Too many DNF's coming in at the moment. We are interstate on holidays but will have to check up on it when we get home by the looks. Bindi
What a blast of a finish to the cache hunt all the same. A few minutes left with just one more cache to find. A mad dash from the van down the hill, arriving at GZ and having 5 minutes (yeah I got down there quicker than some others) to search - but still came up with nothing. Disappointing to not find the cache? Yeah. But it has been an absolute blast of a day, and rushing down the hill in the dark with GPS and torch trying to get just one more find did make this DNF more memorable than many of the finds today. Cheers Gav
Kiwi Cache Raid: Literally ran/hobbled to GZ in the hope of adding one more to the tally for the day but sadly the clock beat us before we could find the cache. Not to worry it has been a lot of fun! Many thanks Green Gecko Gang.,,,,,,,,,
A last attempt for our 24 hour record, with just 3 minutes of searching time left.
Yes, tried this one in vane for another smiley before deadline. Now, if we'd read the logs we might have tried a different one close by. Never mind - time for bed!
Cheers, M@

Missed this one on the record night but I gota say with this many DNF's surely the owners should have a look to see if it's still there[?]
Just time for one last cache.........maybe. We ran as fast as possible to GZ despite blisters, long grass and threat of standing on a snake. Arrived with about 3 minutes of searching time left, but it wasn't to be. A long slow walk back to the van.
we searched high and low but didn't find it- maybe because it was getting dark.
will go back soon
will go back soon
nah, reckon its gone. We couldn't locate. Please check it out!
We are afraid to say that either this in gone or it's a bad case of two grown men having a boy look!!! Returned in the dark to find this cache with Mr C having found this one before - but alas, no cache could be located and we presume it has been muggled. Mr E will be suitable embarassed if it it still there
Looked, looked and looked again. Alas couldn't find it and it was begining to rain so didn't hang around.
Parked between the two locals and walked to this one and was found easily. T star, measuring tape L fairy tin, mondo. TFTC
Sass'n' found this before I even blinked after the small climb.Never knew One Tree Hill was this fab. TFTC
I was excited to find this as I am just getting used to my new GPS and had a few problems! I left a green tape measure and took a frog
Found it on the rainiest day in years. One Tree Hill got over 60mm of rain today. Nice cache, right near my old Scout hall too.
Found with Team Webguy on his 48 hour Adelaide Caching Frenzy. Easy find as it's the only green thing for about 1000 miles around given the current drought.
TN left LED torch SL.

Easy find, no hills to walk up. never been here before, can someone tell me where the hill with one tree on it is?
Cheers

Found this one after we begrudgingly followed the GPSr's compass up that small but steep hill. A bit safer if you take one of the established tracks rather than straight up the middle
Caught a glimpse of a green container lid, so it was found pretty quickly. We added some extra cover on replacement.

Been meaning to do this one for ages - since we got a Green Freddo Frog Eraser in a showbag. The kids were in control of this one and they led the way and found it easily. Took pencil sharpner and left the Freddo eraser. Thanks Green Gecho Gang !
Lived near it all our lives but first visit to One tree Hill. Had to avoid some local kids but found in about 5 mins. L- green frog T - green hand
Planned to do Instead of A Plaque aswell but way too many people around. Thanks

Our first visit to One Tree Hill. We were expecting more of an historical type town, but found a neat, clean modern little community nestling in this quiet little spot. Enjoyed the stroll along the walking trail before diverting up to GZ. Good sized container showing no ill effects from any damage. Took a green hippo, left a mondo Robin Hood figure dressed in, naturally, Lincoln Green. Thanks GGG.
Dropped off TB Little Ted. I know he is hoping to share some plum pudding this time of year or watch some fireworks hope he gets found in time!
Not very green here either. An easy find after a pleasant uphill walk. A very nice park too.

This was our VERY FIRST CACHE. YES THIS IS THE ONE WHERE WE WERE INTRODUCED TO GEO CACHING BY NONE OTHER THAN GUMACKO! WE WERE HOOKED ALREADY! WE DIDN'T HAVE A GPS THEN AND TRIED TO FIND IT USING THE PHOTO GALLERY.
found with the assistance of novice cachers the snitches - a great team effort!

Nice place always wondered where this town was,
ended up taking the short uphill option,
plenty of muggles at the oval.

