Tried both lookouts in case the weather impacted the navigation but no luck around or under either. Great view.
This one's description got us really pondering our geocaching abilities, was about to give up but then something caught our eye and thought to pick it up and investigate it further and to our surprise it was the cache. TFTC
Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to day1976 for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

Catching up on some late logs that were found while on a trip.
Stopped off here to make this find while staying nearby. Loved the view.
Thanks for placing this cache and doing the maintenance for us to find.

Visiting the area for a road trip. I found An out of the way valley today.
Many thanks day1976 for providing and maintaining this game piece for our enjoyment.
The log book and container are both in good condition.

Fab views. Out with Tiz13 & Rebel Acts. Thanks for bringing me here to this specky spot. Tiz easily found cache. I was rather nervous about falling down cliff. We ventured further down to other viewing platform - again wow but after seeing movie penguin bloom yesterday, “stay away from the rails”. Tftc Pauleigh - great spot
What an amazing Awesome view it was very windy today and chilly but it was worth stopping to locate this cache. I took the honours signing our names before we went off to admire the views and freak out over the height and drop down over the veiwing platform, it didn't help that kbucky insisted on telling us about a tragic film she watched involving a dodgy railing..️
On my way to check out the Thompson River Dam overflowing for the first time in 30 years, I decided to call in here as it has been a long time since I have visited and now there is a cache to find as well.
The river was flowing well below, adding to the great view.
The cache took a couple of minutes longer to find than it should have as the container didn't match the description.
Glad I had an extraction tool to help me get the log out!
All good with the cache

Bit of trouble despite the hints! Fear of did not help! Stunning views on a beautiful sunny day!
Tftc Pauleigh. Well a story to tell today. Have been to this location a few times over the years, including well b4 geocaching was even thought if so it was good to have another excuse. Top gate was open but wanted to get a stroll in, so parked near that and geohound and I set off.
At the lookout carpark, jogged by the only car parked there, thinking, mmm might have to linger a bit if people down at gz. Did spot a driver in the car though. At the lookout, noone about, so took some pins, quick find of the cache, strolled back to my car, noticed the other car had left.
Got back to my car to find a broken window and rummaging inside. So travelled back home via Moe Police Station. No rain so that was lucky.
Oh well.

With the easing of restrictions in regional Victoria I am re-enabling some of my caches in these areas.
Given the current State of Disaster declared in Victoria and the strict laws regarding movement around the state, I am disabling all of my caches within Victoria until restrictions are lifted.
Very happy to put a smiley face over the blue frown face today! Went for an amazing walk with a friend chat chat chatting the whole way and ended up here where the outlook was incredible on such a sunny day. Haven't cached in months (for obvious reasons) so this wad my first one and very happily found it almost straight away this time. Hope I didn't miss that last time, that would be embarrassing! TFTC
I love where caching takes you. A magical lookout on a sunny clear day in my own backyard. Lovely stroll with the kids and don't let the cache description fool you.. a clever hide. Tftc!
Found this amazing place by looking for a new walk to go on. As recommended on AllTrails, I parked at Tyers-walhalla rd and did the 2km walk to the car park with bunna (5 months) in the carrier.
I wasn’t expecting much, but as I walked onto the platform, the view blew me away. What a hidden, beautiful place.
The cache took me a while because I was looking for a Tupperware container and it wasn’t.
Thanks so much for the cache.

I moved to Tyers in late March and sadly, this is my first geocache since then thanks to isolation. A newly converted muggle and I walked to this cache, passed by a solid stream of cars (including one which was carrying the school vice principal who now knows what I do on the sly) and enjoyed the view before committing to the find. TFTC Pauleigh/Day
Getting the kids out of the house and away from screens. Took a while but found eventually. It's not a lunchbox or plastic container.
As restrictions are beginning to ease, I am enabling some of my geocaches that aren't regularly found. I will monitor advice from government officials, geocaching HQ and the local reviewers with regards to enabling more or re-disabling these.
This cache will be disabled until the COVID-19 crisis is over. Please refrain from finding this geocache.

Find #10394
After an early morning parkrun in Traralgon, day1976 and I headed towards home at a very casual pace, picking up a handful of select caches along the way.
I had attempted this twice in the past with no luck(It was missing). Today I was on a sure thing as I was with the new CO who happened to need to replace it. Yes, another DNF avenged. A wonderful view, a great diversion off the main road.
Many thanks to Pauleigh for the cache. TNLN.

Found after a week with friends in Pakenham, heading east and up to Canberra.
Ended up in Walhalla tried to get to the dam, but the road was closed because of a bush fire so did move on lucky so I not was scaurth by the next fire, made it to Lakes Entrace.

