Found WP1 with the coordinates for WP2 but we could not locate it like many cachers before us. We searched high and low and tens of metres out from the coordinates but came up with nothing. Might be time for the cache owner to do a bit of maintenance considering WP2 has not been found for approximately 3 years.
We finally found it! We found cache 1 with the coordinates for WP2 quite easily but could not locate the second cache anywhere
Eventually we decided to go straight for the last cache and used hints from previous posts and skme logical reasoning to work out the rough location
This one took us 4 visits and alot of walking haha

Sent PP1 to do this one with the lads while I caught up on some logging. What can I say I would only have slowed them down. TFTC
We got a wee bit lucky here. Found WP1 all ok, WP2 no luck. But had a hunch where the final would be so went bush after seeing a green man made object and not too much further up the hill we found the cache.
Good to grab another 16 months unloved here.
Add FP an amazing location.

Thanks TeamBernie for placing and maintaining this cache. Out and about with Barnzy12 getting a few smily faces.
This multi has alluded me for years. Have asked a few about WP2. Managed to get the final. At GZ made a quick find. Thanks for the hide.
The kids & I started this one a year ago now & whilst we were in the area for some belated b'day celebrations, I suggested we go take another look for WP2 [:P;]
Knowing where this WP was we parked in a suitable spot & made our way to GZ... There was only a trickle in the stream so the kids happily searched for tadpoles whilst I gave Jase the run down on where I had looked previously [?] I had some ideas about where the WP could be but soon drew a blank, deciding to leave Jase to search alone....
I had looked over the cache page many times & decided that I would go in search of the final instead The kids liked the look of where I was headed, so they joined me in my mountain goat antics... Half hour or so went by & soon Jase came to see what we were up to... He started to hunt to but after I told him that he was too close to another cache he moved along the hill a bit further from where I was searching
By this time the kids & I had returned back to the stream when we heard the "woohoo"ing from above... Well done Jase
Thanks for the adventure The Cache Rangers/Team Bernie... Awesome area

Was in the area with the kids so thought this looked like the perfect cache for us to do! We arrived at WP1 where Master 7 quickly discovered the co-ords for the next stage
Off we went to WP2, managed to keep our feet dry but were searching for quite some time before giving up!
TFTH The Cache Rangers & TeamBernie! Reading back in the logs it seems this one is a little tricky, so cant wait to come back for another look soon.......

*Out and about letting my GPS be my guide*...
A overcast day but no rain at the moment. Having obtained the coordinates from the way points a few weeks ago, I got sick of seeing it staring at me on the GPS. so today was the day, Parked nearby and strolled toward GZ grabbing another cache en route. The last 50 meters made up for the gentle stroll. Managed to grab 15 today with 2 DNF's so a great day out.
Not sure if I would want to swim here at the moment as the water is quite dirty from the rain that we have had. A few fallen trees / branches too. A great container in a lovely area.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment TeamBernie. Appreciate your effort.
Greetings from Victoria.

While in Perth visiting our daughter and her family, we took the opportunity to find a few caches with D/T combinations that are not that easy for us to find in Queensland to help us complete another loop of our D/T grid Between commitments with the family and catching up with other people, we managed to stop by to finally complete this multi which we had started a few years ago on a previous visit to our family.
We had an interesting walk to ground zero and were very grateful that there had not been too much rain recently, otherwise it would have been quite a slippery walk indeed We retrieved the TB to move on, however the container is now brittle and has broken. Unfortunately, we did not have a replacement one with us to assist. [:(!]
Thank you TeamBernie for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

It took us a while to find it but my young 6yo son managed it find out. Yay for us!
[font=Comic Sans MS]We looked, we logged, we left![font=Verdana]
Wow this was a challenge. We visited the first two way points with richlink last year but ran out of time before we completed the cache, so we thought that it would be reasonably easy to nip down the path and sign the log. How wrong can you be!
After quite and adventure Mrs richlink returned to the car flushed and empty handed. It was then that we discovered that the coords she had in her GPS were different from the ones I had in mine. A TXT to the CO confirmed that my coords were correct and another trip in was in was needed, this time we left it up to the geo-hubbies to tie this one off.
Loved this multi R0gue, enough to give it a fav point.

