Checked this one out again early this morning it's still gone and obviously no maintenance has ever been carried out, Shame to it's an awesome spot! Maybe some else could put another cache down here!
There is always an easy way and a hard way to get to a cache and Deputy D0g and I defintely took the easy way on this one so we eren't quite as disappointed that it was missing. According to a couple of the local fishos there used to be a container in the rocks but has been missing for a month or so.
Some of us took the way the GPS directed... (and trekked ankle-deep in mangrove mud), and some of us thought about it and took the other route. Being one of the former group, it was a bit sad to get to the end with nothing to show, but muddy sneakers aside, it was tops fun!!!
Caching with my bro, Mr Ruffasguts4*4, of course he is gonna take us the longer muckier way!! Ta RAGS, I much prefered the mud to all the hills you took us up and down today.!! Pity this cache has most likely been muggled. Mud, mud, glorious mud!!!!
Trudged through all the mud around the mangroves only to find 2 muggle kids fishing at GZ. Whence asked what we were looking for they promptly told us " oh that would Have been the plastic box that was hidden between those rocks there, all the locals know about that one, Sorry it's gone" we looked in the spot they believed it was supposed to be and with 6 avid cachers we are sure it's gone.
Very nice spot. I sat here & had some lunch watching some kids fishing off a boat nearby. Before long they moved on making the cache an easy muggle-free find.
Took geocoin to move on. Thanks,

Pleasant spot by the water. Cache was quite obvious..fromrock, so i placed a rock in front of it after returning it to its hiding place. Left coffee coin took coin.
Disappointed with myself should be easy to find but we didn't!!! oh well, Thanks for the hide cache and will come back one day...
13.20 Disappointed!!! sevabo and I looked around for the cache for a while with a beautiful day but couldn't find it! Never mind!
The first cache for LegoLads! 4 year old very chuffed with swapping his Lego for a slinky.
Great little reserve. Found the cache with LegoLads on their first hunt. Had to watch the geokid as there are many bottomless pits and quick entries to the water on the way. Well hidden cache. TN&LN. Hoped to find a TB but still missing since 2007. Thanks for the hide.
Easy walk and cache should be easy to find... not that many places to hide it. Will be back.
Now this was a great and unexpected little walk. I was originally in a hurry to grab this but once on the trail I slowed right up and just enjoyed the walk for a walk's sake. Pleasant outlook from the rocks here as well.
Took the hint and it was immediately obvious to see the cache. Grabbed it and did the deed and just lay on the rock and read through a few entries.
Grabbed the TB for its onward mission and re-hid the cache a little bit less obviously.
A great afternoon walk....Thanks heaps!

Went for a walk with Tina after a walk from the oatley end of the bridge. Found the entry to the park but took the wrong path. We went the long way around and climbed over a few rocks and ended up at GZ.
Took 'pirates get more booty' coins
Took USS Munsing PC1228 geocoin; will take it to Canberra
Left slinkee
Signed log.
Stayed for a while to admire the great views. Truly a quality cache.
Walked back the right way through the park and went to lunch at the como pub.

Muggy and hot was the day as we pulled up at our best guess access point for this cache. This turned out to be spot on and we were soon wandering along a path to the water's edge. What an excellent locale it was - we sat on a very convenient rock outcrop in the shade whilst the cache duties were carried out over lunch. We had the place to ourselves apart from a few watercraft going up and down the river. It was very peaceful though - a very good urban cache. We made no swaps however dropped off the Chip TB and USS Munsing coin.
Nice find. We had to wait for the rain storm to stop before we made our way to GZ. We became quite wet and muddy on our way there, but the reward was well worth it. Beautiful spot and beautiful hide. No sign of the Geocoin though.
WanderingAus wandered by on day 139 of a 6 month trip Wandering Australia and despite a thorough search failed to turn up the goods. Checked every nook and cranny within about 10 metres from GZ, went down every likely ramp, but to no avail.
On the bright side I was able to claim a find for GA0094 NSW State Survey Marks by Swampgecko, mark number 42093 is just a couple of metres from the GZ for The Thousand Lightyear Stare.
T4TH anyway Drunken Gunmen

Why is it that I always seem to find the hardest way in, but the easiest way out when seeking a cache? I would suggest that you park at the end of Central Ave, and head west, down what appears to be a private driveway, but is actually an extension of the roadway. Keep to the left footpath, and follow the stairs and track down towards GZ. Good luck....
I on the other hand headed north at the end of this road and had an interesting time slithering down to the foreshore, and then scrambling around to the cache, through mangroves and mud etc.... Still the cache was eventually in hand and then it was a mad dash, along the track I should have taken, to get home before the geokids arrived home from school. TNLNSL TFTC....I think! ha ha.

