Out doing a bit of night caching and couldn't resist grabbing an oldie. Another square of the jasmer grid complete. Cache found, log signed and returned as found
SL at 10:35am after getting the nearby cache Step by Step. Parked at the start of Tower Road and kept to the road. Now back to the carbush bash?? Yep.TFTC, these are great one for locals that just want a good bush walk.Edit: back to the car by 11. Created a T3.5 by going back through the bush north but it certainly saved time.
Bit of an impromptu decision to go for a drive around the Warbies with Byker152 collecting a few caches around Killawarra and then higher into the Warbies. Great day ticking a few tricky ones off the list. A hot day to be climbing hills, and the temp made this one feel steeper than it was! An awesome view once at GZ. TFTC!
Out and about today exploring the Warby Ranges. Hey, Muzza finally got one of your caches. What an amazing place, the views are spectacular. All good here. Now onto the next one for the day. TFTC
Couldn’t find it wondering if a tree fell on it but we will keep looking Ps happy Father’s Day
The lovely spring weather enticed us for a drive to the Northern end of the Warby's, an area of the Warby's we have not explored before...
Normally wary of snakes this time of the year, we were more focused on the mozzies bombarding us, obviously due to the recent rains
Kill A What? How about a gazillion mozzies, not even Mr Bushman could provide ample protection !!!
Mozzies aside, it was a great walk, top spot for a cache placement

What a lovely walk to start our day. Last night we pitched the tent at Forest Camp and made the short drive to the trail head first thing. (Thanks for the WP.)
The forest understory along the walking track is awash with yellow flowers at the moment - very pretty. Onwards up the gentle slope we went and pretty soon we were at the top, only seeing one wallaby bit a ‘zillion’ birds along the trail. We soaked in the views for a while then made our way to the cache. Love these old log books and reading the adventures of early cachers. We left our mark too and while we sat at GZ thought this is what caching is about for us… takes us to ‘special’ places we wouldn’t normally know about or get to otherwise.
Thank you muzza We thoroughly enjoyed the walk and finding your cache this morning.

Wow, talk about a great area to come out and explore and also a grand old hide all the way back to 2003. I have been out to the Warbies many times over the past couple of years since moving up the road along the Murray River and this is certainly my favourite area to come out and explore when l get a chance. This one was another enjoyable walk through this remote part of the bush besides a few wallabies that weren't keen to hang about and see what l was up to. The Wattles are starting to come out in flower and even some small orchids were on show which made for a pleasant stroll out to the gz and l made a quick search around and quickly came up with the cache. Many thanks Muzza for the hide and for highlighting this remarkable spot. Cache and contents were all in good order.

Find #11155
This was another of the first 500 active caches in Victoria i was chasing this Christmas.
Found old container first. Broken, no contents. Have disposed of the rubbish.

Good find. Dummy cache may need to be replaced however as lid is broken. Big walk to get here and lots of rocks
Giving this one a favourite for a couple of reasons...
- Great waypoint parking..
- Easy walk in to cache which i needed at this point of day...
- Decoy made for clever hide...
- Relatively quick and easy hide...
- Plus my first find for the day as Gatman90 found the last 3!

There are probably 2 people I need to thank for this smiley.
First of course is the CO for inticing me up here by placing this old cache in such a magestic location. Kill a what? Killa views that's what. Thanks Muzza.
Secondly I think I need to thank the previous finder for making my task so much easier. I didn't read your log till I came to write my own but clearly you had a much harder time of it as I found the cache quickly and easily having been returned to its correct location. Thanks (and happy birthday) Day.
The added bonus is that this cache fills another hole in my Jasmer grid (attempting to find a cache hidden in each month of geocaching history).
The cache itself was found and returned in excellent condition however the decoy may have seen better days.
Again TFTC.
Fav point added.

