Excellent hide! Shame it is untended, and could do with a new eclipse tin (nothing else will fit!!!!!). TFTC
What a superb old gadget hide. The eclipse tin needs replacing but it’s just hanging on, now it’s 16th year since placement.
The eclipse tin has seen better days but the cache is still is perfect working order
What a great spot! Arrived just as it started pouring with rain, but persevered and got it. Slippery steps but worth it. May want to replace the container as it’s not in a good way.
Phronimos, KrystalKath & Tama the geohound have moved to the BOP for seasonal work, but with no work today time for exploring. And despite KK’s protestations this could involve a little geocaching.
What better than incorporating a beach (KK’s preference) with a missing Jasmer month.
So we found ourselves here. A quick find on the way down, a walk (run for Tama) and steep climb back up was very satisfying. This cache container sure is showing its age, but log good and duly signed. TFTC and the opportunity to fill a missing month on my Jasmer grid.

Today, we had a nice day at this very nice park! We took the chance to made some Caches. Thanks for the cache!
So I decided to introduce a muggle to geocaching. He had no idea really what he was looking for. After a little hesitation he joined in the search. After a little hunt I spotted it. He was like ooohhh. Lol. Nice one to get him started. Great spot. Tftc
Had a short time to kill in tauranga so the dog and I wandered down to find this well placed cache. Thanks to the good hint it was found and logged in short order. The high tide prevented a further walk down the coast for others so some left for another day.
Nice little walk down here, manged to time it right for low tide. After I found it I went for a bare foot walk along the beach in the winter sun. TFTC
Nice walk along the beach but a bit pressed for time with the rising tide. About to give up and then spotted it.
Nice hide. Just missed taking a photo of the sun going down too darn it. Lovely spot here.
Over in tauranga overnight and I slipped out between showers of rain find this cache. Very happy to claim the smiley today as it was a previous DNF for me, TFTC
Found with livee_nz after her football game at Fergusson Park. Livee found this one well before I did. A really nice peaceful spot to sit while logging the cache. Thanks!
A beautiful day to be out caching with Sarahbee20 and we found this one without any trouble. A lovely setting and a great hide. Tftc.
This was number 15 of around 30 of a one day geocaching adventure with KathyKaches. We enjoyed the secret little beach walk, and this was a very cool wee find. Beautiful day for caching and we had a great day
wAS JUST ON TIME WITHTHE TIDE THIS MORNING TO FETCH THIS ONE; eNJOYED LOOKING FOR IT; tHANKYOU;
As it was high tide and Mrs Washer had her dog with her we couldn't resist going down the stairs to see the lapping waves and high tide upon return to gz, she spotted it instantly and so was a quick find, mislead by medium size so unfortunately couldn't drop a tb here today. Thank you
Looked long and hard but no luck... found a painted systema snap lock lid but no box..... is that part of the cache? ?
Out caching with iammrwalker, kiwis69, 11hpg11 and HKCB to mission it around and about Tauranga.
Oh yes, that bucket. [xx(] was not worth! Looks like everyone else had been opening it too! A great spot.

Joined forces with HKCB, 11HPG11, Kyb3r and iammrwalker for a caching splurge around Tauranga. We had an earlier than usual curfew for today's caching mission, so we set off from the Tron at 5am to maximise caching time. Great fun with lots of laughs and lots of entertaining tales as is usual on our group outings and even better to be rewarded with so many quality hides: we were most definitely very impressed by the effort made by BOP COs.
LOTS of laughs & gasps here coz we checked out the large sized (decoy) cache first. Try it - we dare you!! Once we recovered from that, with several pairs of eyes & hands hunting for the cache, it didn't take too long to find the real cache, nice one, TFTC

Out and about with Kiwis69, 11HPG11, Kyb3r and iammrwalker for a bit of a mission over in Tauranga. With caching time limited for a few of us, a half(ish) day leave pass was given from our respective muggle partners. With a set in stone time of 2pm to be back at home to maximise caching time a 5am start was agreed on. Still we managed about 6 hours of caching time and managed to find around 35 caches throughout the morning.
We all enjoyed the day out, and I think we all agreed it was a little long between drinks. A bonus for the day was the high level of quality caches we found. A big thanks to all those CO's for making it an even more memorable day. We signed the logs as HOAC, a group name we go by from time to time.
Wow a niced sized cache at GZ, this was a easy find......until you open the bucket!!! Made the find a lot more memorable but I don't think it was put there by a geocacher. Once we had replaced the bogey cache and continued the search a very cleverly hidden cache was found. Well done on the replacement, worth a fav point for the effort.

I found this cache along with HKCB, kyb3r, Kiwi69 and 11hpg11, we signed most of the logs HOAC and a couple with an abbreviation of our Geocaching handles to save on space and time. We came over to the Bay from Hamilton, leaving at 5am and getting back to the Tron at 2pm to appease our respective partners. I managed to nab about 35 geocaches on our quick trip. We had a great time, shared some unforgettable work stories and some very humorous cringe worthy innuendo. The Bay has some incredibly creative CO’s and we were really impressed with the quality and variety of hides.
I think everyone who goes looking for this cache should check the bucket. Go on! I dare you! Open the lid and have a good look, not a quick cursory look but a thorough search!
Then check elsewhere because its not there. Nice cleaver hide, the container size threw us for a minute but I noticed something a little different and soon was waving the log at my green and gasping companions. Thanks for the cache and the unintentional memorable olfactic experience.

