We received TB 468895, Lil' Lost Pup from friends who went to New Zealand/Australia on vacation and picked up the bug. Then they (sadly) did not log it's removal or place it here (in the USA). They gave it to us to put back into the system (don't judge them - they had a lot of life-challenging events occur after the bug pickup). So we are wanting to log the pickup (even though we did not pick it up) so that we can drop it here in the USA. Original pickup would have been later winter of 2005.
Found on Tuesday while outl with friends but had computer problems os not able to log.
Lots of kids playing in the park while on holiday no problem to find

First cache. Easy walk if approaching from the west but can be a bit muddy if approaching from east. Easy walk for kids.
[It was a busy day for this cache as someone else found it today also. Cheers, Simon.]
Quite muddy up on the farm today especially around the gates. Walked back to the car via the lower track and was rewarded with a peek into some very nice gardens by the stream. Thanks. TNLN
When I arrived near ground zero it resembled a lunar landscape. Lots of dead tree stumps and piles of wood chip. Never mind, the GPS zero-ed out on a true-to-style willbuild hiding place. Took a bit of a struggle to get the cache though.

Rained cats and dogs half the day. Blew like New Orleans the other half. River was up, just to make things interesting.
Easy find with no trees to bother us.
Thanks for the cache mate.

We are "ON FIRE" 2nd cache in 20 minutes, good to have local knowledge. back to house now to finish the beer, maybe via Dickens cache now the rain has stopped. taking Kookaburra TB for a ride. Thanks
Typical Willbuild hide - but well done all the same. Stuffed Kookaburra TB (literally) into the container. The poor thing should be released as soon as possible. Thanks.
Flushed with success after an FTF at Prime Position I decided to try a couple of other unfound caches and set off for this one. Getting to GZ was easy but I struggled to find this cache and yet with the trees gone there were not that many possibilities. I had a cursory look at what I thought was a likely hide but I thought, Willbuild has been on crutches so he would not have got to hide it there.
I did find a rake presumably left by the workers who cut the trees.
Some time later, I had exhausted all the possibilities it seemed, so I returned to the "difficult" spot and sure enough, there it was.

Got the right entry point but then made it harder than it should have been by turning the wrong way. Spotted the likely willbuild hiding place from some distance and wasn't dissapointed.

Had the coords in the GPSr but didn't read the notes, so surprise surprise no cache to find, just a landscaper's dream.
Nice spot tho'.

Will remove this one until trees cut down and will replace in same place or near by

Went there to have a look today......found the whole area is closed off as there are as the trees have termites and are about to fall down.
The council will be cutting these down soon.
So if the cache is hidden in the trees wilbuild it may pay to move the cache.
Cheers M+S [:O)]

A Guide showed us the path. An easy location to get to, but a lot of likely sites at the waypoint. Left a yoyo, took a car. Nice views of the gardens on way in, no stock about.
Visited with Surgez.
Bush whacked a considerable portion of the journey. Two geomuggles were loitering around the area, they acted more stranger than us.
Dropped off a lil puppy TB.
Cheers!

There were some nice gardens down by the river here. Wasn't hard getting to GZ although the GPS was a little off, but I could see a likely location and low-and-behold there was the cache. No exchange made. Cheers Gav [427]
NIce walk just before dark with family. Gorgeous back yards. Thanks Willbuild.
This park brings back memories. This was one of the first areas I taught my children and their intermediate school orienteering on some 23 years ago.
Its still a good area to learn orienteering on but as Tofska says it needs to be re mapped because of all the changes.
Easy cache find 5.30pm.
+ New Zealand pen
- Rubbers
Thanks Willbuild

Had to double back to get the right path, but after that things went a lot smoother. Found with Adee, our 3rd for the day.

I did the fieldwork for an orienteering map of this park some years ago. I can see that's going to have to be re-done!