OMG, where do I start with this one.
Well, we parked the car and we enjoyed a nice meander up the very slight hill. Arrived at the top car park and then wondered off down to where the phone was pointing us.
Pretty soon after that I found a clip top container and though oh good.
But no, its a decoy.
Oh, how cute I thought (at the time).
There was a note inside the decoy saying the real cache wasn't too far away.
So we continued searching...
and searching...
and searching....
and didn't find it.
Fortunately I know the CO, who I messaged and who promptly returned a photo showing where the decoy had been placed and where the real cache was placed in relation to the decoy, less than 2 feet away.
The place I found the decoy matched the photo perfectly, but there was no real cache in the place indicated.
Now, normally I might consider it gone. Except my good friend biggles1024 said that in April he had found the cache, complete with original log book. So I rang him and he indicated that he never found a decoy, but definitely found the original cache.
Something fishy is going on here and I guess over 16 years you might expect some cache creep. So I set about looking for the real cache, but knowing it could be up to 20 meters away without an indication of which direction it would be and with a multitude of places to hide the cache, it was no easy task. Finally though after about 40 minutes I found the container, with the original log book, about 15-20 meters away from the decoy and the real co ordinates.
How it got there remains a mystery, but my hunch is that TeamTommo came across the real cache after it had somehow been dislodged from its hidey hole and she found it out in the open. She obviously didn't know about the decoy, but placed the cache back where she thought it should be.
A lengthy conversation with Muzza revealed exactly where the actual cache should be, and where the decoy should be and so they have both now been placed back in their intended positions.
The walk back to the car is infinitely more enjoyable when you have found the geocache.

**Traditional Cache Find #2353**
I headed up to Mulwala today for a short break. I was also intending on finding caches that would help me qualify for a number of challenge caches that I've been working towards for quite some time. I selected this cache because it would fill the July, 2003 square on my Finds by Placed Date grid. I was surprised to see the CO's name. You sure get around, Murray. I drove to within around 1.2km of GZ and found a locked gate so I had to walk in from there. It was an easy walk along a well formed track. The view was fantastic! You've picked a great spot, Muzza. I was heading towards the spot my GPS indicated and was still around 11m away when I glanced down and saw the cache. I love old caches and when such a cache contains the original log, that is the icing on the cake. Lots of famous names in there and some interesting tales too. A favourite point from me.

This is our fourth trip to the northern island this year. The first three were primarily for family events but with some opportunities to do some caching along the way. The fourth trip is different as caching is our focus. After getting off The Spirit of Tasmania we are heading north to cache at Wangaratta and then Yass before heading into the ACT and Queanbeyan for a week. After that we will travel to Jindabyne for a few days with summiting Mount Kosciuszko being our main target for this part of our trip. Then we will visit Cooma and Tumut before heading back down the track through Wangaratta and Mansfield as we make our way to Alexandra for the MEGA. After the weekend we will continue to make our way south and back onto the Spirit of Tasmania for the “drive” across Bass Strait. We are really looking forward to three weeks of intense caching in great areas and, hopefully, catching up with some geocachers in each of the areas we will visit.
After staying in Corowa overnight, we headed over the border into Victoria. Our first task was to visit another waypoint of a multi which started in Canberra. Then we visited a section of the Warby-Ovens National Park to locate a trig point which was required to meet another step on the GCA Local Government Area (LGA) Trophy Challenge. Whilst there heavy rain started and much of the walk to and from the Trig Point was in the poor conditions. There were three GCA caches closeby and we took the opportunity to look for those. Then we headed back to Rutherglen to look for another trig point before going to Wangaratta for lunch. We took the opportunity to look for a small number of caches in Wangaratta. With the rain persisting, we then headed south towards Whitford looking for caches in the Spirit of Salts series. At times we sat in the car on the side of the road because the rain was just too heavy. From Whitford we continued south through the hills and finally arrived at Mansfield where we stayed the night. By now the rain had stopped. We checked into the motel straight away so that we could get out of our wet clothes. Despite the inclement weather, we still managed a reasonable days caching.
This was one of the caches that we looked for whilst in a section of the Warby-Ovens National Park. After locating the trig point, we went to look for this cache. After a short hunt in the immediate area of GZ we saw something interesting. However we were disappointed as closer investigation revealed that it was the decoy cache. We continued our search. We were becoming a little despondent for after 20 minutes in the heavy rain, we still hadn't located the real cache. We were about to call it quits when one of us noticed something less obvious but still interesting. Closer investigation revealed the cache - finally!! The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Muzza for the cache. Unfortunately the weather conditions severely limited the views in any direction. Hopefully someday our travels will bring us back this way in better weather conditions so that we can appreciate the views.
***** We are currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. On 1 September 2017 our average was 86 which seems close to the 100 target. However given that we have found so many GC caches, we have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get our average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that we can strive to attain this challenge. After 408 caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 97.0. We are now entertaining the possibility that we might be able to achieve our gaol before this trip ends. Progress has been better than anticipated.*****