Out and about for a quick 'half day' of caching today with a good sized group of Hamilton cachers. We were time limited so left at the usual 5am before calling it a day at 12.30pm which meant we could be back in Hamilton by 2pm and I think we just scraped in. A good days caching none the less and managed to knock off a few great quality caches. Today we signed the logs as HOAC as a group name, which consisted of HKCB, Kiwi69, Kyber, Iammrwalker, and myself. Thanks to all the cache owners for their placements which enabled us to have a great morning in Tauranga.
We all spotted the 'decoy' and unfortunately we peeked inside. Do not recommend!!!!
Once we had semi recovered from the great smell of the bucket it was onto searching. We tried to find it as quickly as possible so we could get out of the area. A novel hide, very well done!

Came down here with daughter bellbox and geo-pup. We bypassed it before reading the hint. Even with the reduced GZ area it took a few minutes to find it. Cool hide! TFTC
Don't think it's the big bucket with the purple lid and definitely don't open that. WHEW!!!
Walked down the steps counting carefully and all I saw was the "decoy" so continued down.
Walked up the steps counting carefully and Ohhhh what a nifty hide.
I really liked this one. TFTC

Had a good look but we with try again another day. The previous logs are intriguing!
Just noticed that this one had been put back into action found it ok... thanks for the hint clever little camo ...enjoyed the walk always nice around this area thanks for the cache
We were setting a run for a run on Monday night and incorporated this cache into the trail. Very nice hide. Thanks for bringing us here
It seems that the cache has gone so we need to replace it. We will create a new one then enable the cache again.
We found the box... but without the lid and nothing in there...
We send a picture of this to the owner.

We found this one really quickly - the box was laying on the floor, no logbook and no lid is there anymore... it needs some checking . mallorcatommy is going to send a fotolog as a logproof..
Every day we are traveling around is same but also different. Today we had again the pleasure to visit some very beautiful spots and were also able to find nearly placed geocaches. I thank every single owner for placing it and giving us with doing this an other good reason to come here.
What a great hide. Love the camo. Nice little hidden walkway too. Thanks for bringing me here Bridegeway
Creative cache...well done! It had slid down the bank a bit, fallen over and come apart. Soon had it sorted and back on its 'feet'. Left a gold pirate coin. tftc
Second cache for the evening with my daughter I got her to count steps then I retrieved once we got to ground zero log was a bit damp wasn't in bag put back in bag once I signed log very windy here tonight,

The GPSr had us at the bottom of the steps. Found reasonably quickly with the use of the clue. Good hide. #662. TFTC.

Liked to camo here. The Outer had quite a bit of water in it which I emptied out. The inner was sound and dry though. Another beach I would not have found without geocaching. TFTC
Nice hide, well put together. Quick find with the hint and very happy not to have to climb these steps from the bottom, so I suppose a 'thanks for the placement' is also in order. That's us for Matua so far, look forward to returning when some other caches are placed or enabled..... [^][^][^]
Created a new cache and replaced it. Coords might be out so follow the hints carefully
This cache is being disabled as it is not able to be accessed due to a fence having been put up in the area while repair work being made to the retaining wall.
We will reactivate it when the repairs have been completed.

Great to find a larger cache in this area. It was a bit damp and sandy so we wiped it and the swag with a paper towel. Left a penguin and Nemo.
Our 999th cache!

Found on the way back from tied to the tide. A well hidden walkway as the people I was with are from matua and had no idea it was there. TFTC
The beach sure was hidden today! very high tide. managed to time my rock hopping and avoid getting too wet. Great cache location. Thank you for bringing us down here. TFTC

'31 Days of Geocaching' Day 18: Another brilliant morning after a wet night and Mrs was working a 12hr shift again so up to me to keep this going. I am pleased that we still have a number of local caches unfound and initially selected a couple that did not involve any stair climbing but there were lots of muggles around so thought I would try this one. A lovely spot it was today the tide was out and the sun was bright for a winters day. Signed the log then had to check that I had put the correct date on. Day 18 complete are we there yet? I am a big fan of Geocaching but 31 days in a row is a hard ask. Thanks Bridgeaway for adopting this cache and keeping it active. TFTC SLTNLN
He he. Not much of a walk when the tide is in. Will have to come back sometime when the tide is right to explore the walk. TFTC
We had a day free so made the trip to Tauranga for a day out and
to catch up on a few caches. We walked around from Fergusson park
while the tide was out.

First geocache found! during high tide to boot! Was a great first place to explore and had a lot of fun trying to avoid the waves!
First geocache! Was a fun little one that was pretty easy to find but a mission to get to because we went at high tide. Well worth finding!
Low tide and lots of mud. Mrs S was a bit worried that Mr S would take a swan dive into the murk. Yes, it was well hidden by 2 new kiwis. Very good.
Thanks Bridgeaway.
Thanks Bridgeaway.
Found this one fairly quickly as it was quite obvious and semi exposed from Mrs 2NK's lower vantage point. Rehid a bit better behind a bigger item that still matches the clue but will keep it hidden from muggles' eyes. TFTC!
