Appears that some work has been going on and trees pruned etc so no luck
Staying the night in Picton with Mrs G before heading out into the Sounds tomorrow for a friends wedding.
Had a lovely walk around Picton after tea and collected a few caches. Headed back to our accommodation...changed into our runners and came out in the late evening for a run.
Lovely walkway. Looks like someone has been doing some serious tree pruning & chopping at GZ. Obvious stump devoid of cache. Suggest it's gone burgers.

Wondering if it's gone walkabout. Had a good feret around the tree stumps, logs and leaves but nothing. But saying that today's success rate has been nothing to crow about
Caching the road from Spring Creek to Picton, and back, via Robin Hood Bay and all that gravel
Easy find in the sun today

Arrived on ferry, 14 May 2013 and decided to do a search before heading out toward Nelson.
Such a nice walkway...and the hint was very accurate - it really is five paces!

Staying in Momorangi Bay for the week and our first day there we werent allowed in the water Good thing we had planned to do some caching anyway. Accompanied by [red] Ariestiger [/red], [blue] Ben1998 [/blue] & his Mum. Kid Muggles: Luca & Jade and now new cachers ([green]Grant + Wendy007[/green]) Takes alot longer when you have more people This was our 18th stop of a long day. The GPS seemed to zero in ALOT sooner than the actual GZ so we spent longer here than needed. Thanks for the cache
Container needs a good clean-out as everything inside is wet apart from log book (which is only damp). Thanks.
1st cache on the South Island during my summer holidays. The local muggles living neraby seems to know about "the GC thing" and gave me clear instructions where to put it back. TFTC. Sherlock Hood.
Walked from the holiday park to here. A grey day, but nice out of the wind. Log still wet. TFTC TNLN

A lovely walkway although quite chilly today. TFTC

Found it with GingerKisses our team is branching off. Eldest boy Mathew and his girlfriend are off on their own. TFTC
After a false start - confused the ditch - but then, despite the pouring rain, was soon on track. Perhaps not the best cashe for a rainy day! But quite a sense of achievement and worth getting soaked. Last sucessful find before leaving South Island.
A quick dive into the wet bushes and the cache was mine. New granddaughter and her Mummy thought I was quite mad! TFTC
Found this one on our 4 weeks holiday in the South Island.

This walkway must be a great source of placing potential caches. The bits I seen of this walkway makes me want to come back and do the whole walk.
Cheers for the cache.

Sort of found this one by mistake as I tried to find the carpark for the Pigs Nose cache - that'll teach me to go read the description first instead of driving to what looks like it might be the starting point (black eye). Nevermind, it was good to start the day with a find. Thanks for the cache.
On a beautiful sunny morning, what better than walking this nice easy trail and stopping in at the Waikawa yacht club for a coffee and chocolate cake with whipped cream and a scoop of ice cream. Oh yes and we did find the cache although the bush at first seemed a bit formidable it was quite easy stepping into and finding the cache site.
The walkway was a very popular place this Sunday afternoon. Muggles passed me by without hesitating as I crouched at GZ . A quick find and I was back on the path heading back to the car. TFTC
Nice track... 1st find of sth I island trip took tb and gc.

Great cache. Just behind our camper. Left geocoin and travel bug from UK. Tftc katndave
Now "this" IS a cache - well hidden but easy to find when you know where - AND being able to sit there doing the business while chattering muggles pass by - (YOU know how close) - and they don't realise what's going on right under their noses!!!! TNLN. TFTC.
A quick morning walk before moving on. Not behind stump, but in vacinity, kept looking and there she is. TFTC
Quick and easy stroll to the cache site... Glad it wasn't right at the top of the hill.. Thanks for showing us this spot and the missed entrance showed us the marina as well..
Team Penguin didn't want to stop today, so we grabbed a few more before bed... This one I found back in Feb 09 but forgot to log it. I wonder how many caches I have failed to log all up?
Had the afternoon to walk around here away from the truck. Found all the caches in the park. TFTC

Five years on the tree stump doesn't appear freshly cut any more

Overshot slightly along the track and fossicked around on two false trails before hitting the jackpot. We look forward to coming back and biking this trail.
We found this cache easily on a beautiful and sunny hikingtour. Thanks a lot!

An easy find by Mr Themoos while Mrs Themoos stood on muggle watch. A nice walking track.
#1269. (7/24, day 2/4 of Easter trip to Blenheim). Luckily I found a parking spot pretty close to GZ. TFTC.
Lovely morning for a walk around b4 catching ferry - spotted my first fellow geo cachers !
And dropped off Black Cat GC - which would like to spend more time in Sth Island

Lovely walk in from a side street, husband lamenting the fact we could have parked closer!!! Nice walk in and easy to find. TFTC
Easy find. Plenty of ripe blackberrys on the side of the track just past the cache. TFTC TNLN
Nice easy find. We wished we had more time in Picton to do the walkway. The first blackberries of the season!
Walk full of gorse bushes and hint gives away the cache.
