Parked at the top in preparation for an event, walked down the hill for exercise and gathered the necessary numbers, then off to GZ where the container was soon located with the aid of a torch. Thanks for the cache Tankengine
Having worked out the coords for this cache yesterday, I came back this evening to find it. I had just made my way down to GZ when as voice called out, I dont suppose youre looking for a geocache?! It was EthisEthat! We both looked for the cache and he found it soon afterwards. Then we compared our solutions to a nearby puzzle. Using my latitude and his longitude, we headed off to another possible GZ, since I hadnt been able to find it earlierThanks for the cache, Tankengine! Im including a photo of the trackable owl that is keeping me company these days
It's been a while since I've done a proper bike ride, so today I equipped the water bladder, proper backpack, properly pumped up the tires, and out I go!It was starting to get a bit dark at this point, and my phone battery read 17% (which given my cheap phone, is not a lot of time!)Nevertheless, I decided to at least calculate GZ for this multi, and then maybe I'll go find it.Numbers crunched and GZ was looking a bit familiar!Wow, I was right there like 10 minutes ago!Back tracked to GZ where I was surprised to find someone else checking out the rocks that my GPS was pointing to. A cacher?Sure enough, it was QueenK8! Certainly an interesting coincidence, but a welcome one. With two pairs of eyes even the blackberries couldn't stop us from locating the cache, and sure enough a familiar container was soon uncovered! What followed was some chatter about a nearby puzzle which ended up being very successful. But that's a story that belongs on a different cache page. Thanks for placing this multi Tankengine!
Yes, the views were great and we did spend some time looking. Located the required information after wards and headed off to GZ where it took some time to find the cache. It was a full day today. With rain predicted for the day earlier in the week we had booked into the War Memorial. It was a really worthwhile visit and unlike our normal choice, we chose to take a guided tour. Our guide was a lovely man who was most knowledgeable, and had a store of great anecdotes. After finishing we headed outside to work on Ad Labs and some caches, trads, multis and puzzles. Then it was off to Old Parliament House where we "maintained the Rage" and then cached until heading off to a Winter Solstice Event.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Tankengine.**SKI Pair****
After abseiling down the cliff face to ground zero, buckoraider and baristayan starting having flashbacks of a previous trip that left them scratching their heads as to where this cache lay. However JJNHH, moved in with purpose and determination and within 45 seconds had made the discovery. Great day out the kids had a blast! Good hide.
This cache was one of our officials first DNFs but in pretty sure I didnt even know how to Dnf it back then!Coming back today with a more mature caching brain was awesome Cache was found quickly and our names dotted down
Out and about hiking around and up and over and down Red Hill on a glorious late autumn Sunday afternoon! Baristayan, myself, Frenchykek, JJNHH and a couple of geo-kiddies...what a crew it was. We started off down in the lower ramparts before climbing up the steps and reaching the top. This cache had been a bit of a nemesis of mine, and 18 months after trying to find it today was the day. It was JJNHH who made the quick find, and no skin was nicked by blackberries in the process! Certainly plenty of rocks to look under here. Thanks
What a weekend! With the what would have been the most impromptu trip for me ever, I found myself booking flights to Canberra in order to pick up a couple interesting caches or two. With a list of prospective caches for me to hit made into a list, I had just under 48hrs to go our and collect as many of them as I and my driver for the days would allow! With tree climbs, puzzles, D/T's and some sneaky Drain Caches completed! All in all I had an amazing trip and cannot wait to be back soon! Thanks for the cache and the big adventure!!
Sir_spectre and I are making our way home from our ACT, NSW and Victoria holiday. Unfortunately, due to family circumstances we had to cancel our Mega adventure, so this trip was to make up for it.Many caches found and any that needed some love got it.Thanks
The view was nice at the top but the jet spray wasn'r working again. Quick solve and find. Trying to get my multi count above 25 in the ACT.Found with Mogni. Myself and mogni are headed off to canberra on the " I missed the Capital GeoBash Mega " holiday, since last minute family problems came in to play and we had to adjust our plans by a few weeks. On the way over we targeted multi's, wherigo's and puzzles to make sure we had 25 in each or at least close to that total ( or more ) as possible, getting as many new New South Wales LGA's as possible, the 17th most favourite point NSW cache and every cache size in New South Wales. In the ACT it was getting 2 of the 5 oldest letterboxes, oldest wherigo in Australia, 2nd oldest earthcache ( with a side trip to get the oldest earthcache of course ), and ACT oldest cache too. I also hosted a CITO and planned on getting every different cache type i could and eevry different cache size as well. I also needed 9 more virtuals this trip to get my virtual count over 100. Finally canberra was far enough away from from house to complete the well aged well travelled cacher 0 to 1000 kms with a cache every 10 km's ( i only need 7 more caches to complete )Leaving the ACT it was going via Victoria to get there last active web cam cache and slowly getting a total of 20 finds in each LGA i passed through if i had enough time plus also hosting a CITO in Victoria as well. A busy 11 days. Trust me by the end of the holiday you would have thought the 6 meter ladder weighed more than 13 kg's to amount of times it was used or carried up hills or over creeks. If your cache was found with a broken container/lid it was replaced or if the log was full it was replaced or a extra log if the container was big enough ( except for nano's, do your own maintenance on nano's.

