Staying at the holiday park, we had a wander up the beach. Spotted very quickly. TFTC
On our trip through New Zealand today we looked for geocaches near Kaeo. Luckily we found a nice spot to take a few home with us. Thank you very much to CO for laying this cache. With warm geocach greetings from the Netherlands
Awesome that the cache has been replaced and is in good shape. Thanks for doing so. Great area to visit and explore Thanks for the cache.
Il semblerait que la boîte est disparu. J'ai retrouvé ce qui semblerait être son attache. Une vérification est à faire ici...
It looks like the box is missing. I found what appears to be his tether. Check here...

Searched high and low. King tides may have taken it? Will try when next up this way
Decided to come up here and grab a few caches today. This was the last one the list before heading home. Pulled up near to GZ - a lot of campers and day visitors set up around the place. Headed to GZ while the rest of the family were taking photos nearby. Scrambled down to GZ. Made a quick find. Signed and replaced and headed back up. TFTC
Can finally turn this suckered into a smiley. Last few attempts were dnf. Thanks for replacing it. Got this for international geocaching day. TFTC
It was missing so have replaced it and moved it to a higher ground. Accessible at all tides now.

With several dnf's since 2020 by experienced cachers, I very much doubt the found log on 20th Feb 2022 is genuine.....
Especially when the cacher only has 14 finds, and all of them were found on the same day, with half of them in the South Island and the others half around Northland .... ?????
Yeah right...

Waded though the water but no avail. We searched every nook we could see, climbed a bit, but no luck. Will try again if the owner updates
Up in Mahinepua for a three day break. Fantastic weather and made a side trip out here to Tauranga Bay to explore.
At GZ managed to get a zero metres reading on the phone, but unfortunately, no cache. I'm a bit late doing my logging and I see it has already been disabled, so no doubt the CO will have it on his future maintenance list.
Thx for bringing me to this nice spot anyway.

Poked and prodded in the obvious nook bit no cache to hand. Even did some rock climbing to no avail.
Decided today and get three caches today. We thought this one was going to be the easiest as it was found recently. The other two we were going for hadn't been found in years. Searched this area twice but could not locate. One more too go for today, I hope we find it as an not looking forward to 3 dnf
I took the kids dog and friends to this one. It's so close and yet so far. It was cold real cold but the sun was out so we waded in. Quick find in the end. Nice to see restoration of the wetlands and bird communities. Tftc
This one we actually found ages ago but great find ! Took a while but it was worth it TYSM
Has a cool spot awesome view of ocean didn't take photo phone was going flat so managed to get in a quick find
New Zealand we are back again.
Hoping to find some caches at secret or interesting locations we visited today Kerikeri and the coast.
This one we reached barfoodly, it was challanging.

Beautiful location. I found this cache during my Irish summer holidays. Thanks for the Cache .
Had to wait till the next day to find the cache since it was high tide when we arrived there and I wasn't planning on going for a swim Good thing that we were staying at the campsite overnight. TFTC!
Today was the fifth day of our trip to the Bay of Islands region. After having a nice breakfast we set of heading north along the tourist drive. After visiting the Rainbow Warrior memorial at Matauri Bay we picked up the cache at the intersection leading to Matauri Bay. Before continueing along the tourist drive till we reached the beache at Te Ngaere to stop for a few minuets to relaxe. Continueing our journey along the tourist drive we stopped at the Letterbox-Hybride. We drove to Tauranga Bay to collect this cache. Not knowing what the tide would be I got more wet than I would have liked to get with the water level raising quiet quickly during my search for the cache. Signed the log and quickly replaced as found. Tftc.
This is our first. Great fun for the kids. Thanks for hiding it in such a great part of the country.
Such a beautiful beach and area... haven’t been here before but family now have a house here so no doubt we will be here more often. Cache all good and safe in its hidey spot.... mr tikitour managed to fall in the water on the way over !!! thanks for the cache
Spent the afternoon with friends here and wandered down to collect this one before leaving. Got quite wet but it was a hot day so we didn't mind. I love this beach - it's stunning. TFTC!
Made it across the creek with dry feet but the tide was coming in quicker than expected, so I didn’t make it back with dry feet. However, the cache was quickly discovered and logbook signed. Got some good sunset photos to cap off a nice walk along the beach. TFTC
Absolutely stunning location. Up here for a few days from Tauranga in the BOP. Cache found easily; all nice and dry. Many thanks for the placement. Cheers
There has been a bit of a slip in this area due to the New Year storm so doubtful the cache is still accessible - may need maintenance.
First find for 2018. Stunning spot! Pretty easy to find - def do at low tide. TFTC
I found this cache together with my partner, Pityulino, during our holiday in New Zealand. Today we visited Cape Reinga and also searched for caches under the way and in the area. What a marvelous place this was. Stunning. Despite of the great weather we were almost alone on the beach. We headed for the cache location, but after a time we had to get rid of our shoes and cross the small stream. We found the cache easily and in good condition. We logged and left quickly not to disturb the local birds around us. Greetings from Hungary!
Thanks brownie52, it was nice to meet you too!
Gracias por esconder! TFTC

Found this cache in a trip to Northland with family during the school holidays. Was a great 2 weeks enjoying the locations & the geocaches of Northland. Greetings from Nelson. found it easily from the motor camp. nothing damaged here as it has many good tradables. find #84
Had been left exposed onthe sand so hid it better under rock and a stick.
Beautiful day so going for a swim.

An der Tautanga Bay genossen wir zwei weitere Tage die Sonne und das Meer. Bei einem gemütlichen Spaziergang loggten wir diese Büx. TFTC

Currently rebuilding as cache went missing again. Suspect juvenile muggles may know of location.
Expect to reinstate by end of weekend 13th Dec.

What a pity, tide was too high!! or legs weren't long enough.
Just started getting my shorts wet, so gave up.
We were dive -bombed by Oyster Catchers on the way along the beach.
Saw a nest outside the fenced off area. Birds obviously can't read.

Think this has succumbed to very high seas. Have found this on numerous occasions before but not today .
Despite notes on my other caches about shutting down, this one will remain active and maintained.
Fantastic afternoon at a sunny & hot Tauranga Bay. No muggles around due to high tide. Had fun crossing the stream to and from gz with the waves rolling through. Kiwiscot had the right idea and swam but Kiwi needed to keep the phone dry. On the way back Kiwiscot got sweep upstream much to her delight. May have recorded the day be-fore's date in physical log. TFTC
spent some time looking, had low tide so didn't get wet, nice hide, hadn't been visited for a while
we tried to get it at Easter with my phone but too many muggles were passing by and we had to give up. Now i have a proper GPS and it still got me in the wrong spot. So we decided to follow the hint and sure enough we found it. this is the perfect cache to initiate new friends to the game: big enough, easy enough and yet not on a main route. tftc
