Needed a cache for today and noticed this one had not been done, so headed out this way late afternoon. Very, very cold up here at Toops Tower, picked up a couple of sticks to prod the ground! Finally found and great full to be heading back home. Thanks for this cache
Travelled all the way up here in the rain hoping for a quick find and just didnt happen today
Was down in this area doing a bit of caching and I thought I would stop past this cache. I had a bit of a poke around this area; however, with the number of spots this cache could be hidden, along with the fact my gps was bouncing around a bit, I thought I could be ages here so I decided to move on to another cache and leave this one for another time. A bit of a boys look on this one.
Can finally get a smiley
With no help from previous finders or no response from co
Thought I would come back here again today after doing a mystery nearby
Found this 1 buried away under some metal framework

Had another look around today as tried this 1 many many years ago and the gps bounces around so much up there…tried to concentrate on a few trees that might be used as cache hides but empty handed again
Mr Tardis was out on a southern Fleurieu explorer adventure motorbike ride. I stopped here to find this one. The last time I was here my GPSr had me 10 meters away from where I was today. Needless to say I found the cache in the logical place this time.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Klems' Mob & Hurtle.

I'm always keen to find old caches, so made the journey up on a nice afternoon. Found after a lengthy search. TFTC
This cache took me awhile to find as what I was looking for wasn’t the actual cache, PAFd and then soon come away with the goods
Today I headed south to Clarendon, Kangarilla, Meadows and Prospect hill to find a few caches that were new from previous visits and ones I’d missed previously. Total of 33 finds for the day

We have been allowed to travel to South Australia and our first stop was Bordertown then onto Millicent where we will spend a few days before heading towards Adelaide.
We have arrived, it has been such a long time since we have been to Adelaide and we are out there finding the many caches that have been placed since we were last here or the ones we have not had time to find before. All caches are in good condition, some were easy finds some were down right difficult due to the great quality of their camo.

I'd invited myself to share a day caching with clare007 and CPwanderer around the Tinjella Track in Kuitpo Forest to get the new cards series there
Rex came too, of course, and so did the cheap ebike that I had bought last night
So cheap, that while my muggle son[:X] and I had tea at my muggle daughter's[:X] place and I played with my grandkids, my son-in-law[:X] took the tube from my grandson's BMX and placed it onto my ebike's rear wheel so that I could ride the ebike[:X][^]
We were joined by Pikapene and Spence-_-Man and those two men[:X] made my hard day a whole lot easier by pushing my heavy ebike up the steepest of the hills when my dodgy knees just could not pedal fast enough to keep the power on[xx(]
They also shared Rex' lead[:X] so that I could concentrate on pedalling and steering[^] as well as stopping[^] with not quite right brakes[xx(]
Lots of laughter, lots of tales told of caching adventures and all 52 cards were found as we traversed the trail from go to whoa[^][|)][xx(][|)][xx(] A rough Google Earth mapping of the GPSr track log said about 14km[|)][xx(]... give or take 1 or 2km for the off track detours etc
Best part was: I only fell off once and a very nice, fit young man helped pick the bike and I up[^]
After leaving the others at Kuitpo, Rex and I found another 3 caches for the day's total of 55 finds as we made our way to muggle partner's mother's house for tea, tired but exhilarated![^] There was 1 DNF in Kuitpo which everyone else had found apart from me and although Pikapene helped me look[^], we had to rush to catch up to the others so it was only a short look
Thought I'd be here for ages, considering how tired I was[|)][xx(]
Finding the cache though was easier than I'd thought, once I really thought about it
Great to find a 15 year old Klems' Mob cache[^]
Nice view on a coolish day[^]

Showers had been forecasted for the morning, but we awoke to find it surprisingly clear. [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I decided to head to Onkaparinga River National Park for a morning hike, followed by some nearby adventures. We hiked down to the river from Chapel Hill winery, and then as we were hit with intermittent drizzles, we did a small walk/loop in Hardy's Scrub. After that, we did a large detour to get to McClaren Flat, passing by Wickham Hill Road's 7% incline to find an oldie geocache there. The rain by then had settled in, so there was just some shopping to complete, before heading home.
Swung by at an interesting peak location. I wasn't looking forward to this search judging by past logs and various DNFs. We had a look around, and with no cache spotted, I made a PAF, who gave us some good advice. Some more searching, and eventually made the find. Wow, that is rather hidden away. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Klems' Mob for the cache placement, and to Hurtle for its ongoing maintenance.

