Logs
Had a good look around, poking in holes and looking at all the trees. Checked previous post but unfortunately was not able to find.
Fallen trees and branches in area so exploring limited. Dune drops away. Brown snakes in area so not keen to wander far from main path.
We spend three nights in Maryborough to clean up the leftovers.Found the cache with TBU1BIKESU and signed the log.Tftc.
We are back in one of our favourite areas for a long weekend away from home. We left our caravan in Maryborough and took off to visit those caches left and right of the high way. So we went for the first time to Woodgate. We found this cache and signed the log.Tftc llourd
Found while taking a stroll along the esplanade, Thanks llourd, cache is in good condition
Pleased to log such an old cache. Glad it is still in play. We noticed that the log shows that GEM_54 repaired this cache to keep it operational - thanks so much for your effort. And Tftc.
We notice a few dnfs on this one .We went for a look. Finally, we found the cache. The poor thing was weather beaten. Replaced cache and log, and left things for the kids to take. All good here now . Hint it's at the bottom of three dead tress. Attached photo is of the damaged cache.
Found the exact tree that everybody else found by the look of the photos but cache is well and truly gone
Counting down now to the return to work day on Wednesday, it will be tough after 3 1/2 weeks of travel and caching. On our way back north with alphag_25. Decided to visit Woodgate as something a bit different and to get this old cache here, plus all of the others in this lovely little locale. Intention today is to find some of the older caches to fill in some spaces. A lovely day here for a sit by the beach. TFTC
Thanks for bringing us to this area. Log sheet wet but able to be signed. On a caching holiday from Mackay. In the search of old caches and ones to fill DT grid spaces. Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment with mackay_geocaching. Have mostly had clear sunny days on our trip.*Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Everything is wet ..needs attention..little bit of a hard one as the co-ords attention a little out..beautiful area though. TFTC
On our way home from a huge roadtrip down south, in which we completed our Ausmer grid, I went to claim a find on the challenge only to see I had somehow missed one. A quick scramble and search showed this cache with the same month/year. Thank goodness!!! As we were wrapping up our travels with a celebration at Rainbow Beach it seemed only right to just go the extra mile and get it done. So after checkout and saying our goodbyes to all we headed for Woodgate. Id read a few logs so knew the GZ had been a victim of cache creep, but found it in the end. Then what do you know, my stupid pen decided to pack it in. I tried my best to make our mark but could only manage the indent of ATLH. You can see by my photo its there though, as evidence. This container really needs replacing. Had I of known I would have done it myself but after three weeks on the road caching, all my supplies were used up. It would be terrible to see this oldie get archived because of lack of maintenance. Could the next finder please help?
This one took a bit of finding. Absolutely saturated so didnt sign it. Thanks for the pics from previous finds otherwise we wouldnt have had a chance
Coordinates are a bit out, but found using old find photos. 2nd find for my birthday!
Tricky find, paper was all wet so unable to sign! Great fun hunting though, loved it!
Coordinates off but got the little sods and enjoyed the location. Will be coming back with my bagpipes. TFTC
No kangaroos today. Coordinates out for us by 20m a previous picture in the logs helped a great deal. Signed and replaced. TFTC!
No luck for us today. Read a few previous comments but still no luck. Well be back to try again next time
Took some finding as not near the coordinates. Thanks to others for the photos. It was the only reason we found it. Was full of water and the log was wet. Needs a new log. Didn't have anything on me today.
Coords definitely off a bit for this one. Thanks to previous photos we found this one. Saw a kangaroo on someone back patio! Found on a weekend trip to Bagara. Thanks for bringing us to Woodgate
This Cache took some while to find but because of the other loggs WE found it thank you! No Roos around today
Crim_son managed to find the cache in the trees
Such a nice place.
Thank you for hiding!
Such a nice place.
Thank you for hiding!
Finally, we found the cache about 10m south of gps coordinate, but that was to be expected as the ap said it could be out. It's not in a Tupperware container but an ArmorAll cylinder. We left a cheeky frog.
Found at 11.20hrs. Off to Woodgate today to get some more smiley faces. Never been here before. This one was a bit off the cords. Thanks for the photos we found it after some time. Replaced as found.

Took a bit of time to find this one. The co-ords are a bit off so make sure to have a good look around. Find #5 with Chewy_330. TFTC
Co-it’s for me where a further 10m south. I followed the gully clearing I and eventually found it just at the base of a tree at bottom of sand dunes.
Up visiting a friend so thought to check out some caches while here....gps bounced us around a fair bit and coords are off but found it!
Staying at Burnett Heads with friends and came down here for a drive. Our watching muggle friend found it. Tftc
Found & signed, coordinates are off & container was different and smaller than Description.
Went on a road trip today with Aaron to Childers then onto Woodgate then back to Burrum Heads for the night

Would have loved to have seen kangaroos having a picnic here but alas, the mob were teaching the joeys how to swim in the "surf". Stunning overcast day here and very glad to have been able to drop off Hedwig TB. Finally got you further north, little one. TFTC.
Found it. GPS co-ords we’re a bit out. Smelt like someone had taken a dump nearby !
Kids struggled to find it, took 5 secs for me, the first timer. Big head now? Maybe. Take the clear opening and follow your gut.
Not a Tupperware container and just lying on the ground so not sure where it should be. TFTC
Found while staying in the area for a few days TFTC the log is very wet
Day trip to Woodgate. Great spot for a picnic with the cache nearby. Quick find
A day trip to Woodgate to visit some friends. Lovely stroll along the beach. Log was a bit damp but we managed to sign it and returned.

After a lovely stroll along the beach we headed to GZ and found the cache. There is a fair bit of dampness and old wet logs but one dry log which could be signed. We then caught up with some friends and saw so many roos on our way out that evening!

Bit of a trek thru the bush but got there in the end. Contents a bit damp and new log might be handy. TFTC.
Find 2 of 4 here in Woodgate this afternoon. A quick walk in to find this one in the first place I searched. Signed my name and returned all to where it was found. TFTC llourd
Thank you. A fun find. Lots of cute trinkets. We didn’t take anything or have anything to trade. Wanted to leave our pen but it didn’t fit.
GPS is spot on. Found and swapped a treasure (kids love the treasure ones) re hid it again
Probably needs new log soon
