Works on the old boardwalk mean that the clues will need to be updated. Will be back online soon.
Fantastic!!! loved this cache, so did Geobub, we spent alot of time here today, for the first time she saw some kangaroos up very close and could not take her eyes off them, they seemed to like her also. perfect weather, perfect location, just wonderful today! A favorite from us TFTC! took: purple fishy, Left: Nubis TB
Found WP1, which looks as if it is need of some TLC as it is starting to fall apart. Found WP2 laying on the ground, replaced it out of sight above where we found it. No luck at WP3 though.
Great way to end a lovely day. Really enjoyed the cache. Side note: GZ is named after a friends ancestor.
Found it with alot of help. I really enjoyed this one. Thanks so much Beacker. I picked up Bruce the shark to continue his journey.
Got past waypoint 2 but by the time we got to the third it was getting too dark so that was end game, as well as the security guard giving us a friendly boot out so he could shut the gate. Maybe we'll be back this way again one day to complete it.
The walk up to the tower was incredible, but super duper hard carrying a 3yr old the whole way. TFTC

Now up to waypoint 3 after some help (Thanks). I got muggled at waypoint 2 while trying to return container a I looked up to find a man looking at me whoops. So I made a hasty retreat to waypoint 3 which I was unable to find at this stage. I will return. I am enjoying this one very very much.

I think I am the only one who couldn't even find the first waypoint. I love caching but sometimes it makes me feel like a total moron.
It took a bit but we found it. We left the 'Bruce' TB. I hope he doesn't eat the fish which is also in the cache. Remember fish are friends. We found the co-ordinates out a bit in some places. WP2 needs repairing. TFTC
On the way to the Great Ocean Road we stayed in Mount Gambier. Today we visited the Crater Lakes. In the Valley Lake Wildlife Park we tried to find this multi. Unfortunately we couldn't find waypoint 2, and therefore didn't find the cache either. Nice little wildlife park though!
Great walk. Saw lots of wildlife. Got a few photo's and found the cache nearing dusk. TFTC SL.
Found with team jantoshys. Had a lovely walk through, beautiful kangaroos, so placid, just relaxing.. Second way point was on the ground, had fallen down but geohubby put it back, hope it stays there. Thanks for bringing us to this multi as it was my first time in there.
2nd Beakers Multi for the day with team EdwardsAus.
Great walk through a sometimes forgotten gem down the lakes.
Best multi in town.

feel like we are on the way with this one. Tried in January but got stuck at the second way point with grass that looked rather like snake habitat. Found that one today ( on the ground - had come unscrewed from anchor point). Also found way point 3. Took a drive to waypoint 4 and couldn't find the cache despite alot of poking around in bushes. Found lots of potential hiding holes but not the right one.. Will try again another day. Really enjoyed the walk in the wild life park.
Went for a wander around the park, didn't see much in the way of wildlife but a pleasant stroll all the same. No problems with any waypointss, 3 took us the longest to find. Got a surprise at GZ, was expecting just another waypoint and instead pulled out the well preserved cache. A nice way to spend a cool early evening with the family. Thanks Beakers Bunch for the cache

Out on Anzac day with the wild clan and team scallywag. Was put off of doing this cache earlier due to past log questions not being answered but thought we'd give it a go and show mr rhyan clan the area were pleased to find wp2 which also took a lot of crawling around to find. End container was not an spc container but our fav one instead wahoo. Enjoyed tftc did some little swaps and sl.
found first wp blowing along the ground very lucky it wasnt further away! may need to be attached a bit better? then after both us, fuddSE and 2 geokids searched for WP 2 for around 20 mins we gave up. can someone please confirm that WP 2 is still there?
Now that's a well placed and seldom visited little box!
Finally got around to completing this multi while on the Northern Invaders 2009 tour of the SE.
Grabbed the 'Wander-Ring' TB to move it along.
Cheers, TFTC again.

Great fun, this one. Shame the wildlife park isn't quite what it used to be but it's still good.
I like the box the end product is concealed in.
Cheers BB and cheers Stringybark for taking us out there and the use of the GPS!

No Potoroos to be seen today
My first attempt at this one was distracted by a tempory survey marker chained to anearby tree.
Found final resting place today after having found all the clues on our last visit to the Mount.
A very relaxing multi, with a very picturesque GZ.
Took nothing, left a TB
Thanks for the cache Beakers'

Nice spot down near the lake, I can see why the event was held here. A good multi that took us through the wildlife park that we probably wouldn't have otherwise seen.
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
This multi took us down to a lake that we had so far ignored but in the course of the hunt we had an enjoyable look at the wildlife park. Well hidden clues that eventually were found though when we found the final we still thought we had one micro to go. THanks Beakers Bunch. TNLN
A great multi that was an enjoyable find this afternoon

One of the bestest strolls I've had for a while [^]
This little nature park is just brimming with interest. The setting in the crater is a bonus.

Just passing Zali The Super Zebra through here to start her journey..Buzz and Fuzz TB also came for a look, they were very interested in the bridge but it was time to go!!
Last of five caches on my second day in Mt Gambier (lakes caches day). I had driven past the Wildlife Reserve the other day, and was glad to have an excuse to enter it. I found the three waypoints relatively easily, although the third one took a little time to locate. Among other things, I had a close encounter with an Emu. [^][^]
I found the cache at 2015 after a short search. I've never seen a container that has been gnawed as much as this one has! There were five holes in various places; the log book and stash note have had their corners gnawed off; a triceratops has had its tail gnawed off (it would take a fearsome animal to do that! ); and a kangaroo soft toy has lost an arm. Quite a demolition job! I've already spoken to BB about the damage, so there's no need for a 'Needs Maintenance' log. Thanks to Beaker's Bunch for an enjoyable and eventful cache. Cheers, dak.