Exciting times over the next couple of weeks as we takeoff for the Capital GeoBash in Canberra! Its going to be a flood of Sandgropers over east, with a host of West Aussies making the trek east for the event. Im travelling with fellow Cockburn Crew members Leg5 and Barnzy12, starting in Sydney and hitting the road to Canberra, before returning back to Sydney. Honourary mention to our fellow member, Cravo10, who couldnt make it after recently introducing a new geocacher to the world the week prior. Once in Canberra, the agenda is set, well team up with a host of Western Australians to conquer caches. Collectively, were hoping to make it the biggest ever weekend for cache finding. Following the event, the journey continues back to Sydney, with a mission to clean up caches and new Local Government Areas (LGAs), ensuring no cache is left unturned in this epic geocaching adventure. Something tells me that well need a holiday after this, well, holiday. This was another one a couple of us, myself included, needed for JASMER. The log has been signed as WAC to save space, abbreviation for Western Australia Crew. Cheers Tankengine! Join us in Augusta, in Western Australias South West, for WA Goes Big 2024 (GCAGV8Y) on Friday 20 to Sunday 22 September. Log your will attend now!
The Cockburn Crew are on tour at the Capital Geobash in Canberra - travelling from Perth to Sydney, Canberra, Sydney and finally back to Perth.Today was day 3 and we had an absolute blast, after an earlier night last night we got up early to head to Yass and the surrounding areas to cleanup a bunch of caches inparticular whereigos and our personal favourite the challenge caches. We stopped in Yass and completed some high quality caches before venturing back to the trails. We completed a huge number of trails, challenges, whereigos, traditional, multis, earthcaches, labs, virtuals and puzzles. It really was a great day for variety. We enjoyed caching in territory we havent been before. Weve filled our boots with some rare DTs and DTTs and generally had a great time. Thanks to the COs for a great day and event. Part of the Sandgroper contingent that has come to the Mega to explore new hunting grounds. Its sure to be a great week with many finds and laughs with lots of great friends and maybe some new ones along the way. Thank you for placing this cache for our enjoyment. Logged as WA6
The third day in Canberra and surrounds for the OzMega Geobash across the Easter weekend.Made my way to the event location for the first time today and enjoyed some of the festivities there throughout the morning. The afternoon was filled caching all over the place with a high priority placed on older caches to help fill Jasmer grids.Another day filled with an amazing variety of cache types and containers were located and with a large group the competition to get hands on the log first was high, with plenty of laughs along the way too. Thanks Tankengine for placing Red's Rear for me and others to find.I added my name to the log at 17:20 on 29/3/2024.This is find number 8533 for me.

