Definitely believe I found the right spot this time but the method of retrieval was broken. Have messaged owner.
Found WP1 easily but couldn't find an entryway to stand on top of the coordinates. Was only using the GPS on the app so maybe it needs to be more accurate. I walked around a few times until some workmen asked what on earth I was doing. I said I was looking for a seafood restaurant and escaped but don't think I'm finding this cache today
Edit: after passing back by WP1, I realised that I had the wrong coords, so trudged back for another look. This place looked much more promising, and I even thought I found the tool that others have mentioned in their logs, but couldn't find the cache
We found the plaque at WP1 and completed the calculation with the number. That gave us a very likely GZ. Once there, we looked upstairs and downstairs and then upstairs again. We searched some more until finally the clue made sense, but something was missing. This may need a cache check.
Stopping by and being hopeful. But will need to return.
The WP1 was easy to spot once you are at the GZ. Though, I was asking which numbers exactly are the right ones but punching alternative results into the app revealed quite clearly that one of them seemed a much better choice. So, a short stroll to the next destination.
There I got stumped. Well, with D3 you will need to expect a bit of a challenge and given it was late afternoon with plenty of people out and about, I focused on attempting visual scans rather than getting down and dirty. And this was "upstairs".
A quick trip to "downstairs" right underneath where my satellite map showed the coords would be was equally empty-handed this time.
I wonder if this is a pre-sunrise Sunday morning find? Or a rainy day find? Or what would be the quietest time here for a peaceful thorough stare&search?
TFTH, Ropes! Until next time...

Great cache clever container took longer than I would like to admit to find. Definitely a favourite point tftc.
A walk in Kosciusko National Park was planned many months ago for the first week of January, before the now infamous fires were but a spark. As Christmas came and went, and the fires grew worse, I was not aware that fires were also starting in Kosi National Park. A day before we were to fly out the park was closed for a few days due to nearby fires, so with the chance of still going, we headed to Sydney. We waited and waited for the warnings to clear, but sadly this was not to be, and in fact, it has gotten much worse and the closures continued. We were not going to Kosi . While this was an inconvenience for us, our thoughts are with those who have suffered so much worse than us in this devastating event.
We decided to stay around Sydney and Newcastle for the week, and salvage as much as we could of our holiday. We had some great walks, cliff faces, beaches, swims and rocky crags. It was a fantastic time all around. Thanks to all the CO’s for the work they have put into these caches.
Logs were signed as The Bromance for Seffnjarah. CrookedPete, JeznDez and myself to save room in the logbooks.
Really should not have decided to walk - it was really hot today! Spent far too long looking in the wrong spots - but seffnjarah had the right idea!
Thanks for the cache.

Over the the past few years, the Bromance (comprising CrookedPete, Seffnjarah, SwellerFungus and most recently JezNDez) have enjoyed road trips, bushwalking, overnight hikes, mountain climbing, kayaking and other adventures in search of some elusive caches. The first planned adventure for the brand new decade was a multi day hike in Kosciusko National Park bagging Australia's highest dozen peaks and all nearby caches.
Enroute to our adventure, Australia's bush fire crisis unfolded, and with the Kosciusko region on fire and closed, our plans gradually morphed to a caching road trip back to Queensland, collecting unusual and rarer caches along the way.
We completed the nearby earthcache and then, attracted by this multi's unloved status, stopped to collect the clues. Seffnjarah and I relocated the air-conditioned car whilst our other mates made the walk in the heat. We all met at GZ, where Seffnjarah spotted the cache.
Some logs were signed with individual names or initials if log space was an issue, others with "Bromance". Our groups brand new "Bromance" stamp also got used on some cache logs.
Thanks Ropes

