Having found and revisited this cache in the past and as I live nearby, I dropped by to see if it was there or not and it does seem to have gone missing. Cache Rangers if you want some assistance in replacing it, please let me know. Andrew.

23-May-05
We have disabled the cache and will make it permanent. Our only other muggled cache was the first one in Bold Park. The caches in these areas are always under threat because of lots of people around. This one was found by many cachers but is now past it's time. We are replacing it with one in a more remote area.

I couldn't find it after 1/2hour of searching.I think this cache is dead.I've enjoied the view and walk there but my son was disapointed

29-Apr-05
Sad Nope - couldn't find it after about half an hour of searching. Could be that I've lost the plot but I think that this cache may be dead. Shame 'coz I want to drop off a travel bug.

22-Apr-05
Hoping for a quick find to drop off a TB before our return east we were not so lucky. After considerable searching we were unable to locate the cache and gave up dissapointed Sad. Perhaps we were missing the obvious, who knows, particularly as others didn't seem to have too much trouble looking at the logs. Still it was a good walk.

Oh bother, too late to catch "the bug".... Beautiful area though, enjoyed the hunt and the view. Thanks Cache Rangers TNLN

Last cache for the day. Had so many DNFs kinda became disheartened... or maybe it was this mountain top cache that broke me. [xx(]

They should call this Hamburger Hill, because the burger I had for lunch got burned off on this most energetic little jaunt.

Looked and looked and looked. DNF cache, but enjoyed the view. Lovely spot, thank you.

I will return!

Happened to be driving past and had Bugs TB with us so we decided to drop in. Traded a CD for some earrings. Nice area - didn't know that it was here.

This was my first go at Geocaching and it was not successful. I got close i am sure but i do not know if it is been buried. I looked under every tree within the 20 meter radius of the co ordinates.
Maybe I am unlucky and someone has taken it.

Went to the coast to have breakfast. Was definately not the day for it. I have never seen the coast packed so early. So caching is the next best alternative. Found this at 1105.

Tn Left earings.

Thanks for the good walk

Found the cache OK after bashing through the bush. Some pretty steep hills in this area, but you get a good view from the top.

We bagged this cache as a quick dash to cache at 15:15 on the way to a Wildcats game.

This one was on our way back to our (Fawlty Towers) hotel in Scarborough so just couldnt resist. A little trickky to get at at first as the shire was digging near the entry!! Very enjoyable - got the heart going again!!

Yeah. If you come from the wrong direction (like we always do) the cache reflects the sun and is just like a little light leading you to the cache..
Decided to take the path back to the car Razz..

29-Aug-04
Found tonight at 6pm with wot. Nice spot, but we did a little bit of bush bashing in from the little rotary where the fence was. Easy found because we saw the sun reflecting off the top of the cache. Wink
Took the clamp and left a mini-cd.

I got a flash from a Multinova on the way to this one but I was just over so it wont be any points on the old licence just a fine and I'm sure the Government could do with the money. I took the back entrance to the cache as far as I can tell as it wasnt much of a walk and only one steep bit on the path. The cache was easy to find and exactly where I would put one if I did it. Took Lisa Simpson in a car and put in Snoopy toy. This sort of place is pleasent in winter but gets bit hot around summer. Do yourself the favour and do it soon.

WOW, did I take the wrong way there or what Smile I came from East of the cache and entered the Reserve through a turnstyle gate that lead to bush. Yep, no path, just bush. Well, after trecking through that for a good 20 minutes, I came to a paved path (hehe, should have continued along the road until I came to that) any way, let's just say from that point on the path was easy Smile

Good way to spend an hour Smile

We hada lovely walk with the kids. Thank you

11-Jul-04
Nice short walk from the back entrance, at least I think it's the back [?] we didn't see any wildlife but as it was the last cache for the day maybe they were all tucked up in bed.
Took - Keyring purse
Left - Lisa Simpson
Thanx for the hunt Cache Rangers.

With the bad weather finally broken and a nice sunny day decided to track this one down after finishing work early. This cache is only about 1.8km from home but have not been to the Trigg Bushland for years only driven past it about a thousand times thou. Some very short but steep hills in this park and the cache is in a great location, love locations where you can pick up 10 satelites and use the UTM coordinates to see just how precise the location is, just 1m out northwards and spot on easterly.
Left - eye patch sleeper
Took - fuses

Sure glad we checked this out on the map first, those hills sure put pressure on knee's and legs of us oldies, hadn't seen the sea in daylight for 12 month or more.
TravelBug " BUTT WHAT? ", bummed a ride with us to see the sea, left him here and took TB " Shorty " as we may need a 4WD to get back to car. Another place we would not have seen but for Geocaching. The cache is OK but could do with a new plastic bag, didn't have one with use.
Thanks to Cache Rangers.

A perfectly planned winter geocache adventure. Packed the family and the dog into the car, drove to the cache while it was pouring with rain. Rain stopped just as we got there. Found the cache without too much problems, just got back to the car and the rain started over again, not a drop on the family! T: Kangaroo, rubber L: Shorty TB. The cache is looking pretty full now, and shorty is bursting to get out. Thanks for the adventure.

Wayne (red roo)
picked me up at 8:30am for a day out caching and it was pissiting down, we were going to get soaked.
We had planned to find 11 caches this day but Wayne found four more along the way that he had not found, so the total for the day would be fifteen.
we parked on a side road and set off did not take too long to find, lookes like a nice place.
Took lipstick case
left key pouch and a clamp
thanks cache raiders

Wow, this may only be a short walk for the car, but the little hills are really steep. Found with Andrew P easily - once again he was caught napping with his gps while I looked in the right place. TNLN. Thanks for the cache and the hunt.

Thought an early start might let me be 1st to find, bugger.
0630 followed Varuna's swept trail, nice try, glad it wasnt under a grass tree. Great view, thanks for the hunt.

25-Jun-04
There are about 3 correct paths into this cache and dozens that go nowhere. My track log looked like a series of concentric circles about the cache waypoint. I could even see the place from the top of a nearby sandhill. I felt like Alice in the Looking Glass. I get there and 2 people had beaten me to it.

After work, we came and found it easily. What a perfect day for walking and view. Ocean was smooth. TNLNSL except Travel Bug being placed in it. Thanks for the hunt, the cache rangers.