Found today. Took green toy snake, left green glow in the dark things but then when we got back to the car, couldn't find the green snake! I think we left him behind or back in the cache. Oh well! The log book is seriously full and we had to write on the cardboard on the back of the pad!
Beautiful evening to tackle this one - didn't swap anything as the youngest didn't want to leave the frog we brought along - sorry
Nice little sroll from the down side.
Took frog,
Left green army man.
Didn't have a book with me, pity, as the Log Book is FULL.
Needs replacing now.

No 7 of 14 for the day 3:28 PM.
The house with the pool looked inviting on the walk in.
Lovey spot for a cache, Barra 3 found this one. Left a Green Badge and Green Bubble Liquid, took Post It notes and wooden frogs.
Cheers from The Barramundi's

Parked as recomended at the oval and it was a nice short walk. Easy find. Thanks Green Gecko Gang... Now on to your next one...
Found the container in the open with the lid off, everything was still inside; we replaced it in a less conspicuous position. What a pleasant drive to this place on a hot day, the breeze is just starting to cool. Took Snoopy and sub club, left a snake on a green leaf and a green keyring.
Thanks GGG.
Thanks GGG.
What an unusually structured park this is! Easy find, thanks. Took a grub and left snoopy (dressed in green of course!) Cheers.

Our fourth find for the day, a nice easy find at that Took green water pistol which was much fun on the warm day we had, well so my 3yr old thought and left a greenish candle
This was our very first find, after learning about GeoCaching some time ago by none other than the Green Gecko Gang! Thanks guys! We approached from the downhill side. Took nothing, Left nothing - not expecting to be Geocaching today!
We aproached from the downhill side so the walk back would be easier after the intense search we would have to make. The road got very narrow on the way in. Took an eyeball keyring and left a green ball.
Found at 15:30.
The dog loved the walk. Another nice easy cache for a lazy Sunday afternoon.
No swap made.
Thanks GGG.

An easy find after a short walk from near the oval. Didn't have anything green to swap, but took sticker and left caterpillar (which are often found munching on greenery) .
MissAdventure from Team Langy found the cache this time. A gecko was guarding the Gecko's cache, lovely spot. Took Frog, Left Mikey Keyring.
We found the easy approach after first spotting the "rating 5" approach - which includes a water crossing!MissAdventure was heard to remark that "That scared the bejeebuzz outta me" when she was confronted by the cache's gecko guardian! How poetic!
Took a turtle and left a water pistol - it was green.

It is time I logged this as I found it a year ago (now 5Oct05). T scent, left a sticker. Thanks Geckos
Found by Team Canopus at 2.45pm. The first of four today. What a great spot, with a rock at the correct height to sit and observe the world. Time was of the essence so couldn't stay too long. Took Green Plastic Cork and left an Emerald Cuckoo Wasp. Thanks GGG [^]
Another one that we didn’t have the paperwork for but thought that we would have a go. Took the hard way in as we realised as we got to the cache. Also because we did not have the paper work we did not realise it was a theme cache and did not bring the appropriate swaps so TNLN
Thanks Team Gecko

A nice location an a nice town.
Took a green Gecko. Left a green snake and 2 green water baloons.

Took a green frog and left a fish. This was a challenge in the dark.... Did a lot of falling over things . Thanks for this cache.
A great morning - we decided to drop in and check this one out before taking 'Wot!' home, mind you he had to have a play in the playground before we could leave. GGG which house is yours???? Thanks - good site, nice views.
What a great location for our 400th cache. Really enjoyed sitting on the hill taking in the last of the sunlight before the clouds rolled over. Curious mixture of old and new. Not quite suburbia and just out of the country.
Thanks for a lovely cache guys.
Thanks for a lovely cache guys.
#16 for us today - back in the game after a busy few months for work and study. Lots of natural camoflauge in the area made the search a little more difficult, once again we found that changing the angle of approach made a big difference!! Took a green cable tie, and left a green turtle table weight. Thanks GGG!
Found by Mary & David at 1630. Lovely bird sounds everywhere, and superb gums with swirling bark patterns. Took green carabiner, left green apple car deodoriser. Our thanks to the Green Gecko Gang.
This is my first find as I am new at geocaching and this one is a local one for me. Found it with no problems in good condition took nothing and left nothing , enjoyed the find thanks to the Family who placed it

