Decided to start the New Year with a drive and a cache. I did lots of scrambling but it was BHK86 that found the prize - wow it blends in well now! Used a tool to access the log, signed and returned as found.TFTC
A bit of a detour from dubbo but we came for one cache, so might aswell make it 2. Thanks for placing this cache. A find was made after climbing up and over the rocks.
Awesome little spot for a better cache..container rusty, contents damp and gross...needs maintenance otherwise I would've given it a
Best hide so far. Great view. Road to the hide us well maintained. 2wd car would be fine.
# 7472 In Dubbo for the weekend with iPlod65, this time being shown around the town's geocaches. Lovely spring-like conditions which makes a nice change from Canberra.
I really enjoyed this spot. The container has seen better days.
Thanks vra

Last one for the day. We clambered around , up and down and eventually made the find. This cache is a rusty job and I needed a screwdriver to prise it open. Great place for a cache.
Found with 94dego94
Difficulty and terrain defiantly needs to be changed
Needs new container

Needs new container
Needs owner maintenance, cant get lid off and all rusted out. Fantastic spot though
This was a targetted cache on our road trip as it was a missing hidden month required. The container is showing its age but contents were dry.
All is good with this cache.

Found. Container super rusty but contents dry. Actually a cool place for some bouldering
Interesting spot, found after a short scramble around. Thank you for the cache! : )
Just one more... just one more. Well I'm already out this way so may as well continue a few kilometres and find... just one more! Had a lovely little scramble over and around and then found the cache. Thanks for placing this one here, vra!
Found quickly, after stumbling over all sort of rocks and a (I think I'll check there first moment). TFTC.
Cool. Found with Ketannah & MrsDorper. Nice sunny day. Plus nice rock formation. Cheers TFTC
Heading from Dubbo to Narromine for a day of caching, we took the back roads for a while to be able to pick up a couple of caches on the way. This one was almost at the end of the road, and we had to fight our way through numerous spider webs on the way to the cache. Noted that the cache had been wet, but was now completely dry inside. We think the Difficulty/Terrain grading may be a bit on the low side; it would not be possible for example to drive a wheel chair up to the cache.
#300 Last of twelve finds for a day of caching around Dubbo, Wongarbon and Minore. Found after a short search. Great cache to up a milestone. TFTC
Found it - I'm just a beginner but learning - took me a little while but got it !
Found it kids first cache left bouncy ball took nothing. Tin was full of water again left upside down.
A lovely adventurous spot here on this back road. Found quickly very early this morning. Now its just a matter of getting the lid off. I shouldn't have left the keys in the car. Darnit. The pen will have to do. TFTC.
Needs a new container- full of water. Emptied it out and put a replacement log and pencil in a smaller container inside the old one.
Nice drive.
Nice drive.
Today we explored Dubbo and surrounds using geocaching as a guide.
Thanks to all cache owners for placing and maintaining these caches for our enjoyment.

Found with hubby who has named himself Fomoco. He enjoys hunts like these because he gets to hunt for treasure of the 4 wheeled variety. He's an old Aussie muscle car fan.

Found while showing a newbie the fun you can have caching. Of course we were talking so went straight past, the other couple I was caching with the experienced penny and Ian. Covered all over the rocks til I came upon the prize.
[font=Comic Sans MS]Hi there vra. We found your cache "Lagoon Creek Rocks" at 4:28:00 PM today.
This was our 7th cache find in a caching run of 7 Finds & 1 DNFs today. (So this now makes our find count 9072.)

We had a great afternoon 'caching with blissbaby and her muggle friend, before heading back to Dubbo to meet up with yet more 'cachers.
Thanks for not placing an eclipse tin or a 200ml Sistema here. For over ten years we have watched the quality of caches get steadily worse and worse. Once upon a time caches seemed to be "regular" sized, and well stocked with goodies for kids to swap. Nowadays it seems like every other cache is small and devoid anything to induce children to enjoy the hunt. It made us feel really good to find this cache in a "special" place.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent. (We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards

TFTC. What a lovely place for a cache, well worth the drive, almost found a bushranger.
After a 6km of corrogations on a dirt road. We climbed all over, the rock's an then geo granny called out found it. Found 2 x TB an will give a new home.
We decided to go up over the rocks to find this cache, when approaching from the back would probably have been a lot easier (especially in sandals… ) We found it easier enough in the end though TFTC
Had work out this road today, so took the chance to finally log this one on my lunch brake. Long way to seemingly nowhere, but nice drive. Had to brake for 3 lizards and a duck. Lots of places cache could have been so had fun climbing, but think the terrain should be rated higher then 1. Anyone know what the story of the tree is? Has a pretty impressive cage around it, only note that its heritage but no explanation why. TFTC
I did wonder if this road actually led anywhere other than to a cache
After scrambling over the rocks and locating the rusty tin I didn't bother finding out
I could already hear the banjos playing !!
Strange things go on down roads like this !!

Hi. We found the cache without a problem in about two minutes. I think the terrain rating might be a little overrated for this cache to be honest. Some kids appear to have been to the cache and thrown a piece of burning plastic into the cache and used the lighter in the cache to smoke marajuana. The cache is functional, nevertheless. The tin is rusty, but will probably survive another year or two.
TNLN, thanks for the cache
