Despite warnings gave this one a good bash but couldn't find the way thru, despite being less than 100m from gz. Heed terrain warnings if you try this

Well this one is has clearly been abandoned by the owner. Magnificent location with fab views up and down but STRUTH!!!!! What a slog to GZ.
The bush was head height all the way until the last 15m. Scratched, cut, bleeding and dejected when I arrived at GZ to find squat, until I turned around and spotted the cache.
It is a real shame that this one appears to have been abandoned by the Owner (struth, he has not even validated his email!), such a lovely spot.
I had better success with these coordinates:
S33 37.458
E151 20.540
I also made a rock stack to assist, I hope it remains there for the next Cacher.
Oh, the next person may want to bring along a new container as this one has well and truly had it!

Ufff, this was a hard cross of a heavy bush (recommend long sleeves and trousers, possibly hiking boots...) and finally found suspicious heap of stones at the spot, but they did not hide anything.
The view was fantastic.
The view was fantastic.
Container is now falling apart with sun damage. I bagged the contents up as best possible and it should be ok for a short while. Needs new container. Tks........
This was a challenge and I was not sure I was going to find it. But I did and in quite a remote location. Thanks for putting it out here!
This was a hard one. Luckily wing6rider found it relatively quickly considering the terrain.
Wow, a VERY tough battle through heavy bush to get to GZ. Brilliant view when you get there though.
Owner - the cache itself has been pierced and has a sizable hole in its shoulder.
Cachers - the Geodad and Geoson both ended up with minute Ticks which required removal this evening.

Not a friendly cache for young kids, a mission and a half

Took some visitors out with me in the form of two large ticks that were removed and exterminated

Geez, that took 3 attempts but we finally found it. Beware, go with plenty of light, the bush bashing on the way back gets a bit hairy otherwise.
Great spot thanks J.A.C.K.A

great spot once we got there, pretending to be wombats to get through the cassuarina scrub. Finding our way back to the path was a lot more difficult not to be attempted in the dark.
Loved this cache; our favourite of the day. Good fun bush bashing here, nice and secluded spot away from all the muggles, and the views from GZ are fantastic.

Another great hide. Great views!! What a great day caching. The weather was great and the sky was very blue. TFTC
Found this one just as the wind picked up and started to rain and I dont like being near cliffs so I almost droped a geonugget in my pants however good views up and down the coast and on the way to the cache I found a rock with writting carved into it but I couldnt read it very good it was dated sometime in 1942 there was also a big metal bolt in the rock just near it when I found the cache it was all wet and the log was to wet to write in there was a big hole in the cache also found a tick walking up my leg TNLNSL TFTC
Cache has a decent sized hole in one corner - logbook is fairly soaked but recoverable.
Didn't have anything to repair it with, did my best to hide it in a way that minimised any more water getting in.

GPS batteries died about 40m away, still managed to find it without too much trouble.
Thanks for a great spot, nice little challenge to get down to it too.
Grandparents live almost the same distance south from Indian Head, was great to see it from this angle for a change.
Cache has a hole in it, log is fairly soaked so I signed on the back of something else.
Took Cachecard 200526, not in the trackables list though...?

Reminds me of a who song, 'I can see for miles and miles' fisherman fishing, boaties boating, hikers hiking and geokid winging. Everything normal! took green container and left TB TFTC.
Definitely the best views of the trip and well worth the walk.
Possibly wearing shorts was not the most suitable clothing for the last part but when you leave Tassie that morning and its only 5 degrees then you arrive here and its 18 degrees the shorts just had to be put on
Thanks J.A.C.K.A for the cache, the camera sure got a work out on the views and another one we sure didn't rush away from!

Stay on the path we did but then it's everyman for himself, this one had a roughly hewn or pressed out track for most of the way and then a short stretch of bashing, but we got there in the end, the cache was found quickly by both of us but Homedg deserves kudos as he spat his chips before me. Good work mate I don't know where we'd be without you (he he he ) Top spot though a nice one for our last find for the day Thanks for bringing us here, the trek out was no better but we found our way to the track eventually. TNLN
Ruffasgutts invited me along for a nice days caching up the Northern beaches today. After finding this cache the finds score was 8-2 to me!
This was our last cache for the day (10 finds with some pretty arduous terrain throughout the day.)
Again I came up trumps with the find, merely microseconds before Ruffas did. What would he do without me, he he.
Awesome views, it was certainly worth the scrub bash to enjoy them.
TFTC and thanks to Ruffasgutts4X4 for a great fun days caching.

