Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Another cache that is just too far away for me
to maintain as i no longer travel past here like
i once used too . Any takers for an adoption ?
If not will have too archive sadly , but is a very interesting

I enjoyed the area and the drive in, but like the previous searchers, I also failed to find the cache. Thanks for showing me the confluence and the area.
On our way through to Mildura, we noticed this cache & that it hadn't been found in a while. Driving in toward GZ we could see the effects of flooding with logs, etc piled at bases of trees. At what we took to be GZ (& assumed a log may have once been here) we could see the water mark which was about 2m high. We broadened our search to no avail. Great spot anyway, thanks reverb for encouraging us here. Although we didn't leave with a smiley face we still enjoyed the place & experience. Cheers
Training in the general area and had some time on my hands. The boss might not like it if he found out the roads that I am taking this car down. Would be a lot easier in the 4 wheeler, as it was very wet and called for all my extreme driving skills to get through. Interesting spot, thanks for bringing me here

We were never going to miss an opportunity to visit a Confluence of rivers, especially two rivers that we have passed over so many times at various locations. We were a little worried that the GeoHonda 2WD might find the going a bit difficult after the recent rains in the area but the track had dried out and, apart from some soft puddles that we had to navigate around, we made it to the cache and the confluence without having to break out the shovel at any point. Lucky, because we didn't actually have one ! Unfortunately the track was very carved up, obviously from some 4WD's sliding around when the track was very boggy.
12th find for the day of 16. Number 12 of 61 for the trip. Caching with Quasar3671. Heading to Mildura to watch the Leonids Meteor Shower from Lake Culluleraine, and then on to SA for some interstate caching. Also part of our Tri-State caching run (Vic, NSW, SA). Thanks for the cache. Nice to see an older cache, but surprised by only 22 finds on it as of when we arrived. Good spot and found at night. Love the night caching.
Found with Blacklegend17 at 11:45pm. Find number 12 for the day on our way to Lake Cullulleraine to watch the Leonids meteor shower.

It took longer than I was expecting to find this cache. Even then I'm not that we were on the intended track, as we had to walk about 400m to get to the cache. Not that was a problem, the weather was ok and thebush in the area was great.
The weather has been very wet, and I would think that the tracks would have been impassable in a 2 wheel drive a couple of days earlier. No real problems today though.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Found whilst on a geocaching expedition through these parts with Dad aka 'Late for Dinner'. Experienced an enjoyable picnic lunch on the river banks in the silence of the mighty, but low level river. Took nothing, left behind the geocoin and signed log. TFTC, Cheers Rav 4 Raiders
Found it again 6/9/2009 found checking our found list this one didn't show up so tracked it down only to find our entry in the log for 28/1/2008 on the way back from a weekend at Swanhill.

Great spot for a morning cuppa on the drive east. Found with Teri who was on her first week of caching exposure (and enjoying it too). Took a little while to find the right track, on the way out a sheep suddenly stepped out of a huge hollow log. Bizarre. TNLNSL, thanks reverb.
stayed a couple of nights on my way back from sydney.
loved the spot, thanks.

The long way round to mildura, but an interesting part of the river system. I was quite suprised to see how defined the junction is. Thanks.

Nice place along the river, took Mrs. Krabappel TB and will get to to Elmore or Bendigo. Its a shame she missed the Jamboree at Elmore
A slight detour on our way to Adelaide. Nice location, could see us coming back here camping. Dropped off Mrs Krabappel TB and kids did some swaps. Thxs for this one wouldn't have known this spot existed.
We thought if the bug is in the right state it might reach its destination sooner!

No one has been here for a while. We enjoyed a lovely drive by the river checking out the pretty camping sites. We will be back to camp here.

Found by Mary & David at 1700. We tried to get here 16 months ago, but the track was a quagmire and we couldn't get through. Today conditions were much better. After some recent rain, there were a few puddles here and there but the track was basically dry. The scenery was spectacular and well worth the detour. Coloured bark, water views and, of course, the birds. Not a soul about, but we think the Major would have approved of our modern sport of navigation/exploration. Took a smiley face, left a spanner. Cache contents in fine condition. Our thanks to reverb.
As usual if there is more than one way in we will find the wrong way first. About 1.5km in on our first try we came across a low branch that the Landcruiser wouldn’t fit under. With no easy way around we decided to back and try a different approach.
This time was easy and pulled up 100mt from Gz, walked over and had the cache in hand after 5 minutes
Took nothing
Left Kangaroo Keyring
Thanks Reverb for bringing us here, unfortunately work calls (fireworks for the Robinvale 80 ski race) so we are unable to stay and enjoy the surroundings

Found with Skippy and Lambchops. Fantastic camping spot where the Murrimbidgee meets the Murray - we'll be back. Took AA batteries , always useful to fuel the voracious appetite of our Garmin, left Xmas Koala. Many thanks
Found on the outback tour with Carmen from Germany.
Camped 180m away from GZ for the night on a lovely spot on the river.
TN but left a clevis that we found in the Flinders Ranges.

Found by djcache at 1900hrs.
After initially being a little off due to a wandering signal I found it.
Took nothing - Left AA batteries as cache contents are a bit grim.
Great spot, (except the flies) would be lovely to camp here. Had to keep going though as had to be in Mildura in time to get dinner before everyone shut their doors.
Haven't been up this way for years and now twice in two weeks. Must come back when I have more time. This is a 24hour trip to be a witness in a murder trial. Up today back tomorrow. Oh well.
Thanks for the cache.

we had long search for this cache, but eventually found it.
it was a nice walk but hard to find where the cache was because we weren't sure if we had the right coordinates.
took a bouncy ball and left a lady's glove

Lots of rain over the past 24 hours, so we were not hopeful. We'd stayed overnight at Swan Hill, so the first access road we passed was due south of the cache on the Murray Valley Highway. We could see it was a bog from the main road so continued on to the Passage Camp turnoff almost west of the cache. This road was in a much better state, and we were able to get to the T-junction at the river about 2km from the cache. Unfortunately, the road surface changed at that point and became very muddy and slippery. Even with the maccamobile in 4WD, it was sliding around as if it was on ice, so we opted for discretion and retreated. We'll be back when condiditons are drier.
