We made the walk to the cache this morning and we fluked a great day after the recent rain. The trip in was uneventful, the road quite good with just a couple of spots where it looked a bit sticky, but no dramas.
We located the cache quite easily and were soon on the return walk along the sand and back to the car.
Thanks to the CO for this placement.

Found. I didnt have a pen with me to sign . Beautiful walk from Pettmans on a lovely day. No one else on the beach.
I bought a new container when I was in town shopping and have replaced the damaged one - so cache should be good to go for a few more months/years.
Arrived at the camping area and set up for the night.
After having a bite to eat, we took the walk along the beach, being blown back by the wind but we continued on the the cache.
Found after a short search, once we were within a 4m distance according to my phone. Found by VK7HCH, ToolbaxTas and Swampy.
Another Biggles cache found. It needs maintenance and I didn't know we were coming here, so wasn't able to replace the container.
The walk back saw most of our footprints erased within 200m of leaving GZ so I'm glad I took a waypoint at the bottom of the stairs.
Thanks for the cache Biggles

Cache container needs replacing - lid has completely broken due to exposure to elements - unfortunately I have no suitable container that I can use to replace it - I have tried to leave container in such a way as to stop rain etc entering but it wont last.
Cache container lid has disintergrated - had no suitable replacement - have put cache back in a way tbat will protect contents fir a little bit longer, but it wont survive long - log book has already been waterlogged.
Tricky search but found it! Beautiful spot. Needs new sistema lid (est 10/15 cm). Tftc
It’s such a shame that caches like this don’t get visited more. There amazing. A lovely walk on the beach and skinny dip then a quick find. Favourite awarded. Sadly the lid has broken as per photo so would be good if a future user could bring a replacement container. Not putting a needs maintenance because of the overzealous reviewer who will archive this long before the cache owners have a chance to get out here.
Unloved points as well. Tftc tnln left upside down so hopefully water doesn’t accumulate in it.

We had heard about this area from a friend and decided to visit but the campground was closed due to flooding so we stayed at the Glasshouse. Wet the line but only managed 1 fish so pretty quiet hence going for a walk to find this cache. TFTC TNLN
Awesome walk along a beautiful beach. Cache still in good shape. Left a band aid and put the logbook in a bag to keep it dry. TFTC!

Well it's nearly been a year since last log and you survived we are camped at glasshouse camp grounds and we had you on our list to do , Took Team Wraith and us about half n hour to find cache , keeping in mind 12 months of decay of the local flora , and taking a punt at GZ decided to dig around under the dead foliage and bingo got it , gave the cache a clean and redid the seal as it was a little wet inside , replaced cache in same spot took pics

Hard slog to get to this cache as the wind was strong. Found out it was almost 12 months since this cache was last found it was in good order had fun funning this cache as it was well hidden. It was an easier walk back to car as the wind was in or back. Went on our first camping trip with Smokey-bear in our new camper trailer. Thanks for the cache good fun.
We thought we may as well give this one a go since we were down this way and it was unloved. A beautiful day for caching, we walked along the beach (no wind, surprisingly!) and got to GZ. A bit of searching was ahead of us, so we set our minds to the task. There's nothing sweeter than the words... 'found it' to a cacher! The Moose had turned up the hide. Safe and sound, and much rejoicing on our part. A stunning piece of coastline that we hadn't visited before. Thanks for bringing us here and for the cache.
Not so much couldn't find, as couldn't get near...
I made the mistake of going for a walk along the beach sans shoes.
Retrieving the cache requires shoes
I did manage to find a good handful sized hermit crab and get in a relaxing walk tho, so all good in the end.

