In the area before arriving at the event.

Today, jesswrigley and I started the day with West Beach parkrun and a breakfast nearby. A few morning errands were had whilst making a few geocaching stops, and then in the afternoon, I headed to Anstey Hill Recreation Park for a loop in the Gun Emplacement / geological hike section and surrounds. It was incredibly hot and not a lot of shade, and there was still kangaroos and other wildlife around.
Great views from this spot. I managed to follow geotrail up, and find the terrific hiding place! So close to the track, yet so tantalisingly out of visual sight from muggles. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Hollies for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Not easy to see from the track but then an easy "log". Thanks for the cache. Found 1751.
Great spot - not a hard walk from Gate 9, fantastic views of TTG and the CBD and beyond. It’s a crime that no one has been here for 5 months! Thanks Hollies!!
Needing to smash some Calories after devouring a Caramel Slice then an OAK Iced Coffee this morning at a fun PI (22/7 event) soon after finding some caches, it was decided to do a small hike and go for this one and another to the south straight after. A quick find of a well hidden cache in great condition with dry contents was made at 12:09 on 22 July 2018.

Cache #1855. On my way to find more "Hidden Creatures" (Dragon).
Today is a Sunny Sunday, suitable for hiking and geocaching. Today's target is Anstey Hill Conservation Park.
It was today's third find. Nice and easy. Good size container.
Signed the log book. Took a TB.
Thanks for the cache, Hollies.

Found it today. Left a golfball I found near the previous cache - hope someone can use it! TFTC
Woo hoo Pi Day. Start with a Pi event for breakfast. Cache all day and finish at a Pi event for tea. Followed of course with some more night caching by torchlight for dessert. [^] 5.00 a.m. start on Pi day and 3.00 a.m. finish the day after Pi day. [B)] Even managed to get back to Temporary Reel Nirvana to boot. [:o)] 24 finds , 2 events attended, but 2 DNF's , lots of great company, some laughs, some spills, some blood. Another great Pi day.
Leaving my geomobile at the event I jumped into Anymules geomobile. Arranged to meet Mrs. SA Sewer rats and Blackadders for a walk around Ansteys Hill before a day collecting more Reel caches and any others we were passing.
One final cache on the hill before head back down to the car.

A day out with a Starfish, Rat and a Mule venturing around Anstey Hill. A fantastic view from a decent cache placement. An easy enough find in an obvious hiding place. Dropped TB. TFTC
Good views from up here.

Lovely walk up the hill and great views from GZ. Container full of water again and we drained but log books soggy. Could next finder please bring a zip lock bag and perhaps a new log. Thanx
Found by The Boofs TFTC. Container was 90% full of water. Drained it the best I could.
A lovely sized find after a nice walk with Hill2Sea. The container is slightly cracked on the lid and may need replacing in the near future. Thanks for the hunt today:)
Bored of sitting around at home,
I headed out for a bike ride this morning
A perfect day for it !!
Coolish and overcast [^]
So I headed for the hills
I was surprised how quiet the road was up the hill
So the bike ride went well.
Before long I arrived at Gate 10
Dunno where gate 9 is !!
From Gate 10,
the stroll to GZ was delightful.
No hills, but plenty of views
And an easy cache find after 10 minutes of strolling [^]
TFTC and a bit of exploration !!

Very enjoyable walk up the hill to stunning views over Adelaide. Quick find. The lid of container is broken, but placement of camouflage keeps the weather out. Thanks for the cache.

Haa ahh haa ahh haa ahh. G is reasonably fit and this was a good climb. Views worth it. Finding it took longer than normal both because of the good hide but also what seems to be the built in mapping error in the iPhone. Anyway. Took TB and it is probably on its way to somewhere in Europe. A satisfying find on the way to the shops. TFTC.

The first in a series of cache retrievals aimed at increasing the fitness levels of Hawk and the smillie count of Owl. (Though it was Owl who wheezed up the hill!) The recalcitrant GPS had Owl all over the place, but she eventually heeded Hawk's injunctions to ignore it and just use her eyes. Fantastic view and Owl left a TB to soak it up.
A thankful break in the rain allowed us to
quickly climb up and grab this one while in the area.
I must come back here soon and follow to trails further.

Day 7 of my trip to the Oz Mega in Murray Bridge with Mistraluna.
Early start to caching today with an attempt to get as many types of caches in the one day as we could.
Was a quick find here and a pleasant walk to GZ.
Thanks Hollies for the cache.

Day 7 of our Oz Mega 2014 trip. Made another early start today in an attempt to claim our smileys for the 8 cache types in a day challenge. We ended up with 12 different cache types if you count the lab caches as one of the cache types.
Headed into Adelaide to grab a few before heading back out to Murray Bridge via this cache. Great views from up here. Thanks Hollies

Out for a day of caching with mohuja so thought we would give this one a go on the way past. Went for a bit of a wander and an adventure whilst we were there too, such a beautiful part of our local area - we are very lucky! TFTC
Loved the view from GZ. I've never been to this area of our lovely city and I must say that I will return. Thanks for bringing us to this area. TFTC
TFTC - A quick find after a brisk walk up Anstey hill.

Found on a very crisp early morning run. Had to walk the last 50 metres though, as I had just run 3.5 km, at least half of it up hill, and my legs were giving out! Great view of the city from here.
Grabbed the TB that I will log later, as I don't have it with me at the moment.

Nice morning for a walk. Great location, great view. Left Belgian Beer Bottle Top TB. TFTC