While staying in the lovely Glenrowan Tourist Park nearby we headed into the Warby-Ovens National Park to see the sights and maybe grab a few caches.
The day had heated up quite a bit by the time we walked to GZ so kind Geohubby offered to search for the cache while I rested my bung knee. He spent quite a while at GZ but eventually reappeared, but empty handed and very hot.
At least we were able to log the nearby Trig Point
Many thanks for the hide anyway Muzza....we are sure the cache is probably still there but we just needed to cool down a little and head back to the air conditioning. [^]

With the afternoon looking fine I took an opportunity to head into the Warby's again to do some more exploring. I had a few caches in mind for the area I was going to as well. A great day out was had!
Found @5.20pm Just after sunset.
I decided to take the short walk to GZ and see if I could finish the day with a sunset. I arrived bang on and decided to grab a few pics first before looking for the cache.
Once I'd got my photo fill it was time to search. I'm happy to report that I found the cache(s) and my name is recorded in the book!

Husband, son, and father found this one. I stopped half way there and enjoyed the view. Father decided to go against listed details and walk over 2 rocky hills instead of the gentle path. Signed jampb and Max. Sad I didn't get to see the cache but son enjoyed himself.
Didnt follow the track cause Becstar thought she new where the track was. My guess it was a kangaroo track. After abeling through thick scrub we came across the well worn track at the top of the hill. Will definitely be following the track back to the car. Found the dummy cach too
Took the scenic route to find this one, bit of bush bashing never hurts. Found the dummy cache, then found the real cache. Took TB coin to move it along. Then took the actual well worn track back to the car lol
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.

Knowing is was going to be 'home' for Easter I scouted around for some quality caches to do this one came up with some unlove on it and looked like something GeoGranni and the geo children could join in on. I'm familiar with the Mt. Bruno end of the Warbys but not this area, we came in from Boorahman and across. The walk was great. I climbed down to make the find while leaving GeoGranni (nearly 70) and Geo children (3) & (6) to enjoy the area.
I found what I though was the cache quickly - wasn't the cache - Gosh darn ... Searching, searching.... Hmm maybe it got hurt/melted in the fire as everything is black around here....searching....searching...Gro daughter had a fall, my head was pounding (and throat burning - on the tail end of tonsillitis) searching... Searching... Hey what's that ALL the way over there out in the open... Bloody hell it's the cache! Shouldn't be there? Cache Creep? Animals? Muggle? Who knows. I enjoyed flicking back through the log book and reading the logs, I noticed some discrepancies that I have decided to leave alone as in worrying about that I may or may not have forgotten to actually leave our mark on the log...Gosh Darn... I have included a photo of the log book as proof I was there and messaged the CO regarding placement and log.
The cache is now under some rocks within 1.5 meters of GZ according to my equipment. Closer than the 30 meters away I found it.
TFTC Muzza you always take us on a decent adventure TNLN TBV