My family and I travelled down from Brisbane to Vincentia and Canberra to spend the Christmas/New Year period with relatives. Yesterday my fellow geocaching team members from The Bromance (Swellerfungus, Crookedpete and JezNDez) arrived in Sydney to join me for a planned hike in Kosciusko National Park (ultimately cancelled due to closures by bush fires). The plan was to head to Canberra after collecting them from the airport but the smoke was so bad in Canberra that we decided to spend a few days caching in Sydney to see if conditions improved.
Because of the late change of plans we did not have an organised list of caches to find, instead we identified caches to target on the fly. This was one of the caches we managed to visit.
After visiting a nearby earth cache we set about finding the information. We realised we were not at the right level to obtain this, but some research soon paved the way for the calculation of the final coordinates. JezNDez and Swellerfungus decided to head to GZ the long way on foot, while Crookedpete and I moved the car closer to the final location. Meeting up at GZ we hunted around for quite a while before I finally noticed a telltale detail that led to the discovery of the cache. Logbook stamped with The Bromance team stamp. Good to see a find on this after 10 months unfound! TFTC

Cache check ... all good last week. Has been some bridge maintenance of late. One of the 50lbs will have it!
It’s the last day of the 7 day “streak” geo challenge, so we headed over to Ryde this afternoon to see what we could find to meet the requirement. Also took the opportunity of visiting a waypoint of a longish MultiCache that we have been slowly working on. We had a total of 2 finds, plus 1 waypoint and 2 DNF’s , for the afternoon.
After grabbing the nearby waypoint information for our long running MultiCache we next stopped off at WP1 of this MultiCache. Found the information we were seeking and soon had some final GZ coordinates loaded into the GPSr, then headed off to see what we could find.
Unfortunately we were unable to find anything cache-like at or near GZ. We did spot some remnants of tethering material, but nothing much else. Obviously it’s just too well hidden for us. TFTH anyway Ropes.

High muggle traffic, found coordinates but didn't find cache after back and forth a few times.
It was a lovely day for geocaching and we planned a route with not 1 but 2 bridges. We found WP1 without difficulty, and did the arithmetic, but then noticed workman as we walked to the cache location. Alas, they had established a work site, around the exact location.
Old and rusty it sure is. Once I found the dates solved coodinates and walked to gz it was a bit of looking and thinking and waiting for muggles before I had cache in hand an signed. Tftc. It is interesting this is still here and standing all rusty
Everything is old and rusty here, visited with Ahpere but was unableto locate te cache.
Got to WP1 but which year!!!! Eventually arrived to the GZ I believe was right but had no luck finding the cache.):
Can out today with a mission to find some old ones to fill missing months. This was a quick solve. But l need a tool to retrieve the cache at GZ but soon had it in hand. It is good to go for the next seeker. Thanks Ropes for your placement Cheers (Favorite point awarded )

This was a great little hode for a cool winter night challenge.
It took me a few laps to close in on it.

No luck here either at 2pm. Had GZ in my sights and the coast was clear but was again too exposed and I felt too uncomfortable as I searched for the cache. My crippling fear wins again. I’ll have to return to this and Opposite Congregation with a caching buddy. L’chaim!
Found with frazel and nikomax for the second time! After a recommendation from the owners at the previous cache we thought we have to do it! Tftc
Tricky to find in the early hours of the morning. But finally got it
Thanks for the cache

#98. 8:30am. Good Old Rusty !!! I cross this beautiful old steel bridge many times a week on my morning walk to & around Olympic Park from Ryde. Such style, such class, an engineering work of art. I've often wondered & thought, "There should be a cache on this thing so others can be drawn here". Turns out there is !!! I had a filter on my app that hid Multis. Doh. TFTC
Found our way to the correct level, then the plaque which has been strangely painted over in brown paint to match the wall! Really guys? Did the calcs and headed to GZ. Not far and after checking the hint I spied the required item to retrieve the cache. Eventually had it and sneakily signed without muggle interference. Truly is a rusty old bridge. Busy traffic of pedestrians and cyclists. TFTC
Great multi. Plaque info is painted over but readable. Cache is well hidden. TFTC Ropes
Heading into Sydney on the Meadowbank Ferry for the last day of Brickman Awesome. We had about 25 mins before the next ferry so I thought we should do this multi while we were waiting. In hindsight it wasn't the best idea as we ultimately missed two ferries trying to find the thing. GPS was pretty good suggesting something which gelled big time with the riddle etc ...but sheesh no banana! We walked away after about 30 mins of searching and on the way back to the Ferry wharf decided to check an area by default seeing as we were passing by and ...whaaat? There it is. What an absolute fluke! Coords appeared to us to be between the two places in hindsight but I gotta say the suggested entry point really confused us pedestrians in terms of choosing the right level? Either option is a T1 lol. Anyway TFTC, Ropes.

