Sorry to Silver Ferns and GEK. Smile has gone. Stopped by on the way home from a dinner and there was no sign of it.
What a nightmare! Finally found the co-ords after getting a decent GPS fix. Searched late, searched early, searched in the middle of the day with no luck.
Either it's gone or I'm not looking carefully enough.

Tried today for our second Melbourne cache while on holiday from S.A. Boy is it hard to get the GPS to work amongst all the tall buildings!
Found the area fairly easily and being early Sun morning all was very quiet, but we could not locate the cache. From the clues, we were certain we knew where it should be but after 30 minutes in the cold we gave up.

Spotted 6:15pm while waiting for group of smokers to leave.
Left nothing, took small bulldog clip.

Nice and quiet on a Sunday. No problems finding the cache or avoiding the camera. Nothing exchanged. Greg and Bev

Just left Harry(found out from Muzza its no longer there .) Arrived here at 0800 no-one around. 5 mins later came up trumps. I love it when I find one of these caches this fast. Considering how long it normally takes me.
Thanks Maccamob another great cache.

No need for covert tactics everyone in Melbourne goes around in thier own world. There was an obvious camera but did anyone spot the others?
Very sneaky hiding spot, especially with watching eyes on all sides and that camera! The smokers all took their time, which made retrieval and replacement difficult - started getting anxious about the car as we'd only found a half hour parking spot! Replaced a large-ish bulldog clip with a smaller one, as it was just a little too big for the container, then bolted for the car before the meter maids could get to it! Thanks for highlighting another city hideaway, Maccamob.
Very first geocache find! Found it earlier in the day today, but there were too many people (especially curious smokers nearby), so had to come back this evening to retrieve when it was quieter. Left a small black paperclip and took nothing. Thanks maccamob!
I know, I know.... when am I going to learn that urban caches surrounded by people are not for me. I failed at Geometry but went after this one anyway. Lost gps signal so I had to base my search on the verbal clues. One person was sitting at a bench and I caught him glancing my way. Thought about asking if he was geocaching because he had that look about him. I saw the camera and made several runs at it in between scans. Couldn't find it and decided to give up. Decided to skip an attempt at Harry. Two no-finds in a row was all I could take.
Found at 8:30pm with Muzza. Muzza had already spotted it by the time we met and allowed me my 10mins to think it through and get it. Apart from a couple of love birds, this Monday night was quiet. It's looks like Maccabob are upping the ante with camouflage and positions. Took nothing, left a glitter-type goldern bird.
Found this one at around 7:45pm while waiting for Alan-san to join me. Left it in place to allow him to hunt for it as well. Eventually retrieved it when he arrived and spotted it. The retrieval was easy - it was a cold Monday night - very few people around and 'Big Brother' wasn't paying much attention to us.
I didn't have anything small enough to fit, so no swap was made. Enjoyable cache. Thanks Maccamob.

Very easy to do on a Saturday. Just one hobo wondering what we were doing. Easy find, easy log.
Ta!

This was my first of 5 caches for the day. I found it at approx 2pm after about a 5 min search. I was able to retrieve 9:15pm....7:15 hrs later. SO hard to retriueve during the day. I visited this site maybe 6 times. Argh. Great work maccamob TNLN
Found 20:30, this must be one of the few urban caches where a little crowd activity is a help rather than a hinderance. At the time of night Biggles Bear visited this cache he did an awful lot of smiling. Luckly the most important part of the evening was screened from his remote audience Took nothing left nothing, thanks Maccamob.
