have some swell but minimal wind, and so plans were made in the morning before the winds picked up. Following the lunch event, jesswrigley and I then visited a few miscellaneous geocaches along the coast, finishing up with a muddy wade to another island cache.

This was on my target/bucket list due to its age: A nice oldie 01/2003 hidden cache.
I hadn't realised that it was actually hidden on a walking/bike path, as Google Maps was showing a few roads in that turned out not to exist. So after parking near one of the entrances, we jogged to GZ. At least the cache was a quick find, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Team Unicycle aka. Uni and Medusa for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

20-Dec-20
Had to climb the fence, but where it told us it should be!

02-Dec-20
I was staying in Middleton with a few friends for a couple of days and I really wanted to come and find this cache and the other one that was close by, as I have driven past the general vicinity numerous times but have never stopped to make the walk. [^]
It was a lovely day for a walk and we set off chatting all the way. Arrived at GZ and immediately knew where the cache was going to be and it wasn't long before it was spotted and the log signed. Cool
Thanks for the cache Team Unicycle. Smile

What to do...
Keep On Caching Big Grin

The rain held off while we wandered to GZ...
After a bit of a search the only thing we found was a logbook...
Stamped the book...did not take a container with us so left the logbook on the wood where I found it...

Bit of a brisk walk in today’s bracing weather, but I’m sure the exercise has done me good. Found in a much easier location than where I had been searching. Logbook is slightly damp as is exposed to the elements but is all good. Cache #3042.

20-Jan-19
Both members of brisal went to visit the new mansion of Mogni and then off for a lovely lunch that included an iced chocolate which was not very low cal! Surprised Better go for a walk to make up for that! Cool
We walked to the cache but then couldn't find it. Oh bugger, there is the log on the ground. So over we went and then found the plastic bag, then some more log and then some magnets surrounded by silastic but no actual container. [:(!] But we were able to sign the log, Smile and put everything we could find back into the plastic bag. We hope we put it back in the correct place and have sent a photo to the CO.

**Thanks Uni and Medusa for this cache. ** Big Grin

20-Jan-19
Brisal5 called in for a visit so of course we had to find a couple of caches. Sadly we only found parts of this one. Logbook, a hair clip and a plastic bag and i think a magnet. We wrote our names in the book and have returned as best we could but does need maintenance asap.
Thanks

Third try a charm. Found it today.
You mightn't need to climb the fence if you have Inspector Gadget arms; but I don't, so I did.
Didn't leave or take anything.
Good peaceful spot to sit by yourself.
