Have been meaning to do this caches for ages and to say we were disappointed not to find it is an understatement! Even messaged a previous finder but to no avail! Will put this on on our watch list in the hope that someone else might find it!
We were planning to leave for this cache a bit earlier than we did due to some FTFs that came out not far from home.
Was great to test out some 4x4 capabilities today and nail this cache which has stood the test of time for some 17 plus years. Thanks the trekkers

Thanks The Trekkers for this cache. Out and about with Barnzy12 this trip taking us on a journey North for the first day of the year. For a change Itskate came along for the adventure.
Thankfully on this attempt I didn’t manage to get bogged on the beach however I did manage to test the limits of clearance when traversing over the top of dunes. Got fought up on one for a little big before a little digging had us reversing back down.
All in all following the main track we had no issues heading to the cache it was just the “it would be fun heading up there” moments that created a little time wasting. That’s all the fun right?
Have a Fav point for the adventure out to this cache. TFTH

On our way home from Geraldton after IGD we took the opportunity to collect a few more smilies, happy to say we came up trumps here and walked away with a smilie TFTC
After a bit of scrambling where people have been using the dunes as their dunny ....it was found with elation. My mate kindly took me out on his quad bikes to get this one...especially for international geo day! . TFTC
Wow that gave us a run for our money. We were just about to give up then my daughter found it 8pm geocaching!
This ones been on the radar for while now as it fills a rare Jasmer spot for me. With a yaking foray organised for tomorrow I just had to come up a day early and see if I could knock it off. Once set up at the Ledge Point caravan park I met up with PP2 and headed for the tracks.
Did a bit of research in the leadup and decided the best assault was from Sapper rd and then along Beacon rd which got us quite close to GZ. With about 80 meters to go the 4WD in the not so trusty Triton decided to give up the ghost when it was needed the most so we legged it the rest of the way.
Searched around for a while and things were looking grim till I came upon the remains of a cache. Luckily I had a new container in the car so placed a 1litre sistema right on GZ with a new log book.
Glad to finally have this one crossed off the list, awarding a favourite.
The Trekkers I found your cache at 1:57pm, this was the 3rd of 7 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 5084.

We accepted granett's invitation to join him in this 4WD adventure with some trepidation as his reputation precedes him! However he has redeemed himself today & got us to within 70m of GZ, without mishap. A quick scramble up the dune & long search for the cache....all to no avail... We did find remnants of the cache so all agreed that we were justified in replacing it. TFTC & the adventure
Wasn't expecting to be doing any caching at all this trip up to Lano, but you know how it goes, your phone pings, and the next thing you know, you are picking up the gps and geocaching bag and heading out the door. Gave my dad and son a bit of quality time together - well that is my excuse and I am sticking to it.
Knowing that this one might indeed be missing, I also grabbed a prepped cache that I had in my car, and off I went. Team 3BE~NG and his brother Steve were waiting for me at the start of the Dunes and off we went. They warned me that his vehicle was a beast and for once I had to agree, they weren't just being boastful boys, it is a beast, big time.
Anyway, didn't take us long to find our way to gz, along a track I know all to well, having spent much of my mis-spent youth at Wedge Island in the days before the Indian Ocean Drive went through. Great memories, but the lack of use has not been kind to the track at all. Very overgrown and super bumpy, but a whole lot of fun.
Once at gz, we did a pretty thorough search before phoning one of the last finders for guidance. His description of what we were looking for was pretty detailed, but even though we found the wooden board, we couldn't find the cache. Bugger!
Nothing for it but to put the replacement cache back in it's place, along with the bit of board to act as a marker for the next cachers who come along. But not before signing the new log book that is. Am happy to do my bit to keep these older caches alive so that future cachers can enjoy the fun of finding them too.
The return trip to Lano was via a different route, along what proved to be equally overgrown and bumpy. You know what it is like to be in the back of a 4x4, being bounced around twice as high as those in the front, lol. All good fun though, especially the bit when I yelled out stop, to which Steve quickly responded. I was out the door and back 20 feet or so to a heavily laden quandong bush, all ruby red and ready for the picking. Not everybody's cup of tea, but I love 'em. Talk about a happy little geocacher - yum.
Thanks to The Trekkers for placing this cache in the first place, and a super big thanks to Mal and Steve for inviting me along for the adventure. This one can no longer sit on my map and taunt me.

