Had a good look around but couldn't find it.
I did find a small laminated calling card from the last logger - scoddule - but no cache.
I think it needs to be checked.

Fantastic location. Took me a little while to find the cache. The coords are a bit off I think.
Never been here before, so thanks for bringing me!

mmm...neat reserve...serious bushwacking but couldn't find it...is it still there?
Introducing my sibling (Borgling) to caching... good spot to start, as it's a bit of a challenge and well away from muggles.
Or so we thought. Cache was out in the open, upside down, contents everywhere. $%%^#%!! muggles...!
Log is still intact, please bring a pen as the cache does not have one.
As we were going off Borgling's new smartphone, and not my GPS, the spot we chose to re-hide may be a little further down the hill than expected. Keep looking!
One of the first caches I ever logged, so a good challenge to come back a few years later
Cheers!

Borgling and dicky_v found said cache with a fair amount of difficulty. Rescued possibly muggled cache from down the hill.

Fantastic and Spectacular cache on Slaytornator, geomum and my 10 hour caching extravaganza around the Northern Sydney area!!! Love the location and the cache itself!!

Another good cache found on my holiday around Sydney area. Took quite a bit of searching to find. SL TFTC
Picked this one up as it started to belt with rain. Geomum spotted the best path to the cache.
We decided to head to Sydney for a few days R&R with a side of caching. Well more like a side of R&R. 3 Fun filled days later we had logged 54 caches and seen some of the best the Northern beaches have to offer. A great escape all round. Day 2 of the expedition.
The bush fought back during this one. I grabbed for something to support me when I almost fell and got the cuts to prove it. The bush was thick close to GZ but we found it after we widened the search. Fantastic views TFTC Riptide. [1057]

Took some time to finally find it. Great spot. Took Book, left baseball game. Geokid loved it!!!
A short walk had the cache in my hand in almost the first spot I looked. The views around here just seem to keep getting better and better. Clear skies!
We got terribly sunburnt on the sail boat yesterday so were slinking in the shaddows a bit today. I talked the boys into making a quick jaunt from the Mozzies cache up here before going back for lunch. I think they won't trust me next time.
we needed a lot of re-hydration when we got down.
The view was great though.
T: coin - will release in the direction of Germany.

This was a nice little walk through a rainforest-like forest. Dropped our Australien-Coin in here and hope it will have a nice journey until we see it again! #999
Dopped our personal coin "II.Cacher on Tour - Australia 2010/2011 -". Have a good journey, hope we see you again. Cache log follows!
The walk to GZ was pleasant but uneventful in the cooler afternoon. Not sure how long the old swings have been there. A bit of a wander along a minor track becoming overgrown and very accurate coords soon gave us GZ and the cache which is unlikely to be muggled. TNLN, thanks for a very good cache.
Another find for 'The Miles Mastiffs' TJ & Dad braved the elements through rain & high winds we bashed our way On the Riveria to find the cache
Another beautiful place to visit..
Enjoy walking around here..
Thanks for the hunting and cache.
Buon Natale

Little walk through the bush to find this one before catching the ferry to The Basin. Nice sunny day, quick find. TFTC
As I drove up the STEEEEEEP hill to this cache, I realised I had been here before,
but on reaching near GZ then realised I had thongs on (instead of shoes with tread and protection from critters) during that visit, and had decided against going the final dozen metres off the clear trail or so on the day.
This time I was suitably dressed (well, OK, I put the hiking shoes on as I got out of the car) and pushed through along the overgrown pathway for the last part of the track and found a good sized cache nice and easily. There are some heavy areas of ant-holes on the way from the car, I was glad the ants were not overly active either day.
I would hate to have attempted to walk up to this one from the main road - which was about 300 feet below as I got to the parking spot.
Great spot, nice views (a little better from the end of the main path),
thanks.

Little bush bash in overgrown reserve. I would imagine that there was once a pretty cool view! Took a TB to move along TFTC Riptide, second one of yours today!
We beat our way through to a likely spot and found a most interesting cache which kept us occupied. I removed a TB. I imagine this site had a beautiful view at one time but is now overgrown. TFTC
Not much room for parking up here.
A short stroll past the swingless swings and we soon zeroed in on the cache, thanks for another interesting cache search.

What a fantastic reserve in a beautiful location. Cloud cover had the GPS jumping around for a while, however success was soon assured. Left a TB to enjoy the serenity and views.TFTC
Reperio at 1635. Certainly Darwinian and I have seen some very nice views on our trip along the northern beaches, and this was another nice spot.

Its amazing what you find in the suburbs. Nice to see there some untouched spots. TFTC
This was the cache that put a stop to our caching trip, after a quick find and a poke around the old play equipment we headed off to the next cache only to find Geokid 2 had a sore neck. It was soon found to be a large tick had made a new home. More looking found both of us covered in ticks from tiny pin head size up to ant size, all trying to make us there lunch. Larst one was found biting him some 4 hours later.

The Northern Beaches has been part of our lives, well, for most of our lives, but once again, Geocaching brings you to a fabulous spot you never knew about. Thanks!
hint - don't even think of approaching this cache from the low side!

