I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi wjbwc
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.

Looked here for ages even found a pile of stones under hint but no cache. Then finally checked logs and see we aren't the only ones.
Just a family out Caching. Hint doesn't help much as there are multiple flax and cabbage bushes/trees. Rummaged around to find Nil. Cheers.

Time for a wee family summers holiday; Kaikoura, Picton and Nelson.
Heading towards Picton now....time for some lunch in the shade and avenge this DNF from a couple years ago when we stayed at the nearby Spring Creek holiday park! Quick find today, not sure how I missed it. Thanks.

We were staying up the road at the Spring Creek camp. We quite often forget to get the caches closest to us, with the "we've got plenty of time to grab that" attitude. Lucky our day's journey was only to Picton, so we had plenty of time to gather a few caches on our way out. Not a fan of flax, but lucky it wasn't too hard. Log was wet
Day #4of our top of the south island road trip with kjr..after out queen Charlotte trip was cancelled
Tiki tour around the vineyards and the blenheim area today...took a wee while to locate...cachers nightmare flax bush...

Heading on a geo adventure with BCD to the top of the South Island...Picton, Blenheim, Havelock and Nelson.
Day 4
Exploring around Blenheim and we started our day with a drive out to the Wairau Bar.
Time to head towards the vineyards now for a bit of wine tasting this one took awhile and just about to give up when I spotted the all familiar blue amongst the flax TFTC

Another beautiful Marlborough day. Easing towards 400 finds, so hoping to get there with a day of caching in Spring Creek & environs! As with previous comments, my initial thoughts were, "Which cabbage tree? Which flax?", but I wandered around with my GPS trying to get as close to it as possible then, with minimum rummage, spotted it within arm's length. TFTC
We stayed at the campground just 100m to these cache, so of course I had to take a look at least. Not too convinced that I'll find it after a couple of DNF. At GZ there were several possible hiding spots, checked some of them without finding anything else than rubbish. Moved on a bit and tried from different sides and angles, yeah, eventually found it. Cache is still there, log is dry and container all good.
Yeh right which cabbage tree and which flax bush. Nice to see lovely fresh water Spring.
We were not prepared to search in the flax. Will bring gloves for next time through the area.
Family holiday time...loaded up with bicycles to find some fun tracks. A couple nights Kaikoura, a couple in Blenheim & then finally a couple nights in Richmond.
After a couple nights in Kaikoura it's now time for a couple nights in Blenheim. After an afternoons bicycle ride around the town section of the river track we came back to our accommodation for some tea and then a wee walk.....no luck here. The roadside cabbage tree & flax area is being used as a toilet...not so nice....and no luck searching the riverside flax....GPS couldn't settle as to which was more likely so gave up...another day perhaps. Cheers.

A great 2 weeks of travelling the south island it's been amazing great weather only 1 half day if wind and rain nearly 500 caches found over the time incredible views tftc a quick find here I thought I had it sorted by the hint prior to approaching and yes I did but then it was an ahha moment tftc great place and area to explore hope to visit again the Sourh Island soon. No muggles around only traffic zooming by none caring what I was up to tftc signed the log and placed it back exactly where I found it. Our first cache for the day a great start a smile tftc
Figuring out which hint object and which direction were what took me so long at this find. I was quite pleased when I finally found it (good thing there were no muggles around to hear my "whoop" of joy!). This was my third find of the day.
Thank you for the cache, this is a beautiful spot.

All good here, just had to wait patiently as some fossils on two wheels (mostly e-assisted) passed by before replacing it.
Thanks WJBWC...found all good ...but not as per clue...cache creep ...signed and replaced as found
An interesting spot here. Last of the day before long bike back to our motor home. Thanks for bringing us here wjbwc
[#4380] After having arrived at Picton with the Bluebridge ferry we drove into town to pay it a visit. Weather was cloudy with drizzle rain but an umbrella was not necessary. After a cache and a cup of tea we headed for the holiday park near Blenheim. Just before dinner I went for a short walk to the nearby little park to search for this cache. It took me some time to find my way through the flax plants but after a while I found the small box. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache. Left a trackable behind.

Took some brave adventures to climb into the bushy belly of the beast! But we found it!
Found the cache the size is not true it is actually smaller but the view is amazing
3rd time lucky!! This time I brought GK with me as he often finds the caches I have struggled with. We were both grovelling around in the undergrowth for what was far too long. I read a past log that suggested going further along the geotrail. Turns out there were a couple of trails to choose from - luckily for me I followed the correct one and eventually found it. We turned what could have been an easy find into one that wasn't. But we are very pleased to turn this one into a yellow smilie, thank you
Found it, just gotta follow the trail, alll the way in. No pen so will come back and scribble too
I found this one with VikingNav as we made our way to Picton to catch the Interislander Ferry tomorrow morning. This was a well done hide. Thanks for the fun cache, and for giving us a reason the stop and stretch our legs a bit. >^..^
On the way to Picton to catch a ferry in the morning. We stopped for a few caches along the way to break up the drive. TFTC
#556. I started caching in March 2016, and this was one of my first DNF's, as a newbie. 686 days later, nearly two years, I was determined to turn the blue face into a smiley. And after a reasonably short search, I did! Tftc wjbwc.
Hmmm. Two DNFs on medium sized cache, but it's in the flax...Do I stop and look?
Yep. And I'm glad I did as I found the cache in the first place I looked.
Now, how so I extract myself from here without raising the suspicions of the trucky that just pulled up? Phew, just enough natural cover.
Good to see an older cache still going strong.
Thanks