Found with MizzJane. I have been meaning to do this cache for awhile now.
MizzJane suggested we go for walk along the beach, she didn't say which beach.
I said "Let's go to the beach up past Nowa Nowa, that way we can get a cache to."
So off we went. We arrived at the car park, we started to cross the boardwalk when I spotted a Croc, and I’m not sure if it was a Salty or Freshy, to a quick photo and quickly moved on. It was a pleasant walk along the beach, there was no wind and the tide was on its way out. There was a lot derbies washed up from the storm we had about 2 months ago and the sand had been blown up the beach.
Arrived a GZ and started the search I looked, looked and looked some more. I started to widen my search still with no luck. After about 45mins with no luck, I rang Dundee2002 who was the last one to find it. He tried to describe where it was but the area had changed so much over the last 12 months plus phone reception was bad and finally dropped out. So I said to MizzJane I will have one more look. I could not believe it when I spotted the cache I had only been about 1 metre away from it previously. I gladly signed the log. On returning as we crossed the boardwalk I looked for the Croc, it was not near the boardwalk any more but was in the middle of water
MizzJane also had been doing some CITO whilst I stumbled around the scrub.
The cache is in Very Good condition.

After a nice walk at the beach we found this one! 26 juin together with dundee2002! TFTC
Found it, after a nice long walk at the beautiful 90 mile beach. We also found large shells and a dead seal! TCFC
Long time between drinks for this cache. Wizwaz and I headed down here hoping to cast a line and catch our dinner. The weather wasn't too kind and the side wash was a bit full on. What to do? Go find that cache of course. On our way we spotted an old fridge washed up on the beach. Has to be a story behind that one. Reaching GZ we thought it might be tough to find but spot on co-ords put us right on it. Cache still in good nick and paperwork duly done. TNLN Thanks Biggles Bear for placing this cache at a place I'll come back to to try my luck.
Lovely walk. Was out in the open a little - very visible from 5 or so m away. Tucked it back under the vegetation.
Thanks for the cache
Nice walk along the beach ... the litter-hater in me wanted to stop and clean up all the debris washed in ... but there's so much ...

After the long dry and a few days of rain, we really enjoyed the sounds of the frogs as we crossed the bridge.
Lovely walk along the beach, playing tag with the waves. Beautiful day.
After a long time between visitors it was pleasing to see that the cache was there safe and sound. Took Pocohontas and left a cuckoo clock.
Found a seahorse skeleton on our way back along the beach.

Found cache at last! Visited this area twice before with no luck! Great walk down the beach, heaps of bird life! Thanks for a great cache!

Must of missed something with this cache, 750 metres from nearest access point along the beach when 2-300 metres would have been just as adequate.
5:15pm Our last cache for the day. What a beautiful beach, and a lovely walk along the sand dunes. Took the disco ball and left a dinosoar.
Found @15:15
A very pleasant walk down the beach.
Last time we were here it must have been at least 35 degrees and very windy, every time we got out of the wind the flies were really annoying.
Today was totally different: cool (ish) and only a light breeze.

I have wanted to find this cache for some time but every time we have been within a reasonable distance it seemed time was against us. Today we decided to try for the cache and armed with every conceivable navigation device we were sure there was a quicker way to the cache.
We made our way along the dirt roads and one map suggested there was a track that would bring us to within 100 metres of the cache. We decided to make our way along one track as it seemed to end up parallel to the beach and after getting to within 2kms of the GZ we were greeted by a hill and a very un maintained scrub bush and mushy-watery sand, it seems this was as far as we were going on this one.
We back tracked from here and over the next 30 minutes discounted many minor tracks and paths, we were beaten and the decision was made to go the suggested way.
We headed along on Tom Tom’s misguided directions and eventually ended up at the end of the dirt road and now we were facing a carpark that was now a lake. It seems either the floods or rain had put the carpark under a foot of water and the bridge to cross to the sand dunes was on the other side.
Not wanting to do what a Prado we saw once did I checked it out and chose the best point to transverse the crossing and after finding spots were deeper than they seemed we made it to the other side.
With caching gear and GPS’s in hand we headed for the cache and it was a reasonable distance, yet enjoyable walk along the sand with only our footprints in the sand.
At the GZ the coordinates were spot on and this made the cache one of the easiest finds of the day.
TOP cache Biggles!, I recommend that if people want to experience some great coastal scenery, a cache and endless 90 miles of sand that they take the time to do this cache.