A rather exposed area with all the new housing going in! But I seemed to be unobserved as I retrieved the treasure. Took a green finger monster and left a green (and orange) racing car. Very strange place for a streetlight Thanks GGG.
Found @ 5:05pm, we parked at the oval and walked the 220 metres or so. there is a street light nearby for those who want to try this at night. Never seen so many green frogs in one place. Freddo would have a field day here,
Took green mutley dog or bunyip and Left green Wind Chime.
Thanks to the Green Gecko Gang. [^]

Walked up at dusk. Concerned about surrounding dogs barking might attract attention as we stood at cache site. Took us a little while to locate it. Then noticed someone appeared to be watching us from across valley. Made a quick entry and moved away. Took nothing, left nothing Cheers.
One we had been wanting to do for a while since it was in our neck of the woods when we lived at One Tree Hill. Interesting to see changes to the area and lots more nice homes being built. No problem finding the cache - took the watch and left a box of green glass stones. Thanks GGG for an excuse to return to the area.
This was our very first & easy cache!
Took a green ball, left a Green Ant cork.

Finally got back to this one. A nice short walk with the kids, who were not at all happy that I wouldn't take the great trades that were on offer (my green paint certainly wasn't worthy of the neat calculator on offer).
Thanks guys - beautiful view at dusk. Cache in good nick.
Took Green Gecko left Green Water colour paint tube.

A nice easy, straightforward one. Virtually walked straight to it, and spotted it on the approach. I wonder if this is the “One Tree†the place is named after? Or is it the one over there? ..Or there? Or there?? [:o)] Until now “On Charleston Rise†had the best contents of any cache I had found, but this one is much better. Unfortunately I only brought a crappy green plastic bunyip, so had to resist the temptation to take some of the really great goodies in there [:p] Settled instead for a carabina key ring to add to my collection. Fantastic cache GGG in a nice spot. Thankx
While we searched for this, we wondered if the backyard we could see into was GGG's. If it is, it would be a good way to keep an eye on your cache. Left green pen, took dragon. Thanks GGG.
We came we found we conquered!! Found at last(Helpful hint.. You dont need to climb straight up, go around )
Cory, Aimee, Sophie, Gump, Fred and Brydon(Mr Finder himself) it was a ridiculous 0000Hrs but we found it all the same..

This is a great first cache for you guys. Well done. I looked at buying a place here a long time ago but it was a problem getting the little foxbats to schools at the time, pity I didn't because its a really nice place up here.
Lots of green goodies to choose from, took a bendable frog, and left another green frog in it's place.
thanks.

Trev and Carolyn found this one after a short walk accompanied by the two smallest members of the Green Gecko Gang. They tried to put us off the scent, but are too young to realise that the GPS was spot on.
Took the green tape measure and left a green gecko suction hook.
Thanks Green Gecko Gang... congrats on your first cache!

Our first cache for the day. Geojunior2 (3mth old Ashley) was with us, and took a liking to the beaniebear. Hasn't let it out of her arms all day. Took the Bug and will help on its way
Yet again the C.A.S. strikes a blow!
Unfortunately Team Raider were meeting people from interstate and missed the opportunity to strike 1st
It appears a little healthy cache-chasing has begun!!![^]

The biggest geckos snuck up to check on our "baby" tonight (being our first and all..!). Happy to see y'all getting some enjoyment out of it, we are very proud of our new addition. Stag Beetle is getting very "clicky" with his new friends and seems to be enjoying the green surroundings.

One Thursday evening friend took me to a few GZ he had done so I could have a go.
Found this one [my very first] with friend taking pictures some not very flattering.
Used to live not far from this small town and travelled through many times.
Thanks Green Gecko Gang and Tim Tam

Decided tonight to go for a nice cruise up to this cache. This place definately has the best of both worlds - both urban and rural. A nice walk up to the cache and found very quickly. It was just getting dark as we approached GZ with the dog in tow. Took Tennis Ball and left a green (with a bit of blue) Dinosaur. Cheers.
Past friendly locals as I headed down the path to GZ. Found the cache right on dusk. What a wonderful setting…this town appears to have the best of both worlds – rural and urban! Took nothing, tempted to leave my green flash light...but need it for the next cache . Settled on placing the Stag Beetle Travel Bug. It fits into the green theme and is right at home amongst the chorus of crickets (click! click!). Thanks guys for a great cache.