Together with the iluvtrekking team, we completed the first two waypoints in early summer 2013 but had left it too late in the day to get to gz. After dropping our geo-hubbies off to do the Kanadian series this morning, Mrs iluvtrekking and I thought as it was a chilly day, it would be good to finish off this cache. After parking at the start of the walk trail, we decided Mrs iluvtrekking would stay as guardian of the cars (our car had been broken into last year while caching, so we were very wary) while I set off with geo-schnauzer down the track. Geo-pooch chucked a hissy fit and refused to climb the steep slope which meant I had to carry her over my shoulder while tackling the tricky terrain, this compounded the difficulty rating and to add insult to injury, I couldn't locate the cache. So negotiated the rocky descent, again carrying the pooch, and after arriving back at cars, conferred with Mrs iluvtrekking to discover we both had different East co-ords. So expecting to have to log a dnf we headed off to do other caches in the area, but had texted to the CO with our dilemma. While on our way to collect our geo-hubbies, received a text from CO and I then realised I had transposed the East co-ords of w/p2 onto the final. Sent the two geo-hubbies off to scale the slope and after a fossick around they came up with the find, fourteen months after last cacher to log their visit. Thanks R0gue for a challenging multi.

Some dirty bottoms on the way down. Good walk lovely spot , no blackberries though.
Well I know what ROgue feels like when you cant find a cache.
Was with Keego on a wet and rainy morning at WP2 with both our Gpsr pointing towards the river.
Every rock was searched and a wide sweep for a discarded CD case was made. We found after comming the hard way and that was not over the river there was WP2 co-ordinates in the description so there was no need to go to WP1.
After a long search and a call with an accurate description of where to look we could not find this one.
Very well hidden ROgue.

ROGUE'S REVENGE
No one can say that I am a fair weather cacher as today AmstradKid and I ventured out into an area we have spent a bit of time lately. We decided to scout this one out. The caching god was not in our corner this morning, a we arrived at our start point the heaven's opened up. We decided to carry on, ah it's only rain, but it got heavier . We headed for the nearest big tree to wait awhile after a short wait we ventured to the 1st WP and quickly got our feet drenched from the wet grass(note to self, time to buy some winter boots).
The 1st WP was soon noted and we decided to chase down the traditional cache to the East. A quick plugging the co-ords in showed us where we had to go, so we thought. Not sure who to blame for what happened next, the weather, the gps'r or the gps'r user but we did go the long way to the next WP. We arrived at a likely place and started searching all the possible hiding spots, no immediate results. The GPS'r was not settling and threw us around a bit, we looked at the hint, which did no help. PAF was next, and their description of where it was where we had searched, so down on our knees gloves on to do a more extensive and deeper search. Still no WP cache. There were signs of the locals here, bottles and bit of broken glass. Alas we gave up and decided to carry on back to the vehicles. Ah well maybe another day, thanks ROgue for the adventure.

Would be easy to walk away from , but persistance pays off .

