What a location amongst the Flora, got some nice photos, funny experience, seemed to walk a full circle, to GZ , GPS appeared to be affected by something, maybe transmission lines. TFTHSL, L Toy Pirate coin.

I almost made it on that caching trip with Swampy but the missus decided to have a baby on that weekend so I had to wait until now to find this excellent cache.

Again, just a set of coords in the GPSr and a 4WD at night time. Just love it. Somehow managed to find my way to GZ and had the cache in hand in minutes.

Rocky Glen Grommets again had a moment of madness when they decided to attempt to drive ACROSS from Alternative routes (the back way) to Power and Water. Driving across the motbike tracks was okay (even saw 3 motocross riders) but the track got narrower and narrower and Mum Grom had had enough and insisted that we drive down to the bitumin and across that way after trying to negotiate a road across for 40 odd minutes. Again, the Groms thought it was wicked!! An easy drive up from the main road and a quick find. Also went to the locationless spot (will need to read up on what we have to do about logging this one!) Picked up wire trimmers and left monkey. Thanks Bunya!!!
Well couldn't get any water here tanks to big but we are having fun looking around. TFTC

First fro the day.
Picked up the prowler52 coin and left a pair of wire cutters for the power available.
Was able to drive the two wheel drive car to within 100m of GZ. Was a bit worried from the other logs. Fun though, I think the hire cars underside is now brushed clean after a week in the Pellet Plant.

I'd never seen one of the Geo-Achievement Geocoins, so I couldn't resist swapping it for a Prowler before I sent it on its way.
This is our 200th find!! In celebration of that, we have placed 'Tweety2 found 100' geocoin in it, to start it on its journey.

Well we made it, but we certainly didn't take the most direct route - I at least had fun bashing around and getting some major tilt on the car, but I could tell the oldest brat boy was a tad nervous at times - TFTC
Visited Power and Water today. Left Albida 02 Ghost Jeep1, took a small toy car. This place has a good view of Whyalla.

The suspension on my little hire car took a hammering but it was an enjoyable ride never the less. Grabbed the Geocoin. Cheers.
Dropped off Scaw’s Coin Town Geocoin just arrived from the UK.
Took BelKen Geocoin #121.
Replaced blunt pencil.
Would finders please replace/add to the (dead) vegetative camouflage if they can (the cache site is just a bit too obvious otherwise and no-one likes a walk-up-to-it find, do they?).

Nice easy find on a beautiful day. Flies enjoyed it too. Took nothing, left Travel Bug Big Blushing Beatle.
2nd for the day on the weekend in Whyalla. Drove close by, to have been beaten on the day by Team Spanner. Grabbed the TB they left but have yet to log in, and left a toy scooter. Found by Richary with Fabiana, Brett & Luke in tow. Cheers Bunya - got the car dirtier on the access track here than I did on the 4WDing!
Second attempt saw a more rationale approach. Unfortunately Corolla was overburdened with wife and the results of two weeks buying of books, antiques etc. At the second serious bottoming out, and with most of the hill climb still to come, Mr Walker took one look at Mrs Walker's face and decided discretion was the better part of valour. ( If that isn't an old jungle saying it should be) Seriously, we picked a number of caches where our 4 wheel drive would be a much more logical vehicle. That didn't stop us on all of them, however. The rest will just have to wait for a return visit.
Went to check cache today and found that Shelldrake TB had gone missing. Fortunately I spotted him. After a month in the cache he obviously took snowone’s comment seriously and went for a drink – but got stuck trying to scale the fence around the tank! (pic) I rescued him for some R&R in our fishpond before he resumes his travels. (pic)
After walking around and around I found this one under the rocks. Left a key ring and took a fridge magnet, the day was very windy but sunny.
After "Alternative Routes" this was a good straight forward find, didn't have any dramas. Used to go up the next hill west (bald hill) in the old volzy as a teenager
Thanks for the cache
Took spinning top
left Go West fridge magnet
Also 'Shelldrake TB' stayed on for a drink. He asked if someone could take him to the cuttlefish

Didn't quite get to this one on my recent trip through. Went in off Pt Agusta road and ended up in a maze of dirt tracks being used by dirt bikes. Can see where the G,Z. is likely to be and will try coming at it from the other road.
We were able to take the road within 30m of the cache. A nice easy find.
Took Winnie the Pooh toy, left spinning texter top. Thanks

Had a very interesting drive in with the 2WD. Think I drove about 6km to cover 2 plus still walked about 300m!
Took nothing left a tigger magnet. Cheers.

No real problems finding this one. We did disturb a rather large centipede that had made it's home underneath the container. We thought it would be appropriate then to take the toy centipede from the cache, we left a Winnie The Pooh toy.
Thanks,

Took eraser, left native animal toy.
Thanks again Bunya

A bumpy little drive and then plugged in to recharge the batteries whislt signing the log.
The last day on a week-long geocaching expedition through country South Australia with Dad (aka 'Late for Dinner'). Terrain like this makes us regret not bringing the Rav 4 on the journey! A short hike through the scrub and hey presto - 'another lunch box!' as 'Late for Dinner' was heard to mutter. [:o)] Took nothing, left a dog shaped paper weight. Thanks Bunya, Cheers Rav 4 Raiders.
Another non windy day but the flies were around. Easy find. Took stubbie holder and left bottle stopper. Thanks Bunya.
Found this one quite easy, had to fight the flies all the way but a nice view. Daughter took the snake not the frog as she told me at the cache and left miniture sewing kit
Third of four caches today (other caches being Why Whyalla, Dig? and Bruce). After celebrating our 100th found cache at Dig? with a thunderstorm it was time to get some mud on our 4wds. So with Langy (TeamLangy) leading the way we took to the tracks in search of Power and Water!
It's amazing to see these "strange" rock formations - just the perfect size to hide a cache in, don't you think?
Found 04/10/04 (4th October) @ 11:30am by Paul & Monique (Team Stargazer)

Spied a relatively suspicious looking location that matched the name of the cache so I headed up the power line track (with Stargazer in tow) just after the thunderstorm that hit as we found the nearby cache "Dig?". When another track presented itself we used it to turn towards the tanks and found the cache quite easily after a smallish walk. TNLN.
Thanks Bunya.
Thanks Bunya.
First find on this beauty. Marvelous placement. I remember coming up here several times when I lived in the area. Thanks Bunya.
