NOTICE: For those who are looking through the following entries for help are welcome to do so but please understand that some of the photographs are extremely revealing. Part of the joy of this cache - at least what I conceived when I created it - was to let you learn and discover as you go. I love seeing the pictures of groups finding this cache. Just use discretion when viewing them before attempting the cache.
I hope you continue to enjoy this one. It should survive for a long time!

Alls I have to say is WOW..for a cache that has been here for the last 8 years..and the last to find was a little over a YEAR ago..I'm certainly impressed! Like sherbear said, we try to get in a caching hike in every weekend, and have been super successful thus far.
I'd done *some* research, read everyone's logs and kinda had an idea of what we were looking for and came prepared with my greek alphabet and chalk. Fortunately Jimp59 decides to be an "honorary" Duck Hunter for the day and we are more than RELIEVED that he's joining us, or we'd still be hiking in! He saves us by shaving a good 30 minutes off our hike and takes us in his geojeep through the off-roading course. We get to puzzle number one and HOLY CHRISTMAS which one IS THE RIGHT ROCK!? Good thing we brought a BOX of chalk, or we'd be hiking back for more! Jimp helps us to the correct carving and in no time at all we got the coords to stage 2.
Stage 2: you want us to go WHERE?! [xx(] okey...we get there and in no time at all have the coords to Stage 3. But uhm...GPS says its about .5 away *crappers* But we suit up and start to go on our way...we were READY for this! Luckily again, jimp is there and says..."POINT FIVE AWAY! uhm...no check your puzzle again". We go over the carving again and *whoops* misread one TINY little number. We recheck our coords and .2 now. Okay. SAFE!
Stage 3: We get closer and I remember from someone's log saying rock formation...okaaaay rock formation, rock formation...*crap* passed a BUNCH of ROCKS...what exactly constitutes a rock FORMATION!? I point to a bunch of rocks on the other end of a patch of trees and stargazer literally prances over to them (I'm stuck with an aching knee and the tylenol hasn't kick in yet) and she calls over to us that she's got something...we get there and OH..rock formation! I get it!
WOOHOO! On to the FINAL! oh man...*crap squared* we have to go WHERE??! So I'm singing along to whatever song pops in my head and are too busy following everyone in front of me that I don't realize we are now chest high in sword grass....I think I got stung! *ouch* The evil trail is now paved by rocket in front followed by josh and me then the rest bringing up the rear. All of the sudden rocket stops.."guys I'm two feet from it." I screech to a halt...are you SURE? cuz alls I see is SAKATI (sword grass)! Then again, I'm short so that's all I EVER SEE! Stargazer finds the decoy...and two seconds laters I see the cache! YAY!!!
The cache is in excellent condition for not having been found for a year. We sign the log, take pictures, and of COURSE leave a rubber duckie marking our presence!
Thanks again for the adventure and extra thanks to jimp59 for being our awesome tour guide (having done this 4 times already!). It was an awesome adventure and if any future cachers want to attempt this one again, I will surely repay the favor and come along for the fun! Oh ya, blygoat posted that he and his group he brought out completed the entire run in 2.5 hours. We Duck Hunters certainly anticipated being at least 6 hours out here *we ALWAYS get sidetracked, nai*...we'd found the cache in about 2.5 hours but took about another 45 minutes to get back out. Totally lucky for us (given the terrain) that it started to rain as we were LEAVING! There was no way we could've done this in the rain or if it had rained right before we left.

P.S. One thing I learned from this area today: pretty rocks = dangggger! (pretty rocks are the colors of the clay, not very fun sliding on your butt in!)

This was one extreme hike, as a non hiker, this was pretty challenging. It’s not like hiking up Mt. Lamlam or Traza Falls, it’s pretty steep but more cooling than going to Pagat caves.
Thanks to Jim, he made our journey a little easier by offering to shuttle us in as far as he could in his jeep. I have to say that I loved his jeep, it’s a true official Geocach mobile, to include the sticker, “I’m not lost, I’m Geocaching.” Anyway, Sher_Bear, sannnROX, 671stargazer, Rocket, jimp59, Sherry’s co-workers, and I made this journey.
I have a lot of thanks to offer Jim, for guiding us as we looked for clues, and putting up with our shenanigans. I think if he wasn’t there, we would have been lost and have had to hike up hills to second check out coordinates and all.
Overall the hike went well. You should bring chalk to outline the clues. I suggest wearing proper attire, because I was all cut from the sakate and bringing lots of water. Also don’t go after it rained the night before, because I slipped a few times, if the colors on the rock look pretty it usually means it’s dangerous.
I think Jim had a good time too, he finally got to see the true colors and personalities of the Duck Hunters, than to read and imagine our stories on his logs. Therefore we inducted him to our team.
THANKS JIM.