Did TeamThommo just drag her nearly 70 year old mum up there? She didn't drag me I practically ran! It wasn't that steep a great adventure lots to see and do TFTC SL TNLN TBV
I went in search of a What to kill, what-ever that may be , but did not sight one. Lovely walk but a bit on the hot side today. The band aid protecting my badge of honour blister, gained caching a couple of days ago unfortunately came adrift when the sweat unstuck it which made the walk a tad uncomfortable. Great views from the top even if slightly smokey. I was planning to drop a TB, but as I was the first visitor in 7 months decided to only visit it. Loved the quirky end to this cache Thanks Muzza
Well hidden and loved the false cache. A great location with a fantastic view.
# 2842. Making a concerted attack on some Warby Range caches today, riding and walking with Robmc. This was the northern-most one we did and was first cab off the rank. We jumped on the bikes to get to this one and had a pleasant ride. Great views to be had at GZ and a relatively quick find thanks to the hint. TFTC muzza.
It was a great walk in or up to this one today as it was cold and we got a good warm up. Followed a track then headed bush up to GZ. Didn't take long to find, liked the little twist at the end. Fantastic view from up here, thanks for taking us there muzza...
Thought I'd better knock this one off in my old orienteering stamping-ground. Magnificent views. Loved the decoy! TNLN TFTC

Found this afternoon. It was a lovely walk on a lovely day, werent the views from all round GZ just fantastic!! My son and his friend came with me on this little walk and we really enjoyed it.I let the boys make the find and they where over joyed to make as quick find bringing it over to me only to find it was a decoy, the real cache was soon located.

Decided to attack GZ by direct line. Very invigorating walk came up with muggle friend and his nephew. Friend found both dummy and real cache, putting me to shame! I didn't come prepared with swaps, but took paratrooper to reward young nephew for making it up the hill. TFTC!

This was such a good walk from the suggested paarking area with spring growth and blue skies.
There was even water on the track to be stepped around.
Robmc accompanied me even though he had been this way before.
The last great vantage point on the Warby's with views stretching forever.
Tricked momentarily at GZ but I guess others have been too.
Always great to do a Muzza cache
Thanks

Well it was a weekend of wild weather here in the north east, we were kicking around home when Co said " Lets do Killawat". Pheeeew, dont have to ask me twice, so off we went, was a nice quick find once we got through the closed roads due to the floods.
Nice to have this one of the list, we have been meaning to do this one for a while now, very nice walk on a wet weekend, with top views at the end, a top spot for a cache.
Many Thanks Muzza for bring us here......................Cheers.

Found at 1pm. An easier walk than to "that wasn't too far". After the wind and rain we have had in the last couple of weeks the track was not quite as well defined, but still a pleasant walk. Happy to sit down and have a snack when we found this one. TN. Left: Otway Fly token. Lady Jane TB visited this location, so we took some photos of her rock climbing. We are keeping Lady Jane with us to show her a few more sights of NE Victoria. TFTC.
Another cache in my backyard and now it's done so what am I going to do now! Oh well just have to drive more I guess. Nice walk and views! Thanks indeed Muzza.
A really nice walk to the top. A lot gentler slope than I was expecting.
Thanks for the information about the starting location.
(fyi: the co-ords at the turn off are 36 15.530 146 11.101)
Thanks, Robmc.

Had been orienteering here over two days and had to wait for the event to finish before setting off. Even had a control not too far from GZ. Bit of a surprise, but followed by quick success. Impressive rocks around here TFTC.
Came here on 1/10 but was warned off the area by orienteering organisers who were anxious to protect the rocks from my presence. Undeterred I came backagain on Sunday and stomped up the hill in the company of the sure footed IRAC- (who had far superior footwear). What's with the twist? Never seen such a thing before [:0] Left magnet TN. TFTC and the cance to admire massive boulders yet again!
After running all over these hills orienteering I didn't really enjoy slogging up to the top again (I got my money's worth earlier!! One day I'll learn how to read a map properly!!) but I did enjoy the little extra at the end.
Good one. Thanks

