In Hong Kong for just over a week and today we headed over to Hong Kong Island. Managed to get down this virtual just before noon, which is certainly the best time to visit.
Great to the ongoings as all was set up for the main event at noon. A few others viewing where a bit surprised at how things went off, but it was certainly a bit of fun to be there.
Answer to the question has been sent to the CO and a photo is also included with my log.
Thanks ooga booga…..a very cool first (and maybe only) cache in HK....

Had a bit of a struggle to find how to cross the road as the clock drew closer to 12. Just as I was starting to give up hope I found the way through the car park of the nearby shopping centre! Certainly got a very loud surprise when I have it up! TFTC
First I could not find my way to the other side of the road but luckily the security agent of the WTC showed me the subway. Umfortunately I was a little bit too late and the gates were close again already. Nevertheless an interesting place to visit.
Thx for the cache and greetings form Switzerland.

On my trip to asia we stayed in Hongkong for one night.
So I woke up very early in the morning to seek this cache.
No muggles and a very interessting place.

Cool place. It took forever how to get over to this spot, meanwhile Mrs. Llama wanted to go shopping, but I really wanted to go over and see this spot. I was lucky that the tunnel was easy to find once we were on that side of the street. I'll email answers tonight. Greetings from Utah, USA and South Korea.
Another virtual cahce on this beautiful day. Quite difficult to get the right place. We stand on the other side of the road and the construction made the access not easy. A bit tired of walking all the day but the cache was so close to let it. Thanks for it.

Had a lovely few days in Hong Kong and it was great to bag some lovely Virtuals which are not so abundant in Ireland. Sadly we missed the firing of the canon by about two minutes and had to content ourselves with hearing it.
Many thanks for the cache.

We hosted a Geocaching Event in Victoria Park this morning and didn’t allow enough time to get to GZ in time for maximum enjoyment but it was a nice quiet spot so we stayed there to eat our picnic lunch.

Visiting Hong Kong for business, before onward travel to Singapore, and I couldn’t resist grabbing a geocache while I am here! I am also trying to fill my calendar, and need to find a geocache for almost every day I am here to finish it!
No mad dogs but only one Englishman today! Having previously failed to find the entrance, and spotting it this morning, I made plans to come down here just before lunch today. After eventually finding myself on floor B1 and not B2, I walked the length of the car park and found the signs I needed. Followed the arrows for a nice quick find, just 4 minutes before the gun was to be fired! Nice to be able to see something that none on my colleagues in the office have seen before, despite living here! The shot took me by surprise as I didn’t expect it to be quite so loud! I didn’t get a selfie here, but I got some other good pics instead
Sent answers to the CO. Took nothing and left nothing. Dipping TBs for mileage. Thanks to ooga booga for hiding.

During our stay to Hongkong we also visited the Noon-day Gun and could solve the task well. It was a bit difficult to get there because of the construction site. The gun was just cleaned.

Team work with Sean & Stacy in summer day, they also found this cache have a long time, and guided me to here to get the answer! When we cross the "confidential" channel, we just found Quieen (a CO from HK) is already to participate a canoeing competition. So funny~ Thanks for the CO & TFTC!
Crossing the road from the excelsior is a real challenge, but I managed and came to my last cache for today: less than expected
But this one was it worth and I don't know why I appreciate this kind of caches

#7646 - 08:35; It was the last morning in Hong Kong before heading for home, so I headed off one last time to collect three caches I'd had on my 'to do' list since we arrived in Wan Chai. I'd passed close by a couple of days ago, but this morning made sure I was on the right side of the busy road. I took a couple of snaps and soon had the required information. ired off a short message to the CO and soon after had the OK to log. Mad Dogs indeed! TTC ooga booga
**This was one of 28 caches that was found by me during the 5th of 8 days in Hong Kong/Macau**
First of all, I would like to mention that this log is written on 14 August 2018. Thus almost 1,5 year after I was here and signed the logbook. And since I will return in the beginning of October it's time to write all logs.
The answers was sent via Meesage center on 2017-03-04.
*When I in late September saw that SAS had an low price offer on an direct flight from Arlanda, Sweden to Hong Kong international I booked an ticket without checking if I would get an vacation from work.*
*Fortunately it was possible to take a few days so I could now start to plan my stay in 2 new geocaching countries.*
*When I was back home I had 49 caches in Macau and 120 in Hong Kong to write "found it"-logs on.*

