We will archive this one for now as the person that was helping with maintenance has shifted and we will not be back for a while.
Thanks to the two finders who bothered to log DNF's.
Looks like this one may have been washed away so we are disabling it for a few weeks until work settles down and we can get to check it out.

Pretty spot but no sign of the cache, used the hint and found the location, but nothing there, assume it has been washed away.
Found this one a few months ago but forgot to log it. Is a beautiful spot especially a bit further upstream. I can understand how it could have been washed away. If it hasn't been replaced next time I'm over that way I'll replace it. Thanks team crackers.
Reckon it's washed away by the big rains that we've had recently. Found the hideyhole but nothing there.
Out for a family picnic nearby, didn't take the gps but used the nokia phone to find this one nearby. After a bit of searching without luck I then read the previous logs which then made it a lot easier to locate. No water running today.
an easy find thanks to the clue (we swapped cars and left the GPS behind *rolls eyes*).
The sign directing us to the spot had been moved and was pointing up a dirt road high up the mountain (Scenic Lookout). After a couple of k's we decided to turn back, turn the sign around the correct way and made out way to the area.
Kinda funny to think that I have twice sat on that very rock before without knowing what was hiding underneath

That was a lovely little walk in the bush.
If it wasn't for the clue we would not have found the cache as the coords were 22m out, pretty much what the last logger mentioned, so maybe it is time for a coord update.

Not sure where the water goes, not sure where the cache is either!
Today we shared the area with a group of boys obviously just released from the drudgery of school. They were having a ball, scrambling over and slipping among the rocks. After reading the clues, we searched all the likely places, 6 in all, without any success. It was however another of those places we would never have thought to visit pre-geocaching.

In the interest of safety we are disabling this cache until the fires are under control.
Found in the company of Grumblebums, on Australia Day weekend.
This is certainly a beautiful area.
Took us over 1/2 hr. to find the cache. GPS had us searching everywhere we shouldn't have been. In the end had to use the clue, which soon had the cache in hand.
The day was getting rather hot by then.

Camped here one time and was surprised to see no one here for the long weekend. Love to see this one in the rain.
Found with FJ1 + family, Oenze and Highrod on a 4x4 day out at 4:55pm. Thanks for the cache.
Find # 2272 and 15th of the day at 4:49pm. on our "Try out the new (very used) 4 wheeldrive" expedition around Avoca. Accompanied by Flyjabiru1, Highrod and Sandar10, A pleasant walk to GZ , it would have been nicer if there was some water here. TNLN, Signed log, Thanx Team Crackers....
Found at 4:55PM with MrsFj1, geoDy, highrod, Sandar10 & oenze. MrsFJ1 and I camped here a few years ago with highrod and sandar10 before we where into geocaching.
The cache was 20m from the co-ords, but found it okay with a few extra hints from highrod who had found it before.

Found at 15:55 with the local relatives showing us around the area, water was just trickling over the falls & disappearing! Those new coordinates didn't have us any closer than the original one, so resorted to the clues & thinking like a hider... Took Flannel (girls loved it) & Left Badges & Snail. Thanks Team Crackers & Cheers 'scargoes (PF&M) + family
Found it OK.
Note, The lat/long was about 20 M out
Averaged about 140 readings and got this:
S 37 06.020 E 143 21.898
with a 4 M accuracy according to the GPS

Part of the 2Dudez Avoca/Ampitheatre Easter Assault 2007
Was minus the other Dudez, but Deano had Muggle Dad as Driver, (might make a cacher out of him yet )
Found at 11:40
Had to wait for a couple of muggles to leave until we had the place to ourselves.
My GPS had me 20m away from GZ so we looked in this area until they left.
A quick look at the hint and we had the cache soon after.
Well stocked and a great container.
Unfortunately there was no water at all.

Thanks to Team Crackers for a great location that I will return to when the water comes back.

Eleventh of our Pyranees 4WD Cache Raid. It looks like the water has gone from here permanently. The only water in the creek bed today came from the raindrops as they were falling - and even they soon dried up.
T: Egg Timer
L: Screwdriver and a Pink Dolly Face washer.

There was barely a trickle of water coming over the falls, so when it disappeared at the base, it was not surprising - it probably just evaporated. The whole creek below the falls was dry. But it is such a lovely spot, and the walk in was great.
My GPS had a high EPE and it led me up, over, and all around. I checked all possible hiding spots covered by the GPS, all to no avail. At this stage I resorted to the encrypted clue and soon had the cache in my hands. It was in an area that the GPS kept me away from. No exchange was made.
Thanks, Team Crackers, for showing me such a wonderful area, and for the cache.

Found 12:25, after an exciting morning of 4WD'ing The question today would more appropriatley have been where did all the water go [:o)]

So where did all the water go? Not a drop to be seen along the way to the cache, despite the rain from the last few days. Glad to get out of the car after the tricky descent! Crackers followed us to GZ and after a couple of "warmer/colder" hints Biggles Bear located the cache. Thanks for bringing us to a great lunch location Crackers!
We came here while four wheel driving with some fellow cachers. We took this opportunity to do a maintenance check. All is well and the cache is where it should be, the GPS reception has not got any better though.
Found at 3.20pm GAFF5. After a failed attempt to squeeze a Patrol, a Landcruiser and a Hilux down a skinny walking track, we backed out and went looking for this cache the more conventional way. An interesting drive down Fraser Track was the highlight. After finding the cache, which was a bit tricky due to poor reception, we headed back to the picnic spot and had a great lunch with some of the leftovers from the Vict. end of year event dinner. Took: 2005 diary, Left: Catfish Thanks Team Crackers.
Where does all the water go? Well!! Where!! Someone better come up with some answers or there will be hell to pay! I want answers and I want them now!!
8.15pm
Found by Roma and Max.
This being our second attempt to find this one, it turned out to be a much easier find, done by torch light.
In our previous attempt we were travelling in our Mazda moble home and had approached by the back way in to the picnic ground. A tree down over the road stopped us just prior to the ground and the winter conditions made it very difficullt to turn our vehicle around hence search time was only cursory, with most of it spent in the vehicle recovery mode.
We took a Pair of Holographic Glasses and left a Mondo Figurine.
Thanks Team Crackers,
from Romax.

Where does all the water go? had fun finding this one and then had to sit and wait for about 30min for some pesky muggles to leave. we must have looked stupid staring at a waterless fall for that long. took egg timer and green dinosaur, left yoyo and whacky holographic sunnies. thanks for a great spot that i have been to many times before i converted from the dark side.
No water today but still a very nice area. Went to a nearby winery as well. Took TB and left military figurine and pen. Thanks Team Crackers.
Found by Mary & David at 1820. A great spot with very almost no litter or graffiti. Not a drop of water anywhere today though. We'll have to return after rain to see it as it should be. We enjoyed the cache although it took us a long time to find it. We didn't have the hint with us and the satellites were playing hide and seek behind the hills, so our GZ was all over the place. There seemed to be natural red herrings everywhere. As happens so often in these circumstances, we looked for ages in all the wrong places, and then decided to give it away. One last look in a new spot as we departed and we hit the jackpot. We were very thankful! Took Santa snowball, left a container of star confetti and TB 'One Dead Duck'. Our thanks to Team Crackers for five great caches in a cracker of an afternoon.
