23-Oct-20
I'm going to redo this one

21-Oct-20
Lots of muggles so couldn't look to much

12-Sep-20
Was not able to find this cache despite a 15min search. Noting the last post (and a couple of items on the ground that look like cache "treasures") I'm wondering if the cache is intact? Beautiful spot though.

01-Aug-20
I think I found it. If I did it's been muggled

17-Jul-20
This was a very fun cache to find! Loved the camo! Tftc

16-Jul-20
Not my day - looked in the obvious places and a few others but no luck. Hard as there are many muggles about.

12-Jul-20
Found on 2nd attempt. Tftc!!

10-May-20
In view of the easing of some Covid-19 movement restrictions, I'm re-enabling this geocache.

We have, however, been asked to continue vigilance, social distancing and sensible hygiene practices.

31-Mar-20
To help stop the spread of Covid-19, The Australian and NSW Governments require all of us to stay at home unless we are: shopping for essentials, receiving medical care, exercising or travelling to work or education.

Many of us have continued hunting geocaches – justifying this as exercise – and telling ourselves we're doing it responsibly by avoiding high urban traffic areas, practicing social distancing and hygiene etc. Some others are possibly less careful.

As a Cache Owner, I feel duty bound to follow the lead of wiser heads (wise guys?) and lessen the temptation to break curfew, so to speak. To that end, I'm now temporarily disabling all my hides. Please don't try to log them.

Hopefully, if we all do our bit for our collective well-being, our community will make it through this difficult time.

Let's stay home and work on solving some of the pesky puzzles we've been avoiding tackling. Or maybe get creative with ideas for future hides. And of course we can still geo-chat on social media.

Be safe – and keep smiling!

Found after dark in 10 mins. Natural cover. Tftc

29-Jan-20
It was a lot further down the slope than GZ suggested... visiting family nearby was good to get some more caches.

21-Jan-20
Took me a while! After abandoning ‘All bark and no bite’ I was determined to at least get one today. Finally after slipping and widening my search and following previous logs coordinates (which my phone was saying was about 4m out still) got there in the end. Tftc AussiePam!

22-Sep-19
Had a go for this one some time ago but the light beat us. Previous logs helped us to find it quickly this time. Co ords bounced around quite a bit.

26-Aug-19

Weather: Windy winter afternoon

My daughter was singing at a wedding nearby with her school choir, so I decided to find some caches while I waited. I parked nearby and headed over, and it didn't take long to get CIH. TNLNSL, then I walked around admiring the views around the point. TFTC

Lovely spot
Thanks for the cache

18-May-19
Sat at the bench seat and still a further 15m to go, with muggles occupying the area, I had to wait until I had my chance to wander in that direction the arrow suggested. Quick find and walked back to the seat as where I signed the log from. Tough place to cache when there are muggles about.

06-May-19
Took a little bit of a search to uncover this one, lots of hiding places nearby. Tftc

The vacation in Australia with kimallus continued and we did a round trip walk from our hotel to the surroundings nearby. A few showers in the morning, but soon the sky was clear and we had a great day.

We reached the turning point of our walk here at Folly Point. Nice surroundings and a pretty view. Needed to do as the hint suggested, then a quick find. Thanks for the cache.

Needed a mental health morning, so what better way then to start the day with a couple of caches. Had to wait for the muggles to leave for this one. So took a seat and enjoyed the view. Once they were gone the mission was on. within 5 mins cache in hand. Log signed and placed back where it belongs. TFTC

Located at 7:58pm. #691. I met AussiePam on Australia Day at an event in the city and she begun to find many of my caches after that day. And until today, I had not returned the favour. This was a very nice little hide and it was remarkably calm and peaceful at this time of night. I had wanted to bump up my numbers towards my 700th milestone and thus cached out this way after work. Many thanks for the hide AussiePam, I will be sure to find many more of your caches and I hope you keep hiding more too. Dare I say another iteration of the Bebe Ammo Can?! ‍ This find also fills another gap on my Jasmer grid. Спасибо! תודה! L’chaim! TFTC!

