Answers emailed to the CO. Our last little stop on our visit to Yosemite during our honeymoon in April. Hard to imagine that first ascent. The sheer endurance of body and mind required is amazing. Perfect blue skies and soft afternoon light made it a wonderful time to visit El Capitan and a great way to top off our day here. Cheers from Sydney Australia
What a spectacular view point of El Capitan it is from here! We made our way to GZ and spotted a very familiar aussie couple, Aussie Liahona and together we soon had the information we needed, before heading off for a few more caches for the day [^]

Visited on my US trip, we didn't come to Yosemite to climb up El Capitan (although that would have been incredible), we walked up Clouds Rest the next day. That was the best we could do
I had a few photos taken in front of this famous mountain, sounds like a climbers dream & nightmare at the same time.

Spent three days in the park! Havent been here for probably 20 years except to go through on the Tioga road! Spent an hour or so watching the climbers! Sending Answers
We located this one at 6:25pm on the way out of Yosemite. It had been a long and hot day and the chance to stop here in the cool of the evening was just fantastic. We met a couple from Fresno nearby who pointed out some climbers on El Capitan and lent us their binocculars. It blew us away to see how small they were in regard to the mountain as from the perspective that we were, the rock face looked a lot smaller. Thanks for the cache from D,H,H & A B-A.
Fantastic virtual - grabbed some photos - email sent - could see something on the cliff face
