Out and about today before flying home tomorrow and stopped by this virtual. No problems finding the answer, which as been sent to the CO.

13:26 Today the trip brings me from Guernsey to London. The fastest way would be to change to the underground at Liverpool Street. But I decide to do some caches there first. This is my first virtual in the UK!

Pour la deuxième année consécutive et pour le plus grand plaisir de MiniGC, nous continuons notre tour des capitales européennes en train ! Cette année, par sa facilité d'accès par Eurostar, nous faisons escale pour deux jours de visites intensives à Londres.
Nous en avons profité pour montrer aux enfants les monuments phares de cette ville trépidante. Des gares d'arrivée à Westminster en passant par la City ou les paisibles et immenses jardins de la ville, ce fut vraiment une découverte pour nous et il n'est pas improbable que nous y remettions les pieds un jour .
Et comme un voyage ne va jamais sans une petite pensée pour le géocaching, nous en profiterons aussi pour découvrir ce que nous ont concocté les nombreux owners avec une grosse vingtaine de Tradis, Earth et Virtual disséminées tout au long de notre parcours.
Grand merci à eux de nous faire découvrir d'une autre manière tous ces endroits !

Avec cette petite Virtual comme objectif, nous constatons que le GPS aime nous faire tourner en rond... Entre les travaux dans les rues proches et dans une partie du parc, nous avons un peu de mal à trouver l'entrée. Une fois cela fait, nous nous retrouvons dans un endroit très paisible où peu de monde semble se balader. C'est un vrai plaisir !
Et au PZ, de quoi ravir MiniGC qui est devenu le plus grand fan des fontaines publiques depuis quelques temps .

Quick business trip to London. Alighted tube at Moorgate so this was a quick detour. Lots of workmen sitting around at lunchtime. Tftc

Dodged the downpours to find this hidden gem in London.

A slow walk through the City having visited the sky garden at the Walkie Talkie and then the amphitheater at the Guild Hall. We timed this with the City lunch hour rush but no one paid us the slightest bit of notice. Now to find some lunch and perhaps to return to this tranquil spot. TFTC.

During my stay in London I visited the Finsbury Circus. It took some time to find an open entrance, the most of them are closed and of course it was the last one I tried... but then I could spot the fountain easily.

My son and I visited London for a couple of days and we visited a lot of caches and historical and interesting places on our 75km walk during 4 days!


At this spot it was a lot of hungry mugglers eating everywhere.

I acted like the stupid tourist I am and took a selfie by the fountain (while my son took a picture from a bench). The mugglers must have thought I really like fountains, since it took me a little while to read the inscription...

A busy one here today at lunch time in the sun, managed to get the details and get a quick selfie without any bother. Liked this one, unusual presenter name! TFTVC

I was here with my husband, gulpertstein, today. He has sent in the answer to the question for us.

Was here today with my wife today, and we had too see what tihs object was . Luckily the construction work did not include the complete park, so here it was possible to come.

Interesting place, and very busy at lunchtime. Looks like there’s a lot of construction going on near here. Fortunately the object was still here undisturbed.

This was one of the few days off I've got over the summer so a caching trip was planned with TheWinfieldwonders - as is usual when we've organised something in advance the weather was dire - heavy showers on and off all day but it didn't dampen our enthusiasm! After completing the Jack the Ripper series we stopped near Spitalfields Market for a cuppa and to plan our return journey to Marylebone - this was en route so decided to pop in. I was a little concerned at the amount of building work and barriers that were present and feared we wouldn't be able to reach GZ however as we got closer there was a path straight to it! Information noted and the obligatory selfie taken and we were on the move again. TFTC x

This was a rare day off for Burton's Are Go! and we came to London as it's now getting difficult to find caches close to home that neither of us have done! We walked round to this one picking our way through the various building works, parked buses and thought we wouldn't be able to do this as the building seemed to go into the park. Thankfully, they have left enough of the park in peace (or piece) to enable us to get to the host. Selfie taken and attached.

I've been past this one a couple of times, but it's always been locked. Not today though - a cold misty afternoon meant I almost had the whole place to myself. Thanks for the cache.

Nice cool spot on a hot day - but it didn't quench our thirst. So we sat for a while in the shade to ponder our next cache. Very busy on a Saturday with the bowls going on. Found at 15:45