This cache was found today on a bit of s circuit down south with Bob From Elsewhere. We travelled down to McLaren Vale, across to the Kuitpo area, then back up through Meadows and Aldgate. We were also joined by FeatherWaite for a large part of the journey.
We had terrific weather and managed to visit a number of different cache types including some older traditionals and multis such as this one.
After reading previous logs, I was anticipating some difficulty with the find. However the container was quickly located at good coordinates.
Thanks Hurtle for the cache.

Found on a Big Day Out South of the Port Road with e.gregory.
Later we teamed up with Featherwaite to find a number of caches near the Kuitpo Forest area.
We were lucky to come with a suitable TOTT. The Plastic Detector.

Eskies5 and I had a planned trip to SA from Qld planned and a list of caches were made. This one ticked a box to fill a spot in my hidden months calendar. The search started off dismally with the new neighbours hanging out and probably wondering what a car was doing heading down towards them. Once we had corrected that ooops we started our search and search we did for quiet some time. We ended up using a couple of PAFs all to no avail and then a message to the CO. I was ready to call it but Eskies5 was determined to make this find. Grateful for her determinate when she called out she had it. With a little happy dance our names were signed into the logbook. Day 2 of a dedicated geotrip from QLD to SA to tick off lots of boxes for Kestal and Mrs Esky...a priority is hidden months and this one filled a spot for Kestal. The first cache on our trip so far where we didn't make the find relatively quickly. Had a moment where we thought we would DNF it and Kestal suggested leaving we move on as it was getting late in the afternoon and we still had others on our list with our final destination being Victor Harbor. I decided to give it one last crack and systematically scoured the area and we were finally rewarded with a cache!!! Big sigh of relief given by Kestal. TFTC Klems' Mob (& Hurtle for maintaining).
Did not expect it to be hidden where it was! Took some help from the owner to find it. TFTC
Found after searching for 40mins then with help from the owner! Tough but fun not easy to spot. Awesome view. Real old one!
Quick stop on the way home from work, found it pretty much straight away, in good condition. TFTH.
Thanks heaps to the new CO for ensuring this os accurately in play! Great to get a smiley here after a previous lost afternoon. Cheers Hurtle TFTC
Found It!
Nice to put this one to bed after a DNF here years ago. In the end I had to phone a friend. That is surprisingly well hidden! Not a bad view from up here either!

Out and about working on the Adelaide Rally. This is a road I had not driven down before. And there's a cache here too. And there's a gap before we need to be at the next spot so a stop was in order.
However given the hide is currently a bit more than a D1.5, or I am hopeless at searching, or both.
Eventually I rang the new CO who was able to point me in the right direction and shortly after the cache was found and the logbook signed.
Back to the rallying.

Well this took us ages!!!!!!!!!!! After a half an hour's searching with a previous finder I was ready to call this one missing in action. Rang the CO offering to replace it but another search finally yielded the prize ..... I made it about 8m. off, but as previous searchers have said, the trees play hell with gps accuracy.
The lid wasn't sealing very well when we found it but the log was dry and the downward pressure of the structure above it was keeping out the moisture.

Had a quick look for this cache but due to being a bit short of time, didn't find it. GPS wasn't giving a reliable location, probably due to tree cover. Will try again another day.
Had a really good hunt for a half hour but couldn't find it.
This one may have been removed by muggles.

Muggled another group of cachers who had been looking for this one, but had come up empty handed. We gave it a go for about 15 minutes but couldnt find it either. Widened the search but no joy
Great views from this road though!