To a Killer cache we go high ho. Eventually found when the GPS stoped having a fit. We also didnt come up the easy trail!!!! All in all a great one to tick off the list. Exchanged a few. TFTC. Cheers Mallouby
Second attempt at this one. After the walk up the track managed to find it quickly this time. Took pathtag, left highlighter. TFTC.
2009-07-05 Found by edmil & maddie. This was our first day out exploring the area. We'd just had lunch at Bailey's winery and a taste or two as well. We set off towards Thoona to see what was what after all we thought we'd 'thoona' be caching than working. Well we blinked and missed thoona but we spied this little cache on the radar. We go to about 400 metres or so and it was walk'n time. Well it was a killa, a killa walk, a killa view and maddie wanted to killa someone -muzza for the cache hide. After locating the cache we explored the spot a bit further. Maddie who has an obsession with rocks wanted to take a couple back. I said fine but it's long way to carry them back, she suggested my back pack, I suggested not; I won. Back at the car we spotted 3 emus out in the paddock - quite a distance away. I told maddie iI would get them to come to us - she scoffed at the suggestion but retracted it when after waving my yellow jacket they came to check it out. we fed them a bit of bread for their trouble. Thanks for the cache we had a bit of fun. no swap was made but we left one of our path tags, thanks muzza.
Well, well, well. A fair climb to the top. I seemed to come in the side where there was no trail and i had to basically walk up a rocky hill of granite with boulders as big as cars everywhere. Anyway, a bit of an adventure and a tricky hide. Got there in the end. Nil swaps, but some good photos which i will upload later. Thanks for this one, one of my favourites
Great views again of the surrounding area and a very nice walk to the top! Sneaky hide had to think about it for a bit!!
Thanks for the Cache

Did not go over the regular track to this one, but followed a wildlife trail to the top!
Stunning views! Could see the smoke in the air from the bushfires from up here.
Did find the, well you know, but it took us only another 30 seconds….nice one!

Found at 1500. After having this cache on my nearest to find list for some time, it was time to find it on my day off. Was surprised to find the track nice and smooth to drive on, and the walking track easy to walk on, and interesting to come across the trig point located nearby. The cache was found by the geowife, which was interesting because when I arrived at GZ a moment later, I spotted where the decoy lay hidden first. Great location for a cache, in which you have done well to find.

Found 13:20, this must have been one of our oldest unfound caches. We really enjoyed the walk to at GZ and then the views that rewarded us on arrival.
TNLN, CSI=4, thanks Muzza for another great cache.

With the footy not due to start for a couple of hours Amy and I decided to make the walk to find the cache. We were most relieved to find the track was nice and flat as neither of us felt like climbing too much. The views were spectaular and the cache was found without too much trouble. We saw too wallabies but no koalas much to Amy's disappointment.

Was in Killawarra today so took the opportunity to go and find this one. I parked fairly close to the base of the hill where I had un-intentionally scared off 3 large Wedge tail Eagles eyeing off their next meal. I thought it was a bit odd to find 3 of them together at ground level, and on closer inspection I had found what they were after. A young Koala had climbed a sappling tree. With no eagles around I left the little fella and climed the hill to find the cache after around 10 minutes of searching. I wonder how many cachers the decoy has tricked, very clever. Also managed to see a black wallaby and a snake on the way up, plenty of wildlife around dispite the very dry conditions.
Love the area, stayed for a bit over an hour just looking around and taking pics.
Koala was still perched in his tree when I left.
Thanks for the cache,

well this was going to be very hard to find because son of chewinprickles had his cheap and nasty gps.we had a signal then we lost it found it again then it was gone again, after almost 2 hours of this we finally got what we were looking for including the decoy, the find was easy. we hope chewinprickles buys a good one for his son.lol took mondo doll left dinosaur.
'Twas a dark and cloudy night...
The GPS didn't want to play...
We nearly went home in frustration but found it in the end with Tayla and Topgunner511. Found the decoy too. Very clever.
Took tape measure, Left elephant.
Thanks Muzza,