GAFF1. All is well for this one, considering how long it's been and the recent weather. All shipshape.
Walked up the beach with the geohounds from Pettmans Beach Rd camping area. Found a NSW Fisheries crate washed up on the beach, so did some CITO and filled it up on the way back.
Got some pics to upload too.

Hi P & J!

Found at 4.00pm GAFF1. What an effort to walk along the beach! We were facinjg gale force winds, which thankfully were still there for our return trip. Thanbks BB. Took: Australian stitch on badge - which fell out of p-pprass's pocket resulting in a 200m run along the beach to retrieve, Left: Side Show Bob.
Couldn't lay our hands on the cache, however I left many footprints where it wasn't! Had a great walk along the deserted beach. Hope to find someone with a budgie cause we bought back a stack of cuttlefish (bones). Also saw an Emu feeding on the beach.
Great spot and now we've finally found a place in January without a soul here. Yay! Left a snowman, took a candle. Beautiful walk along the deserted beach. TFTC.
Found by Mary & David at 1030. Deja vu, as we also enjoyed the original cache here, but we weren't surprised to learn that it had been lost in the shifting sands. Depending on what its contents were at the time, perhaps it might reveal itself to the Coffee Clan and their metal detectors? Another memorable walk along this glorious coast. The sound of the waves was absolutely mesmerising. A few people were fishing near the stairs, and they seemed to be doing reasonably well. Took stone left by a previous visitor, left mondo doll. Our thanks to Biggles Bear, and a Happy New Year.
(1.20pm) lovely walk along the beach, batteries ran out as we got close but managed to find it anyway!

It was Melbourne Cup Day and drizzling. When I hit the beach, I realised it was all mine. There was not a soul within 90 miles, or as far as I could see anyway. After a pleasant walk along the beach, I headed inland, following the GPS, and was led straight to the cache - no searching required. Thanks for the walk on the beach and for the cache.
Found It! This was our 2nd attempt. First time went to far west, the weather and light was against us but enjoyed walking along the beach with all the Emus. This time we went to a closer car park had picnic and found the cache after a short walk along the beach.
Thanks for another great cache.

We have set out for a day of geocaching! The weather is pretty crappy (quite a bit of rain) but we are pretty excited about our new hobby. We are armed with a bag full of trinkets to leave in the caches we find. We made a few wrong turns attempting to find this cache however it was fun to drive around and explore the area. Once at the car park we had a fantastic walk along the beach. A bit of a hunt around and bingo we found it. We really enjoyed finding this cache! Thanks.
Took: Small plastic frog
Left: Orange golf ball and a candle in the shape of a soccer ball

This cache was more like a real treasure hunt for the nephews. Nice little drive down PB track and walk along the beach.
It was starting to get dusky (4.30pm), and it was even darker under the canopy in the dune system. Lucky we found it when we did. We recommend that you send the kids in under the trees where there seems to be access rather trying to bush bash a direct track with the GPS.
Terrain was steeper and canopy lower than we expected, but we found it eventually.
This is what we took and left:
T: took book left mirror ball
J: took compass left nice stone
L: took book of monsters left car
All up for the drive in, walk and searching, walk back driving back to the HWY took a little over an hour. Probably did it quickly because it was dark by the time we hit the car park and the bridge of the croaking frogs.
Thanks

found the cache after a coordinate problem that put me off by about 15 meters,so it was back out on to the beach and relook
and after a short while found it. We also noticed that it was the caches 1st birthday and our tenth find, so after a happy birthday cache song we left a compass keyring and took the present(it was its birthay after all).
Thanks biggles bear for that one

After camping at Lake Tyers the previous night I figured that this would be a perfect time to nab this cache. Nice walk along the beach and a find after 10 minutes.
