I worked this one out ages ago but when I saw where it was located I knew I wouldn't have enough time to get it. Back in the area today picking up a few other caches and signed this one as well. Didn't realise it was archived until I have come to log it. Cache is still in perfect condition and a lovely area.

I can not see a "Needs Maintenance" log on this cache; see the Help Centre, http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=551
If you find a geocache that is in need of some help (e.g. container is cracked, logbook is full or wet, cache seems to be missing, etc., etc.), making direct contact with the CO via email and acquainting them of your observation is preferable as the first step.
You can also post a "Needs Maintenance" log on the cache page so the cache owner and the community are notified. This log adds an attribute to the page (looks like a colored cross) to alert the CO as well as other geocachers of the needed repairs. Needs Maintenance logs are not forwarded to reviewers.
If you have no response from the cache owner then I'd suggest using a Needs Archive Note. Except for in the most extreme cases, it's normally best to give the cache owner a chance to fix the issue before alerting the reviewers.
This cache would appear to be in need of owner intervention, therefore I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
Geocache maintenance is a cache owner responsibility. Your prompt attention to any log that indicates things could be amiss will be greatly appreciated by all geocachers, see here http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance
The guidelines advise; if you can't fix it straight away then Disable it till you can . . . . . . . and here's how; http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 . . . . . . . . . . I have disabled it for you this time! [^]
Please respond to this situation by 8th March to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to date, or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.[/blue]

i gathered the details months ago and have tried to find the cache many times (over 15) with what looks to be the gz but no cache, i do know they did clearing work in this area so maybe it was removed. i emailed cache owner over a week ago and no response.
I agree with Gruffpuppy. There is no contact of said referance and all numbers either do not fit the clue or produce a satisfactory gz
Suggest the CO check this one out.

Visited here for the second time today, and it looks like the contact information on the sign has changed.
Found on an afternoon walk with sheppythekid, who had done the work on the final coordinates. A lovely quiet part of the peninsula, will come back in spring for the orchards and wildflowers. Tftc. Bwbandit

Very excited to have found my very first cashe at my very first attempt. Loved the idea of getting clues to the next co ordinate. Searched for about 20 mins around the site and finally it was discovered. Filled in the log book and placed a small lip brush in the container. Wear long pants and some mossie spray for this one.

Out in the area with a muggle friend and as this one has been on the to do list for a long time I decided to give it a go. With the first part quickly worked out it was off to GZ. Like others before me, if I had read the cache page a little more thoroughly it would have taken a lot less time. Oh well........ all part of the fun. Cache was eventually found once my mistake was realised.
Thanks piggysue for the cache.

Finally, I get my smiley and knock this one off my to do list.
BTW - Not sure of the given formula - After an extended search in the opposite direction of where my G was telling me to go ... I finally managed to nail the little sucker.
Once at GZ I took an average reading and noted that the coords were totally way off from that I had started with.
Perhaps a review is in order.

Down this way to check out the marine and thought I would have a crack at this one. Had me scratching my head at gz for a few minutes until I read the notes more carefully. After a short scramble I had it.

Well, it was the weekend again and despite the fact that I was on annual leave from work, Sunday was set aside to go out caching with my partner in crime SedgwickDave. It turned out to again be a wonderful summer's day, mid 20's, so I picked up Dave at 7.30 we headed towards mornington, picking up a few caches on the way.
This was the first cache of the day, it took us a bit of time to locate the required sign and number, then there was some debate about which numbers to use, but we worked it out in the end and quickly made our way to GZ where after a little searching the cache was soon located.

The weather was ideal today for another run along the peninsula starting in Tyabb then heading westward to Mornington for completing some solved puzzle caches. Was on the hunt with my caching wingman Ahomburg. Today's tally was 16 finds including a FTF & further progress made with project 81 and some other cache series in the region. A great result overall and looking forward to returning to region soon to find some more.
Have add my eye on these cache for a long time now as it always grab my eye when I would scan the map for potential targets. Well finally was here and was fun to walk thru the stages to GZ. Glad I had the cache details and Ahomburg to discuss the possible answers with as if I was running solo I think I may of ended up about 100m further east. So following the supplied instructions lead me straight to the cache and was the first to yell "Found It". TFTC piggysue.