Lovely walk in to a lesser-known peak, and the cache was found without drama. T Sandal, L Keyring. Thanks Muzza - I'm just not sure if I should log this again?
Found @ 4:30pm in the company of "Wtfaw". We parked opposite Boweya Creek Road near a park gate and walked from there, it appeared a lot closer to GZ than the suggested track start coords. Enjoyed the bush hike and views. TNLNSL
Picked up this find having completed Ned Kellys Hideout.
Alan the Parks Ranger was kind enough to get us to GZ in his 4WD ute, and watched in bemusement as we scrabbled around the rocks looking for the cache.
Nice twist to this one - it caught P out after she thought she had the cache, but it took a little further effort
Disco Stus second find in a row - he's definitely hooked now !!!
Took : Poncho
Left : Measuring Tape.

After a nice walk, the view was great[^]. Not a bad hidding spot, we had no problem finding it. The weather was just spot on for caching.

Quite easy to find after a nice long walk especially late on a hot afternoon. Glad we took water for the trip. (Cold beer would have been better). Left fluffy pen as pencil stub getting to short. Took nothing container is very small and not much room left. Fantastic views. saw a nice large Goanna on the way back. Very happy as only third find for us.
my 2nd find, hooray! found with Bung. were hooked. Great place to take people when they visit. thanks muzza.

Found by Roma, Kelsey and Max.
This was typically well hidden by it's owner, with an extra little twist that caused some additional searching, until Max came up with the goods.
We took a Butterfly and a Money Clip and left a couple of Mondo Figurines.
Thanks Muzza for that little extra touch,
from Romax.

Found the dummy, seached around a bit more, felt like dummies - hot, sweaty dummies - then had to call it quits for cold drinks and pizza in Wangaratta. We will return!
Nice spot great view!
Saw a family of 3 echidna's on the way to cache very cute and numerous wallabies.
thanks
muzza ps: nice placement etc

our third find for the day . nice setting went for a little bit of a walk after finding the cache . liked the d at the end
A pleasant walk to a good view. TNLN as my swaps were a little large. Beautiful light on the trees and rocks as the sun sinks low.
Thanks Muzza.

6:35pm. I was on the way to Albury for the night. After negotiating the maze of dirt tracks that I thought were the shortest route there, I finally got to within a few hundred metres, and realized that the cache is not named after the nearby town, but after that hill.
After being misled briefly, the cache turned up quickly.
TNLN but enjoyed the view and breeze.
Thanks Muzza.

We came the shorter but steeper way and, we suspect, through more grass seed shedding plants. (Another pair of socks in the rubbish bin). Thanks for the exercise on such a hot day

We had no trouble finding the track thanks to the excellent (no longer available) CFA maps and headed off on foot. At the target location, one of us easily found the "cache" and proudly brought it back to the rest of the team. Then, on opening the container, we cursed Muzza for his cunning plan and headed off on the real search. Fortunately this was found very quickly (thank goodness) at 4:30pm in spite of the excellent hiding place. We took teflon tape and left a squishy purple frog (the cache is crammed full so it was hard to put everything back in). At that point we admired the excellent view and thought more kindly of Muzza. The weather was fantastic and we enjoyed the pleasant walk immensely.
Found the track easily. Found the dummy cache easily. Took a bit longer to find the real thing however, and ended up being in a spot in which I'd already looked. Don't you hate that? Took: Mini padlock. Left: 'STABILO' Hi-lighter.
Found by Ray and Maya (The Nomads) at 10:50AM on the 11th of October. Nice touch, Muzza. We are on our way back home after spending the week end at Lake Hume watching model float planes. Lots of great models to see. The weather has been excellent and today is no exception. The views are lovely from the hill top. We took nothing and left a bell. Thanks Muzza for bringing us here. The Nomads.
Found in the arvo during a trip around the Wang area - Very great location and nice tracks. Hiked up through the bush and my 10Year daughter SARAH found the cache after a small search once at the point near the top. Took Piglet and Left Poncho
This is the 2nd cache found with Rhinogeo on the 17 April 2004.
We parked at the wrong spot and had to cross a steep gully to get to the other side where the cache is located. There was certainly no "well formed track" the way we came!
There were quite a lot of medium sized spiders along the way. (see photo)
We found a box within 1 minute of getting there, only to find that it is a dummy!!! Spent the next 20 minutes to locate the real thing. It is certainly very clever! I took the lavender oil and left a pack of peppermint seed.
It's a lovely spot. Thanks for bringing us here Muzza!