Needed to find a cache today, otherwise my geocaching calendar would remain incomplete for another 4 years!Enjoyed this showcase of Canberra's beauty, and picked up an extra AL stage on my way between waypoints to boot.TFTC!
With the area around my place getting a bit busy today and my agenda of cooking pasta fulfilled, I headed up the hill for this evening's events! While out cleaning up with essap2, we were joined by Smittengranny who noted that a multi final ended up around here that we should stop by.Ensuring there were no slips or trips, we all made our way down to gz and began our search around the area. With so many possibilities, things took a little while, although eventually it was Smittengranny herself who made the find! Thanks to Tankengine for placing this multi!
Stopped by the final location with SmittenGrandma and Brain. We looked for a while before SmittenGrandma came up with the find. Nice multi!
I have had the final coordinates for this multi for over 2 years when I was forced to log a DNF. This evening before a local event, I joined with a couple of geopals to search again. It took me a good deal longer to get down to Gz than it did last time I was searching here. However I had a much more successful experience and am happy to be able to log a find. TFTC TE TNLN SL
Picked up the info from WP1 of this multi another time, when we were here to check out the views and caching was not enough of a priority to collect the final. Being nearby during the peak CITO today, and with the area looking pretty clean, we ventured over to collect this one. Good container in a solid spot. Plenty of loot in the cache. Nice trackable tag in there too, advertising the upcoming Canberra mega. Thanks Tankengine. Splendid views and lovely geological features too. TFTC TNLN. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------In the spirit of reconciliation we would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country on which we geocache throughout Australia and their long lasting, and ongoing connections to land, sea and community. We (the pants people) pay our respects to Traditional Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
This one took a little longer than expected on a soggy Christmas Eve But we had a mission to get a trackable here onto its next hive so persisted and soon had CIH. TFTC !

Making the most of the opportunity to duck out for a few hours of caching fun. Seeking out the occasional challenge or two, or trying to mop up as many solves as I can to keep that long list under control. Seems to increase faster than it decreases

This is my third trip to Canberra this year, and day two of the trip. I have met up with oz_bean_counter, and today Pprime has driven to pick us up and cruise around Canberra grabbing geocaches I couldn't ordinarily walk to on work trips and such. A nice warm-up before heading to the Snowies tomorrow!
I was a bit excited to grab this geocache. Back in October I had sweated my way up this hill on foot in the heat and had sorted out finals for this multicache. But it worked out to be too far away for me in the wrong direction. Plus, it was super sunny and I was sick of being not in some shade. This was though my first good view of Canberra on my first trip to the Territory.
When I got home, I noticed my sun-soaked brain had made mistakes calculating the final. Thankfully I took photos, so corrected the maths and saved the waypoint for a future trip. This trip! and given OBC and Prime were after geocaches I'd already found, it was nice to have this on the list.
A detour was made to the posted location again - to enjoy those views once more and admire the plaque. And then a short drive to the start of the walking leg. Did I mention it was still hot and sunny today? Down the deserted track with more lovely views until it was time to go bush.
Getting down was a slippery affair, and then a lot of options presented themselves. Methodical hunt, deploy! I flipped through the listing and got an idea in my head. I rock-hopped about and eventually found a real likely hidey hole. Only it was not very well protected by blackberry. Maybe the only plant thornier for skin than lanatana? Whatever, I stretched my hand down and in via a few ouchy cuts and touched something where I couldn't see. The things geocaching makes us do, right!
But, I did have my hand on the geocache. I wrangled it out, all in good condition and logbook signed at 14:10. I then replaced as found and scooted over the big rocks to get away from that nasty plant! Once we got up the slope again, a ranger vehicle passed us. Heck knows what they thought about two blokes and a woman appearing from the bush, smiling. I am real happy to have found this - an old multicache that needed two trips. Thanks for this geocache, Tankengine

The first of many caches for my birthday holiday in Canberra. This one is one the list because… for some reason it’s cool. It’s old, its a jasmer, it’s got heaps of favourite points, it’s got a view, but or it’s near something that does. Either way, I guarantee I had a great time grabbing it. Thanks for making my birthday awesome!