With multis being the flavour of the week for the Mary Hyde souvenir, this one fitted the bill nicely (thanks for replacing). Got a great parking spot and managed to collect the needed info and work out GZ. I spotted what I was looking for pretty quickly. Unfortunately there were a stream of muggles approaching, so I went to visit a couple of nearby traditionals and returned to find the coast was clear. Retrieved, signed, photographed then set it free once again.

WoooHoooo... electricity works are now complete and Old Rusty is again ready to find!
Disabling for short time as work will commence soon to run major power cables over Old Rusty to supply electricity to the forthcoming Wentworth Point expansion!
This was a really cool cache! We quickly checked to make sure WP1 wasn't down below as we were there grabbing another cache, but it was obvious it wasn't
We then quickly got the clue and did the maths to get some good looking coords that made sense.
It is pretty cool that you can walk across this bridge, but you can't drive across it! It's almost like a short cut. We got to GZ and waited for some people to walk past and scratched our head. Not many possible places, but I guessed the hide quickly and eventually spotted it.
Very sneaky, thanks for the fun

Had no problems deciphering the co-ords for GZ. The tricky part was finding the little bugger even though we were fortunate that there were hardly and muggles around. After reading the clues and logs, we searched the general area, we noticed something slightly odd and was rewarded with cache in hand. TFTC.
Nice cache and a relatively easy find once you crack the code. Coordinates were spot on. Just started fishing recently so that helped with the hint;) Muggle central on a Saturday morning but worth it for a bit of history across the river. Tftc
What a tricky little hide, found with the help of Snickersallan, and Geomum Bluewattle[8]
Found with the help on Snickersallan, Bluewattle and Bluewattle Junior [:x]
This was a fun Multi to do with Bluewattle, Bluewattle Junior and Bluewattle Mini. Loved the old bridge, has certainly stood the test of time and is in good condition. We had trouble finding GZ and a likely hiding spot so had to PAF to check if we were in the right area. Turns out we had to widen our search, change sides and then we quickly spied the prize. Thanks Ropes and TFTC
I am house sitting close by and had better find those 'close to home' caches.
Because I dod not know the area it took awhile for me to work out HOW to get to the published co-ords[?] But I got there eventually. Then it was quickly off to the final.
I made an assumption on the type of hide here and (eventually) proved correct. About 15 mins of searching before spotting it. [^]

As I was doing this cache it was raining, so luckily I had the bridge mostly to myself. Figured out the co-ordinates and made my way to GZ, however that's when it went downhill. I looked everywhere imaginable, in every crevice, trying to find the '50lb' (which I didn't), and spent the good part of an hour pacing around. It got to the point where I was just walking in circles, singing a little song out loud about how much I hated this cache (which had very.... colourful language), when ..... FINALLY! VERY clever hiding spot, not at all what I expected but it definitely left me grinning as I walked back across the bridge. TFTC!
I frequently run through here in the morning and admire the sunrise over the Parramatta River. Found WP1 and did the maths easily, however the cache eluded me for a while. Intense muggle activity early in the morning- fellow runners, walkers and cyclists getting their daily fix of exercise- makes it difficult to search in earnest without looking like a bit of a weirdo, and a couple of quick searches while out running produced no results. I pondered the clues for a while, then the penny dropped and I knew exactly what to look for. Spotted it easily this morning, but had to return under cover of darkness like a thief in the night to sign the log without being seen. Clever hide.
Out with Team Merlin in order to find our daily cache to keep our streak going.
Back to make a DNF a happy smiley. Being in the area today we close by and walked straight to the calculated coordinates and searched. Looking at where we were on our last visit we then decided to have a look on the opposite side where we widened our search area and this time we came up with the goods. With the cache in hand, we both signed the log before replacing as found. The cache log and container
are in good condition.

