Logs
15.11.2024 Sleepysloth 1 & 2 unable to retrieve it. Pretty sure we know where it is, but to steep to climb.Got 3/4 way but too risky
Dnf - running out of daylight - lots of rubbish & a bit stinky here & the ground was very loose .
#24379. We worked out where to access the cache from, and I scrambled up to take a look. Wasn't on the side I started on so worked my way to the other side which is where I finally spotted the cache. The descent didn't look so good from that side, so went back under and then down the way I'd come up. TFTC.
The last logs sounded rather ominous, but we thought we'd have a look at the past photos to help pin point the cache location as GPSr reception was not great here.StreetWalkerNZ was volunteered to go seek, and it didn't take him long to find the cache. Luckily no used needles found either. Good to find another oldy. TFTC.
In town with CaptainVimes for a work event (hers, not mine) and to find a few caches. Used a couple of photos to track down where it should be. Thanks for the cache Gordon Patrick Samuel
We found this cache after some non-cache discoveries. To those who follow: Ignore the hint, follow the coordinates.
With The Great Leap Forward mega over it was now time to pack up camp and just cache around Adelaide. With many solved puzzles we zig zagged around picking out multis and Wherigos as well. The glorious weather made for a great exploration of your fine city.Needing this LGA we chose this oldie to complete the Walkerville LGA and get a 4 digit cache to boot. The logbook was totally destroyed so we came prepared with a new one in a zip lock bagThanks Gordon Patrick Samuel for the old placement.
I went half way up, then back down. I just couldn't see where the hint was, so decided to leave it.
TFTC! Sneaky hide. Log is a bit of a mess, unfortunately we didn't have any kit to update.
Strolling along the river, trying to find a few geocaches. This was a late addition to my itinerary, but Im glad I added it. No problems, finding it. Now how do I get down?
It was recommended that I approach this cache from the top, but as I hovered at the railing in broad daylight while vehicles alternated in whizzing past me and stopping at the lights, giving them opportunity to stare me down curiously, I realised that this was a no go. I could easily get up here from down there after all, Im a ninja! So around I went and I made the climb, rather easy but made more perilous by the shattered glass at my hand and footholds. I looked around and there it was the spot that wasnt completely covered in dirt gave me a clue as to where cachers have placed their hands to sign the cache. I really needed that spot myself, first as a handhold when I slipped and almost went hurtling down the hill! And then to open the cache. The cache itself needs some love. Found a spot to sign though. TFTC! And TFTC thanks for the climb!
Thanks for the cache in this interesting and tricky location. I got lucky and found it in the first place I looked. That is unusual! The log is damp. I would think not a cache for younger geokids or night caching.
Took awhile it needs a new log book its completely destroyed very sketchy area wouldn't suggest bringing kids to this one
Well climbing up was the first mistake…
Mistaking a wasp nest was the second…
Not seeing the cache container on the first pass was the third…
Luckily bad things only come in threes.
After those things and a quick log read through I quickly had the cache in hand, signed and returned.
I’m now completely covered in mud and dirt but hey I got the smiley!

We had a shot and before long it was in hand. Last one for the day, before the Leap year event. Ready for a sausage now . Hope to meet you there Gordon Patrick Samuel
Followed all the hints in the comments section and almost pooped myself trying to get up there, but no luck. Just a very dirty bum now
I headed to the Zoo for a visit and afterwards I wandered down the path by the river to look for a few caches along the way. I managed to avoid a soaking but there was a bit of rain around at various points. This cache was on my way back towards the car. After a bit of a scramble I had a good look and was able to locate the cache. TFTC!
Spent a week in Adelaide. Thanks to all the Cache Owners for their contributions to this recreational activity.
Carefully made my way up the gravel and a quick find was made soon after. TFTC

We are finally able to travel interstate without heaps of loops to jump through. We thought we would take it easy and have a look around South Australia and grab a few more LGA's while we were here.
Another one that too a bit of searching. I even had to read some of the previous logs to get a clue then it was a quick find.
This was find number 3 for the day.

Found this one whilst multiple walkers and riders went past wondering what the hell I was doing up there. I can’t believe this cache is older than me!! TFTC
Came back for a second time with a brave friend for encouragement. Made it and found the cache! Found with a Turtle. Tftc!

Tried my best on this one but not good enough. Went up on the wrong end then got too scared to cross, had a little sook then slid down
If you wouldn’t hurry, you could smell the curry!
TFTC!
Ps: could use new logbook and waterproofing.

An oldie and a goodie! I cannot imagine doing this in broad daylight with all the passing foot, pedal and motor traffic. Hat off to those who have done so!

