I cannot change the cache type to a Traditional. So, will archive this one and re-hide somewhere new maybe, or, use the same hiding spot. Thanks to all those who found the cache over the years.

Cheers

boohoo boohoo, found the first couldn't find WP2. Lots of things like in the hint but nothing behind. Sad. Will need to try again and maybe get a hint next time in the area. TFTH Red Face

Ok after a hint from the owner and reading the updated cache page I found my way around this lower end of town.

The difficulty stars are put there for a reason......
I had WP0 to myself and still was unable to locate the whereabouts of what I was looking for, I then moved on to WP1 same thing the GPS wanted one place but the hiding spot was another(this one was very devious I might add (Think I'll use this method myself)) I then moved on to WP2 no problems there but GZ ohh Surprised I must of walked around for 15 or 20 minutes before the goods were located and wouldn't you know it! It was the first place I looked when I'd arrived 20 minutes ago, just as well Webby was there to fall back on(call in this case) I felt a little better knowing that no-one had located it for over 12 months but still I had help on 3/4 of this tricky little multi. Many Thanks Webguy alls well that ends well!Cool

Stopped in here on the way down from retrieving Waterlilly, 2nd WP is still where I eft it, my the lake is quite full at the moment.

Ow my legs, found the first waypoint but alas that was as far as i got...

17-Jul-07
no muggles tonight only no first wp either

10-Feb-07
OK, WP2 (After the park) has been replaced after the fire devastated the area. The Co-Ords in the park have been adjusted, I hope they are closer now. New WP is still a film canister.

26-Jan-07
Fire has destroyed the 2nd WP. Offline till I can rejig a new one, at least looking for it will be much easier now.

26-Jan-07
Took a friend out caching for the first time, and when we worked out where the cache was, let her "find" it. We had lunch nearby on Australia Day so it was a good spot to come, saw some jets fly over too.
Took: Red nailpolish and a whistle, Left: Notepad and 3 Mobile Hand.

The Webguy hotline ran hot today!
This is a very tricky cache form start to finish. Having said that I enjoyed it all the way.
Took Butterfly Sequins & Orange Bracelet.
Left Mattel Pocket Dolly & Kangaroo (Girls like them).
The log needed, and got, a new ziplock bag.
Thanks for the cache Team Webguy.
Regards Philma.

Great fun hiding from muggles!! Beautiful spot and great multi for the kids....especially WP0

22-Oct-06
Last of six finds on a relatively quiet first day in Sydney. I agree with mandaj, except that I would modify it to say: Sydney multis give me the pips! Luckily, I had the Webguy himself with me, otherwise I'm sure I wouldn't have found the vital information at WP1. Even when I was told where to look and what to look for I couldn't find it, and had to ask Webby to show me! Sad (I had even enlisted the help of the three kids who were infesting the facility, in the hope that they might have already discovered it, but that didn't work either.) There has been considerable lopping activity at WP2, but the cache was safe and sound. Once again, I had to be shown where WP3 was, but I consoled myself with the knowledge that even the owner had trouble finding it! Big Grin We suspect that cache creep was at work here. The final cache was a relatively easy find at 1845, although I missed it on the first pass with the torch--it was dark by now). I wasn't aware of the theme for swaps, so I probably made an inappropriate swap, however, you can make it fit the theme if you try. Wink Thanks to Team Webguy for the cache, and for the help in finding it; I'm sure this log would have been a DNF if it weren't for the assistance.

IN: Smiley face (what a girl wears on her wedding day)
OUT: Pink fake pearl necklace and bracelet

Hi, just had to go back and put in some stickers that had "Girls Rule" on it. Thought it was very appropriate and had somehow forgotten to put them in the first time I found this one.mandaj

Multi's give me the pips.

I had to get help with WP0 from WebGuy- alas.Red Face

After that it was pretty simple but my GPS unit is gonna get a kickin if it continues to lie to me...

Enough of that - I took a body spray and a compass. Left fake pink natural pearl necklace and some 3D gardening stickers.

Also cleaned out a face mask that had busted and spilled over some of the contents. BTW the lid is a bit of a struggle to replace - don't think it's due to the contents - I had a really good go at getting it to close entirely - it still does the job - just not as well as it could.

Thanks for the adventure in an area that I had not explored before - it's worthwhile.

Cheers
mandaj

very tricky.lots of head scrathing at wp1.the rest just followed the trail of termites to the rest, great cache.