Out with JJCC for an afternoon cache run in order to find our daily cache to keep our streak going.
Having previously come away from this cache with a DNF back in September last year, we had an opportunity of catching up with the CO in February for aLeap day event and cache hunt. This meeting rem8nded us that we needed to come back down to this cache for another look. Parking close by we walked 7p to the calculated coordinates and started searching, casting our eyes on the mountains side revealed nothing, so we switched sides for another cast and this time hooked the COs elusive minnow. With the cache safely in hand, we both signed the log before replacing as found. The cache container and log are in good condition.

I had first come to this one a couple of weeks ago. Got the correct coords easily enough, but just couldn't make the find. Gave up after half an hour. So after confirmation from a previous finder that I had been looking in the right place, I went back and made the find almost immediately. Damn cache blindness! TFTC, cool spot.

I got the coords quick enough but with all the rust around my phone was jumping all over the place. Glad I walked to the end because on the way back I found the attachment I was looking for. There was a nice breeze blowing across old rusty. TFTC.
Today in sunny weather we took a tour with the every along the parramatta river.
Our first stop was Meadowbank followed by Cackatoo island and Greenwich point.
All caches took us to beautiful special view points.

Not so good at reading hints today. Spent some time searching the wrong level. On the right level we quickly got the roght coordinates and found the cache location. Lots of muggles passing so it took a while to find. Clever hide. TFTC
Looked for the sign at the wrong place but read the hint and got it. A nice walk from there to GZ where we spent a few minutes before understanding the other part of the clue. Thanx.
Tried this one a few weeks ago and found cache but couldn't retrice it from its location. Decided to attempt it again. Eureka. Quickly had CIH. Signed log. TFTC.
Tftc, couldn't spot it until I got a better perspective. It got a bit stuck trying to retrieve it but managed to get it.
I was hoping the weather would leave the area fairly empty but I was wrong. Got the coordinates easily enough and looked around GZ whenever the coast was clear. I had a fair idea of what I should be looking for but even so I wasn't expecting it to be so hard to spot. I got there eventually however. Thanks
We were out for another fun caching morning with Phantom Cyclist. We worked out from the available information where WP1 was and then did the maths to find the cache co-ordinates. The cache then eluded us for quite a while. It ended up being a combined effort with one suggesting it might be a particular type of hide, another acting on this and spotting the tell tale clue and the third retrieving it. It was good to be able to sign the log and claim a smiley. Giving it a fav point because it is a good tricky hide. TFTC.
Went to WP1 found the information did the maths. Walked to GZ and eventually found the cache with goingplaces2. TFTC.
Sneaky hide! Glad we came past on a public holiday! Not too many muggles about. Tftc
Claiming a DNF today out in Meadowbank with Team Merlin and geo kids. Found that we were initially at the wrong level so eventually found WP1 and did the maths. Walked to the calculated new coordinates but we were in no luck. We will need to return another day to find this cache. Lovely spot and a nice little place to visit.
Visiting Meadowbank with JJCC and we just had to do a cache run whilst here. After a DNF for Shepherds Bay we walked around looking for WP1 only to realise we were on the wrong level, so we worked our way around to the path off Bay Drive. Once on the correct level the information was easily found and we walked to the calculated GZ from WP1. Searching around we couldn't find anything and decided to drop down a level...but reading the logs on our return this was an error. Needless to say the cache eluded us on todays visit, so will have to return at another time.

#446 came over to Meadowbank after work. This was one of the caches that I was after. Worked out how to get to WP1 where I got the information required to solve for GZ. Went for the walk to where my GPSr and spotted what I needed and soon had cache in hand. Had to walk away to sign log as cyclists kept coming past with no one around replaced log and replaced cache. Thanks for the cache, always good finding an early cache
Had the chance to swing by here today.
It took a few min to find a way from where I was originally.
Then found the required information and did my maths.
Took a short stroll and was pleasantly surprised with a quick find.
The high muggle activity was the hard part in this for me. TFTC.