Couldn't find it. Was rainy though so not inclined to stomp around the wet scrub.
Having not found this one early in our caching years we swung by to redeem ourselves, even so with the long grass and sat lok giving us a hard time a bit of experience soon zeroed in to a successful find TFTC postiegirl06
This cache has been bugging for ages! Think the third time I've looked, the recent rain I think has made it more visible today. Thanks for getting me up here regularly : )

Heading to Kuitpo with Ismartis, Rod81w and Briana, we made a small detour here so I could have another look as the previous time I was looking in a completely wrong area.
Today with a previous finder and after waiting for the GPSr to settle down we made the find. [^]

I was out caching today with rod81w, JJ52 and Briana . JJ wanted to do this one as she had had trouble finding it in the past and we had a previous finder with us today so we headed down the road to GZ in convoy.

Travelling from Maryborough QLD to Bindoon WA via NSW, VIC, SA and the Nullarbor towing our home on wheels. We are staying with friends at their relatives' hilltop vineyard in Kuitpo and just had to go out and find this cache so close by. Out caching in the thunder storm this afternoon with clare007 & my dog, Mandy (she's deaf so couldn't hear the thunder)...
We managed to grab this one in the calm between the storm...probably not a good idea to be standing next to a tower in a lightening storm...didn't think of that at the time, anyway...we stood at GZ but nothing was found...we scratched around a bit in other places & continued to return to GZ...after some more scratching around the cache was located only 1m away...good co-ordinates...thanks for the cache postiegirl.

Out with hevwalker & Mandy the dog.
We'd made it through the storm,
but ended up near a tower while the lighting show was still happening.
The excellent coordinates & clue revealed the hidden treasure.
Thanks for bringing us here postiegirl06

Another DNF for this cache. I had a good hunt around at dead on zero, but I just couldn't lay hands on this one in the time I had available. I'll return.
How nice to find a cache I now own! Hurtle told me it wouldn't be missing and he was right! Good hide and great view. Thanks to Klems Mob for passing this one over to me. SL
Been a longtime since I have been to this one, but my Bestie still managed to find it in the logical spot!

Na, couldn't find it, very pleasant views from here, plus some friendly Bulls.
Out for a drive heading to Kuitpo and stopped off here on the way. After an extensive search in the logical spot and a few others further afield no cache was found. I think this one needs checking please.
Down here for work and decided as it was sunny,so came out at lunchtime and spent 30 mins to no avail
2nd DNF to add to today's list, searched in all the likely spots, unsure when there was a fire in the region that gps wanted me to go, guess ill return when it gets checked. Cheers
Touring Australia having left Perth in late February we are leisurely touring South Australia.
Currently camped with our Caravan at Kuitpo, we have been weather watching all week. As we attended the dinner event in Adelaide last night it was a late night for us so a late start for today seemed in order After lunch a plan was hatched and a quick loop away from our camp was undertaken. Lovely area with some great vistas and of course so many wineries.
Of course no day can go by without getting a cache fix too.
After finding this cache we also headed off to find the nearby GCA cache. Making this a 2 for. lol

Had a look around but couldn't find any obvious places to stash the cache - pressed for time so didn't stay too long. :C
DNF - Though admittedly myself and Madbird weren't there for long, I honestly couldn't see where the cache would be where the GPS was pointing us - though it was also cloudy (Thanks weather, sunny and nice until we decide to go out.) hopefully the cache hasn't been muggled.
Had a good look but it was a DNF for us today. Our stats aren't too good for the day so far - 2 finds and 2 DNF's!! Doesn't matter really, it's nice to see some sunshine and feel warm for a change
Read through the logs during the week and thought about the clue a bit more, so we had several ideas in our mind when we arrived today [^]. Really enjoyed the drive up this morning, coming straight up Toops Hill Road , rather than from Wickhams Hill last week.
It didn't take long to turn up the cache .

Spent a long time here and thought we searched quite thoroughly, but we couldn't see it this time . Our GPS had us jumping around in 3 different spots today [B)].
The sour sobs and other grass is growing rapidly and they may have obscured our view , so we'll come back when its all dried out.
Thanks for showing us this spot Klem's Mob.