23-Jun-06
well this was a tricky little sucker.must have taken 3 goes at the first point, 2 more at the second ,don't think i would have found it if for the new clues.great geo cache and challenge. as always good one web guy!!

21-Jun-06
Returned today and quickly located the restored 2nd Waypoint. Third one was also easily found as was the final cache. A cloudy showery mid week day meant the area was fairly muggle free making the searches a lot easier. The weather didn't detract too much from the main scenic attraction of the area - certainly the various waterfowl were much in evidence. Its quite a pleasant spot to wander around doing this nice multi. Thought we had something small enough to swap but alas it turned out not to be the case - so took nothing left nothing. Thanks Webguy for yet another enjoyable multi.

19-Jun-06
found this one with my sister cause she rules lol thanx for the great cache...

17-Jun-06
Visited WP1, the one after the park and found it had become well and truely buried under some termite produced sawdust. Have dug it out, and covered it with a piece of bark. Have adjusted the hint for WP1 to make it a bit easier as well.

12-Jun-06
After being foiled in daylight at WP1 we returned at night and achieved success. Alas, hopes have been dashed at WP2. We've had three separate goes at this - searching for up to an hour on each occasion - in between "bird watching" whenever muggles passed by. Having found numerous other film canisters associated with other mountains caches this has been quite frustrating. I guess it just goes to show that you can't win everytime. As we think we've had a decent crack, we'll have a break from this one for a while but will not give up. For now though, we'll go and fry other fish.

21-Apr-06
Attempted this one twice today. But it was overpopulated by muggles all day. Don't even bother attempting this one during school holidays unless its very early in the morning or late evening.

Spent 45mins tring to locate 1st waypoint with no luck GPS just kept taking us round in cirlces in the middle of a flat grassed area. A little HELP Please???

02-Jan-06
It took a while, but I've finally found it. I don't know why the first location was chosen. The second, third and final made an interesting walk. Great location - TNLNSL

This cache has been something of a work in progress for the last three weeks. I am glad to be able to finally log it as found! My daughter Lindsay, my mate Marty and I spent nearly an hour scrounging around looking for WP2 without success. Have to admit to asking for a bit of help with WP1 and WP2, as I could not find them for the life of me.

WP3 was found quickly and went on found the cache soon after. Lindsay had a lot of fun going through the cache.

Took: LED light key ring & crystal. Left: Saddle club and baby bracelets. SL.

Thanks for the cache Webguy. Marty and I spent a lot of time in the area as kids so it was great to revisit the place.

29-May-05
Hiya, had a fun day trying to find WP1 with no success.

I wonder if it has been muggled - we did find an empty black film cannister and black lid lying on the ground... there were no markings on it...

anyway... there is always next weekend!

19-May-05
WP1 has been replaced and re-positioned and is now much easier, though, the muggle infestation still may prevail. The games afoot once more!

15-May-05
After having webguy take us to WP1 we managed to find the rest of the points and final cache with no issues.

I strongly recomend this cache when webguy gets wp1 up and running again... awesome place. i have lived in the (upper) mountains all my life and never knew this place existed!!

Thanks Webguy for the initial direction and company!

Awesome cache!

HELP! Someone stole my firetruck, and the WP that used to be on said firetruck, talk about having a WP stolen!!

Council, in their infinite wisdom have decided to gut more of this park, and have removed even more of the play structures and things, even the whirlygig is gone as well. I guess kids will just have to play with pine bark chips now.

Taking this offline til I can restore a WP1 sometime soon and then there will be a new set of co-ords. Thanks to Wheres Wally for telling me it was gone. And to think, we were only here last weekend to make sure it was all ok.

Major Bummer!

08-May-05
Checked WP's 2 and 3 and the final cache and all are in their original positions and ready to go.

06-May-05
We have checked WP1 and it is still there waiting to point you further on your journey.

26-Apr-05
Looked high and low and could not find the first waypoint answer. Laying on my stomach in bark, in the dark is not much fun. Are you sure that the waypoint info can still be found here? Has it been stolen again??

Found first waypoint. Plenty of muggles here. Went to find second waypoint but no luck. Will be back.

Thanks Webguy!

16-Apr-05
Well the first waypoint was easy enough, just couldnt find the second one. Looked everywhere we thought it could be but to no avail. Next time maybe ....