I don't know if we looked too hard, or we just missed it. But my sister and I spent about an hour and a half searching for it. We had the Groundspeak iPhone application which as no use at all because it was innacurate. If anyone has any hints or anything. It was my first time.
Thanks

found it in last light. Another lovely spot in avalon we wouldn't have found without geocaching many thanks. took travelbug (swedish rose), will send on its way soon.
Pity the area is being trashed. nice bright blue container. Took TB left TB TFTC
Quick stop on our way back from Whale Beach. The swings seem out of place here now, must have been a bit less overgrown in years gone by. Dropped Off Lyrebird TB.
My first ever Geocache find! I was so excited I went back to the Supermarket and returned wih a new Notebook which I put in with the old one )
Nice find after a lengthy search, left a TB Thanks for bringing us here. Great views and lots of spiders
Found by the StanleyGang on Australia Day. The next person would need to take a new note pad because the old one has run out.
Thanks for the views !
Thanks for the views !
Another well recommended vistas cache with a tough hide location that must fool many with the tree cover around. We found the goods fairly quickly and placed our find in the book. Thanks to Riptide for one of many great caches today.
Nice little pocket of bushland, still defying the eclectic sprawl of suburbia - shame this park doesn't seem to get used much anymore, though I guess we're playing in it now.
Little bit of bashing to get to the cache, found it reasonably quickly.
Thanks for reminding me about the short but ridable trails - couple of years since I've been up here.

Seemed to be a bit of a struggle getting to this cache, probably because it was dark and we were getting a bit tired.
Thanks again Riptide

Rather glad I had the car and hadn't had to walk it from the nearest public transport point. That would have been a test! Nice spot once there. TNLNSL, thanks Riptide.

Found a great parking spot + just enough for our car. Had some discussions where the cache should be as our GPS's showed different locations. Decided to trust mine (Helga's) and after a short bush bashing we found it. Dropped the TB Aussie Gnome and took a cube, red and yellow, no idea what it is.
A nice easy find to start the "The Wilkos do the Northern Beaches" sortie. Greate views, thanks for taking us there.

#3 of the day whilst returning form Josh's soccer match against Avalon. Josh thought that the swings in the middle of the bush were quite stranage. Nice location.
Had to wait for a heavy shower to pass before attempting.
Nice view however we got fairly wet from the wet undergrowth
dodging all the local eight legged creatures webs. TFTC TNLNSL.

After the children were bitten by wasps near 'Under the big Gums' we coaxed them out of the car for this cache with the promise of going to a park and low and behold! there are swings in the bush clearing. Left a pooh bear clip and took the SES whistle. Thanks MVD
Interesting drive up to here, I thought I wouldn't find a place to stop, fortunately, just a the last moment a small spot off the road. Dashed out for the view and cache.
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
awesome spot for the views, just took a while to find a way in. another area that i didn't know about. great cache. thanks
4.40pm I found the cache and was accompany with Sevabo and Everlasting. After that Sevabo sat on the hidden swing. A Great hiding spot. Dropped Diabetic Travel Bug. Thanks!
Found the cache at 4.40pm. Excellent spot. No muggles around. We all enjoyed walk along to the cache. No swap. Thank you for organise the cache and hunt.
An easy find, the kids loved the hidden swings. A great view and beautiful trees, if only there were some koalas in them. As a kid my mums' old Austin Kimberly used to embarrass us all, often failing to make it up the hill. We would have to role back to the bottom and make a second attempt with a bit more speed in the run up. Had never noticed this reserve but we were often hiding our heads so no one noticed us. Took a bubble gun and juggling ball and left 2 toy cubes. And yes we also took home two big and beautiful ticks between us.
This was our first cache after dinner, in the dark during the unofficial Team Booted northern beaches caching afternoon.
It was quite a hill we had to drive up to get here but the GeoPatrol powered up it. After some GPS instability, I found it. We duly signed and replaced. A nice spot at night, this would be great during the day. Would be great to have the $$ to buy around here.
Thanks

Found this one after dinner with the rest of the team. Great view from GZ at night. After the GPS settled down and gave some more reliable results we had the cache in our hands. TNLN. Thanks for the adventure.
Great view, The red swing seemed out of place here.
Took Farley the Travel Sheep and Shougal McDougal bugs
Thanks Riptide
Dropped by here in the late morning while going to visit a family friend in Avalon. Amazing that this little park was up here where it was!
In: mini-clothes pin & bottle opener keychain
out: 'biener keychain and race car
Also grabbed TB Computer Says No
Mind the ticks up here - I picked one of those up also, to apparently no consequence, thank goodness.

What a nice surprise this park was, and the view spectacular! As we walked in, we could faintly smell a bush fire on the wind. We found a survey marker, and also saw our first "in the wild" bee hive - so far up in a tree you couldn't even hear them. TNLNSL The cache was so roomy and enticing, three Travel Bugs and a Geocoin jumped ship in order to get some R&R. Thanks for sharing this area, and for the cache Riptide!

Frankly, I don't think I could have found my way in here on the motorcycle without a routing GPS to help me. What a twisty maze of streets there are around here!
Once at the cache site another GPS led me a merry chase to the cache. Fortunately, I found it exceptionally quickly given the trouble I was having getting a good signal. Great views from the top though.

Quick pick up of TB "Busmans Holiday" to take him to Event cache on the Centeal Coast.
Arrived at GZ, GPSr led us on a merry dance all over the shop today before finally settling down, Great views frome here.

Travelled north hoping to see whales. No luck but did find a few caches and nice quiet spots, including this one. TNLN. Thanks for the views.
Able to see this one from about 10m away. Hid it a little better. Shame that the area has become a dumping ground. Practised a bit of CITO but didn't make that much difference.
