I restored this cache with a 35 mm film container last Thursday but when I went out there and checked it today it was gone. Someone local I suspect is watching this cache and destroying it whenever we set it up again so I have reluctantly decided to archive it. Sorry about that for anyone who is still trying to find it.
Not sure if you had fixed this cache or not but I could not find anything and I got inside.
Muggled AGAIN!!!!!!!! All that was at the cache site was a logbook in a plastic bag. The logbook had "Stolen from the Old Explosives Store Geocache" written on it but some moron has still stolen it. Sheesh.
One last try, we will try to glue a 35 mm film canister to the roof of the cavity where it can't be seen on a casual look. Have to do this next Wednesday when I go out to Kainga again.
Our apologies to all who have not been able to find this. Also might be able to organise a surprise for the thieving B's who keeps stealing our cache stuff.

same as below. Nothing near by the encrypted hint. Lots of houses near by that can see the cache location.
The first cache of 9 found for the day with relbo. What an interesting history this cache site had. TNLN TFTC
Nice little walk to cache. SL - good to see you are keeping it up after beging muggled. TFTC
I was being stalked by a couple of horses (one foal) but didn't see anybody watching me. The log book is still there....thanks for persisting.
Just replaced the log book after being muggled. AGAIN!! 4thtime lucky maybe. Unfortunately the cache site is fairly exposed some stealth may be required.
Unless I've totally lost my (geocaching) senses, I fear this may have been muggled...
The find was easier than the walk to it.Great hiding place.Said hi to the locals.TFTC
Unfortunately we did not bring any travelers with us down to this cache, as it would have been a perfect safe dry home for them!! We enjoyed the dirt tracks into the area and the scramble and slide up and down the flood bank as well as the aerobics to get over the fence without barb-wire damage. Great spotting to spy out this location that was a little bit different. TNLN TFTC
Easy Find.Drove along stock bank.Horses were very interested, wish we had taken some food for them.Dropped off Awaroa endeavour.
We have had this one on our list for sometime. An easy cache to find with a great hidey place and three lovely horses came over to help with the hunt.Left a Dinosurus.TN TFTC
One of the more sturdy cache holders I've seen in a while! A pleasant wander along the stop bank then down to the caches and back again. TNLN Thanks.
Have placed a new cache container, logbook, etc. Good thing the old pencil sharpener was still there!
Found the location and structure, jumped the fence and had a really good look around, but didnt find the cache or log. Only found a dirt covered pencil sharpener on the ground, which I put in the small door. Friendly horse.
Tried for this 4 years ago, but came from the wrong direction. Nice to grab it today, liked the hiding spot.
Persistence paid off after trying several routes to get close. Cache WELL protected from weather and wildlife.
liked this one, wasnt sure about entering the property at first but thought what the heck.
Mr and lil spud did this one.

Long walk but it was enjoyable. Absolutely loved the foal that was in the paddock but unfortunately I couldn;t pat it as it was on the other side of the paddock. On the subject of horses, those of you who like Horse racing especially the pacers and trotters, my parents horse won on Boxing Day. Her name is Classieriverboat. She is now a 3 win horse. Horse racing fans can keep an eye on her if you want to.
Nice little walk to find this one. The shortest walk by far for some today. TNLN TFTC.
A Quick FInd on a pleasant afternoon day. 2 for 2 today and what a neat hiding place!!!! -TB mushroom TFTC ClownyCacher

Great cache, crazy what people leave laying around. The bag that contained the log book was broken so not too waterproof anymore but the cache was fine.
Found by Grandma and the Britty boys on a dreary damp day. Great little spot. Left hand cream from Rome, Italy and took the "Willy the Whale" TB...watch it's journey to the cold climes of Canada! Enjoyed taking brother and mother with me to experience this fun challenge. Cheers Richbritty
Liked the location of the cache. With all the wet area it was hard to get close by vehicle. TFTC TNLN
Just passing by and thought I'll have a look, got to it easily via Stopbank

Found this one in the early darkness. Must put a torch in the car! Left an old 20c coin and reflector and took a wee box of beads.
The trickiest bit was working out how to access the location. As we left we met someone casually walking up the same access way. We looked at each other quizically - another geocacher? TFTC
#234. Easy find once I got to GZ (Troodles didn't fancy hurdling the barbed wire fence by the road).
You'd never know about this, thats the great thing about caching! Enjoyed the visit. TFTC
Lovely walk on a sunny day. Would never have found it without the trusty GPS. Took stamp left sticky tape. TFTC
Easy find with Wilson#41. Nice little walk to get to this one. Ended up stepping over 2 fences.....