Having a lovely drive out sight seeing with a muggle friend when it was suggested to have a look at Peterson's Lookout. Well, I thought, this would be great as the views that had been seen so far were spectacular. I was not disappointed. The walk down to the lookout was difficult (for me) but, nothing compared to the return journey. We walked to the lowest lookout first and then I literally crawled back to the next one. Some people are quite daft and don't have their "caching brain" engaged when out with muggles but, all of a sudden I decided to "check" if there might be a cache nearby. Well, of course there was. After a message to the CO I am logging this as a find with permission. Thank you.

I found this one after doing a nearby exercise in bush bashing.
I was pleasantly surprised by the view here (as I came to this lookout more by accident of choice than knowing it was worthwhile). The view was excellent, especially as the sun headed towards setting. The play of the light through the trees was particularly pleasant.
Thanks for the cache.

Absolutely stunning location! Nice easy walk down, the walk up nearly killed me! So worth the stop.. There's a nice solid table at the start of the path. Nice place to sit and admire the view over lunch!
Found on a quick little drive with NoonaB, this lookout is by far my favorite in the area, before my caching days I used to come out here, relax and soak up the views in the sun, I was so happy to be able to get this cache. Thanks for the hide
What can I say but wow wow wow! I have severe sciatica but was determined to tackle this one. Lucky it was soo amazing, or the walk up limping in pain would have been an entirely different attitude!
Thanks for being me here. Was such a treasure spot. Will definitely be back with a picnic lunch!

Such a beautiful location. I had no idea this was right in my backyard. Thank you
Off We go on an adventure! TeamSmokey-Bear and myself! After the Canada Day BBQ in Moe we decided to visit this cache! And such a picturesque area! I was totally blown away by the view. The walk was very refreshing that was for sure! TFTC! I highly recommend coming out here and bringing a picnic! it is certainly beautiful!
After a great day out 4wd with ses called in on the way back from Erica and went to show a member the scenery and introduce him to Geocaching which I think I've got him hooked on it. And get this cache as last time I was here to get it, it was taken by a muggle
Was happy to see it replace

Bit scared at idea of going over the edge! But worked it out. Container pretty small, not lunchbox size. Also all black. TFTC
Drove all the way down (the gate was open thankfully) and enjoyed the expansive views from the lookouts. Thanks for maintaining this one Day.
I am willing to adopt this geocache. I have messaged the CO and am awaiting a reply.
I think this one could be history so a quick check by the owner may be needed to confirm this or otherwise. Great place though which we probably wouldn't have visited without the lure of a cache!
Well we're not sure if this one has been muggled but after a climbing over, under and around the look-out as well as scampering around the nearby terrain looking in various nooks and crannies we couldn't find it so I guess it could well have been snaffled! I'll flag a maintenance request with the owner and if they are still interested in caching then maybe they could check it out and update the logs.
Enjoyed the visit none-the-less and the views were great so it was definitely worth the visit!

Found this one on the way to the two 4.5 terrain caches. Found pretty quickly and loved the view. Thanks for the cache
We decided to check out a lookout we had never been to and guess what ? There was a cache. Thanks. Silkyie
After being told the cache had been replaced we went for another look. 2 seconds later its in hand. Tftc
Bit disappointed not to find this but it is certainly not on the south side of the lookout
On the way up to do the pair of 4.5 terrain caches we stopped at this fantastic lookout. Certainly a steep valley with great views. We carefully made our way around for the search and had a look a little closer to make the find. We completed the signing duties and re hid TFTC.
As logged by myself and the previous cacher, the cache container had disappeared. I have put a new container and log sheet in but not sure if this cache is in the same place that it was meant to be. Pauleigh... this will need to be checked.
Like Bushfire, we also found the trinkets from the cache. I had a spare container and RITR paper, so I created a new log sheet and put the trinkets in the container and placed it where I found the trinkets.
On our way to Walhalla for the day and just had to check out this cache which is off the beaten track.
Good road in and plenty of room to park and then a stiff walk to the lookout.
Well like the previous finder the container is missing but all the swaps and pencil sharpeners are all still there and it would be a pity to see such an old cache (2004) be archived if the owner does not give this cache some serious TLC.
I have adopted about ten 02/05 caches and will look after them for cachers in the future who will not find these old caches. This guy is too far away from home (Geelong) but I would hate to see this one go.
So please Pauleigh check this cache and replace as it is in a wonderful location.
I have a number of photos taken but will wait until I am home to upload.

Since having a DNF nearly 3 years ago I finally had the chance to return and look for this one.
This time it was in the 2nd place I looked.
A great spot for an Earth Cache I think....
'Scrat' visited your cache whilst on his Great Aussie Adventure.

A long weekend off and so many caches to find.
On a road trip, finding some cache with D@GEO.
The entry from the main road doesn't do the view justice.

After a dubious find log and so many DNF's over the last 2 1/2 years, probably time to put this one to bed and free up the spot for others to use as it is a great spot to visit and to find a cache.
As can be read from previous logs this one has been missing for some time. This place is way to good not to have a cache. If the CO could place a new cache or archive so someone else could place a cache here. Cheers, BWBandit