Not sure what was going on with the app today as it told us the cache was at the first WP. Anyway found that easy enough and discovered the co-ordinates to the next WP. Found the cache eventually after a long hard climb up ther hill. Wished we hadnt tried using the photos for clues as they really confused the issue as they all seemed back to front. Hard slog as the grass & vegitation very over grown. But hey the dogs had a great walk and this is one of our favourite spots anyway. Any excuse to stop off for a picnic with a bottle of bubbly!!!. Took nothing and left my marbles.
Tremendous walk by the river and nice to see a large volume of water flowing down the river.
Thanks R0que.
Thanks R0que.
Found the first way-point in the first place I looked. however I had a little trouble with the second one, resorted to using the hint and soon had the way-point in hand. The cache was spotted from some distance away, The plastic bag around the cache was flapping around in the wind. Thanks for the walk along this interesting area.
Took a little while but worth the effort, particularly with two waypoints. Second waypoint was hard to find, but persistence paid off.
Started this one on Sunday and finished off today (Mon) lots of exercise on this one but worth it all well with cache, took Busy Beetle game and left Calculator. Thank for this one we enjoyed it.
Coords spot on. Good billy goat work if you excuse the pun. Love the exercise. Need it !!! TFTC
I placed a cache a few days ago and it was knocked back rightly so according to the GC.com guide lines. So to make sure my relocation attempts where not moving it closer to a final cord and in vain I got cracking on the offending Multi
What a nice walk this one turned up to be, tho the next finder might log the cache as damp, that was just me sweating into the log book after that climb, Phew! [^]
What a beautiful spot. Thanks so much for making us take the climb, on the way up we were asking "why" [?] but once there we knew why, so pretty.
Grabbed our breath and Bugleanns Down Under TB
Cheers for a cracker cache, we loved it.

This was actually my second attempt at this one and another miserable fail. Well not really. The first time I had not a clue how to use the GPS and did not have it set up correctly so it did not work; the second time today we found the first CD case no problem (easy find, lovely place)....dialled in the next set of coordinates and got there (methinks) but could not find the second jewel case despite searching low and high. Sigh. Will try again another day.

Tackled this multi for the third time, but this time part of our mission was to replace Wpt1, which we did in a different hiding spot but very close to the original. Found Wpt2 OK and it was in good condition. The final leg to the cache was without incident (ie. we managed to stay dry). Dropped off the Bugleann's Down Under TB.
We had thought that the scenery at the first waypoint was great, but the second waypoint holds something really special. We never would have known this was here.
All in all, a great multi that we thoroughly enjoyed.
PS. R0gue will be updating Wpt1 co-ords very soon.

iPhone couldn't get reception, nuvi thought we were 70m away no matter where we were and the Magellan was too old so it was only accurate up to 10m. Definately want to suss this one out and try again.
didnt find the cache after much looking and biting ants... went over the site quite thoroughly... gps were not much help as there was little or no signal in places....
perhaps its a find for another day...

We tried to get this cache a long time ago but when we got near gz there was a very big coiled black snake there and even though it was asleep it put us off the search. Today we had better luck in finding the cache and no snake. The cache is in good condition. TNLN. Thanks The Cache Rangers
Tried this cache again today after a DNF last year. Sorry to say that this time we had the same result - just could not find that CD case at wpt1. Will keep an eye on it to see if anyone else has success. Thanks for the hunt though - its was nice coming back to this area.
I have done this cache almost 3 years ago under a different team name. If I remember right we found WP1 after quite a bit of searching.....no such luck this time......the gps was all over the place...took a long time to settle but still no luck.
So I must admit I cheated on this one......we searched high and low......might have been wearing the old 3BlindEyes today!.....so off we went onto WP2.....which was not where i remembered it from last time....so no co-ordinates for the final cache....BUT all was not lost....the old brain was still ticking along and we at least found the final cache....and I didn't fall into the creek this time either ....probably because there wasn't much water...
It is still my most favourite spot in the area.....beautiful any time of year....it's a shame not more people are doing this cache.

Okay party people, we are back in business. Both waypoints are confirmed as operational, and I have placed a new cache container with some goodies and a fresh log book.
Now is a perfect time to come out and see this great area, and it's really a lovely spot, so make the most of it!
Hi to the 9 people watching this cache, if you haven't already found it, I look forward to seeing your log soon.