A day out and about in Canberra with oz_bean_counter and Captain Terror celebrating, laughing and having a LOT of fun. Picked a bunch of favs or olds as targets today and were not disappointed. Nice spot - but well covered now in scratchy bitey stuff.
Thanks Tankengine for entertaining me at this location.

Yes, there are views from GZ.
... and rather nice ones on a gorgeous spring day like this. Who wouldn't want to go for a walk.
If you come in the hight of summer, you may want to bring secateurs to defeat the encroaching Blackberries.

We are on the road travelling up through central Australian and down the coast of WA before heading back over East. Geocaching has taken us to so many great places in this beautiful country. I was happy to grab a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
Stopped off and grabbed the info to get some likely co-ords. Wandered in and after a short scramble, made a quick find at GZ, while taking in the views in the area. Left TB to continue its journey.
Thanks for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

Searched for over an hour in the rain without any luck. Monty and Sam(sung) couldn't settle or agree where the cache might be.
This cache filled two goals today. A calendar Multi and filling a needed hidden month. At WP1 got the required info then prepared some coordinates. Unfortunately I rushed my sums and initially ended up in the wrong spot. After realising the error of my ways I reconfigured and made the short walk to the correct GZ and soon located the cache. Cheers.
Bit of a damp old day today but I needed a multi so to Red Hill it was. Sorted the info a while back but did not need the multi then so decided to leave it. I was a bit worried about getting to the cache as it was a bit slippery but managed it all ok. Everything was fine with the cache so quickly signed and returned. Lovely to have this old one as well
Thanks For getting me out and about Tankengine

Had solved this over three years ago, and only just recently happened across that it was still waiting to be found. Made my way to GZ but it seems three years ago I made a small miscalculation. A quick pointer from a previous finder and I was soon heading back up the hill and towards the true GZ. There it was a quick find, sign and replace before heading back to the geomobile and back home. I tried this cache quite some time ago and got a reasonable GZ but came up empty handed. Today I was in the area and gave it another try. My numbers were significantly different but equally reasonable. As daylight was fading I scrambled to the GZ and made the quick find. I have no idea how I messed up the calculations up so bad on my first visit. TFTH
I took a trip to Canberra to complete 'The Science of Discovery' souvenir campaign. Lots of Adventure Labs experiences and a handful of older caches made this a very successful day outdoors. Thanks to all Cache Owners for their contribution to this recreational activity.

Got the info from the first waypoint, the coords looked pretty good so we popped down to them and it took us a while but eventually we had the CIH despite the prickly cache guardian. Great to find an old cache in such good condition - a fav from us!
Did the sums of this oldie. whilst in town.
Alas I had to give up the search after 15 mins, as I had a lot of other targets to follow up today.
Pretty sure I have the calcs right.

Attempted this cache many years ago with my grandad but had troubles with the calculations at WP1! Came back today while on a pleasant afternoon walk, clearing out some more local caches near my Garran HQ. Solved the coords for GZ on my first go, but I didn't head off straight away as I had other caches to find on the opposite side of the hill. Found the cache at 1740 in the dark while returning home! Had to be careful of making too much noise with some muggles walking right above me. I'm sure some of them wondered what all the rustling and light moving around down below was! Eventually made the find with only my phone light and admired the city lights before returning home. Thanks Tankengine!
Good to get this one while out getting some fresh air this morning. And the air is very fresh. Tftc
After scrambling around with 3 out of 4 cachers having injuries, we managed to find this cache eventually! TFTC
Woo hoo so much to celebrate tonight as we explore this lovely mountain; changes at work; mini graduations; birthdays and a couple of caching milestones. This cache marks 100 Tankengine caches for Gliss! Such a big effort!!! And it is the first time Krispystrips has helped solve a multi We solved the challenge pretty quickly, but the hunt was a little more entertaining, as we scrambled and explored and laughed and tripped. Such a lovely way to spend an evening tftc
Found with krispystrips, k8tybee & nibletricecakes. This was lots of fun with loads of silliness. My 100th tankengine cache - woohoo and another jasmer tick for NRC. TFTC tankengine.