Another legendary night caching run by TDC (The Demolition Crew) in conjunction with The Rebel Alliance (Rebel Acts) and Danozz, a 4 man assault. As always, a fantastic night had by all, with lots of caches found, including some quality stuff. The night started north of Melbourne, and headed inwards, picking up Danozz in Richmond. The run took us down Mornington Peninsula way and finished back up near the city.
About 30 or so finds personally for the run, including a drain walk, and my 5000th find on Balnarring The Headache Maker. Some great laughs, great stories and great caching. Many thanks to all the cache owners for the caches.
Bit of a walk, but flat and pleasant for the most part. Took a bit of bush bashing, but found the cache. All good with it. TFTC.

Drove back and forth with the solved multi in hand, trying to get to a good parking spot and finish the multi off. 1 unlocked gate got us close but no cigar, then the next locked gate turned out to be the best approach path. A short walk south and we were at the right entry point, and after a few minutes of bush bashing we were at the cache. Well hidden and should last until the earth ends in about 1 month.
Tonight was another legendary night caching run with The Demolition Crew and The Rebel Alliance teaming up to grab some caches north, east and south of Melbourne. The run started in the early afternoon with the new northern and eastern caches being picked up before we headed towards the city in peak hour traffic to pick up Danozz in Richmond. He was keen to come and join in the fun.
At this point we moved through slow moving traffic to St Kilda and down to Found it 5 v2 (another hour wasted there!) before moving south through Cranbourne, Tyabb and on to Balnarring. The night was filled with a great many laughs as Blacklegend was in fine form.
The highlight of the night was the 5,000th find being racked up by Blacklegend on the Balnarring Headache Maker. Top effort Adam! As the witching hour approached we decided to forgo some of the planned caches and head straight back to Elwood to align the tides with our caching presence so that we could pick up a cache four hundred metres down a stormwater drain.
Many thanks to all the CO’s who have put the time into placing the caches we collected tonight, and a special mention to those CO’s who made the effort to replace some missing caches at my request a few weeks back.
A quick find with this one, or at least after a nice walk down a dirt path. The cache is in good order, thanks.

Driving home from Mornington and thought we'd stop by and take care of this one that we'd been meaning to do for a while. An easy find, but yes, the mozzies are fierce. TFTC.
after a failed first attempt i went back to track and tried again and found it but there is a lot of small brush growing up and future visiters may have difficulty getting in there.
BEWARE: longpants and long sleves required as there is lotsof brush that you need to push through, and take the insect repelant as the mosies may suck you dry if you try to get in there without it.
but overall a nice little cache with a nice stroll,
cheers

Our first puzzle for the day, quick find of the phone number required and got the GZ coords. We then headed to GZ. A nice walk down the track, and finding GZ made our way to the cache. K found it quickly, a pic opportunity, and a nice wander back to the car, dodging some fresh evidence of the horsing muggles in the area TFTC
Thought we would stop for a quick cuppa, but the cafe was closed, so we consoled ourselves with a cache. No clear path to the cache which proved more challenging, but still found without too much difficulty. TFTC
I was at the marina meeting a friend so took the opportunity to finally cross this one off my list. With only my phone to assist me, I found the initial information and then headed off to the GZ but after not paying close enough attention to the cache description I spent about 15 minutes searching nowhere near where I should have been. I initially thought this was down to the inaccuracy of my phone but once I paid closer attention to the description I was able to track down the cache very easily.

Could not find the required info - looked around, gathered various numbers but they were no good. I was even approached by a drunken fool claiming he lives on site and was trying to pick a fight time to leave and let him indulge in a few more beers LOL!!
Could anyone confirm what & where the said info is located? I looked it up on google earth but to no avail. Am I missing something?

