We had a day visit to Mykonos aboard the Oosterdam and took a stroll around the town.

We fell in love with Mykonos with all the white houses, paved laneways and great shops.

Of course, it would not have been complete without a visit to Little Venice and the Windmills.

In the first day in Mykonos, i hade do make this cache because maybe is the only one that i'll make.

We arrived yesterday in Mykonos. We enjoyed the sunset on a nearby beach - it was gorgeous ! - and after, even if the night had fallen, we could not resist coming to see the famous windmills.
Even by night the site is fantastic !

Nous sommes arrivés hier à Mykonos et avons admiré le coucher su soleil depuis une plage voisine - c'était splendide ! - et ensuite, meme si entre temps la nuit était tombée, nous n'avons pas résisté au plaisir de venir voir les célèbres moulins.
Même de nuit le site est fantastique !

Der letzte Cache auf unserer Reise. Und ein so schöner dazu! Mykonos-Stadt ist schon ein echter Blickfang (und wir konnten es am Vorabend sogar im Regen erleben ...).

Last Cache on our cruise. What a beautiful one. Mykonos-city is a real eye-catcher (and we could experience it in the rain the evening before ...).

In port today off the ms Westerdam. Took the sea bus to town and had a very pleasant walk through the narrow streets with the many shops. We saw Pelican Pete near the water front and enjoyed a cold beer after the cache find. Thanks for placing this cache. Goshhawk St Charles Missouri USA

Der Urlaub war schon lange gebucht. Eine Kreuzfahrt wurde es und wir haben auch an diesem Ort angelegt. Ein paar Caches an den jeweiligen Orten sollten auch gefunden werden. Der Hafen liegt etwas ausserhalb der Stadt. Ich holte meine Sportkleidung raus und absolvierte eine 7km Joggingrunde rund um die Windmühlen. Ein toller Ort. Tftc

Im Rahmen eines Ausflugs sind wir an den berühmten Windmühlen vorbei gekommen und haben dem Owner auch gleich das gewünschte Foto geschickt. Toll sehen sie aus, wie sie dort so im Wind aufs Meer blicken die Windmühlen.

We arrived in Mykonos today on our magnificent cruise ship the Celebrity Silhouette and what a lovely place it is too. It seems that all the buildings are repainted every April which gives the whole town a lovely fresh feel; even the streets have a lot of white paint. We enjoyed the windmills and lovely views from ground zero so thanks to Hunting Hoffmans for bringing us here. I do like virtual caches too!

Beautiful Even at night. Our excursion tour brought us here and we received detailed info on how the windmills works and were tended to.

Today we came by ship and visited the city of Mykonos and its windmills on our own. Nice place with great views but very crowded with muggles. TFTC

Not a great view today due to low clouds and drizzle. Pete was no problem as he was in town trying to get a feed at a local Taverna.

Nice pleaasent day in this nice little town. Had a good walk around and saw quite a few things. Partook in the local beer as well. I think It's a rule to have some of the native beers at every country.
Took plenty of photos at the GZ.