Our third Multi-cache for the day. We were doing fine on this one when we got until the 4th waypoint, and thought are we on the right track or what. (O.K ring the Beaker hotline).
Thanks Beaker for getting us in the right direction, it was good fun.
Geokid enjoyed going through the goodies as usual, and swaped a dinasour for a purple car which means another car for us to trip over.
Thanks for the Hunt BB

Mongrels have once again taken the 4th point. I'll fix the problem soon.

Really it's too hot for this today, but there are so many caches to do around here. We used to come to the Valley Lake years ago to race model boats. The lake has changed somewhat over the years. Left a keyring bottle opener and took a bottle opener. TB Freddo came for a visit but didn't see any other frogs so decided not to stay.
Thanks for another interesting cache Beaker's Bunch.

Waypoint 4 has been replaced and the cache is operational. This one will definitely be harder to be muggled. When you get to waypoint 4, being tall will definitely be an advantage.

While we were at Don't Jump the Fence, a local tour operator stopped by and told us about this lovely park that we must see. Little did he know that it was the next cache on our list.
We almost got stumped on stage one and we decided we would tour the park as long as we were here anyway when inspiration struck and we found it. Unfortunately stage 4 had us going around in circles. After 20 minutes we decided it was time for dinner and called it quits. Better luck to the next cachers.

Found on a geocaching weekend with Liz and Bruce, with BB in tow (although I think the latter were there more for the comedy value!). I am thankful for the assistance - I would have struggled with some of the locations doing it by myself.
This was the only weekends cache where I was the first one to spot the treasure - Liz or Bruce usually beat me to it. The walk around was interesting and I really appreciated the view from the final location. Pity someone had stepped on Liz's glasses and she couldn't see it so well
Left a matchbox car and took a bottle toenail polish. Thanks a bunch, BB

A pleasant cache with a very scenic final location. Finding the first prompt took a while but once we got the hang of it we progressed reasonably well. Darren from idax was caching with us while Beakers Bunch were there as observers. Lots of fun trying to find each location and Darren (tongue in cheek) said even though he had broken my glasses the day before I was still finding the caches quicker than he was. Very enjoyable thanks Beakers Bunch for the journey through this well kept wildlife park.
Found at 12.40pm
An pleasant stroll which my 80 yr old mother in law, Audrey thoroughly enjoyed.
The cache was well set out and the waypoints needed some looking to find.
Enjoyed waypoint 4, thought we were in the wrong place to start with.
I forgot my PDA map was in datum AGD 84 when entering the final waypoint, which would have made GZ grade 4.
After immediately realizing the error the cache was found easily.

Thanks

This was a great multi ...It took us three different trips to complete it..
I think any excuse for my little girl to check out the Kangaroos, even though they freaked her out the first time and she wanted to go home!!!.
Pretty reasonable finds apart from the second last one...very well hidden.
Thanks guys for another good time out.
Took Lonesome traveller travelbug and Frog
left my little girls special " Jade Bear Bug" to start her travels and also a bottle opener.
on to the next one!!!!

Found by Mary & David at 0945. We had a little time to kill before a family meeting, so off to Henty's Hut we went. This is one place Mary had never explored in all her many visits to the Mount. Thoroughly enjoyed the walk and saw kangaroos, emus, wallabies, ducks, moorhens, swans and fairy & blue wrens. Yet another great Mt Gambier cache. We're looking forward to the June Event for a chance to spend more time in this part of the world. Took Rosita, left Australian key ring. Also left TB 'Lonesome Traveller' to enjoy this special park.
A great little multi near the end of my day. A relaxing walk around the park (.. well, mainly walk..sometimes a crawl!!). The black swans are very friendly, as were the Emus.
Left a keyring for a CFS keyring. Thanks Mr Beaker. [^]
Clear skies, TeamAstro.
We really enjoyed the journey of this multi-cache. It was an excellent way to drag you around the area with some good hides.
We had some trouble getting sat lock on point 4 so spent some time on this one
took 2 X AA batteries which was handy as GPS was dying and a small stamp
left puppet and pair of earings.
An excellent cache thanks BB

Congradulations to Andrew&Leesa on there first to find.
I beta tested the cache for Beaker while I was down here for a holiday.
I was shown the starting location and then returned later by myself to check the other stages.
I used a Garmin Geko 201 to test the cache.
I spent about 2 hours checking this one out making sure all waypoints hidden where close to the indicated GZ.
I had an average accuracy of 4 metres on all waypoints.
Some clever hides and tree coverage certainly made this challenging.
A great multi-caching experience with a nice finish.

Found it 5:15pm FTF!
Wow, what a mega cache with some tricky little hides.
Had some trouble with #4 & phoned the BB help desk, but the phone dropped out & we found it before he got back in range....
Allow a solid 1.5hrs for this one....
A great walk, V interesting & great for kids.
Saw a lizard, some black swans, ducks, cape baron geese, some widdle kangeroos, 3 koalas, 2x emus and a abnormally shiny green smurfette circling the carpark close to #1 loc as we where on our way the the final cache location.
Caught up with BB @ gz and had a chat...
Took springy thingy & left 4X AA's