Oldmorty and I had earmarked today as “Aussie Pam” day. We picked a good day too - the highest temperature recorded in Sydney since 1939. My phone read 43.9 degrees Celsius (111 degrees Fahrenheit). It was a doozy.
From Grasmere, we headed to Folly Point in Cammeray. No muggles around. Just as well as we must have looked like a couple of chooks scratching around all the trees and stumps in the area. Having no luck, I started reading past logs and saw an approach I hadn’t considered. As the area was very slippery, I walked down the stairs then scrambled back up the slope. I was almost back to where oldmorty stood when something caught my eye. Another scramble sideways and there it was. Oldmorty came over to join me and we signed the log. Now to negotiate a path back to the top. I knew we should have brought our walking sticks. TFTC AussiePam, and thanks for bringing us to another great area in Sydney.
Back to the very hot car, open all the windows and let some air in. We’re on our way to see some Hobbits.

07-Jan-18
Last weekend frazeydaze suggested that we should tackle the recent batch of caches hidden by AussiePam. Preparations for the day began and today was the chosen day to attempt the task notwithstanding the predicted mega temperature for the day.

After finding the Grasmere Park cache we drove across to Folly Point and after finding parking at the end of Cowdroy Ave and being greeted by a sulphur crested cockatoo and a chap gurneying his driveway, our search began in earnest in the midday sun. Avoiding the slippery slopes we searched all the stumps both high and low and after about 15mins frazeydaze called "found it". Thank goodness as I was beginning to think it was going to be the other way. TFTC AusiePam.

Last of our walk along from the park this morning. Followed the arrow and read the hint. How could it go wrong. Well, apart from a minor slip or two, it didn’t. All well with the double wrapped cache. Many thanks.

02-Jan-18
End of a lovely walk. Free Timers nabbed this on a we were looking in the wrong spot. Thanks for the cache.

A very pleasant stroll along the path from Primrose Park took me to this great spot. What a place to have your home! But way beyond my means!!
The decoy stump had me going for a while, but being empty handed, I widened my search and lifted a few bits to unearth the cache. TNLNSL TFTC

Great cache great view!

02-Oct-17
Tftc, dropped Geokid off at the Grandparents for the day and on the way back decided to grab a few caches. Pulled up here and checked the logs that recommended some different coords. Went down and found the cache under the container. Beautiful Sydney day!

06-Sep-17
Tftc follow the instructions not the coordinates

02-Jul-17
Got to Folly Point and took in the view. Got to where the coords said GZ was and started to look around. Found something odd, it looked too big and was securely fastened to the tree. I then saw a log warning me about it. Expanded the search area and read the hint and still turned up nothing. I then saw a log about Crashes coordinates tried them and soon spied GZ. Had CIH SL and replaced. Cache #169. TFTC

Gorgeous evening walk to find the cache. Thank you!!

07-Feb-17
After undertaking a treasure hunt nearby I decided to attempt this one. Unfortunately, the steady rain became torrential and I got soaked on the way.

I could tell there's normally a beautiful view from GZ but today it was obscured somewhat by sheets of rain.

Nice one, thanks Crowmage and AussiePam.

Maintenance performed and travel bug dropped.

Taking some out-of-town non-cachers on a sight-seeing tour of Middle Head and hinterland.
Failed miserably in introducing them to geocaching as, due to the heat, they wanted to stay in the air-conditioned car while I tried for a few quickish caches.

A wonderfully well stocked cache. But TNLN
TFTC crowmage and thanks AussiePam for continuing to maintain this cache.

I had a little look for this earlier in the week when I found "where dead men lie". But I was under a little time pressure and couldn't complete my search.
Finished work nearby today and decided I had time to do so today. Having a good idea were it wasn't from my first attempt, I found the cache fairly quickly.
Good condition and nearly full to bursting with swaps. (But it's a small cache.)
Tftc.

Decided to head towards Cremorne on today's cache run. This was the fourth stop. Walked around from Where Dead Men Lie and saw the obvious spot on approach. Checked it out thoroughly as well as quite a few nearby spots. Sat on the bench to contemplate and look at some photos. Nothing too obvious so extended my search. Found it after about 15 min in a spot more matching the hint than I'd previously been looking. However, my iPhone showed nearly 10m away. Try S125, E555. SL and took TB.

Thanks for keeping this cache going AussiePam

08-Jan-17
Today, I checked out this rather lonely little cache. It's in such a great spot too... It's where it should be, and everything is in good order. It contained a travel bug - which I've rescued and will move on. I added a geocoin.

I adopted this cache, but had originally had some trouble finding it, myself. I have therefore increased the hints. The obvious is not always the way to go when you're hunting for vegemite.

Cache on and Prosper!