Streak day #176 - since I will be a linesman for the first time on Sunday I needed to get the proper referee jersey and whistle. The nearest skate shop to me is skaters network in Rydalmere. So after work I trekked out to the shop and got my skates sharpened too. On the way back home it was time to get some caches. I'm trying to knock month hidden dates off my list and this cache caught my eye. I grabbed a couple of other caches whilst in the area. I ended up in totally the wrong spot not once but twice trying to find the info for this multi. One of the wrong spots was more dangerous than the other, but I was still too far off, so I figured a different approach was necessary. I went back to my car then headed to where I thought I needed to be. Once on the right side and at the right level I quickly found the required information to solve the GZ coordinates. I got back in my car again and drove over to the entry point. Although to be fair I probably could have walked, but I didn't realise that until I got there. At the GZ it clicked fairly quickly what the hint meant, now it was just a matter of finding it. Took a little while by torchlight, but I managed. I was signing the log when I noticed muggles off in the distance. I turned off my torch so I was less obvious then hurried to get the cache back as I found in. Luckily they were still far enough away not to have seen anything. Phew. TFTC. A clever little multi.
16/3/15. 11:51 AM. Cache #2332. Streak day #267. After finding "Return the balls" across the river at Meadowbank, I came here for my second visit, almost two years after my first failed attempt. Given that the suggested entry point is in Rhodes, that's where I drove to, making it only a short walk to the GZ that I had calculated earlier.
Most of the muggles that I saw today weren't on bikes like last time but were on foot, and because they were passing by at a much slower pace, I felt even more self-conscious about searching here, so I wandered back across to the plaque to confirm that the year matched what I'd seen on the internet.
When the coast was finally clear, I set about looking. I'm not sure if the hint has been updated since my last attempt or not, but it seemed like news to me, and made a bit of sense, as did some of the more recent logs. I decided to look for what might be only a small visible part of the cache, and eventually found what I'd been expecting. Made the retrieval, signed, replaced and headed for home. It's always good to redeem an earlier DNF. TFTC }:)
This has been to on the hit list for a little while now. It must have been August when I spent about an hour on this bridge. Have passed it many times on the train since where it mocked and jeered me; but no longer! In hindsight, doing it in the dark didn't help much, but today the hide was spotted in under 5minutes! A 'Lengthier' than expected retrieval added to the fun. TFTC!!!
Eventually figured out how to get the information required to find the cache. Once at the spot I spent a very long time hunting up top and down below. I decided to do one more check up top since I had to head back that way anyway. I read the and logs description carefully and picked up on something that I had ignored earlier.
I had an idea what to look for now, and while I was searching, a gust of wind came in and something caught my attention. There it was! Nice hide and TFTC!

We collected info from WP1 just shy of two years ago. At the time we were rushing off somewhere and had spent our time on the nearby caches closer to the ground. Decided to catch a movie at Top Ryde and came a bit early to catch a couple of caches beforehand. Enjoyed the walk to GZ. Pondered about the bridge being deemed no longer suitable for train traffic and wondered if it is being maintained for pedestrians? Spotted what we thought might lead to this container. Nice hide. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Found it! Great spot. Took a long time. It is not in sight although a small part of it is. Can the next person please trace over the last name in the log? My pen was dying. It says Scott Sherman 11/12/14.
Climbed to the correct level, gained the date from the painted over sign and then took a pleasant walk to GZ. I knew what I was looking for from part of the clue. The cache is not in view but the 50lbs was.
Found at 5:31pm. I have been dying to do this cache since moving AWAY from the general Ryde area, I suppose I look back at this area and see many finds and just a small handful of caches not smilied.
I had never been up on this bridge and to be honest I barely knew it was there. My first step was to locate the entry point which was just a matter of walking towards Shepherds Bay Village from the Meadowbank ferry where I parked.
I managed to find the first waypoint and did the maths with no drama's. My suspicions about GZ's location were confirmed when I saw the 2nd waypoint appear. It made sense after all.
I made my way over to GZ and began hunting around. I could not spot anything and this had me scratching my head for the first few minutes while also patiently waiting for muggles to pass by.
I started to think outside the box and in the end I simply stumbled across the cache which is very well hidden. I'm impressed by this one and also the history of the ol' bridge.
SL - TFTC Ropes - top job!