Someone needs to head up here with the whipper-snipper!
A return trip for us having just been to GCJBCE (On a Clear Day) which is next door. Picked up the Crikey coin there to drop off.
From the path to the cache was seriously hard going with the bushes tall and spikey. Wearing shorts was not a good idea. Ended up putting the geokiddies on our shoulders to prevent them all losing an eye or two.
But finally made it to the spot and not too long to track down. Last time we came it was harder because it had been placed under a raft of moss and weeds. This time it's in a more obvious location. However it has been damaged and contents are now affected by water. Logbook was a bit damp!
Took somethings and left some others, including the crikey coin from GCJBCE.
Thanks for getting us out the house (again).

What a spectacular cache location this is. After doing the nearby cache we strolled along the well defined track to the survey marker. We could see where the cache was located and luckily found the rather obscure but readily navigable track through the coastal heath, thus avoiding any bashing of the bush so to speak. At GZ the views are wonderful indeed. Alas the cache is in a sad state. Not a very good container really and with a corner missing water had ingressed soaking the full log book. We tarried a little while performing what little cache aid we could - drying the container out & taping the hole as well as removing some sodden rubbish. Left a new log book & pen. This is a wonderful cache location and it's a pity the cache is not being maintained. We took a tracing pattern thingy, leaving a candle and some toy dinosaurs.
A quick find, but actually after 100 m bush bashing I realised I have no pen with me and the one in the cache is not writing.
Tried to engrave the wet paper.
In addition I took an image of cache and logbook as proof.

Fantastic weather even this week, great views. Gave the wet logbook a new plastic bag.Took a red mini Buddha and left Kellogg's mini game.
What a great spot. And the weather was just fantastic! Great view!
Seems that the log got a bit of rain during the last weeks. Was a bit wet. One could still read it but a new logbook would probably be a good idea. This one is getting full anyway.
Thanks!

Had the day of work so thought i would try this cache first , didn't have the co-ordinates last time i was up here for this one glad i didn't try look for it without the gps. Great bush bash in.
thought i would try this one as it was closest to home for my first geo cache.
funny i've been walking this track for the last few years never knowing what was stashed nearby in the bush. Took the coin left flanders figurine.

Now this a must do Cache. We left it till last and it made the day complete. What a fabulous spot. We managed to locate the overgrown track so it was easy to get out GZ, and talk about the views. Absolutely stunning, thanks for taking us there, well done J.A.C.K.A.

Took a while to find the track but together with a bit of bush bashing we got there in the end. Fantastic view and the cache was easy to find thanks to spot on co-ordinates.
Had trouble finding any defined track so we bush bashed our way to GZ. Once there found the goods. Well worth the effort as a great view along the coast was our reward. We found a semi defined track back out. TFTC TNLNSL.
This cache is just amazing!!! Love it! Steep walk up to get to the top, and we found the first cache (GCJBCN) in the area. Then we marched on to get to this one, and the view is just SPECTACULAR!!! But best to wear long trousers for this one, because we ended up with scratches and bleeding from spikey plants and branches. Also becareful not to walk too close to the edge of the cliff. Found the cache easily with Harrip and Neutralguy, left a TB. TFTC!
WoW what a view! Amazing location, probably best yet. Challenge to get there - be careful! Nothing taken, nothing left.
After Clear day moved on to this one with harrip and figuromo.
Once off the main path the going is tough and definately one for long trousers. Spiky bushes and branches left legs pricked and bleeding. Keep an eye on the cliff edge because it can be just behind tall bushes.
The view at the cache is stunning. Never seen the coast at this point.
Took Rubber ducky, left Incredinbles Yo-Yo.