I was up in Lancelin with my brother going 4 wheel driving with a few of his work mates, but they were running late so we were driving around the sandhills by ourselves for a while. We went to the Silver Coast bakery for a pie and I remembered Mistraluna was in town visiting her dad, so I rang her and we ended up picking her up then we had a nice drive up to this cache. Bounced around a bit but that's usual for sandy tracks. The three of us had a good look around but we couldn't find it although we found the board easily enough. Mistraluna had brought along a replacement cache as she thought it would be missing so we all signed the log and hid the cache where we thought it should be. 30 56.149 115 17.288 was the reading I got on my GPS but Evelyns was slightly different. Who's GPS unit is correct? Well that's a mystery. It was nice to resurrect an almost 13 year old cache. Very windy and cold here with a bit of rain so we didn't have any problems with ants or anything. Thanks for bringing us to this spot Trekkers. We even found some nice Quandong trees on the way back to Lancelin.
Sadly for us we could not find this one . We spent about 30 minutes here but had no luck.
The Trekkers - jinta29 had to DNF your cache T-Junction on 10/07/2016, 8:04 AM. I searched but didn't find the cache

I have been looking for a chance to come up to Jurien Bay and surrounds to claim some of the older caches in the area. I mentioned my very rough plans to jinta29, and before long we had set aside this weekend to make the trip.
This was the cache that I really wanted to get for the weekend. We found the same track as Chwiliwr and headed on in. Needed to use low range at a few spots, but overall not too bad a track.
When we arrived at GZ and started looking, it became apparent it may have all been for nothing. Even found a little but of reception and PAF. No luck here for us today. What a shame.
I will be back.

TFTC found while out 4wd'ing with Snowpea Adventures! Next person out here may want to bring another plastic bag as the current one is rather weather worn
Great spot big drive out there with family. Beach inaccessible at times. Took a bit of searching and the ants are insane. Found it and left a few more trinkets for the kids.
(Chwiliwr team catch up log)Chwiliwr decided to take the plunge and 4wd the track to GZ down the side of the restricted area. Was slow going but had no trouble. Was lucky that he didn't as it turned out he hadn't put back any of the recovery gear into the car. I'm not into 4wd.Found the cache after a bit of a search. The ants were still everywhere but took the cache away to sign it so didn't have much problems with them. Thanks The Trekkers for the cache.

We've driven by here before on the way to Wedge but only on this trip did we think of searching nearby caches. Took TB KC4DBW and will relocate it somewhere in Perth WA. **UPDATED 6 January 2011: We dropped TB KC4DBW at New Years Cache 2011 by matty3300

yes a long walk if no 4x4 great little spot was caches was good.got the 2006 kiwi geocion
Gee this cache hasn't been visited for ages. That deserves a geocoin. No one has been here for 10 months! The cache is back in a lunch box nicely concealed under the black plastic. the camoflauge works perfectly amongst all the broken bottles and beverage containers at this otherwise beautiful site!
A really easy find with excellent coords, though the cache is well concealed with black plastic. Great views, though very windy today with some light showers. T: a colourful bear and accidentally some fish hooks), L: 3 clamps, SL. Thanks to Trekkers for the cache.
Found this Cache today,
I noticed that the cache was in very poor condition.
I have replaced the Cache with a more sturdy 13 ltr White Bucket with a lid.
This new Cache may be a little too big.
The owner may want to replace it again. But for now nothing will get wet..
Tn left a bucket

Nice easy find when I read the clues. Our most remote cache so far. It is a lovely spot, a few fishermuggles around today. I'd just rode down on the trike from Wedge, what a hoot.
Lid is cracked, someone logged a find in Jan, but doesn't appear here. Wrapped it in black plastic should keep some weather out.
dogtired & dogbro today. TFTC.

What a beautiful morning and a great spot. Nice easy find. Spent the night in the dunes a little north of GZ. Just perfect.
Took a bit of searching but finally found it

On way towards to Lancelin from Wedge Island and made a detour to this cache. A nice and quick find at the dusk. We enjoyed watching the beautiful sunset before moved on to stay at Lancelin overnight. No swaps. Thanks to The Trekkers for the great location and cache.
This one was the first one we found on our trip up the beach.
It was a good day. Thanks for the cache.

Been here many times fishing but not today. Found easy ( I just stood back and watched the rest look). TFTH
First find of the day. Was a beautiful day and hardly any wind. No swaps but left Frank TB to enjoy a view over the Indian ocean.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Easy find for the first of the day. The wind was blowing but wasn't a problem when in the hollow.

Arlorggen and Zigolphin obviously don't know what wind is. When the sand is taking off the top layer of paint and you can't throw a 80 gm sinker into the wind it is windy. Yesterday was a light onshore breeze.
Called in for a look on the way up the coast & found easily @ 1200 Thanks TNLN
2nd of 3 Caches for the day on the way home. Found this one relatively easily. We left a sticky lizard and took a bouncing piglet, as well as picking up Cookie Cacher TB. Hopefully we will move him to another cache down south sometime soon!! We promise to feed him lots of cookies in the mean time!!!
Found at 11:40. Found the cache flooded, so I dryed it as much as possible, but we had to remove the book as it was almost destroyed. Took cutter, left Cookie Cacher TB.
Day Trip up to Wedge Island, and did this one on the way up. Found without any problems. Left Gold coin and took blobe of world encased in resin.
Aah, this one was fun, that part of the world is like manna from heaven for 4WDs and we, on our umpteenth trip down that beach stopped off at the cache placed there a few weeks ago. We were first to log it and imagine our surprise when a little red dog travel bug was there waiting to to be retrieved.
Thanks Trekkers for a great cache site and Big Red will begin his travels tomorrow, we hope and weather permitting. We took nothing and left words in the log book.