Day 4 of our road trip, our full-day in Canberra. We started off with our customary morning at Questacon, and after fighting my way out of the giftshop decided we could do some local caches. After lunch we checked what caches were nearby - we spotted an EarthCache on a hill, and decided to base a couple of hours around there.
Talk about over complicating things. We stopped, found the plaque and worked out what was needed. I pulled out the geocaching toolbox on the phone to speed up things, and had some promising coordinates without a problem, we set off for other finds with a plan to grab this one on our travels. It soon became apparent our coords were too close to another cache up here, and we reached out to the CO - our coords were wrong, but we had the info needed. Several messages later and we had more coords, but then no cache? More messaging to the Co, thankfully with quick responses, and it turns out our numbers were wrong again! I've been known to make kindergarten arithmetic errors in the field with multis, but what? Eventually the very patient CO gave us some coords to try and we had the cache.
Thanks very much Tankengine, you were a great help, and deserve an FP or 3.
(it turns out the problem was with the autofill suggestions on the iPhone. Typing a partial word to do a letter-number conversion - if you select the correct word you want in the suggestions - the page won't use it to do the conversion - just the partial bit you entered.... more than enough to give us coords 50m out - twice)

We need to complete more multi caches to qualify for one of the UGC caches that was signed in April during the Clearwaters event. This was a one step multi with great views at both locations. Mrs Shifter went to find this one while Mr Shifter waited in the car. The cache took a few minutes to locate and Mr Shifter called about the trig that could be seen , which helped as Mrs Shifter took a photo of the trig and then upon returning to the area indicated as GZ the cache was spotted.
Thanks for the hide Tankengine, another great cache.

Well, I may have slightly misled on my previous log. I was up here both for the EC and this particular cache. A gold-ish oldie that was also a multi. How could I not go and find it! A bit of admiring the view, some plaque staring and some maths had me navigating my way to a large object where I discovered that which I was seeking despite the fact it was blowing a gale!
After discovering that there was a minimum 40-minute wait to get food at the café up on the hill, we decided to have an impromptu picnic on the tailgate of the ute, right there in the carpark. Who would have thought the restaurant would be that popular ...
After replenishing our strength we headed on down the hill again to come and check out this cache. It didn't take long to find the right information, and with a simple and neat app on the phone I could extract the numbers for the next stage. Then we headed back up the hill again to go in search of the container.
Up on the hill we took a stroll towards GZ. Soon I noticed that we were quite close, and there, very close to the path I noticed a pile of rocks and a container under them. That seemed a little too easy, especially since we were still about 13 metres off according to the GPSr. Having extracted the container I noted that this was some sort of time-capsule that some kids had left there recently. It's the second time I have found something like this while looking for a cache.
Ok, the time-capsule went back where we had found it, and then we had to figure a way to negotiate a bit of a rock ledge. There was an easy way down and soon we were homing in on our real prey this time.
All is good with the cache and log. I added my name to the list. Then everything went back where we had found it, and we were looking at which cache we should target next.

Found with gwd.aussie while in Canberra/Queanbeyan for the Clear Waters Mega.

Done some guessing before leaving home, and check once at the start point.
We arrive at the start to find a drone flyer using it was a landing spot.
His drone was getting a flat battery, so he soon moved on.
We check my guesses, and moved on to the next spot.
We the logbook sign, we went onto our next mession.

A nice quick stop here before the rain started. The coordinates were calculated in minutes.