It pays to read the cache page. It was quick to work out where to drive to and where to walk to but then I started looking in all the wrong places. Once I took a look at the cache page again it was an easy find. Replacement cache looks to be in good condition. TFTC
Found the appropriate sign at the marina, and jumped into the car and headed off to GZ. After a pleasant walk along the path, I headed west. Was beginning to think that there was no way I would find it, until I noticed the usual signs! Thanks for the cache.
I have replaced the container and the log book. There is no pen, wont fit in. If the next visitor could put in cache notes. I have taken away the old container. Will see if anything is salvageable.
Found it, full of water and very smelly. Was unable to sign the log as it is a wet mess.
Good fun - thanks for this cache - would never have found the marina as it looked like it was closed to the public - great idea to put the clue there. The cache was VERY waterlogged and things looked like they were molding together so couldnt do anything other than empty some of the water and rehide.
Went to find this one after solving the GZ clues over sunday lunch at the marina restaurant.Took some searching to find the cache but persistance paid off,Unfortunately the cache is water logged and needsto be totally replaced so could not sign the log book.
The hole cache needs to be replasted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did this with Slink1. Worked out the co-ords and off to the cache. Was a bit of a mess. The cache was flooded (lucky we have oil based gel pens for such occasions). SL Slink1 repacked cache and after a brief discussion we decided to put back upside down to try and keep it dryer. Need maintenance but looking at the logs people already know. TFTC
Came out to do maintenance on this one but left the co-ords at home. Thought I could remember the hide but I searched to no avail. Maintenance will have to wait a little longer.
If the owner isn’t around any more maybe the best humane thing to do would be to put this one to sleep

Gathered the information and made my way to a loverly little parkland finding the cache after a brief walk.
Cache was a little damp but still managed to scribble my name in the log though it may need a replacement soon.

Ya right - watch out for those mozzies.
Joint find with Hazey1.
Warning for cachers to follow - there ARE snakes in the area - Hazey1 can attest to that!
Hazey1 is celebrating his FTFSS (First to Find Scary Snake) - in fact I nearly had to carry Hazey1 out of the reserve.
Note to self: must pack spare underwear for Hazey1 in his caching bag.

It really really helps if you fully read the directions...Da. First time around we were beaten by the mozzies and rapidly disappearing daylight and of course not reading the directions properly. Returned today in the company of The Dehney's and having completely read the listing proceded the short bush bash from the co-ordinates and found it with ease. Mozzies were thick and fast although I must admit the I wasn't the one that was bitten numerous times. TFTC TNLNSL

Found by penndragon at 3pm. Nice day, found clue after a bit of a look about and had a bucket of chips from the small cafe, and made a chip roll and had our coffee whilst watching a large boat being launched. Then proceeded to cache which was a bit wet but dried it and took a mondo figure and left a ladybird key ring lip gloss.sl. thanks piggysue.
Talk about a long cache...
We got to the gates mentioned in the description & found the in gate locked but the out gate wide open so we decided to hoof it in to find the sign. As we were walking in we had to walk past a shed with no walls but with all the mod cons (TV, fridge etc) as well as quite a few people & a lot of cars, but they didn't say anything so we kept walking to the sign.
After figuring out the waypoint, we set off, found the "nearest" gate & walked what seemed a million miles in to the GZ, well it was a very hot day. Nice little cache, but watch out for the jumping jack ants nesting around the cache. We thought we would try a different path for the way out to see if it would be any shorter, and it was... Except that when we sat in the car Spice noticed that a lack of sunnies (taken off just before the attack of the jumping jacks), so off Echo goes for a jog mack to the GZ on a rescue mission... Hmmm, does that mean I can log it as 2 finds?
TNLNSL, TFTC. Find #101 for Echo & Spice.
P.S. Watch out for the container, we did notice that it is broken.

Found @ 8:30 Another one of those places that surprise you and that you only got there because there was a cache there. A substantial boat harbour in the middle of nowhere. A quick look around and then down to business. Thought I had waypoint 2 wrong but after reading the rest of the cache description felt it was probably OK. Cache was in hand a short time later. TFTC. TNLNSL.
Find # 2035 and 10th of the day at 1:15pm. Accompanied by Feathertop on another trip to the Mornington Peninsula for a day out caching. We were a bit reluctant to drive in to start this cache but were asured after reading the cache sheet. TNLN, Signed Log, Thanx Piggysue....
This was a hidden away gem and one of those places that geocaching seems sometimes to take us. Oenze and I consulted the marine specialist, took the suggested drive followed by the suggested walk and the 30m offset. All worked a treat. TNLN thanks piggysue though the container is showing signs of wear after 3 years.
This one had fallen off the radar several times but today was the day. A definite surprise here, this pleasant place is not even in the current Melways. Got the info and headed off to gz. Enjoyed a pleasant walk and the cache was found easily using the clue. Following Geodes' comments I had brought a new container and bag but then left them in the car! Perhaps the next seeker can oblige. 500mil container only needed. Thanks piggysue for showing me where to ring a marine specialist.