This cache really was a most enjoyable adventure, despite setting off too late in the day. Armed with replacement information and CD case for WP1 I headed off along a delightful path, replaced the WP, then continued on further to a nearby cache, Green Acres.
Daylight was rapidly diminishing by the time WP2 was reached, and it was with some fear and trepidation that I viewed the raging river crossing. Off with the shoes and socks and up with the trousers and I slipped and slid through the icy water.
The hill climb to GZ was pretty steep, but the sad part was then finding the cache totally full of water. All the contents, including the logbook, was saturated. I extracted the TB, much in need of TLC.
Getting a bit worried about the fast diminishing light I scrambled back down the hill, to face that white water crossing again. Shoes and socks off, trousers up, and with even more trepidation now that light was almost gone I virtually crawled from rock to rock, slipping and sliding on the mossy surfaces, very thankful there was no audience to witness my antics.
Hopefully R0gue will be able to get this cache replaced soon, as it is a quite beautiful area of our Perth hills that I thoroughly enjoyed visiting - particularly this time of year, and I highly recommend it to all cachers.

Rated: for Overall Experience
Looks like WP1 has been muggled again, and I didn't have a replacement with me today. There has been quite a lot of movement of rocks around here, so I suspect someone stumbled across it.
Also got accosted by the dog from across the creek today, who was very noisy and insistent that I was on his property (even though I wasn't). Had to get rescued from him by his owner.
I will replace this, but we are going on holidays for September, so it will be after that.

Unfortunately we had to give up on this one. The two of us spent about 30 mins looking for the CD case at waypoint one, but found nothing. If the co-ords were slightly out it could be anywhere because there are so many possible hiding places. Have just noticed that Belken's photo of WPT1 GZ was exactly where we had it.
We see R0gue has been upkeeping this cache - thanks - its such a beautiful area, it deserves to have a multi here.

Stopped in here today as I was in the area, to check up on WP1. Well I'm happy to report that the CD case with the coords was still there. Unfortunately it was well buried under a lot of soil...
When I replaced the WP some months back, I put it under a very large rock, which had a sort of shelf under it, and placed a small rock on top to keep it in place. With all the rain, and the slope WP1 is located on, the 'shelf' under the rock got completely filled in with mud & soil coming down the hill, and totally buried the clue and the little rock that was on top of it.
Dug out the CD case and moved it not far away. It's now under a medium sized flat orange rock, and hopefully shouldn't be getting buried in the mud anymore.

Second visit, still cant find the first clue cache, it can't be that hard! Surely it's gone missing again.
Found this cache while checking out the waypoints for The Cache Rangers. Cache box is in good condition, waypoints are both gone.
Cache is back in working order - go and find it! This is a really lovely spot.
Dropped off El Burro TB.

The clues and cache will be checked and either rectified or permanently archived.
Spent an hour searching for 1st clue with no luck but enjoyed the walk. Note that many mention crossing the river. It is private property on the N side....assume clues and cache are on S side. Some time (6 mths) since previous log so wonder if it is still there?
The Shadow emerges from the darkness once again.
"I alone searched for this cach, hopeing to score the first multi-cach for the Pirates who Don't Do Anything, but I was unsucessful. Whilst searching for the first clue, which, incidentally, wasn't found, I disturbed three different types of ant nests. I will possibly search for it again while in the area, with the help that was enlisted to find 'Green Acres', when there was a river parked in the way..."
And with these words, The Shadow once again melds into the darkness, only to emerge later.
"I returned with enlisted help on the 23rd, still couldn't find it."

Another great spot we didn't know about. A lovely day for a walk, so we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Found the waypoints easily. Ursula found waypoint 2 in no time. The water crossing was good, I jumped over easily, but Ursula slipped and fell in! Poor girl! Found cache easily at 3pm. Good exercise getting there. TN-LN-SL.
Thanks for a good hunt Cache Rangers.

Was a very good day for a walk. As long as you have the right gear. Pays to be tall at WP2. Bel got wet feet crossing the river. Makes and easy job look real hard.
The cache was high and dry. Thanks very much for the walk.

secondf of the day and what a walk it was, found the first wp no probs but the cd case is cracked and the coords are starting to fade,i forgot to fill up the water before i left home so i did it on the way to wp2 which was found after a bit of a search and a play with a baby scorpion, and the cache wass found without any probs.