With the bushfires blocking the F3 and rail north, we left the car at palm beach ferry overnight. After catching the ferry back this morning I had a little bit of time to pick up the two caches up here before I had to get to work.
Two years ago I was living in one of those big houses down there with 360 deg view. I used to love going out each day and sitting on the cliff and watching the boats, whales, hang gliders, dolphins and bushfires go past. I never used to tire of it. It was strange because the neighbours despite paying a fortune for their view were hardly ever outside enjoying it.
After a bit of bashing thought the scrub I found the small track which lead straight to the cache. I spotted the cache staight away. TNLN Enjoyed coming back to this area to visit this view again.

Decided to go for a Saturday afternoon stroll to pick up the Geocoin and the crocodile. Mrs Riptide has never been up here before even though we live 5 minutes away.
Great spot. Nice trail all the way to GZ (although it was a bit hard to follow at times). A lovely cool breeze here on a hot and humid day.
Left a crocodile and a duck as the big cache looked a bit empty.
Thanks, Robmc.

It took a bit of a bush bash and stratch on my legs but at the end was worthwhile with beautiful views. thanks for taking us there.
3.20pm Sevabo and I looked down the bushes and the cache was found by Everlasting again. It was a beautiful spot and view of Sydney and Bondi too. Seaplanes were passing us. TNLN SL
Found the cache at 3.20pm. My god so excellent view - I admire it so much. I stayed there for while. No swap except drop "www.muenchen.de" Geocoin and Cachecard 200526. Thank you for organise the cache and hunt.
Like many others I decided to attempt both caches on the headland in a single trip. It took a bit of a bush bash, but I was soon at the cache site and the cache was in hand as my last of the day. I have sailed past the headland many times, but this is the first time I've actually been on it so the trip here was much appreciated.
good spot to wave to the people in the sea planes as they fly past at the same height.

Close by so over to this one in a jiff
Didn’t like the idea of the kids near a cliff
Left them in the scrub as I ran to the stash
Wished I’d seen the track no need to bush bash
Brought the loot back to the young uns
Heaps of goodies by the tons
Sat for a while the view we admired
On to another cache before the kids got tired

What a fantastic spot to stand in awe. I would not have ventured down to this spot without a geocache to lure me. I could hear fairy penguins calling from the water below and had the ‘hole in the wall’ pointed out to me by my travelling companion. The only thing that would have topped this is a whale being spotted moving up the coast… maybe next time. Cache is in good order but it may be getting close to the time to replace the logbook. It is stating to loose pages. TNLNSL. Thanks for dragging me off the beaten path.
Fantasic views on a beatiful good friday, there were dozens of yachts out sailing.TNLNSL
The area is certainly deserving of the two caches it has. Thanks JACKA we loved the views and took quite a few photos on this nice clear day.

I had some free time so I decided to check out our cache. Still in great condition and exactly where we first hid it. Track has become very over grown. If easier you could stick to the cliff edge until you get close to the cache, hang on tight to the geokiddies. If you are wearing light colours beware of burnt out trees. Happy caching!!
Great cache, great spot.... lovely walk up through a part of hte Northern Beaches I have never explored (despite growing up on the North Shore).
Once you've made it to "On a Clear Day" just a hop, skip and a jump onto this one. Final bit of path looked a bit dodgey but was fine all the way to the hiding spot.
Like has been said before, trust your GPS to find this one. Then sit on the rock and enjoy the fantastic views.
Took an old maid. Left a bracelet.

Our 4th for the day with Bronze out hunting for fantastic plastic.
This one was found by Bronze. We had just finished the other cache nearby and I knew there was this one not too far away. But, for some reason it was not in the GPSr, so, had to manually plug in the co-ords from the palm.
We arrived at GZ without the girls as they stayed in the shade, and commenced our search. it was not easy with views such as those that you get from this spot.
One of the previous logs said, trust your GPSr and you will find it, well, that was so true, we searched everywhere else then decided to try that. Bronze came up with the goods and all was well.
Again, we had nothing small enough to swap, so we took/left nothing except some comments in the log. Though, we did take a bunch of pics!
Thanks for a great cache at a most excellent location!

Wow!!! This spot is fantastic! I hope to get back here again sometime and check out what looks like an interesting cave furhter North on Careel Head. I didn't have time to exhaust the area's cache supply, so the incentive is certainly there.
The sandstone certainly looks soft around here. I was a bit uneasy about looking under the bigger slabs, until I narrowed my search a bit better.
A muggle had signed the log book since the last find logged online. All very friendly, "honouring our rules".