I think this was my favourite cache of the day - I didn't know of this spot and it's really lovely so I'll bookmark it for a return visit. I also liked the walk to the cache - although I was getting a bit nervous a couple of times that I might have the wrong coords - but each time a new track became evident and I was soon there. I initially searched on the wrong side, but read the clue and was able to make an easy find. The cache doesn't seal well, and things are pretty damp and, unfortunately, I'd left my geobag in the car and didn't have any ziplock bags to replace the one in the cache (which has a hole in it).

Thanks piggysue

Log damp. Contents damp. Emptied 1/2 inch of water out of cache. Lid won't close. TFTC piggysue
Have checked out the site and all former signs have been removed. I have totally rewritten the clues to suit new info. Good luck
Seems the all important sign has gone missing AGAIN. Will try to get this up and running again soon.
With chefs and farmers challenging this one in the rain,it was our hardest of the day.Firstly phone numbers are missing, but thought we could get with clues anyway.Searched just behind shop in bush for a good while ,then we played phone a friend for ph info and soon our seaching area moved to a new location! With heavy showers now in full on mode,we all got drenched on a quest to the gz area. After another 10 min search ,we hit the bingo result and what a relief after the "time" it took us .TNLN and many thanks to piggysue for the cache and marina we never knew existed!
Found this one today ,
When we went to get our information from the sign sadly the sign had been removed so we rang the daks help line on the information.
Thanks piggysue for the cache

This cache has eluded me for awhile now, but today on my fourth visit to the area it was finally located. Not sure why, but after combing the search area in ever increasing circles the cache was finally found. I had left the cache bag at home so TNLNSL
Thanks Piggysue for bringing me to a part of the bay that I hadn't visited before

Found by Roma and Max in the company of The Swaggies.
The posted co-ordinates brought us to a very interesting place where lots of nice and expensive things were parked.
After collecting the data required, we proceeded to a quiet bushland setting, with exception of one trail bike rider in the distance.
In : Mondo Figurne.
Out: Key Tag.
Thanks piggysue.

Found by the Swaggies and Romax @ 1215 hrs. We had a pleasant walk in the marina looking at all the boats in dock. After getting the clues we made our way to the starting. The girls elected to stay in the warm whilst Max and I headed into the bush. An easy find by Swaggie1.
In tiny gold teddy.
Out nothing.

Found by edmil & maddie. This one should teach me to read the instructions properly. Located the numbers and did the calculations. Went to the location and thought that it couldn't be here so walked back to car. Only after re-reading the notes did I realise I was in the right spot so back I walked - maddie elected to stay in the car for this one. Found spot on this time. Thanks for the exercise. TNLN
Found it! Finally!
After visiting twice before and being foiled by the phone numbers i finally had the cache in my hot little hands. Over-turned some bark on my treasure hunt and spotted what I thought were snake coils. After another careful, (but stupid) look i realised it was a blue-tongued lizard, but it was way too cold for him to be bothered by me. thanks for the cache.

Found at 3.45pm. An interesting harbour that I never knew was there. Pretty hot day for a dusty walk and I had to scratch my head a bit to find the cache. Re read the description and then it made sense. Left a "Darwin" Pen as blue pen ran out. Thanks for the cache.
Found 11:10, a nice easy find after apleasant stroll to start our day's caching.

Dear PiggySue,
I finally got to find your cache today at 3:15pm. I had been to the starting point once before only to find I was too late and every other time passing on the highway it was also always going to be closed. Not so today though with plenty of time to spare. WP1 was a very tidy little place. I worked out the co-ords for the cache and found a likely spot to start a walk. Normally this would have been a short walk but with the temperature tipping 40 degrees it seemed like a marathon. I didn't help myself by getting the wrong digit in C which but me in a bushy place that is the exact sort of place that people don't generally hide caches. After a rework of C everything made sense and the directions took me to a place that is the exact sort of place that people DO hide caches . Thanks for the cache.

