Had a good look on a snowy day with the kids.
Found a couple of hidey-holes but nothing containing a cache.

Id say its been muggled.....
Found where the location said it should be, awesome spot to hide....

Like others before me, I am certain I found the hidden location, but alas, there was no tin :/ An amazing spot, and with the cache returned or replaced it would be so much better!!! Thankyou for bringing me here to experience the ghosts of the past. TNLN (no cache present so no log to sign)
What a great spot. Could not believe that we were able to walk around down the tunnels. This cache needs to be replaced. It is such a cool place to have a cache. Please CO come and fix it.
Based on the DNF's and especially Gungii's log, I suggest the CO do a maintenance run on this one. We visited before checking logs and enjoyed the spot tremendously. Thanks anyway, Malbena. =^.^=
Searched thoroughly around the coords for this one but should have read the log first, looks like it might be gone!
Nope - should have read the logs first as I usually do. Maybe later. Thanks for getting me to the park and the view though!!
Today was a great day to pick up some caches in this area with TX4000. He had found this previously and stood back and watched me search for about 5 mins. I had looked in all the nooks and crannies and I eventually asked if I was in the right spot. He said yes and showed me where it was previously. Apparently it is not in the same hidey-hole now. Thanks for bringing me here anyway. Interesting area.
Thought Sydney had some good tunnels but these are awesome, thanks for bringing me here & TFTC
Bunnies! Everywhere! Adorable bunnies and a geocache. This is the best! In all honesty I loved the search area. I felt like I was there, patrolling the area under guard while in reality I was looking for a geocache. Loved it. Then I saw the bunnies, which made me adore it.
Let'em come! If it means that we get to geocache in an awesome location like this?? What a blast! Before and after the find, C-MNM and I really enjoyed exploring the area and chasing scores of bunnies! This one earned a favorite for the location for sure.
Heading to Sandy Bay for Orienteering event so decided to clean up this area before the event. An incredible area, full of history. GPS wanted us elsewhere but geo-sense took over and cache soon in hand. Great container.

Never saw any Russians or even Cossacks so the guns were effective at keeping them at bay. Perhaps they did come and took the guns back home as souvenirs
What a great surprise to find this location - we decided to drive back to Ross and any caches that were just off the road were travelling we would go for it. We had no idea what laid above the road. Thanks for bringing us here SL #1214 TFTC fav awarded for the surprise
Enjoyed looking around and with a hint from little.family soon had cache in hand. TFTC.
Cache found during my stay in Tasmania! Thank you for this discovery

Found cache quickly and then enjoyed wandering around looking at the structure whilst Mr tatts was recounting childhood memories TFTC
Such an interesting area and an easy find! I loved exploring the tunnels and rooms. TFTC.
I have not beenhere since I was a kid. It was a favourite spot 30 odd years ago. TFTC
Found while up here waiting for the tall ships to sail past. So far 1 cache and no ships!
Found whilst on holiday from the UK, there are a number to find in this area, the kids lived this site.
Smiley and bomber enjoyed this one. We Will have to bring the cub back here as he'll enjoy exploring the fort.
[This was my second find after 'River Views'
Wow what an amazing place - I could have spent hours in the catacombs and rooms - The GPS was really useful to navigate through all the tunnels as It was not where I thought it would have been (from a survey from above the battery).
As I used the last space in the paper provided I made sure to add another sheet so it should have a few more finds in it]
I found a torch to be really helpful to find this cache!

Sunny Easter morning, perfect time to explore. Geokids loved it, TFTC Malbena. No TB in here.
The cycling touring duo from Jindy fluked this one rather quickly with our trusty steeds parked close by, we then enjoyed a great view atop having breakfast viewing yacht races on the D. Most worthy of a favourite.
Nice quick find. Stopped to look around, saw some tape on the ground and thought it looked like camo. Got out the trusty Samsung and bingo. No tb. Think previous hunter has not logged it out.Tftc.
On a boiling hot day (41.8 and a record for Hobart) Geo Junior and I decided to find one cache to become the most southern so far found. This turned out to be a beaut spot and a beaut hide. Thanks Malbena.
Great place for a cache. There are a thousand hidey holes. Couldn't find the trackable that's on the inventory. Must have moved on unlogged. TFTC
A very quick find! Not being vertically challenged did help! Took/left nothing. TFTC
Well first i have to thanks the CO for bringing me to this location, what a great view over the river and the area itself, coordinates bang on so very quick find.
Dropped off Monumental TB.
Thanks for the cache

Overcast day made the GPS play up but eventually found it with some bricks and a stretch TFTC
It didn’t take long to find this and we left Liam's Pet Blue Whale travel bug.
The log book is filling up although there are some blank pages here and there.
We had an engagement in Sandy Bay and decided to grab a few caches in the area afterwards. It was a bit showery on the drive there but the sun was out by the time the function was over. But the mountain looked to have cloud building up and eventually a few spot began to fall on us, curtailing our final cache attempt.

We were on a mission to find a geocache for International Geocaching Day! We had searched for this cache before with no luck. It was the only cache we hadn't found in the area so we had a second look around and found it. A second look always pays!
Thanks,

Tremendous views from here and amazing history, soon had the cache in hand and with the log signed we took nothing and left nothing, TFTC
great spot for a cache, just needed to go on tippy toes to reach it. thanks for the cache
Found today, great location, kids loved the tunnels! The log book needs replacing ASAP as it's full. TFTC
Urgently requires a new log and a clean up of old papers within this cache.
Managed to find a space today for out log, but only one space

A fascinating maze of a place.
Cache is actuallty micro size (listed as small) so was not able to leave the small travel bug that I intended to set out from here, unfortunately.
Good to see the rotary gun placement still intact, and many of the compartments.

Once I navigate my way correctly to GZ the cache was an easy find in the only obvious place and was retrieved with the help of a nearby stick.
Iphone didnt want to give up exact location this trip.. and found another hidey hole with lots of room.. infact my whole arm dissappeared !
after some investigation we found it.

I've driven past here many times but never stopped to explore before. Here today with my two small boys and friends - fabulous place for the kids to run around! With a bit of help from me my 4 year old managed to find the cache and was very excited, he took a marble and left a balloon! TFTC
Nevermind the Russian's, unless they're Russian spiders! Thanks for the challenge - or was that a dare.
Obviously I am a bit late in logging this find. Mum (GeoCheryl) & I enjoyed lunch at Wrest Point Casino's "The Coffee Shop", then headed of to find this cache. Nice hide. TFTC