Came across a couple of muddy muggle kids who had gone for a walk from Grandma's house..she will not be too pleased when they return...Thankfully they did not stay long and we could get on with our search, but alas a fishing boat settled in to drop a line over...ahh that's better they dropped their lines on the other side of the boat, so whilst they sat and chatted with their backs to us, we nabbed the cache, although I must admit both our statures made it a little difficult, but we managed...now we also have the second set of clues to head off and due the Pleasure Grounds multi nearby...all we need now is the PDF file....TFTH
A great cache site. Have often paddled the river but never seen it from this perspective. Didn't even know this reserve existed. Co-ords were spot on and fortunately we didn't need to get the feet wet. TNLN
Wasn’t sure which way to get to this one, but like always we got there in the end. We’ve got to learn to follow the trail and not just the GPS. Spectacular location, the views from the houses above must be fantastic. A nice easy find once at GZ.
Thanks Drunken Gunmen for giving us another great reason to come and explore this area.

A nice stroll through some more Sydney suburban bush that we had all to ourselves. The GPSr went a little bananas but a check of the likely spots came up with the goods. Mr bloopy actually spotted the hidey-hole and mrs bloopy did the leg work. Enjoyed lunch looking out over the water. Lots of spiders on the in and out so be prepared to be get tangled up in web. TNLN.
@1400. TNLN - T4TH. Grabbed Blinky Bill TB but didn't see Hayndog's Lighthouse Seeker TB...
13:00

well we found it but with a bit of disapointment as i wanted to do a coin swap but whoever is geocache hq decided that he is going to keep them all from august to october if they are placed in this cache so dont leave any coins for them or beleve what it says in the inventory cause it's proberly not there. any way needs new log book i did not have a spare to leave there sorry drunken gunman so maybe the next person could leave one, but it is a nice spot to sit on the rivers edge thanks
Don't you hate it when you travel to a cache and the inventory is missing..... We found this one pretty quickly.. This area is amazing, so quite, peaceful..
Thanks TNLNSL

Must concur with the previous finder. No coin present.
A typical Drunken Gunman cache. Nothing devious and good view.

I took a pleasant walk through the bush led me to a beautiful rocky outcrop on the water's edge. There weren't many boaters to worry about, so I could search unconcerned. I soon found likely spot and the cache was tucked away safely in just that spot. No coin though, just a cryptic note that all coins will be removed over the next three months and returned later. Not sure what that's about...
An easy find in a very nice location. The cache itself was visible from a mile away!
Cheers.
Cheers.
Nice spot TFTC dropped off lighthouse geocoin - although this site doesn't actually boast a lighthouse maybe it should. Oh and when I replaced the cache container I camouflaged it with 2 rocks, as when we found it it was screamingly obvious.

Walked the streets of Como from our fist cache of the day 'Bug Powder Dust' down to the water, what a lovely spot, should have bought lunch. Damp day did not quell the teams spirits, our 2nd find of the day found by Fred after 5 minutes search using clues from TwighlightMan's log, pleased we had done Aladins Cave as Aladins Cave and the hint directed us straight to the spot.
Left by different route and off on foot to the Como pub for lunch.
TNLNSL
Thanks guys, very pleased to be finding some lovely parts of town we have never seen before - and we live so close.

2 of 2 for the afternoon at 6:20 Mrs Us had a meeting to attend, so we couldn't attempt the other 2 we hope to get to - oh well another day.
Cache found after a bit of a look around GZ. Great views from up there - we didn't even know this place existed, and we only live about 5km's away!
Cache contents were pretty ordinary - I wonder if the muggles who found it placed the paddle pop sticks & peg in there???? Mmmmmm hope so. TNLN
Grabbed the King Boreas 1000th Hide Geocoin from the cache & replaced it with the Uckermark Geocoin.
Also grabbed the clue to the Space Machine
TFTC - Hope you weren't Drunk when you placed this one....

This is a fantastic spot. The locals that live here are so lucky. Took a detour on the way home from the beach, glad I did. No muggles except for a few water muggles. I'm sure one boat watched me the entire time I was there and only moved onto a new fishing spot once I moved around a bit. Love the clue, great comparison. The cache is in fantastic condition but a little light on swaps.
Left King Boreas 1000th hide Geocoin. Hopefully this will attract more cachers to such a wonderful location.

Another great Sydney location. The locals must love living here. I put in to practice some of my rock climbing skills to retrieve this one. Although I didn't need to, it was a good spot to practice. TNLNSL
Nice location. Would have stayed to enjoy the day, but things to do ... people to see.
Left TB, for it to continue its journey. Bon Voyage, big man!