Wonderful clear day for this cache. We were a little concerned as the clifftops loomed near, but we put our faith in Team JACKA and they did not let us down. We rate this spot 10 out of 10 for coastal views. Took a fishy keyring; left a card game, some dice & a plug. Thanks guys.
Shame it was raining for Leeks visit to this cache. The views are great. I could have sat here for another hour. The sunset was a real blood red and it looked just fantabulistic. I eventually got around to finding the cache. Took nothing. Left another glowstick. Well worth a revist. Thanks JACKA. I was so glad the cache was up top and not down below. Now that would be a mean idea for an offset cache.
After panting my way up the hill, I was glad to get 2 caches for the price of one... It was raining heavily, so I couldn't see a lot from here, but I did manage to find the cache... It was a little exposed, so I tried to hide it a little better... I'll come up here for a walk with the family when the weather is a little better... Great Views...
What a great spot. Love the view. Never mind the almost embarrassinly long time it took 4 "experienced"(???) cachers to find this one. Who was it that said not to trust the GPS? Don't listen to them...

After doing some serious dmage to myself on the previous cache, I got here and attempted to get some air back in my lungs and they seemed to have failed here somewhere, strange actually, because I am actually fairly fit and healthy, maybe 16hr days are beginning to get the better of me.
After all the effort getting here, I got back to my truck without the TB, and the way I was feeling I am not even sure if I signed the log, but the views at 0300 were fantastic.

After all the effort getting here, I got back to my truck without the TB, and the way I was feeling I am not even sure if I signed the log, but the views at 0300 were fantastic.
Thanks

Just went to check on our cache and do a bit of whale watching. No whales but lots of fish in a feeding frenzy. Dropped off TB Bug Me #2. A bit squashed in the cache but he has a great view so it is worth being squashed.Everything looks good at cache sight.
Going by the caches name we thought there must have been a nudist beach below the cache. But we did spot whales and this is a much better spot then Kurnell as the whales came in closer. We had to stop looking for the cache as a couple of whales surfaced below the cliffs before diving again. Seemed to be a small flotilla of boats out trying to get close to the whales. Enjoyed the whales and the view. Just a note that if people come out here to watch whales the cache may get found.
find # 271
7th of 10 for the day.
After such a ycky event at MS02- once upon a time, I found this location to be awe inspiring, had trouble looking away from the view to find the container. But when i did, the container was easily seen, I think th e grass has wilted away from your hidey-hole.
not to worry, made the exchange of goodies, and signed the re-constructed log book. then brushed the grass back upto hide the spot a little better.
on to On a clear day...

This cache is aptly named...a wonderful view up and down the coast. While I was searching I was rudely interrupted by the loud thunder of a helicopter appearing right above. It came so close that the pilot got as much of a shock to see me there as I did to see him. We exchanged a wave and he shot off into the wide blue yonder. Probably landing at Sydney Airport before I got off the headland. Great Cache in a pretty location. Remember this place during whale spotting season, which incidentally is about to start and should be the best yet. Thanks guys.

What an awesome location and views. Thanks guys for showing us a place had not visited before.
Picked up TB Let The Game Begin, but this was showing as being in nearby cache On A Clear Day. Will log TB and help it to continue journey.
2 great caches in the area, an excellent Geocaching afternoon.
Thanks

Just came to replace a new notepad and see just how close 'On a clear day' was to our cache. Can't believe we both put these up on the same day and only 100 meters apart. Great minds think alike.
What a great place for a cache....
On a clear day ...(I am sure you could see more than one..
Grabbed TB "Crazy Diver Dan", Is he crazy...he looks like a dinosaur.

Riptide with Miss Molly (little_miss_pirate) found this after work and school. Nice nearby cache to our home but Miss Molly got a bit tired after the first 100km.
Great views. Took gift voucher left golf ball and TB diver dan the dinosaur. Actually we were thinking of hiding one here as we went past on Sunday.
P.S look at the picture and you might be able to see yourself J.A.C.K.A