Nice day for a long walk. Made a few detours on the way to have a look at things and the son to fill his water bottle.
WP2 had us searching the longest but the cache was easy. My swaps are depleted so I couldn't add to the container.

WP1 needs to be looked at as the cd case is cracked and water has got to the co-ords paper.

An enjoyable afternoon stroll through some very pretty countryside. Thanks for the hunt!
Thanx Cache Rangers for checking this out for us. This time we came away with the booty! This is such a nice area we will definately be taking a picnic here next time. On our way up to the cache we had an encounter with a snake, not sure what it was but its head was quite large!!! So just be on the lookout around here (bit of a dodgy area what with all these scorpions & snakes!).

I checked out the clue cache on Good Friday and noticed the fire damage. It didn't affect the clue since it was hidden behind a rock at the base of the cliff wall. However, the cd case had slipped under the rock and when I rolled it over a big scorpion (see picture) was guarding the clue. I re hid it on a rock shelf above the trail so the coords are the same.
Have been meaning to do this cache in ages but just never got round to it. Decided that the weather was perfect and off we went. Found WP1 easily but when trying to locate WP2 we had problems getting an accurate reading off the GPS. Like others we were lead to the reeds and prickles next to the water, but obviously realised there was NOOO way it could be in there?? Started looking around elsewhere in the area but shortly called it off. There has been a fire in this area recently and if we WERE looking in the right area, there is a strong possibility that WP2 has totally melted!!!!
Cache Rangers, of you get the chance to check this out, please let us know if it is still there or not.
Thanx for the lovely walk anyway in a gorgeous area.

Found the cache. What a great area for a cache loved the walk along the trail it really is a picturesque spot thank you for bringing me here. I love this place so much. Took – Deco’s Geocoin # 1 left – Phar Laps friend and signed log. Thanks for the hunt Cache Rangers.
(chwiliwr team catch up log)
Like everyone we had trouble at WP2 and we ran out of time yesterday to keep looking. Today we came back and found it straight away.

For some reason I have not logged this one in after I finished it. I can't even remember the date. It would be early september. We teamed up with some friends who are now the Thommo Hawks. They enjoyed the hunt and have got themselves a gps. We found the first waypoint quiet easly, but had a bit of trouble locating the second, the high rock wall played up with the gps a bit and had me climbing up part of the wall and then sent me into the long reeds near the waters edge. We persisted and eventually found it. cant remember what we took or left as the kids did that
Thanks for a good cache in a nice location.

This is the third attempt at entering this log - surely I can't do anything wrong THIS time!
Team Greydemon, today being Demon Dad, Geoteen2, and Billy the Geo-mutt found this cache today. We spread it over a week as all the WPs are along Billy's regular walks. Lost specs at WP2 (second pair lost in a week) but Geoteen2 found them for me this morning. Billy a bit wary about the pipeline shortcut (river high) but got there eventually and after about 5 minutes found the cache.
Took the small pack of tissues as we were under orders to buy some on the way home. Left wire eggcup.
Many Thanks

Like most others I found the second waypoint the hardest.
Lots of rustling going on in the bushes and undergrowth and I didn't fancy those blackberry bushes either. Took a token look in amongst them (and paid a small price - some minor blood-letting) but then thought surely the Cache Rangers aren't sadists.
Widened my search and found waypoint in a far more civilised spot. My GPSR on the day had it at 6/7 metres from stated GZ.
Strode on to the "Mountain High" part and found cache after a slippery climb over flattened grass.
All in all, a good hunt and a good trek with some nice scenery.
Took: Maths Set & Key Ring
Left: Kids Stamping Set/Mini Koala/Mini Carabiner/Tissues

We searched high and low, through blackberry bushes and up and down cliffs to find the final co-ords. After two visits to the sight we finally gave in and dropped over to a friends place. What a fantastic opportunity to have a cappacino and chin wag with some great people.
Anyway, we managed to have them divulge the final co-ords after dangling their favorite GPS over a balcony!!! Not really - but they did give us the final co-ords. (Thanks LP&N)
Back to the cache. We took our nephew with us for an evening stroll to find it - what a great way to end a day.
Thanks to the Cache Rangers we have had great fun and much exercise finding your caches during our holidays.
Looking forward to coming back for more!!!!!!!!

