This has got to be our favourite cache of all time. The first time I ever met beau, he took me to the Warren and it was the first beach I’ve even visited and it’s still my favourite. The rough drive in with the rough ride to the beach just makes the beach experience better.
I will say the beach itself has lots a lot of sand, slowly being consumed with water and the river is still our favourite spot to swim.
Thanks for putting a cache here, this was the best part of our day TFTC

Took Warren Beach Road down towards gz. Good single file track all the way down. Definitely need to lower tyre pressure to get through the sand even after all the recent rain. Container in good condition - recorded our visit with ILT. Thanks Bitsishin for placing this cache.

20-Aug-21
Beautiful drive into the cache with ricklink. The track was good all the way to the dunes and another 250m or so on sand. We made a quick find once at GZ.
Thanks for the cache barnzy12.

Day 8 our holidays in the south, this cache was on our must do list for our trip…. We had attempted this one from above yesterday, but fallen trees prevented access from this direction so we had a change of plans & decided to tackle this one whilst at the Yeagerups today Big Grin

We got off to an early start, hitting the Yeagerups around 6am so that we could cross the Warren River whilst the tide was out [^] Had an awesome drive getting here, totally missed the turn up the Callcup Hill before backtracking & finding our way here…. We stopped half way up for a few photos, then commenced the journey upwards to the regeneration area south of the cache Cool

A short 150m walk to GZ, the cache was quickly discovered as one would expect…. We enjoyed the adventure of getting here & the good old school cache with a logbook of stories shared Smile

TFTC Bitsumishin [^] Now for some more fun getting back again………

Good to hear it’s still ok. I was beginning to wonder if wandering sand dunes had completely taken over.

26-Apr-20
Drove to the beach via the Summertime track and back up the dunes past this cache. Had to have a second go to get up the hill. Taking the tyres down to 12 psi helped. Can’t believe it’s been nearly four years since the last find. Cache is still in good condition.

Thanks for taking us here. This one has been on the to do list for quite sometime originally looking at it when I was new to geocaching. Today we were able to get here and came in via the summertime track then out this way. The cache is only a short walk off the track out. We were surprised this one hadn’t been found in four years as it was so easy once we got there. Cache container and log is still in good condition considering it’s age.

Found it while spending our holiday around Northcliffe.
About an hour drive from town, not too difficult 4wd tracks.
We did not drive down the dunes in the end, but I think it should have been OK. We parked at the bottom of the rehabilitation area and walked up the last 150m. Cache in good condition.

Found it fairly quickly but the the drive was interesting as we took lots of different tracks. Had to walk the last 150m due to a new a dune conservation area set up. TFTC took TB

Found it. Nearly got lost on the drive in due to following instructions from GPS. Once at GZ quick find after a bit of a hike up the hill. Nice views of sunset from the top. TFTC.

After a trek and a half up the sand dunes we found it! Stunning views! Left travel bug K29FJD, this little guy wants to see the world! His got pretty good views from here!

Was a warm walk up the hill after watching the many people struggle on the hill climb. Not sure why they struggled so much. My little 2.8 patrol managed just fine...2nd low, 10psi and a steady right foot. Great view and easy find. TFTC!

TFTC. Fantastic view Smile As someone previously wrote - cannot drive to GZ (due to fencing for rehabilitation) but nice walk up the sanddune to the cache (my 4 yr old complained she was tired but was excited once we got to the cache Smile ). Container will need replacing soonish - the body is not broken through yet but some plastic on the outside is cracking / breaking and it may not be long before the actual container body breaks. Fantastic drive to the beach through the sanddunes but glad we left the campertrailer back at the campsite as I'm not sure we would've made it back up the hills!

Camped the night at the bottom of this dune in the camping area.
Sat up listening and watching others fail to get up the dune on their first/second/third attempt.
As the night wore on I started to think how hard is it going to be......
First light brekkie, pack up camp and give it a go.......
Low range, second gear, 12 psi full noise.... no worries at all..
160 metre walk up the next dune when the temp was already getting up there was the hardest challenge.
Well worth it for the view

A beautiful track through forest that leads to the cache.
The area of GZ is fenced off due to rehabilitation of the dunes.
The track to the beach was quite a challenge for us especially the part where you want to go back up. I'm lucky that I only nearly got bogged.
Took the TB to move it to a busier cache, as requested Smile
Thanks for making me drive the track and rewarding me with a nice cache - although the paint tin should be replaced as the UV light starts to break down the plastic.

