This is a stunning location for a find. A dream spot for geocaching! I loved the rocky ledges and the view of the river winding itself through the park.

I will admit that this cache took a bit of problem solving. After checking every possible spot for a hide, I found myself heading down to see up. After a bit of maneuvering, cache was in hand! The log book was mega full and as there was space to hold two, I left a spare one in the container until the old one is collected. This is a hide were good footwear is essential.

Took: Aussie geocoin (first geocoin! *smile!* Surprised)
Left: Blue squishy animal

TFTC! Brilliant location!

Found with the Walenators on our way out to an event in melton we decided to grab a few cache in the area, I hadn't been out to this side of the city caching before so it was an enjoyable day in the western suburbs
cache was found in good condition and we replaced once the log was signed.
Thanks for the cache C@W

Found by one half of Team Ladava around 3.00 pm on a rare day our caching by myself while the other half lay in bed with the flu. Plan A was that we would be half way to Adelaide by now on a week's Geocaching holiday. Oh well there is always plan B.
A lovely walk beside the river with the dog and behold a cache was in hand and a TB retrieved to take on our trip when we finally get away.
Took TB
Left nothing.
I will do a maintenance log for this one as the book is full.

i've read loads of good things about this cache so i was looking forward to doing this one. it definitely is very pretty here, hopefully the traffic noise is slightly improved from pre-bypass days. jane wants to bring her mum here. logbook is chockers...signed the back page...er...cover.

Finally found this one on our second attempt after DNFing it mid-2008. I found the cache exactly where I was looking last time, so I am sure that it wasn't there! I loved the note on the front of the logbook from the neighbour who keeps the area clean and tidy - a geocaching-friendly muggle! Left Cosmo Pup Traveller here. Took nothing. It's good to get this one off our list!

Well Well Well....what a neat little cache.

I have found caches in some great hideaways, and this little surburban hide is up there with them. The actual location of the cache meant I could sit and write my log with a great little aspect. Today was not a great day, but I could imagine a warm spring afternoon sitting here watching the world, and the water, go by.

Thanks C@W, a great little cache.

I ended up taking the long way in to find this cache & it was a pleasant (albeit hot) walk. After such a gentle & enjoyable walk, the actual retrieval of the cache was surprisingly scary for someone who is not keen on heights like me! (even small ones). I think I later brought a smile at the event describing my bum scooting technique. TFTC.

Having just read the previous logs, I realise only now the extent and 'colour' of it's recent history! I found the cache with no hassles today. It was partly exposed, but only when looking at it from a certain angle. I placed a pen in the cache, and provided a ziplock bag for the logbook. Took nothing. SL at 10:30am. I returned the cache to where I found it, but placed it in a manner that would prevent it being accidentally found by passers-by. Thanks once again caughtatwork for the cache! Regards, 38degsouth.

26-Jun-08
Unfortunatly this cache has been muggled.

Several pages have been removed from the logbook and used as toliet paper, to accompany the turd found just a few meters from the cache site. Also found was a note saying "I found your hidey hole, I stole your hippo" or something along those lines.

The good news is however that apart from a few missing pages the cache is un damaged, I have re hidden it in a likely spot, where I found an item that would appear to be from the cache. The log book is still there however it is getting very full.

Please contact me if you require any further details.

Found at last by 'kormok". 1st looked July'07 and then a couple of quick visits but to no avail. Thanks go to the "Clean-up" person for improving the site and not removing cache. Trying out a new GPS (Nuvi 260)- worked great. Unfortunately, lost e-trex our old friend in NZ. - A beautiful area which we didn't realize existed so close to home. Thanks caughtatwork.

Unfortunately a DNF for us this afternoon, after 20 minutes of searching. Looked between all of the rocks, at all levels, but no luck. All we found was a meditation book and CD, which we left in case the owner was returning soon. We'll be back another time to try again.

Found by Mr Emu & Demon Boy @ 10:10 a.m., GAFF2 http://wiki.geocaching.com.au/wiki/GAFF . #5 of 43 on our big "get to 500 or bust" day.

Demon Boy enjoyed climbing all over the nearby rocks (not the cliff) as we walked to the GZ. There were a few walkers along the nice creek-side path, but no one bothered us. Thought we were going to have a bit of trouble with this one, but a re-check of the GPS pointed straight to a location that soon revealed it's treasure. Thanks for the cache (and accurate coordinates) caughtatwork.

Unfortunately we could not complete this one. As we approached the area we saw a guy sitting on the rocks about where we thought the cache was. As we got closer we saw the 2 fishermen right below him. They were withing 10m of the cache location. Next time we are in the area we'll try again.

Found by Bob at 1615

My 2nd last for the day - and a nice spot to stop and have a rest before the long haul through peak hour traffic on the way home to Mitcham. Others obviously have a similar liking for this spot, because the remains of a very recent (camp)fire were evident at GZ. More disturbing, however, was the presence of a very new looking syringe only about a foot from the cache. I would have liked to remove it, but didn't have anything to carry it in and, as it doesn't present a danger in its current spot (it's highly visible and it's not a place where anyone will be blindly feeling with their hands) I figured anyplace else I left it would be more dangerous. Anyway, keep an eye out - the area may contain more which aren't as easily spotted Sad.

I had a crack at this one on my way home tonight. Once I pulled up I read the notes and saw that they said I should have brought a torch. Too late for now. So I ventured out by the light of the stars, a half moon and my pda/gps.

After a few minutes of searching, I thought this might not have been such a good idea. Decided that one last pass and I would move on, when I spied the likley spot. It was at this point I thought that that doing this in my good suit probably wasn't the smartest thing either.

Lots of stuff in the cache, so much that I had trouble getting the lid back on.
