Big Grin Yeah, found part 2 in NZ today. Big Grin A chance look at forums on gps.org.nz, quick email exchange with DC, quick-ish (1hr +) dash to reach GZ at dawn, to be rewarded by a very easy find. Good fun! So yes, the cache is still safe in its hiding place &, as other logs have noted, IN the hint item. Glad to arrive outside working hours, coz hadn't come up with a good excuse for being there Wink

Thanks heaps to DarenCollins for the kickstart on this little adventure & thanks for a very memorable cache.

Quick find using the “North to South†co-ordinates supplied by fraggle69 (UK). Many thanks for your help in completing this, our first international co-operative multi-cache. Signed the logbook in both our names.

We in turn found the final co-ordinates for the complimentary “South to North†cache. Details forwarded to fraggle69, good luck for the double.

Cheers from YuGeo4 in NZ.

My first Internatational co-operative geocaching adventure.
I picked up the coords before the team was assembled, so did a little bit of finger tapping. It wasn't too long before YuGeo4 pinged me an email, infact I think I had two offers in the same day. You guys are obviously a bit like busses, wait all day then three come along at once Smile.
The clock is ticking only about 3 or 4 hours before I am in a field up to my neck in mud searching for the final of South to North.
Weather thismorning 3/12/2007 @ 09:20 UTC
Wind 9 kt from west
Temperature 8°C
A perfect winters day lunchtime caching to look forward too:)

Found the UK part of this multi cache in Finchamstead, and entered my details in the cache log. Have the co-ordinates of the second part in New Zealand and would like a Geocache Partner over the pole to contact me for the co-ordinates. It would be nice to pair this with GCMYWH too, which I'll put a note on as well. Drop me an email if you can help.

Logging this on behalf of the team QRANG UK and Tramper Ted NZ as we received a message from Rick-a-Mortis saying we could now log it. TFTC

Well you needed to be very mad to try this one today and QRANG2 is very mad and waded through the flooded path. Hiking boots useless, wellies useless - got wet way above the knees - needed a canoe really. Anyway got it - cache was above water just but damp then waded back to the car where QRANG1 had been dry and happily reading his Economist - wimp!. Will look for a friendly NZ buddy to complete this with soon

My partner from New Zealand has just e-mailed me to say that he found the cache on 3rd June - success! A new partnership has begun - annieanniemul/ADV. Now I hope to be able to complete 'Over the Pole: South to North' as ADV has done the first part.

07-May-07
Found the South part of this one this afternoon/evening with my friend Lizaburt. The cache was hidden very naturally and we hope we've managed to re-hide it as well.
I hope to be able to find a partner in New Zealand who will help me to complete this cache and maybe the South -North cache too! Have found a partner from N.Z. - thanks for responding so quickly.

A nice pleasant walk on a bank holiday afternoon in the sunshine following a big downpour today. This is the 7th cache today with Annieanniemul.

We can only apologise profusely for the state of the UK micro. We have been on a very prolonged holiday close to the "other end" of this multi. The cache was replaced with a new container and log sheet on the morning of 18th April.

Found Part 1 today and will look for a partner soon.

This micro is in need of maintenance the log sheet is completely saturated.
Luckily I always use an ink tank pen which writes on wet paper but future visitors may not be so fortunate!

Big Grin At last we can log this!! We've been on the trail since June last year when the nettles were high and the midgies were out for blood. Thanks to Ksenia for helping to complete this cache hunt. Hope they had as much fun with their part as we did with ours. Thanks to Birders and Rick-a-Mortis for running an interesting and challenging geocache.

Found this Christmas Eve, right after dinner. Didn't pay enough attention and went on quite a hunt in the wrong place, but it was a nice walk. Eventually came to the right place and after some digging with Mr K playing watch dog, easily retrieved the treasure. Thanks to Cache Traders for initiating this hunt and helping us solve it both ways!

Been a while since we found it (logging it a bit late), but SL, and I believe the trade was:

- pig keychain
+ rooster fridge magnet

Found thanks to Kiwi cacher Retti, not a bad combination Kiwi & pomm sounds like an exotic cocktail. Signed log with both names (see photo's) off now to give Westie a bath.

Will wait for Retti before I log the NZ part of the cache thanks to cache traders & douglasf for getting the two of us together. TN LN SL TFTC Westie Walker & Retti

Yay Smile Westie Walker came to my rescue and finished this cache which I started way back in August when I found South to North with GenCuster.
Not sure how to break the news though as the cocktail has more of an aussie t(w)ang...not quite so exoctic but now has one heck of a kick Smile

Found on Saturday partnered with Steam Hammer in the UK...
TB Kiwi Cacher Twin #1 jumped into the cache, thinking he could get a head start on his race around the world against TB Kiwi Cacher Twin #2 - only to be quickly retrieve - WHAT A CHEAT!

Loved the item relating to the hint - appears to not be functioning.... too many spiders.

Thanks for the fun on this cache.
