As there's been no cache to find for some time, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Coldstream and I were on a cache raid to the Western Bay of Plenty. We looked for the cache and found where it should have been. Found a page with four cache listed with coords and hints only. It certainly looks like it is MIA.
Cheers for the cache.

In Tauranga on a cache mission with Tufty. Found a likely spot at gz, but nothing there.
nice easy find very cool container
put in: mini pink highlighter pen
took out: sushi magnet
surprised it is there still as there is a lot of homeless action in the area which left us feeling uneasy!!!
this is most definitely a daytime cache!!!
would not like to be there alone near-on or after dark!!!
TFTC
P.S. no coins or bugs

Found it on a lovely sunny morning. There seems to be someone living in a tent semi hidden in the trees nearby. We could smell them before we saw them.
Spent ages trying to find the cache until I used the hint which put me right on the spot. Son took the Calculator & he left a Hot Wheels car in packet. Signed log book which was dry. Find #3. Took son for Icecream afterwards at shopping complex.
Easy one from the shopping mall side. Luckily we had dinner otherwise BK was on the menu. - Bear TB +2xTB. Positive trade for this hotel. TFTC
Found while Mrs waiiti20 shopped across the road. No TravelBugs today though. TFTC
Nice walk in from nearby carpark
Found easy enough,thanks..
Nice cache to look through.
Think we may of disturbed homeless people camped nearby
But didnt compromise cache.

Dropped of Travel Bug, very hot walk to find. Learnt what a Punga tree is now. Thanks 1-4-1 Family
Found fairly easily, although had to avoid a couple of muggles trying to sell us some fish! SL TNLN TFTC
Very nice sunny afternoon for a walk in the park. Much easier to get to the cache by walking through the park rather than around the estuary!!!
TFTC.

Found as part of my three week caching trip from Wellington to Auckland - # 608. Thanks.
Nice find - can see this gets boggy after rain, and the smell of the green sea weed was um, fragrant TFTC
Found in seconds. Park was very boggy and noticed a couple of tents set up under the trees, might be some homeless people living there, would pay to be careful if doing this one at night. Drop a Jeep TB in and took a Shell TB out
In the area on a short visit to Tauranga . Dropped in 2 TB's . Had lunch at the shopping complex. TFTC.
Kid deserved an Ice Cream after this one, their 6th find of the day and I still had to talk them in to going home to eat dinner! Very successful days caching! TFTC. Back into it tomorrow I suppose
Nice quick find. TFTC.
Ground quite boggy (has been raining for last two days), so was glad to be wearing my gumboots.
Found on an afternoon hunt with Lionfish.

Our first visit to the hotel today, no Travel Bugs in residence. Did a swap, many thanks for the cache.
Great cache. It was soggy underfoot and dark but beautiful starry night.

stalking the treasures with captain muzy man and captain jumboz sweet find thanks!
On a geocaching day trip with Kiwicouple and Rosmar. It was a rather chilly day, and there was a brisk wind coming in - but we won't let things like that stop us! Discovered a few travel bugs today! Thanks
Second day of our caching weekend with kiwifeet and kiwicouple and our thirtieth find. After a freezing walk to GZ we managed to find a sheltered spot to record all of the TBs and coin numbers that we had discovered. T4TC.
Tearing around Tauranga today with Rosmar and Kiwifeet. Bit wet underfoot in this park today, after all the rain yesterday, and there was a bitterly cold wind blowing. Didn't let that stop us from making the find, though we did not linger long at GZ. Took a wee while to log all the TBs in the hotel.

It was dark by the time we made it here, so couldn't really appreciate the lovely environment. More than likely we'll be back this way again to exchange TBs. TFTC
TFTC!! was a lovely cache to find and really enjoyed looking without using the hint. Very peaceful location and just missed a rain shower:-) Box a bit stiff to open, but that was my inexperience, but was rewarded with an interesting diverse cache of goodies. Sorry had nothing more than a new nail varnish to leave, but took Puzzle TB (with instructions) and Red Rock TB to move south. Will visit again leaving other TB's in future. Thanks much
Had a cruddy day at work and this find gave the day a little shine. Dropped a TB and uplifted a couple that i felt i could further the mission of.
Virtually dropping Homing Rabbit TB here. He was dropped in another cache by mistake - he is actually here!
Out on our way to Rotorua going through Tauranga and stopped off to pick this one off and take a couple of TB. Left the Homing Rabbit TB from San Diego California.
Came out for a walk to check on my cache, the container needs total replacement. I have removed it and will replace it this week, all the bugs are safe and will be looked after until replacement cache is put back.
Thank you to the cachers who have spent time putting the contents into bags to stop any deteriation of goods.
Cheers the wookie

#216. Team Northwood came over the Kaimais for an anniversary day of caches.
This is a nice spot for a hotel. We grabbed one TB (Pickin Chicken) for a trip across the Kaimais. Dropped in a 1 US cent coin.
We logged the others as discovered, it seems quite a few listed on the inventory are missing. The log book is damp, and getting pretty full. Possibly time for a little cache TLC.
#14 for day in hand at 13:20.

Early morning visit and had wet feet with all the dew

Easy cache to find with kids and free from muggles. Finally a cache big enough to leave the extra large "size doesn't matter" coin which I have been trying to get rid of for some time!
PS logbooks quite damp.
PS logbooks quite damp.
A little local knowledge of the surrounding area would have been advantageous (or better maps on our GPSr). Approached this cache via the water front (which we do not recommend). Found the cache out in the open and the log books are quite damp. We took several CG's and TB's. Sorry, but the cache note didn't say to only take one and there were heaps in the cache. Also we have bought a stack from Australia to NZ. We will release some of the TB's we took when we get to Auckland and take some back home to Australia with us. TFTC
Wow, I don't think I've seen so many trackables in one cache before. I brought three with me from England, so am taking three back with me.
Log is still a little damp, but otherwise in good order.
Many thanks

Must have been a high tide recently ! Muggle free on this lovely day so made time to do the washing and drying and bagging. logbooks still rather damp unfortunately. in - Shellz shell. out - Caught Red Handed geocoin. TFTC
I was pleased that the cache wasn't in the flax. Had a nap on the grass on the way back to the car - must get to bed earlier.
Quick find. Drained out the water and played tag all the way back to the car. Thanks.
Walked through the boggy underfoot grass park, Mrs Geckoh found the cache after being told the hint, The container was very damp/wet inside, we took the most wet of the soft toys out. Left Behind Sleepy TB and rescued Tigger the pathtags hitchhiker.
Easy find, and good size for the purpose. Took TB and left a "Travelertag" (which was a real pain registering and logging after I got it elswhere).
Thanks
Thanks
Very soggy underfoot today after all the rain. A very easy find with the obvious clue thanks. Was a little water in the bottom which I tipped out, but log book & contents are all still fine.
Picked it up on a conferance trip to tauranga
thx satchmo cat

It's a wonder it doesnt get flooded but is in good cond. Nice walk and good outlook with the tide in.
Our first experience geo-caching! Makes going for a walk a lot of fun; and got to see a corner our town we'd never been to before. Took Three Ringed Circus for a journey, left another item.
Called in for a bug swap. Picked up a couple for a trip south soon. Dropped off Bad Mojo and ArgoBug.
Thanks for mowing the lawn in anticipation of our visit. Not at all boggy today!

1654. The ground is very soft underfoot as you walk across to the cache. There is a large wattle branch detached from its trunk that is causing an obstruction. Found at 3.05pm.
Thanks