Had to do this one while in Hong Kong for 24 hours on the way back from Australia to the UK. One of the few locations we managed to visit before the heat and humidity got to much for us. Tftc
Thank you so much for this cache. Without it we would have sat in the cafe and enjoyed our coffee but missed what happens here, we would have been very sad. TFTC
I struggled to work out how to get across the road to this cache. Finally after wandering aimlessly I asked a traffic attendant at the world trade centre and he guided down some stairs, through a carpark and eventually into a subway. That was the hard part! TFTC
I found this cache during a one week stay in Hong Kong. Really an amazing city.

By chance we arrived at GZ at exactly the right time. We have known the song since childhood but had no idea that "in Hong Kong they (do indeed) sound a gong and fire a gun". A memorable moment. TFTC.
Wandered over here from my hotel in time to see the gun being fired. Nearly jumped out of my skin!

Today I had a lot to do. Many different cache types was on the list to find. Started early in Hong Kong and finished late near Aberdeen at a very cosy event among friends. There are of cause two kinds of friends. The one you know and the one you haven't met yet. It was not only me. My muggler wife joined me for the later part of the day.
This was one of the caches I logged today. My founding was sent to CO and he has replied that I had the right information. Thanks for this special cache. Not so many left of this type.

Came out here with some colleagues for a few days in Hong Kong. We took the ferrys and stopped by here along the way. Thanks

This is the fourth virtual by ooga booga that I have found and the 3rd country! I'll have to look for look for your caches in Kansas or Missouri and make it a 4th country!
Thanks for this and all the other fun!
Thanks for this and all the other fun!
That was my target of the day. I tried 5 other caches but did not succeed with any. And for this one unfortunately the gate was closed at a time it was supposed to open. I took pictures of signs and plaques but could not read the date. As i did not receive an answer from my e-mail to the owner, i assume it is ok to log.
I just love virtual caches! Therefor we came to Aberdeen to do this one!
It was an adventure getting there with all the construction and then we ended at the wrong corner. But in the end the got it! Unfortunately we came rather late but the idea behind the thing is awsome!
Thank you so much for showing!

Found this area. A pity the gate was closed. Visited this place together with Sandra_und_Marc.
Visiting Hong kong for some much needed R&R whilst working in Vietnam, nice to meet up with my wife, MrsDragon who had flown out specifically for the holiday It's been a long time since I visited this part of town and I took the opportunity to introduce MrsD to the delights of Causeway Bay and Victoria Park. Things have changed a bit since I first came here! One of the targets I had set for today was to finally turn this cache into a smiley, it's always nice to find an old timer. Many thanks for bringing me here, I had heard about the object of this cache and it's tradition, and it gave me a good reason to be here. TFTC and many thinks for keeping this old cache going. A fave point awarded.
Hong Kong - Macau trip with some finds... Lots of sights, some very nice caches, a bit too many nanos to my taste ... thanks to all the COs.

This cache became our one find of the day, making our last morning in Hong Kong a little bit better. Of course a virtual is often easier to be found, although with this one it takes some time to find the right way to the coordinates. And of course it is all about timing! And we timed it perfectly, since we wanted to know what is going on here at noon. We had no idea about this being here, so this cache is really just what geocaching is all about: taking you to interesting places. We've captured the moment as you can seen in the photo and the answer has been sent.