Finally found at 12.40pm GAFF? We arrived at the peacefull little harbour at around 11.00am and headed straight for the information area only to find that there was no mobile no. listed for the supreme person. We even went around to their factory and found two mobile no's on the front window - but which was the right one? So we called Muzza who had completed this cache in March and he of course had all of the details nicely recorded in his PDA. With the missing no's (which by the way were not one of the ones on the factory window!) we were finally on our way after many attempts and guesses. This first cache for the day put a bit of a dampener on our day - literally as it started to pour and we got drenched! Took: Bracelet, Left: Mondo doll. Thanks piggysue for showing us this lovely little harbour, the small restaurant was very inviting.
Found at 12:14. After getting to GZ started searching. After 5 minutes decided to re-read the notes and then shortly after had cache in hand. Was eaten alive by mozzies and nasty ants so quickly signed logged and left.
TNLN. Thanks Piggysue.

Fourth of fifteen finds in an assault on the Mornington Peninsula in company with acts2youthgroup. I love the name of this cache! Like C@W, we also had trouble figuring out what YY was supposed to be; none of our manipulations worked. Even the mathematics expert on The Rebel Alliance team was stumped. Then the penny dropped! It is a correct, but unconventional way of expressing it. I wonder what "Fac:" means. [?] We enjoyed a pleasant walk to the cache site and started looking. I checked the obvious place first, but didn't realise that 'digging' was required, so I missed it. Fortunately, A2YG searched properly, and it was a GAFF1 find at 0850. We covered it a bit more conventionally before we left. We weren't bothered by mozzies. I made no exchange. Thanks to piggysue for the cache.
Found at 08:50 by The Rebel Allaince.
We need a few more lessons at the Muzza Rebel maths school
Long live The Rebel Allaince.
Thanks.

Found at 08:50 fourth cache out of twenty one for the day in company with Dak Emu.
Like cauht@work we got stuck on yy, and stood there telling each other that it did not make sense, after a short while Dak realized that it said plus, for some reason our brains were thinking and. A short drive and a walk and a quick dig revealed the cache. TNLN Thanks.

Doh! My brain stopped working at this location and for life of me I couldn't out what YY was. Then it must have restarted as I then couldn't out why I was being such a doink.
A friend of mine used to have a boat moored here and out lunch club came out here for Christmas Lunch a couple of years ago. It wasn't until I got to the gate that I worked out what teh name meant. I love it.
I collected the clues and took off to GZ. Not sure whether I cheated or not, but I drove the first 800m as the rain was still coming down and I was hoping not to get totally drenched. A nice walk (indeed) later and I was at the required place.
Following the directions as supplied and the cache instantly revealed. A quick log (trying to keep the rain out) and I was on my way back to the car.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks piggysue. This is probably one of the cleverest named caches I have been to.

I collected the required clues and headed out to GZ. Unfortunately, I entered one wrong digit and I would have ended up on private property if I'd followed the GPS to the end. When I checked and fixed the waypoint, I was only about 10 metres from where I needed to leave the track.
After wandering around in the bushes for a few minutes, I decrypted the clue and soon had the cache. As I began to log it, the swarms of mozzies decended. I couldn't write more than a word without having to defend myself and fend them off. No swap was made, and only the briefest of logs. Thanks for the cache.

Mr.Coffee and the Clan didnt need a marine specialist, however we did find the cache, and mozzies, and spiders.
After doing the sums we were of to the GZ, and thanks to bushmans we were partially covered. it was the big spider
webs I didn't like, however the coordinates and workings to the cache were spot on.
Thanks Piggysue I enjoyed this one.
Left a couple of small things and took TB Ante Up.

Found by Mary & David at 1445. A hot afternoon, but a nice shady walk to GZ after gathering the nautical numbers. There's obviously a lot of money in boats. Didn't expect to find an operation on that scale. Found the cache after a short search. Took a small shark, left a British cloth patch and TB 'Ante Up' to cool off and regain its strength. Our thanks again to piggysue, and for providing us with the means for another caching milestone.
