I'm glad some of the previous finders posted their starting place as Pearce and 43rd. Not being from the area I would have had no idea where to park to start this trek. I made the 3.6 mile round trip in 1 hour and 44 minutes and found 2 others on the way up and another on the way down. This hide was a little tricky but I wasn't going to give up easily after flying out from VA and driving down from Peoria. And I'm glad I brought extra water along with me! Nice hide! L - 2 TBs. T - 3 TBs. TFTC!
I turned my DNF frown from September upside down today. Back then in September I was afraid to look for it because of the possibility of snakes but today I said what the hell and found it quickly. Has to get a favorite for longevity!
I came up the Young Man’s Trail and made it to the area a little before noon. The coords led me true and I was able to locate this oldie relatively quickly. This is a great tucked away area. SL TFTC