Darn it! Decided to go for one more at the end of the day 'cause this looked like a beauty!
The view here was amazing; great place to watch the sunset and just soak in the atmosphere!
Unfortunately we couldn't find the cache - as much as Ivan-Swag tried his best! (Me? I was just too tired and took in the view... )
Will definitely try this one again!

Cache check. All in order, which is surprising considering that it was clearly visible from 3 metres away after a couple of friendly muggles had found it. Not only did they sign the log but they also did swaps!
I've changed the hint to make it a bit easier to find.

(12 noon) Got to the metal plate without much trouble. Stayed around for quite a while but couldn't find the cache.
Our second Drunken Gunmen cache for the day. What a beautiful area. I had trouble getting “Mrs. Wing Nut†to leave. She was perched upon a nearby rock enjoying the afternoon sunshine and the views.

First of two caches on the way to the airport. I had unfinished business in the Shire: this cache! This place is not really on the way to the airport from Rhodes, but I had finished work early, and had a latish flight, so I headed down here.
I had received some help from GEK about the location of this one. That, coupled with the daylight, made it an easy find at 1635. It was in plain sight, but I'm not surprised that I didn't see it the other night; I wasn't at the correct altitude! It seems to have been found several times by muggles, but to their credit, they have done the right thing. [^] Thanks ro Drunken Gunmen for the cache.
I nabbed the final clue for "The Space Machine"; now I have to work out what to do with them.
IN: Toy car
OUT: Karabiner <- correct spelling!

I spent about 30 minutes looking for this one in the dark. I checked the usual hidey holes at both altitudes, but came up dry. I wished that I had a geokid with me who could find it in one minute! I decrypted the hint, but it didn't help me. The GPSr kept pointing me to the same place, but no cache could I find. I gave it away at 1940 after checking all places at least twice. Of course, there was one place I didn't check: the place with the cache in it. On reflection, perhaps this wasn't the one to attack in the dark. Maybe next time.
Tried this one a couple of weeks ago but could not find it.
Maybe the Moon was not in our favour. This time we took the geokid and within a minute he had the cache in his hot little hands.
Love the location.

Lovely spot! Third find of the day for Dernel and I and the nicest location by far. Cache in good condition. Swapped nothing, signed log. Thanks.
What a great spot, took a little to find it but we did eventually, then sat and watched some jumping fish as we filled in the log book. Nicely done and a good start to 2005
We must have only just missed you 'Muddy Diver'. Great spot, plenty of sneaky hidey holes...but we got there. Cheers Drunken Gunmen!!
We came, we saw, but we couldn't conquer. So near yet so far - the cache name says it all. A bit more than Terrain 2 for us, not nimble enough to reach it from the only direction available today. Still, it is a great park with wonderful water views - we'll try again next visit, hopefully in a more favourable part of the lunar cycle.
Looked everywhere but we couldn't find it.
Nice walk and view, so the trip wasn't wasted.

What a great spot...lucky the tide was right! Now I know where I want to live when I grow up. Thanks for the pleasure, DG. Took the whistle, left some finger savers.
Great part of the Shire, had two goes at this one, one at night (no joy) and one this morning, tricky little spot, well done. Took frog and clues, left a dog. Thanks Gunmen. Regards Philma.
This was our second attempt at this cache - darkness impeded our first visit. We found a suitable looking container, but it was only 300ml and had a piece of garden hose sticking out of it - I don't think it was the cache.
After some thorough searching the real cache eventually revealed itself. TNLN.

Got clue No:1. Love the little hiding spot. Spent some time watching the pleasure craft go by.
Lovely spot. Cache was fairly easy to find - got to zero point and asked myself "Where would I put it?", and there it was.
If only I'd trusted my GPS on this one, I would have found a lot quicker - but I thought I knew better. 15mins of searching in vain finally had me look where the GPS was pointing - and what do you know?
Had fun searching for this one. Nice location, thanks GEK. The travel bug is moving again.
Another great Gunmen cache for the day, found in a jiffy.
EcoNic ran into a MASSIVE spider, the squeal could be heard for miles around!
Thanks guys.

SWAG dog and I enjoyed a very pleasant walk along the river. Didn't know this reserve existed. Had to think like the GEKster to find the cache, but it turned up fairly quickly. Took Eternity Magnet. Left mini-carabiner.

Nice, and sneaky, found on the second try with some GEK assistance. Trust me, if you do it at 2.00 am, take 2 torches.. also take your hat off as it will probably get wet...
