Down in Bunbury for WAGB running up the numbers with AlliedOz & Kyzabra. Today's plan was to knock off 30 odd labs and grab whatever else took our fancy.
Always love a virtual.
Team Red Roo I found your cache at 11:03am, this was the 14th of 45 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 7402.

An amazing view from here with the wind picking up near the top. It’s archived but love the cache!!! All answers sorted!
What a great view! This one has been on my list for quite some time. It’s a pity it’s been archived. Found whilst out and about caching on this windy day with I C Nothing and Meme28.
A lovely sunny day here in Bunbury today. Had this on our planned to do list for today's souvenir but just noticed it was archived.
Can remember the day when this area was called BP Hill due to the BP tanks in the area, it also had another name but that's not writeable.
TFTC sorry to see it go from our maps
Answers are on their way in a minute or two

Just a note to add that this cache is permanently replaced by a new GCA cache of the same name - look for it at https://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga14914
This cache i(1 of the 4 remaining) is now disabled pending Archive.
I am at my wits end regarding getting caches approved - because of the stupid rules that appear to be in force by GC - reviewers appear to use a different set of rules to the guidelines than those that GC publish on their website and this causes friction between reviewers and Geocachers. GC appears to ignore both requests and valid appeals, and that is just not good enough! - so the only options left for me is to both archive my active caches and to not renew my Premium membership.
While both of these things will happen this year (after 15 or 16 years continuous premium membership), I intend to continue to look for both GA and GC caches. You may still see me at events or perhaps in the field. I'm aware that this is like a 'shout in the dark' and that TPTB will never hear my voice, but that's Ok - there is a life after GC.
There is a fair chance that this cache will re-appear as a GA cache.

Lundi263 and I visited Bunbury on our last day in Australia before we sadly had to shorten our holiday due to Corona. We had nice views of the surroundings.
Thank you for the cache Youmi

On our last day in Oz, Youmi and I made a stop in Bunbury on our way to Perth and walked up to this little lookout with the Virtual Cache.
Nice view from up there!
Youmi already sent an email with the answers.
Too bad that our vacay was cut short due to the Corona virus ... I keep my fingers crossed that everything will get better soon and that I can visit Oz again soon!
Thank you for the Cache!

Afraid of heights but pushed myself as I had to count steps. What a beautiful view. Thanks for putting this together Team Red Roo
Decided to make a weekend in and around Bunbury to collect as many caches as possible with Geotrakka. Wow what a view. Thanks for the cache.
Was driving though the man Street and saw this and thought it would be a good place to see the city and surrounding area.
Today I was out for a windy GC-tour through a part of Bunbury, along Koombana bay and round Leschenault Inlet.
On top of the tower it was more like a storm then just a strong wind. It had a lot of fun up there with a stunning view around the area . TFTC!

#3593 A nice tower that gives panoramic views of Bunbury. Answers were sent to CO. In town for a couple of days with some guys from work. Regards from Canberra.
Travelling around Australia on a #midlifgapyear, collecting caches along the way to mark the geomap of our AdVANtures - with an enticing name like this one, how could we not stop for this one... Our days in Bunbury were unfortunately marred by gale force winds, rain and even some hail, but we managed to find a break in the weather to dash up the tower to at least see the view, for what it was worth.... Nice to get a tourist friendly virtual while here. Thanks Wayne and Kathryn - Team Red Roo!
Found this one just in time to watch the beautiful sunset over the ocean. TFTC
I am currently visiting WA from Adelaide for a few weeks, travelling mostly around the southwest, exploring, visiting friends and family and finding a few caches along the way. Yesterday it bucketed down while I was in Bunbury. Today was much better so I went out and found a few more caches.
The tower provided a great view over Bunbury and provided a good perspective of the layout of the place. I was here early in the day, but it would be great at sunset.
Thanks Wayne and Kathryn - Team Red Roo for the cache.

It was the second time for us in Australia. We stayed in this fascinating country from 11/08/-30/08/2019.
We started our travels in Perth and went in the following 20 days south to Bunbury, Busselton, Margaret River, Pemberton, Denmark, Albany, Hopetoun and Esperance. We continued north to Kalgoorlie, further to the West to Hyden, Northam, Muchea and Cervantes. From Cervantes we drove back to Perth with a final stop at Rottnest Island.
Besides the sightseeing spots we visited and looked for different cache types as
Traditionals, Multis, WherIGos, Letterboxes, Mysteries, Earthcaches and Virtuals. It’s all in the mix.
We could lern a lot about the hide and seek in Western Australia. Maybe we can use the gained knowledge in Germany to hide some caches the way you do in Australia.
We enjoyed these amazing 3 weeks in Down Under as we could do in 2010 and we hope to come to Australia again as soon as possible.
Sorry, the logs are not unique for each cache but we had fun looking for every single one.

On our week long WA holiday we made it a point to visit as many virtual caches as we could. They are the best tourist guides and take you to the most amazing places. Why would you want to do the Lonely Planet thing and feed koalas, kangaroos or be used as crocodile bait?
Just to be sure we counted the correct number of steps I made Mrs Woodyrothwell count independently of me. What we didn’t realise that looking down meant we weren’t looking out. The climb is a bit scarier if you are aware of your surroundings. I have to admit that swimming with sharks, or juggling chainsaws is not as scary when you are blindfolded. Next time I should try getting married with a blindfold.
We enjoyed the view from the top and actually got freaked out a bit on the walk down when the wind blew. Somewhere on the journey down I caught a glimpse of my reflection and now I need that blindfold more than ever. Awarding a favourite point for a cracking location. tftc

Found while visiting the area from thd UK. Many thanks for the cache. Fav point given
Made the climb up while on holiday from New Zealand. Fabulous views from here, recommended.
Great view of the town and ocean from up here. There was a little boy and mother heading down the stairs as I was coming up, and he made no effort to hide the fact that his father was waiting in the car as he was "a big scaredy cat". Thanks for the cache
Thanks for bringing us up here. What a great way to get an overview of the town. Greetings from NSW. TFTC.
I was in Bunbury to visit a nearby alumina plant for work, so I decided to do a bit of early morning exploration. Nobody else was around as the sun came up while I was at the tower. Thanks for maintaining this old cache.
Confirmed answers with the CO before posting.