27-Mar-05
Kids and mums, even at sunset...some play items taped off, Jumbuck and I pretending to look for a lost child!! After a recent run in with the coppas, I decided to leave the kids playground to the kids! and another day ...

22-Mar-05
Too many muggles to even start looking for the cache.

I'll be back

04-Mar-05
Dona in a huge rush having to get to katoomba in a half hour. The mosquitos left a few of us itching for the weekend.

04-Mar-05
What a lot of girly stuff in this cache. Last one for a long day. Thanks for the hunt. tnln

04-Mar-05
12th and final cache for the day. SWAG agg met up with us for this one to laugh at our efforts. Some waypoints were well hidden but having a group of us made finding them easier.
Thanks Webguy for leading us to some more interesting locations.

04-Mar-05
The 12th for the day, we had to rush this a bit as we were starting to run late for our evening appointment...
Thanks...

03-Mar-05
After some help at WP1 we went on to WP2.We were looking for around 20 minutes and just as the kids were about to give up we found it.We went on to the next one and found it right on zero and flew to the finish. We had fun on this one and learnt a lot.Thank you Webguy for your help and cache. Took-Bracelet Left-Daisy chain kit Mikkiz and Kids

Mikkiz and kids tried to find this cache twice but failed to find it. We are wondering if it is stolen or if we just weren't looking hard enough. Any reply to this message would be greatly appreciated.

Completed as ADAcache, but I am now my own cacher

18-Dec-04
After spending about an hour all told at WP2 I finally gave up and sent WEBGUY a request for help. While I was waiting for a reply I thought I would have one more go at it.

After re-reading the clue and heading out I found it within 2 mins (typical)

On to WP3 and the cache which I snagged about 10 mins after finding WP2

Well done WEBGUY for a most annoying cache

This was our third Webguy find for the day. WP1 was interesting with lots of people about. We did the rounds and found all the clues.
“Mrs Wing Nut†took some earrings and left a butterfly mask.
Thanks Webguy.

21-Nov-04
Due to WP1 being stolen, we will fix asap and get this back online.

21-Nov-04
All fixed and back online! This time with much stronger adhesive, but in a slightly different position.

12-Nov-04
Finally got to finish this nasty piece of work off....
The geckettes weren't with me today. TNSL.

Nice pice of work there webgirls

10-Oct-04
Tried, but there were five thousand six hundred and forty seven people there at wp1 the first time and five the second time past

09-Oct-04
Sometimes one has to get out of bed early to beat the muggles to wp1.
I could feel the eyes peeking out from behind the blinds at wp2.
Muggles walked and rode on the nearby tracks at wp3.
No muggles to be seen at GZ.
tnln as no girly things in the swap bag.

03-Sep-04
Finally got back to finish off this tantalising cache. This time there was no muggles to spoil our adventure.
Mini Rat was very happy with the cache contents taking forever to settle on a swap.... Thanks Webguy

14-Aug-04
Up to wp3 following a late night run on this cache... stay tuned

12-Aug-04
Second attempt on WP one.... still has a heavy muggle infestation.. will have to go back another time

06-Aug-04
This is also a WIP cache for me. I managed to make it to WP2 but there were too many muggles on their way to school for me to continue. I'll have to put this off for another month.

16-Jul-04
WIP, had the Distraction Team ready to go but they did not want to play the game, So I'll be back another time when the muggles aren't as heavy on the target at WP1

13-Jul-04
This is only 5 minutes from work so I drove up at lunchtime. Since it was school holidays, WP1 was swarming with kids and their parents. There were exactly 21,357 people there. The GPS co-ords were spot on so I knew where to look. However because of the number of kids there I would have looked like a park pervert if I checked it out. Reluctantly I had to leave and came back after work in the dark. There was not a soul around.
WP1 was pretty much where I thought it would be.
Those wretched film cannisters! I almost gave up on WP2 until I stumbled across it. I think it was harder to find in the dark. WP3 was annoying. The GPS kept taking me back to the one prominent feature. I crawled all over it but couldn't find it. I found it on the third try. GZ was easy after that. TNLN because I didn't have suitable swaps. Well done Webguy!
BTW, for a cache with a similar theme try "Breakdown and Makeup"

11-Jul-04
Only if you let them.

11-Jul-04
Tangles pointed out a glitch with WP3 where an extra zero was in the co-ordinates to the final cache. So I drove back up this evening and have blacked out that extra zero and all should be ok now.