Lots of undergrowth everywhere spent 20 mins trying to find it but unfortunately didnt happen maybe next time
We are from the UK and have no idea what flax bushes and cabbage trees look like! So we rummaged around for a bit at what we thought was gz, but no luck for us.
Woo hoo!!!!! Our 4000th find!!!! And we nearly DNF'd this one too!!! Phew Thanks for this cache and the spot.
Bit of a tricky find today with eltee291! Looked for a good 5 minutes before finally finding it. Lots of flax to contend with! Signed the log and replaced as found. Visiting from Victoria, BC, Canada! Thanks for the cache!
Tricky find today with hingis20. I think that flax is almost as bad as ivy. In NZ from Victoria, BC, Canada visiting family in Blenheim for a while and geocaching. TFTC
Found with the help of Kiwizoom. I tried to find this one last time I was in the area with no success. But found it this time while out on a walk with Kiwizoom. Unfortunately people sometimes use this area as a toilet stop :/ I guess they don't know here is a public toliet just down the road. Tftc
Tried, couldn't find between the number of flax n cabbage trees & the inaccurate compass...maybe another day
Last time we were here it was a warm afternoon and a young couple were enjoying their time together about 5 metres from this cache. Seemed a shame to disturb them so this has been on the back burner for 6 months or so. Passing by today and no chance of anything similar this morning - it's cool and wet, and my target is at least 4 a day so this completes that aim. QEF, and cache still in OK shape. Bag not sealing properly but log book ok and container watertight. TFTC wjbwc
Not luck this time. Too many cabbage trees and too many flax bushes. Must have poked around most of them. Better luck next time.
I really wanted to find this one as it was a previous DNF for me and successful this time TFTC
Had a quick look for this cache before
Heading north
No luck will have to return some time

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)...
On our way to NZ Mega Christchurch 2015, and caching as we go. We planned to stay close to the main highway and only venture off into the countryside where appropriate... That didn't always work for us. A 4-5 hour journey ended up taking us almost two days; such was the sheer number of caches we encountered along the route.
We are pleased to report that almost all of the caches we stopped for were in place and in good order. Besides a bit of dampness, there was nothing of concern. This is a feat that cache owners in this area of the country can be proud of... We thank you... Thank you for bringing to our attentions areas of significance. We enjoyed discovering scenic areas, historical and social locations, and other personally meaningful spots.
As stated, we found loads of caches... If we were to write an individualised note for each one, we'd never get the logging done. Hence, there will be a lot of cutting and pasting going on... My apologies!!
Marlborough: Boo!! One of a very small number of caches that evaded us. Nice area though.

Nice area but once I saw the location of gz decided not to even attempt to find as I hate looking in this sort of vegetation and wasn't going to spend ages looking for something that might not even be there judging by the amount of tins and bottles scattered within and around the area.
Found it, though don't like the flax bush ones. Knowing previous geocacher having logged the cache.

A last cache on the way home to satisfy my even number OCD issue. A QEF PnG and even managed to avoid the dog poo mentioned in the previous log, someone didn't though.

Didn't I get a cache of yours down near Hokitika recently?

Out and about with TheWilsonz on a drizzly day. Was planning to head toward Havelock and the sounds but the sky was black in that direction so headed into town via this cache.
Arrived at GZ and waited for the compass to settle then had to step over a large poo to get to the cache.
Found pretty quickly so pleased as the rain was coming down at this moment.

Rainy day geocaching lead us to Spring Creek, after a bit of bushwhacking we finally tracked it down, out with raisin pig!
Today I'm all alone with Raisinpig on leave for a week and GH6710 on leave for a day, so I needed to get out for my daily streak keeping cache. This one was not the closest to work but was close enough so I went for it.
Parking at GZ I followed the compass and hint on c:geo and soon had my hands on the cache. I opened it up and... bonus a TB, a racing car that wants to visit race tracks around the world. There's a cache near a local track which I have already got, but I think I'll drop it off there.

#925. Out and about geocaching in the rain near Blenheim. No sign of any muggles stopping at this spot in this miserable weather. I charged off to grab the cache and then soon realised that the area had a lot of hint object combos. So back to car for the GPS and made my way to a spot that looked promising. The vegetation was dripping wet but managed to make the find without getting too wet, except for my shoes. These went into a deep puddle! Signed the log in car so should still be dry, then off to the next one. Managed to find enough room in this cache to leave behind a TB. TFTC
Nice easy find! What a beautiful spot, such a shame about all the litter We'll come back when it's not raining for a tidy up!