Three of us braved the climb to get some fresh air on the way to a business meeting a few weeks back (well, I didn't mention to the other two it was a cache quest until it was too late for them to back out..). To his credit the one frightened of heights counted all the steps for me and got his ever first glimpse of Bunbury. Great to have another of the virtuals ticked off my list.
Answers have been confirmed by CO as correct. Thanks for continuing our continuous streak - now on 335 and staggering in to our first mighty goal for the year. Happy 2019 to all.

Finally I reached Bunbury and prior to the beginning of 2019 I needed one final cache to get a straight number of finds in 2018 ! So this Virtual happened to be the chosen one and by the way it was a very nice choice anyway . Answered all the questions and mail has been sent! My pleasure to leave a final favorite in 2018......

This cache was part of a busy day out caching along with ilook4geo. We found the info and counted steps to get the answers to the questions posed. These answers have been sent to the CO. On reaching the top we were amazed at the fantastic 360 egree views. It was quite windy but still very enjoyable to get this overall view and perspective of Bunbury. Thanks to Team Red Roo for bringing us to this local feature.
This cache was done while out on a caching effort with goingplaces2 for the day. It was a good cache and added to the variety of types found in one day. It was heaps of fun and the views were great. TFTC.
Finally logging this great cache I did with Schnex on Christmas Day. Great Lookout!

A quick find now that the cache location is open. Great view; giving a favourite. Answers being sent by Koalacanuck.
Glad we checked this location again before we leave Australia tonight. Barriers gone so able to claim the find. Beautiful view. Goodbye Australia, until next time!
This lovely site is closed for construction so we weren’t able to do this virtual. Darn!
I am down south again for the second weekend in a row, this time with the Geoson for a bit of a boys weekend. Stayed in Bunbury of the Friday night then headed for Walpole for night 2.

Headed down to my WAGB campsite a little early and planned some caches into my route so that I could claim a challenge cache in Busselton on the way. This cache counts towards that challenge and what a bonus that it’s an old virtual with awesome views Would never have come here if it wasn’t for geocaching No problems gathering the answers, and have sent the required 3 off to the CO for approval Of course I paused for a while to take some pics from the top before zooming off to a nearby solved mystery (which I couldn’t find, lol). Great spot, thanks for bringing me here and TFTC
SUscoe visited this virtual late this afternoon and we enjoyed the views.
We have messaged the CO with our answers.
What a great idea for a virtual.
We watched a ship heading into the wharf area across the bay.
Lots of blue sky and sunshine this afternoon.
Thanks to Team Red Roo for this cache..

Climbed to Bunbury Heights this afternoon! Our first stop on our SW road trip. Greetings from NSW
A huge day out caching in the south west of our beautiful state with Cravo10. We planned to leave Perth early and head down to Bunbury to cleanup a heap of caches before attending the CITO event hosted by Rach2/Dimor before heading further south to Busselton, Dunsborough and Margaret River/witchcliffe.
Leaving Perth at 515am we made our way into Australind and got eaten alive by a bunch of mozzies and enjoyed a lovely stroll out along the groyne to the new cache out there before finding a couple of multis and then attending the CITO.
Whilst at the CITO we got chatting with JackyLegs44 and agreed to cache our way into Dunsborough before meeting up with one of his mates who had access to a serious 4wd for the new goldilocks series, which despite the terrain ratings should not be attempted in anything less than a serious 4x4 unless you want to be rescued. A great ride in the back of the troopy and some neat hides and some needles amongst the hay stacks. Was also nice to meet falcon351 and ringtailposs on the trail who we cached with for nearly the entirety of the goldilocks trail.
After completing the series we hit up the cockatoos dinner puzzle before heading to Witchcliffe to complete some of the newly published puzzles down there. Managed 4 of the puzzles before calling it quits for the day as we had to be back in Perth at a reasonable hour.
Thanks to the local COs for their hides. A great day out. Thank you.

Headed down to Bunbury and Busselton today with Barnzy12. Had the CITO on the list for 9am however making a full day of it we, well I was up at 4.30 and picketed up B12 at 5.15. A pile of caches on the list to find today from Trads to multi, puzzle, letterbox, event and even an earth cache. Making for a very busy day good thing it’s spring and the sun was out with a mild 21degree day, Thanks to the CO’s for the placement and maintenance on all caches found today.

In my old town for a dinner date. Only climbed half the tower for the concrete steps. Too cold!
I had a Stop on my way in Bunbury taking the chance to walk around. The view was amazing!
After the way up to the lookout, I rewarded myself with a great coffee and a delicious cake from a small coffee shop. Yummi.

Found and worked out with tassie expat while here on holidays. Great view, I had no idea that Bunbury looked like this. Tftvc.
What a great view from the top. A collection of locks on the caged roof at the top - a sign of undying love - as on the bridges in Paris?? Other people were climbing up as well and this makes it a bit tricky when you meet them on the metal steps. Sent answers to CO and got the okay to log
After emailing answers to Co for myself and The X-Trailers am now logging as found.