Did the math, got the spot( hooray I can still add up!)
Didn't see it, went to office and read up on the computer, easy easy find on return.

Found waypoint 1 easily after looking for a parkingspot for way to long. First calculations had me in a totally unlogical spot? Ah, wrong number! Second calculation gave me a very logical spot, so I went there, saw the limitation of options but still didn't find anything?

We get out of motel to drive around to Sydney find few caches... beautiful weather for 2 days...

Rode our trusty steeds across the bridge to the waypoint and gathered the required info as the odd train and muggle went past. Calculated GZ and soon had the cache in hand. Nice little hide.
Spent a fair bit of time seaching but came up empty handed. Might be better during the day. Will be back soon.
Found Old Rusty already on Sat but had no pen with me. Was yesterday heading from Meadowbank to Blue Mountains but had to wait for the train for 20 mins. Took the walk to Rhodes and logged.
2nd last cache for the evening ... Sun is starting to fade but I was certain I had time to grab this one as well, so I head to WP1 and grabbed the required information but damn ... I'd left my notepad behind. Oh well ... will have to write it all down on my hand
So once I'd made all the required calculations I headed down to the GZ and started looking for the cache. My initial thoughts as to where it was were way off and with the peak hour commute traffic I was starting to get frustrated with not being able to find the cache and was just about to give up. But then it was all quite on the bridge ... no walkers ... no bikes riders ... and what is this I spie ... yes ... finally CIH !!!!
TFTC Ropes ... loved the old bridge and it was such a great walk for the afternoon.

Oh no no no! After doing the maths we got to GZ and something didn't seem right. Thinking about the clue now we stuffed something up. Will return as I think I have a better idea now of where GZ. Thanks for the hunt!
We were in the wrong spot - additional hint has now been read and we'll have to head back on another day to try again.
Excellent cache. Great location I did not know. Great hide. Favourite. SL TFTC. I had almost given up and then I checked the logs and knew what I was looking for, and very soon had spotted it. When I had CIH I realised I had seen it on my first approach and dismissed it as not being a possibility.

Hmmm this ain't good starting my night with a dnf. At what I feel is the right spot. There is a tell tail sign of activity here but I cannot find the damn thing. Looking for a way to hide a cache here n not the cache yet still coming up empty handed. Hmmm hope to return soon. A extra hint wouldn't go astray.
I walk from Meadowbank station over the bridge to Rhodes station and I found 4th caches for today.
#198 (2 of 2 today)
After the previous DNF, and the COs comments, I rechecked the clues (ie my photos) and spotted a stupid error. That explains why there was nothing to be found the last time.
Decided today was the day to collect this and another nearby cache, so after finding Water Fountain, I continued on to here, and made my way to the corrected GZ.
Muggles weren't that much of a problem. After the ones who were there when I arrive had left, none appeared for a few minutes, allowing a careful search. The problem was an iPhone jumping around. Nevertheless, even with a 10 metre area to check, I had CIH quite easily.
I even had time to sign the log with no one in sight, and shortly after rehiding the cache, the muggles returned. How thoughtful of them to stay away for as long as I needed.

Nice and easy but a little bit squeeze as the way home from work traffic kept distracting me.

This one was a little tougher than D1.5, I thought; luckily was able to find it!
WP1 answer seemed a little ambiguous to me (maybe just overthought) it, but one seemed to make the most sense
Took a while to find, but was very satisfying, as was the walk! Bit hard to get a nice photograph, though
Lovely location, TFTC!

Got the clue, crunched the numbers.
Looked in two possible spots, but no sign of any cache.
Gave up after about 30 minutes.
I think if there's one more DNF the CO needs to check.

One should not be looking for the cache ... but alas, look for the means to the cache! This is a cache hidden in a true style of geocaching!!
Didn't really understand where a cache could be hidden there and as the time ticked I had to move on. Will keep an eye on this one...