Kwaka40 and I found this one after a walk along the access road! Maybe we should get maps of places we're going to help out, but where's the fun in that!
Great cache, thanks!

Once spotted and a quick find. Thanks for the interesting history of the nearby place, and the cache.
Came with a friend in January. I have been in this area a few times and never knew this was here
once i got to the cache site it was a nice easy find, however my route there was rather interesting as muggles forced me to take to the bush, TNLNSL
There are some unusual historic structures around.!! Drove about a bit to try and get access. TNLN thanks.
A nice find and a very clever concealment place. How did you discover this initially?
Nice easy find for our fourth cache, lots of whitebaiters and fisherman enjoying the day.

Hubby and I traveled New Zealand by rented campervan. 2800 miles in 17 days. There was a great deal to see in your beautiful country and we only had time for about 21 caches.
This was an interesting cache to see and I highly recommend this one to tourists. I was touched by all the memorials in New Zealand for the war deceased. Each little town has their own memory for their own residents. This explosives box was a unique piece of the puzzle that I could imagine happened long ago.
Thank you for placing a cache here.
Beware of the dog that lives nearby. He chased us and nipped/bit my husbands heel.
Took Pez TB and left a nice enameled pink themed pin. Signed Log.

An easy find. It would have to be the biggest and strongest cache container I have come across.

The hiding place raised a smile. Don't know how this gets away without being muggled, though...
This was just way to easy,Its a wonder it hasnt been muggled, yes that horse is very friendly, while I was squatting down filling out tho log book he sneaked up from behind and started nibbling on my ear, very curious lol...cheers and thanks
Tried to get to this from the wrong side. Suggest you take some apples fro the horses.
This one was showing up on our GPS after being out at Spencer Park. Naturally we went investigating in the hope it would be an easy find. Found the location easily enough however after some searching we were still empty handed. In the end read the log and saw we needed to jump the fence. J jumped up on top of it and over (it just seemed the easiest). Cache was located easily after that. Nice place for it. TNLN Cheers!
Great day, excellent cache easy to find with the kids, its amazing what can be found close to home.
-Dice, +B n P stamp & pencil sharpener. Thanks

Not quite what I was expecting but still a cool place to hide a cache. Was just starting to get dark but found it just before I ran out of light (I have learnt to carry a torch in my caching bag now). Thanks

Found on a bitterly cold morning. Still snow on the ground near the fence a week after the big dump. Dog muggle barked at us as we passed by otherwise all very quiet. As we left a lovely rainbow appeared in the sky. Took TB left a light stick.
We'd been having an unsuccessful day geocaching so it was great to find this one. Easy. No sign of horses or muggles today. TNLN. Left the Cuckoo there as we're not sure how long it will be until we get a chance to go caching again.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Second visit to this spot to place Cuckoo Cache due to the good size of the container. The horse was friendly today, and it's owner came past and said hello. I guess she knows about the cache? She didn't seem to wonder what we were doing. Beautiful sunny mild day.

This has to be the safest cache I've ever found, despite the mighty beasts over the fence!
Nice horse, Jeff ferreted out the cache. Distant neighbours were keeping an eye on us. No Swaps. Cheers.
Interesting cache location, a quick detour on our way back to Christchurch.
TNLN, cheers.

When you spot people lurking in the long grass where there is suppost to be a cache, they are either lovers or geocachers, in this case it was the later. So it was an easy find.

Took some time finding the way in but went via the stop bank. Was easy to find because the grass was trampled down. Nice heap of horse do.TNLN