Day 4 of trip to Queanbeyan/Canberra for the Clear Waters Mega Event, travelling with RLD4963.
We had nothing planned for today, no tours, no bookings, so we decided to head to a few particular caches that had been recommended to us. This resulted in us doing a great big loop around Canberra over the day, but we had great fun, and saw some great caches.
This was the second area we visited for the day. I was particularly keen to head up here as I had heard there was a café with nice coffee up here! WE collected the info required and then sat down and calculated GZ over a yummy meal and coffee at the local café. Great views on a lovely autumn day. After our meal we headed off and found the cache.
Thanks for this multicache in a wonderful location Tankengine!

dry.out and about with Lil Rafa caching for the Megga, great to do a Multi with views.TFTC TNLN log dry
To be honest, at the cache I was too busy not falling over to even notice the views!! I did see three Skippys though, which is a rare enough occurrence for me to take great delight in it. The stroll was pleasant, the access adventurous, and the cache safe and dry and very well stocked. TFTC, Tankengine. =^.^=
Second visit to this area in two days after realising this cache could go towards my AUSmer list. Took a little while to work this one out. No problem with the word finds but the maths calculation threw me a bit. First attempt I knew couldn't be right, way too far away. Tried something else and I had a potential GZ that was much closer and worth checking. Off I went, scrambled to the potential GZ still not confident, but I can say I did a little victory dance when I spotted the corner of a container hiding away! Very relieved to find this one. Thx Tank engine, another great cache here. Cheers
Turns out I must have had my calculations slightly short of what they should have been as I couldn't find it anywhere. Then I saw the word scramble so knew I must be fairly close....except I was still at the top. Did the calculations really quick in my head so not surprised that it was slightly wrong.
Parked at the top for an afternoon of exploring Red Hill. What a nice area. TFTC.

I found this with my dad & brother & I liked getting down to it & then running back up. TFTC.
Googlasaurus & I collected the required info the other day for this one, but spent too long enjoying the view & picking out landmarks to collect the smiley. Today we returned with bushwalkinggirl & picked our way down to GZ. The find was made quickly & the kids were disappointed that they didn't have their swaps, as there was plenty of cool things they liked. They then clambered up the slope like seasoned climbers. Great cache, thanks!
Finally got around for an evening walk in this location and picked up this cache after collecting the data last month. While our initial math was correct we didn't read correctly the detail to work out GZ. Thx to the CO for bringing this to our attention. The sunset was a beautiful deep orange but the wind was up and it was a bit nippy out tonight. TFTC Tankengine.
Arrived the night before for a road trip with my muggle friend from Canberra to Brisbane with a stop to walk the 5night/4day Green Gully Track. Today I took the Friday off to explore Canberra for its first time. Enjoyed my walk up Red Hill exploring and finding Geocaches. Took a while to find the well hidden final. When I was signing the log I got attacked by some birds, but was able to fight back , TFTC
This multi-cache was one of the main reasons I wanted to come up Red Hill today, old Tankengine caches are always unique to find! Especially given how you can never guess what container they will be in, and they aren't typical Tankengine hides!
We stopped by WP1 and it was the peak heat of the day, probably the hottest it has been for a while. So after taking photos of the information we sat in the air conditioned car and worked out the coords.
Luckily, I managed to get the right words, numbers and maths on my very first try! And on reaching GZ I had the cache within a minute or two! That was pretty lucky considering some of the past logs which made it seem slightly more challenging.
Thanks Tankengine!

After admiring the views, I made short work of the suns after interpreting the description.
Then it was off to GZ where we searched and search until Me Hancock spotted it right next to where I already checked.

After visiting the nearby tardis, we worked this one out. Impressively Mr Canary did all the values and calculations straight away in his head! We then went to GZ and after a short hunt found the cache. TFTC