The Hidden Valley Odyssey never lets me down....It really is a fun adventure. And to make it even more fun, all you need to do is hook up with Team Duck Hunters (Sher_bear, SannnRox, iJosh, 671Stargazer, Rocket671) for an unbelievable exciting day of caching. Sher_bear also brought some of her co-workers John and Tom and I'm sure they had a great time.. I joined the Duck Hunters today just in case they needed help but they pretty much did everthing on their own. They are wild, crazy and totally fun. I would go hiking anywhere with them. Congratulations on completing the Odyssey. I look forward to our next adventure. Thanks. JIMP59 (GUAM)

First on the list...we would like to thank JIMP59 for guiding us on this cache hike. You are the bestest! Now...on to my mini story...
We the duck hunters have been trying to get at least one hike in every week. Each time, i always find myself saying "What did i GET myself into!?!" hehe...The things we do for a cache. This cache was the most interesting one I've seen so far. The rocks and trails were awesome! We came across "pretty" dirt...also known as clay. 3 is the number of times my gluteus maximus met the clay. =D No harm done physically...my pride was the only thing that suffered. All in all...top day/hike! I loved every moment of it.
TFTC,
Sherbear

Found on a great day for caching with Jimp59, Bug B and Krittur.
This was a really well done multi! We stopped and found stage one on the way to Tenjo's Signature Nook, then completed the odyssey on the return. I enjoyed deciphering all the codes! I was armed with the Greek Alphabet and Blygoat's corrections. The final was indeed a triumph, and just look at the jeep way, way over there on the other hill!!! Where is that darn helicopter when I need it???
Fantastic and challenging fun!

PS: Found Blygoat's decoy too.

Found it!!! Oh my, was this fun! It only took two trips. Stage two was the stage that slowed us down! One lesson learned is that research (log history) will help big time. Mrs. Rom10v9 did all the mental work and me and our geo buddy followed along for photo ops and playing in the mud. The fun part was leaving stage two; we pretended that we were billy goats and paid no attention to the easier paths, and that it is really easy to loose sight of family members in 6 foot tall grass. TFTC and the photo ops.
Bug B,
Wonderful pictures! Thanks for adding to the cache with those shots. I'm glad you enjoyed the experience!! Man, I miss Guam!!!

Went with Curtz311 and miriamjoabwest on this one. This is one of my favorite caches on Guam due to the nature of the cache. It took Curtz and miriam only 30 minutes to solve the first clue while I was relaxing on a nearby boulder eating my granola bar! Using their coordinates, we went on to find the second clue. It was then that we discovered that one of their coordinates were just a bit off. Got it corrected and then used a hint from my first log to find the second clue. From there, it was smooth sailing! Finished the entire odyssey from start to finish in 2 hours and 25 minutes. Kudos to Curtz and miriam for figuring out the first clue on their own!

The last time I was here with l0009565, we found the cache in a plastic container. I had mentioned that the next time I was in the area, I would replace it with an ammo can. So today, after we did Sherman's Last Stand, Zoonr, West and I went to change out this cache. Had an ammo can ready and went to the cache site. Zooner and West both had GPS units and all at once, they both said "I found it!" Zooner had found the plastic container that we had found before and West had found the ammo can that was about 5 feet away! So I took everything out of the plastic container and put it in the ammo can. I couldn't believe that there were two cache containers so near to each other! And yes, I had to carry my ammo can all the way back!

[Woohoo! l0009565 and I finally found this one today! We tried this one a week ago with Marlocats, Mrs. Blygoat, Mrs. l0009565 and two newbies. We were able to decipher the first clue but after a few hours, were not able to find the second clue. Thanks to storm 104, we were able to find the second clue today and eventually find the cache. The reason we couldn't find the second clue in the beginning is because the coordinates are actually 74 feet off. Since we can't change the first clue, here's a hint to make it easier to find the second one. Once you decipher the first clue,]subtract .004' from the North coordinates and subtract .012' from the East coordinates. [This will take you straight to the second clue. Both the second and third clues are spot on. You might want to bring some chalk with you so that you can use it to see the 1st and 2nd clues better. It's amazing that all of the clues are in excellent shape and have stood up well in the weather! A good idea is to follow the roads and paths. They may seem longer but it sure beats bushwacking. Also, it is better to park near the water tank at N13 26.185, E144 42.504 and follow the road that leads to the right, not straight ahead. The water tank becomes your landmark on the way back from the cache. I'll try to arrange to have the container changed to an ammo box the next time we, or someone else goes. The plastic bottle is still holding up but has seen better days. Hopefully, more will try to find this cache in the near future! It is definitely worth the challange. TFTM-C