I'd like my trackable moved to a busier cache if anyone is going down this way. Thanks

Its been a long time since my last find (yrs in fact ) but had to get this one even thou had to hike up hill 160 mtr in soft sand (not fit any more lol ) Cache is still in good shape and easy to find just not on a very hot day thats all .TN LN . thanks Mike

Just a note. We were down here over christmas and you can no longer drive up the hill to GZ.
Directly to the right of the track where you come out of the bush has been fenced off with a wire and shadecloth fence, maybe to stop erosion of the dune?
You can still walk up there (though we didn't).

We have wanted to do this one for a while now. But have always come into Yeagarup via Ritter Rd and sometimes not been able to cross the mouth of the Warren.
This gave us a good excuse to take some of our fishing muggle friends up some different tracks and out this way.
Had two nights camping in the dunes and much practice with snatch straps and max tracks - loved it!
No Salmon for us but quite a few herring and tastier fish - smoked and delicately tasted with a combination of wine, beer and whisky!.
Our muggle mates were fascinated by the Geocaching concept and loved the 4x4 driving up this hill and the hunt for this one.
Thanks for bringing us east of the river.

We had a lot of fun finding this one!
Came in from lake Yeagarup and crossed the Warren river mouth.
Was a bit tricky but all went ok, river was quite deep here and there but the defender had no trouble with it.Then nice drive along the beach and up the hill towards the cache.

Dropped TB toyota.

Finally had a chance to get to this one during the annual marroning and fishing trip. Found without too much trouble, spent more time admiring the view than looking at the cache. No swaps, but already looking forward to getting down that way again.

15-Dec-07
Found this log fairly easily. It was nice to have a cache that wasnt under heavy tree cover so we could get an easy GPS fix.
Awesome view. I love this part of the coast.
Took book, left Pocket knife and card.

Found this while staying at Pemberton.
We had to drive in from NorthCliffe on Richardson road.
We first tried Allis road closer to Pemberton, But the bridge is closed. We then drove around for 2 hours to see if we could find an alternative route..
Drove right up to 3 meters from the cache.

Do not see what the big deal is about Callcup hill.
Drove back down to the beach across the Warren River, And out through Yeegerup dunes.
Thanks for the find..

Out for the day doing the Warren beach run picked this one up when we parked on the top of Callcup Hill. Great views. Managed to do the whole trip as the mouth of the Warren River was closed.

Found on 26th March. Nice drive in to really nice place. And the landcuiser really enjoyed it's play in the sand.
Glad this cache is there cause I wouldn't have known how good that area is otherwise.

28-Jan-06
Found after a relatively easy trip from a camp near Sues Bridge with the Perth 4WD Club. It was easier than previous trips due to recent rains making Calcup Hill and other sand dunes firmer than normal at this time of year.

Thanks for the search. T Screwdriver set. L Flourescent pen

3/1/06 - Phew!! Found the cache - Great view so beautiful. No swap, thank you for organise the cache and hunt.

Geocoin and TB - will travel with me.

This one has been on my watchlist ever since we took up Geocaching. Found very easily as paint bucket was sitting right up on the sand. We were staying in Pemberton and decided to take the trip down Callcup when the weather fined up today. Introduced some newbies to Geocaching.

Replaced cache back under the tree. Cache was a little damp so wiped out to dry contents.

T: Nothing
L: Kids soft toy

Thanks Bitsumishin.

Wow it's been a long time since this cache was last found. Just as well we had the cache owner nearby as we needed his shovel to dig it up - actually we found it and he dug it up. His reward.... a Travel Bug.

Found This cache with mad 106 on a trip with our fellow 4x4 club members

Found with the help of the bright red lid. The rim is still sticking out of the sand, though there was a covering of sand in the center of the lid, making only the round red rim visible. We loved the drive to this cache, but because our starter motor was broken, we decided not attempt the drive up the dune itself. Instead, we parked on the track before the dune and walked about 260 mtrs through the bush. T: Beer stein, L: a 1 piece screwdriver set. Great spot, magnificent views. Thanks for the cache and the hunt.

Down playing at Callcup with the Subaru club and checked out your cache. It is in good order with just the rim of the lid exposed in the sand. Did not take anything, just logged our visit.