Good cache. Definitely needed some of the previously posted photos though. I was initially way off.
Found! This cache was found and logged on 7 February 2020 19:42. Thank you to Gordon Patrick Samuel for the creation and maintaining of this cache.
Just outside the campground this was a must have. After a few minutes I had the one.

Found during a nice evening walk. It took a bit of poking around and climbing but we finally found it. TFTH
hello, we know where the cache was but for our security, we did not sign it.

There are very few caches from 2003 where I come from, so this was on my hi pri list. I had been near here yesterday but forgot to grab it. Today I clambered up, found it, then clambered up some more. The motorists must have wondered what I was doing, but nobody parped their klaxons, so I figured that this kind of thing is business as usual here. TFTC!
This was my closest unfound trad to home, made the short walk to go and mad the quick find
With daylight savings now in play I decided to head out tonight to grab some trads. A nice night with 11 finds in total.

I was almost about to hoist myself up onto the more difficult to climb bridge when I decided to look at previous logs to see if there were any hints to the location.
One photo showed me the view from GZ and I made the easier climb instead.

Made the climb and hung on while I searched the nooks. Don't like heights since I broke my foot. Very gingerly made my way down. Thanx
I had looked for this once before, but had come up empty handed. Today it only took a short time to find. Signed as joggers and cyclists went past. TFTC
After finding a nearby Used2B a church cache I headed here as this morning as today is a day I need to find a small cache. This one fitted the bill perfectly. Spent a while checking spots at the wrong elevation before I realised where I needed to be.
So once there I made the intrepid climb and then thought I must still be in the wrong spot. So back down I came, then read some logs and realised I just hadn't climbed high enough.
Finally once at the correct elevation it was a nice quick find. Everything is in good shape with the cache and another day ticked off my small list. I then slithered back down, work shoes looking a tad worse for wear. Thankfully no unsavoury characters around at 6.45am

On a walk into the city from my Hotel. Its lovely following the river along. Thanks for placing the cache.
After work, I decided to complete a few geocaches towards the east. This cache wasn't my target, and I seem to recall this one had been disabled for a few months due to some construction in early 2018? Anyway, it looked to be ok at the moment and an oldie gem, so I couldn't resist in making the unplanned stop. Looked around a little, and then had the hunch to where it would be. I then shortly made the find, nice one. All in good shape, thanks GPS.
TFTC Gordon Patrick Samuel! Beautiful morning for a cache hunt. Slowly made our way up the slope. Found while watching junior cricket at Park 9. I love it when an underdog gets up to win, and hopefully that’s today. Cheers
Thanks Gordon Patrick Samuel for this cache. I read some logs prior and brought a new container. Original still there, new one on top, new bag that seals for the book. All the bits and bobs are in the new container. Cheers, cache on
Chasing a cache to qualify for a challenge cache that I had previously found I decided to spend the afternoon caching around near the city. An enjoyable afternoon was had as all caches were found.

While in town on my bike I made a special trip here to grab this old cache. The cache was found relatively quickly but unfortunately it has a hole in the lid and is completely water logged. I didn’t have a replacement cache with me so had to return it as found.
See photo log.
Thanks for the cache.

Lid of container now has a hole in it. Cache was full of water and logbook was soaked (unable to sign)
Rode the pushbike out here in a sunny lunchtime caching expedition. Scaled the hill in my business shoes... just. Looked around for a few minutes and then spotted a neat hide. I do enjoy bridge caches, however I was unable to sign the log as the cache was full of water and the logbook soaked. Took a photo as evidence of the hide, but this does meed maintenance. TFTC GPS!!
Short trip away with tmann421 hunting some caches in Adelaide. After a flight delay we were beginning to wonder if any caches would be found today. The drizzle didn't put us off on day one.

Quick find at GZ. Lid is cracked and has a hole in it, the log itself is good. TFTC

Took the top approach and found the cache quite easily.

Even I don’t get what the hint is supposed to hint at, the cache was quite easy to locate
Cache # 1569.
This morning, I had a training session to attend. I went there a bit earlier, so I can find this cache as it's so close to the venue.
Parked my car in the nearby hotel (because the training session is held in that Hotel). Walked 1 minute to GZ. Well, may I need to approach from the other way. Took the low long approach, found the cache on the second spot I checked. Signed the log, placed it back, and went out the high short way. As it's a bit wet after the rain, I don't want to take the risk to return to the way in.
Good spot to hide cache.
Thanks for the cache, Gordon Patrick Samuel.

Found on a quiet Saturday afternoon in town with the geo-pup. Was a bit of an adventure to get to with a number of deterrents in the way . Went in the low long way, popped out the high short way! (And forgot to take a pen to sign the log, took a photo instead). TFTC