We tried but didnt succeed!!! Found the first co-ord but the second evaded us despite much searching. Ian delicately ploughed through the rampant blackberry bushes and then crossed the river and ploughed through more!!! He has the wounds to prove it too - meanwhile I held the camera at a more suitable location. I did ask if he needed a hand, he just mumbled something about two of us not needing to be bleeding to death!!! ha ha. And with that I stood firm - just incase my first aid skills where needed.
After much searching and with lunch calling we reluctantly retreated to the first aid box and lunch. We need to go back to co-ord one and double check as we are sure you dont need to go into those blackberries.

Thanks Cache Rangers for a great hunt in a great area. What a magic spot! Not an easy hunt, which made it all the more satisfying. Found WP2 the toughest with the GPSr swinging all over the place. Nearly gave up and then decided to do a systematic sweep of the likely area. Got it. We then walked the balance of the track before becoming a mountain goat and realising my trail-runners are in-need of retirement! We took the Jameson Truck [by far a top quality drop] and left a ex-pat windup kiwi. Saw one bob-tail on the return journey.
Found this one after a couple of others this day.
what a great multi cache to do, I walked the whole way from where I parked the car and enjoyed it very much.
along the river there are a lot of lizards running around in the scrub and when I got down to the waters edge to look at a little water fall or rock pool I saw a marron sitting on the rock with water flowwing over him, I could have almost reached him he was that close I took a couple of photo's and pressed on, second clue was harder to find then the first but got it ok.
I walk up to the location of the cache and found it ok but was worried about reaching for it.
took phone holder
left toy truck
thanks a lot

I began this cache a couple of days ago, but it must have been a bad day for satellite geometry, as I couldn't find point 2. After going back and double checking that I had the correct coords for point 2, I set out again, finding it without much trouble, and headed off for the cache. The water level is down, so I didn't get my feet wet, and the walk uphill is invigorating (after Jurassic Jaunt) to say the least. T: the Didgeridoo CD, L: a drawing set. Thanks to the Cache Rangers for the exercise and the cache.
Came back to finish this multi cache (final co-ords) tonight after work. Last Monday 30/8 did two waypoints and discovered that I have to go back to the opposite side. Decided against the attempt to cross there at the night for safety reason and called it the night. Found it finally just before the day went out. It was quite a steep climb to the final cache. TNLNSL. It was a great exercise and challenge. Loved walking the trail by the water and falls. Thanks for the good hunt, The Cache Rangers.
Beaten By TLC...again. I guessed the trick with this one and reduced my travels but even though I knew I could shorten it even more I chose to do the walk. The track in is fantastic during this time of the year its well worn and mostly undulating. I found the coodinates easy enough even though the GPS was doing the dance of the Needles they were in places you would look but there were lots of places to look. I had a funny experience on the way to the first coordinate. As I left the car and walked along the track I could hear voices (not in my head) and so while walking I looked around to see where they were coming from. There was an old barn nearby and I could see a couple sitting on the grass with a laptop computer so I just naturaly thought they could be Goecachers but as they took no interest in me walking past with my GPS I decided they were the land owners having a quiet picnic. After I found the first coodinate and was returning back to the car I noticed the couple were near a large tree but something didnt seem correct. The girl was standing oddly with her head upright and her bottom pushed backward...sort of in a pose position. It was a pose, she was butt naked and he was doing a photo shoot. Very buxom lass she was. I almost walked off the track in my confused state. I have thought of all the things you would expect to find some day while geocaching but this wasnt one of them. Its nice to see that Pleasant things do happen....and no I didnt take a photo but in hindsight maybe I should have as whos going to believe me otherwise.