Found on 17/04/04 at approximately 1515 with the intrepid Johan Cruyff (2nd cache for the day).
Probably in a similar manner to Smegheads we found the picnic area 600m from the cache, but we were not deterred by the crossing the gully (we were in the mood to Killamuzza at the lack of a "well formed track").
Upon arrival at GZ we found the 'dummy' cache immediately [^] but took another 20 minutes to locate the real cache. As Black Adder would say, a very cunning plan Muzza . Great view of the North East.
Upon checking the notes I realised that we had approached from the wrong direction but then we would have missed out on the challenging walk there and back! Saw one spider on the way to the cache and avoided all webs but returning to the car I managed to walk into 3 webs and see about 4 more. These spiders are very impressive .

Came to this one after doing Ned Kelly's Hideout Cache.
A pleasant surprise along the way was to see an echidna walking along the side of the road. Unfortunately when we stopped to take a photo it quickly burrowed in so we only ended up getting a photo of it's spikes.
Must have been a good day for instinct to lead us on the right roads to take to find this cache a long with the days previous. Found a location nearby with only 600 or so metres to walk.. Unfortunately it was donw a gully then up the hill.. We imediately fely quite dishartned, it was then beck read the cache description and found we missed a track mentioned in the decription. We immediately back tracked and parked at the track.
A little bit further of a walk but no treacherous gully's to navigate!
We were soon on our way when I nearly copped a facefull of a Giant Orb spider brancher out between the trees over the track. After comming across a couple at the last cache I was starting to feel a little on edge about walking into one face first. There must have been at least 4 or 5 branching the track and made us keep a keen eye on both the ground and straight ahead for any approaching webs.
finally hit GZ and beck had soon found the cache, well what she thought was the cache... Yes Muzza you done it again, we fell for the dummy cache. With thanks to the rather lacking note saying you are close by made us search for at least another 20 mins before we found the real cache.
All this time I was thinking If I don't find it there is no way I am comming back to find this one, not after seeing so many spiders over the track on the way up. Thankfully when it was found all my fears were laid to rest.
Out: Koala

We came to this one from the west, alot shorter but steeper.
This cache had an interesting conclusion.
Meredith's eagle eye soon revealed the cache.
Left a money clip and took a superball.
Thanks Muzza for bringing us to this interseting park.

Muzza! You rotten swine, you! I arrived at the general location, and 'set up shop' atop a large rock. I found the cache immediately, under that same rock. Delighted, I scrambled back on top to 'do the business', but when I popped the top, the words "Dummy Cache" stared up at me! The note said that I was close, and so I was. I soon had the real cache in my hands.
Another pleasant walk through a great Aussie park! Thanks Muzza. (P.S. I hope I wasn't outaline with that crack about the swine.)

Found the start of the track at given co-ords, with thunder and lightining all round but not raining yet. Followed the track to GZ our GPS was jumping around quite a bit, probably because of the heavy cloud and storm activity. Found cache about 15mts from where GPS was sugesting we search. Swapped Pull Strings for Koala key ring. On returning the cache got a very unexpected surprise. Stayed watched the lighening storms for a little too long as the skies opened up and it bucketed down but it was well worth the drenching.