I couldn't quite fit this one into my schedule at noon so I went by there later in the day. The big obstacle (the 4 lane street) was eventually overcome when I found the correct two footbridges to get me to the waterfront. Unfortunately GZ was closed off, but I could read the signs from outside and look through the fence so I didn't miss too much. Great spot to show off with a cache TFTC!
For me it was more difficult to get there, because of the constructions everywhere. I came from the Renaissance Harbour View Hotel and because of some closed sidewalks I had to do some extra turns. When I finally got there, the major canoon was covered up and the gate nearby locked. However, it was easy to find the missing date and I enjoyed the unexpected adventure. Thank you!
Interesting piece of historie. Quite easy after I managed to cross the road. Thanks for the cache.
At one of my vacations I was on the way to New Zealand for a three-week roundtrip but before I had a stopover for 2 nights in Hong Kong... [^] Totally interesting city full of contrasts and the weather was really varied - unfortunately, because there was fog without end at the peak... But, I had enough time to explore the streets of Hong Kong, and so I also arrived this nice spot...

I found this cache very easyly. Thank you owner for the fast permission to log and the cache. Best regards from Germany.
Came here with a group of guys from the USS Frank Cable. My GPS was acting up while I was in HK, so all I managed to get was a few virtual caches. That's ok, this was actually one of the first things I looked up when I found out we were going to HK! And I never saw a mention of this spot anywhere else other than on here. We tried to show up right at noon, but we could not find our way to the spot in time. We actually wandered out onto a construction site, where we heard the event, then realized we had walked almost right past it without realizing! Oh well. Very neat spot, TFTC!
Last cache before going to the airport. Interresting spot and obviously they shoot every day! TFTC!
Great visit to Hong Kong including a cruise through Victoria Harbour at 8.00pm to see the "Lights Show". Cache logged with permission of the CO.
Found this interesting place with Shaladon. The way to the cache zone was very adventurous. But the way back very easy if you find the tunnel.
My first cache during a recent trip to Hong Kong for a conference. We dont have a lot of tall buildings in Christchurch (especially now) and so caching in Hong Kong was a new challenge. Cheers ooga booga for taking me out here to this place that I never would have visited otherwise. And cheers for the very fast response to my email. Logged with permission.
Found on an epic & great trip around China with Toffee Man.
Like others we had trouble finding the correct way across the road.
Asked the security guard in front of the shopping mall and he lead us to the door way for the tunnel under the road.
Unfortunatly it was not noon , so not only did we not see the item in action, but as it was all locked up we couldn't make out the info on the plaque.
But I am so glad to have seen this, I know of this phrase since I was a child and now because of geocaching I can link it to an actual event and place.
Thanks for bringing us here & TFTC

The rain had stopped so we could approach the GZ with out any issues and it looks like some amount of development going on nearby, but no many people here so we got our answer, pity it wasn't midday but we could hang about more caches to find

Did not come at noon. I am not a mad dog or an Englishman. Frog does rhyme with dog. Mad frogs and Englishmen does not have quite the same Kipling sentiment.
Took ages to cross the road. I got to within 50m and then it went all pear shaped. Eventually I went to the cache via the overpass. Strolled back to the cache and collected the clue. Ah ha. From there I found a much more interesting subway out.

Had a bit of a problem finding a way over to this cache, released after finding it I must have walked past the easy route. This is a great virtual, had a great timeeven with a little rain at the cache site.

Visiting relatives in North Point gave me a spare hour to go caching. The distance showed 2.4 kms and there were no problems approaching from the East, but I can see why others have had issues.
Interestingly my relatives did not know about this place, despite being here their whole lives.

Dad Andrews put me on to this one! He even had the song playing for me on his laptop in the hotel room. Nice spot, close to some good shopping. Good spot to boat watch as well. Didn't get to see the event, but a good and interesting landmark. Will post photos later!
Found by GammaPiSigma at 11:00am.
GPSr reception was a bit dodgy but we managed to work out were we had to go. It appears that the secret tunnel is not marked on all maps. It took a bit of dectective work and asking the right doorman to find it, but when we did it was worth it as it made accessing the cache a lot easier. As yet I haven't been able to work out what anyone would do with that much seawater. Even though this was the 6th trip to HK for Sigma she has never been to this location. We took up a strategic position in a nearby coffee shop with an elevated view of the cache location and stayed for the Midday event, which was worth it.
Thanks ooga booga,

A neat spot, but we didn't find the secret tunnel until we headed back. A nice quirky little spot that we may not have known to visit.