DNF. I think I haad the coords correct and found the large rocks, however was unable to find the loot.
Ok... another weird Aykayem log - lol
I first came looking for this on 6/12/16... I remember the date because it was the day I came up here Geocaching after seeing a psychiatrist, on my 54th birthday... lol
I came back 2 or 3 other times, rechecked my workings, looked around where my answer again said... still no luck...
Life went on...
Today I was back in the area, for yet another instalment of the same long story the Psychiatrist was part of - this time to be assessed by a Neuropsychiatrist (the joys of fighting to get a workers compensation claim approved, for a psychological injury, on top of already being "Neurodivergent" anyway - I am collecting a list of weird labels, and weird sounding specialists I have been to
... he said i didn't appear to have any cognitive deficits... Yet shortly afterwards, here i was, as it was starting to get cold, and about to get dark, poking around the backside of Red Hill looking for a lunch box under a rock - lol
I find some words and did the sums again and got an answer that was very slightly different, but still put me in the exact same area I had searched before, so off I went, to search... again... found it within minutes! - right where I am sure i had looked, in the middle of an area I have probably spent at least a couple of hours searching! ... sigh... LOL
TFTC - so good to tick this one off my "can't find it" list
Btw, the container is starting to get a bit brittle and is slightly chipped on a top corner or 2 ... seems ok for now, but may not last forever...

A mornings caching to pick up some more multis I didn't get time for yesterday. I hadn't noticed this plaque before even though I'd been past several times recently. Thanks for bringing me here. As it turns out I'd also run (well clambered down and rock hopped) right past GZ on a recent orienteering event. TFTC.

Headed down the hume and federal hwys today to collect some caches in parts of canberra we havent been before. Highlight of the day would be red hill. Wow such great views from a different angle.
Gathered the info last night and headed back up this morning with what I thought were the correct coords, alas nothing found at GZ.

Was up seeing about an eathcache for earth cache day up on red hill with dty73, Shadowstorm1 and AddictedGamer. The plan was to stop on the way past and collect the coordinates but found ourselves having driven past so left it for after hoping that worked out for us! With our little group we had the coordinates soon enough then off to search for the cache which showed itself after a short walk. Thanks for the cache TE.
Found with aquilus1 DTY73 and addictedgamer. Out today doing some caches up in red hill. TFTC Tankengine.
A straightforward forward multi - when you don’t forget a number that isn’t even part of the working out. A group effort of working it out with AddictedGamer, Aquilus1 and ShadowStorm1. GZ not that far away, so was an easy pick up. Tftc!!!
I've had a number of puzzles solved on Red Hill for quite a while now however never ventured over to collect them. I had planned for a full day wandering around Red Hill today utilising my RDO however after waking up with a massive migraine this morning, I promptly returned to bed.
I ended up feeling a bit better after lunch so decided to go for a wander, slow but managed a few finds.
I collected the required information (well I thought I had) and began searching..... and searching... and searching....... Ummm something is not right here. I rechecked my calculations and it put me in the same spot. I was surrounded by pine needles... lots and lots of pine needles. So I kept searching. This cache almost broke me today, it was getting cold rather quickly so I called in reinforcements. As it turns out, I had used one wrong word which put me in the completely wrong location. After being corrected, off I went to the new location and the cache was quickly location. Had a moment of "ohhh cr@p" when I thought I had lost my caching pen, but turns out it was in a different pocket lol. Signed and replaced.
Thanks for the multi and the cache placement TankEngine

Worked out the coords late yesterday but ran out of daylight to search intensively (and the twins were "staaarving"), so popped up again this afternoon (after confirming coords with CO) to make the find. Dropped in a few little toys to keep the kids entertained. TFTC Tankengine.
Well Cancon is on... so I must be in Canberra caching with AngelG27, while Finalf29 wargames! This was my second day of caching and it was a mixed bag of puzzles, earthcaches, traditionals and a multi... all with the fantastic company of AngelG27. Finalf29 was feeling a little left out so I book ended the day with two caches with him as well. So overall I got twelve for the day...woohoo!
This was my fifth for the day. AngelG27 already has this one, so she sat in the car...ok she wanted to stay where the air-conditioning was...it was definitely starting to heat up. Didn't take long too long to grab the info, but crunched the numbers in the car. Ok off for a walk finding the safest route. My GPS was bouncing everywhere at the GZ. Got excited, but it was only a water bottle. Found cache in an obvious spot, but it is very well hidden. Great Multi. Thanks
